I have no exams going on and have lessons for 12/week. However, the only important subject I am doing in Chemistry A2 level for 5h/week. I do a few hours of Spanish (3h/week) but that does not help me with my Uni applications. The rest are tutorials, and debating 'lessons'.

On a second note, I've ordered Pokemon SoulSilver and gosh I totally can't wait for the game to be out in the UK. I couldn't resist the preorder + express delivery (which is £5 than it is in the shop anyway). Plus I apparently get a small figurine too. I won't go into details on exactly how I dislocated my shoulder. The point is I did dislocate it at home due to an accident (this was the 6th episode, 4th episode which required a hospital reduction and also my 2nd episode which required sedation).

I unfortunately do not have a car, and my mum can't drive. So we dial 999 and wait around 40 minutes for a transportation/ambulance service. It arrives around 40 minutes later. Life's been pretty hectic for me which is why I haven't had much of a chance to login.

Anyway, firstly, I'd like to mention, Pichu's World's sister site, Pikachu's Hideaway is up and running! Go check 'em out.

I'm mostly lurking around on my own Oekaki; it sure takes a lot of time to manage the secret santa event that's going on there.

In terms of my real life, most of my time will be spent revising for my ICT AS exam in January. I'll also be off skiing for a few days in Poland, which'll be a hell of a lot of fun.

Firstly, would you be interested in seeing my professional art?

It's usually of a better quality than my computer pictures, but concerns more animal, portrait and landscape subjects.

HOWEVER, I am a little concerned about art theft, and am therefore uncertain how I can prevent this if I am displaying my work on the internet. I have a choice between watermarks, low-res (small) pictures of my work or perhaps something else. How safe is it for me to upload my artwork (which I value more than my computer pics) onto dA?

Have I got your attention? Ok, so, we had a 'study skills' day at school, with various speakers etc. One of whom was a successful business man, and he talked about how we should be successfully.

On the my main point. Now, we all know that positive thinking, positive self-esteem/self-image, determination and hard work is what makes a 'successful' person and are the key ingredients to a happy life. Certainly I know that for myself. We all know that becuase we are all told that to be true. But do we really know the power of positive thinking? Or is it just a pile of crap?

Eng lit, Eng language, Spanish, ICT, Biology, Physics, Chemistry: A*

Last year I did French and Maths, which I got an an A* for, as well as Religious Studies which I got an A for.

The worst was additional maths, where I got a C. But that's becuase I ran out of time on the exam and had to teach myself everything anyway. Plus I had more important exams on my mind.

Generally, I'm very pleased.

I start school on the 4th on September. I'll be studying physics, chemistry, biology and maths. But I'll be doing ICT and perhaps Spanish on my own too.

I perfectly understand the concept of drawing a figure on flash, but I have no idea how to animate it or add frames.

On another note, I'm trying to install Ubuntu (Linux) on an external HDD. Hopefully it'll work out this time. I tried to install Mint Linux (a derivative of Ubuntu) but that just failed. I'm planning to dual boot Linux and Windows. Why? Just for fun. :3

I realise that I haven't logged in here for almost 5 weeks. Well, I've been very busy. I've got revision to do for 4 exams in January. Plus I've been on holiday in Poland skiing.

I want it to boot up faster and also to be able to run more batch processes (such as opening 100 or so photos in PSP or using really large canvas on Photoshop).

I have quite an old computer, on my main partition I have 199GB of free space, and I'm using sa Pentium 4 (3GHz) processor with 1GB of RAM.
