Yep, my first real anime convention has come and gone - and what a convention it was! I got to hang out with a lot of cool amateur webcomic artists, finally own some Pretty Cure and Lucky Star merchandise, saw the Taiko drummers perform songs about Canada, met a member of Dr. Steel's Toy Soldiers who gave me a free Dr. Steel button and watched a screening of the 11th Pokemon movie, Giratina and the Sky Warrior, which was awesome (and full of narm from the incredibly camp villain who must be seen to be believed...Zero, keep on trucking).

I want to make a personal shoutout to the creators of the awesome webcomic Dragon Mango for getting me back on my feet again! I went out for Halloween as Dr. Jeff...for the third year in a row. People actually remembered me! My BFF Nicky came along for the ride, dressed as Dr. Zoidberg from Futurama (YES PLZ!) for the second year in a row.

However, the best part had to be what people THOUGHT we were. And, so you can LOL along with me, I shall post people's guesses as to our costumes...

Dr. Zoidberg was labelled as: Doctor Lobster, an Octopus, a Jellyfish.

Dr. Jeff, who is a sort of OC anyway which makes it harder, was called Dr. Strangelove twice (Wtf, Dr. Strangelove looks nothing like a doctor let alone a mad scientist!) Dr. Monster, and, my personal favourite...
Someone thought I was McDreamy from Grey's Anatomy.

I saw Avenue Q. It was really awesome, and it was hilarious AND touching. It was very educational and effing rofltastic at the same time.

I bought 3 My Meebas. 2 have hatched, a Happiness one I named Dustin (he's black and has wiry fuuuuur) and a Love one named Poppy (she looks like a jellyfish with...rainbow...faux-snakeskin). I have a third one that's Friendship type but I'm gonna hatch it on my birthday.

10 levels of playing a game as a rebellious prick of the 'Color Underground', but it was worth it to see the cutscenes of the I.N.K.T corperation being awesome.

I waited to the end of the credits and it was worth it...

Anyone who wants spoilers/tips/etc. just let me know.

I beat the entire game without hurting a single iNKY, with the exception of the mandatory battle with Comrade Black and a turret I accedentally locked on to when I meant to select the paint tanker that makes you invincible. This has to be a record. The Ministry of Ink was...wow. I had to weave my way around the little guys for more than an hour.

1) I bought slushies for my GLE class, but they ended up spilled all over the table. Fortunately, not only were most of the slushies salvaged, but what was unable to be consumed ended up all over rebel Daniel's comic book collection. I swelled with pride.

2) I went to the corner store near my school and bought some candy. 2 assorted prize pack things, and 1 choco/mint ring pop.

3) I had to be picked up from school today because I randomly felt horribly weak and feverish, but it only lasted about 3 hours, two of which I spent sleeping on the couch.

4) My Youtube account is now permenantly gone, apparently due to 'copyright infringement'. I don't feel as bad about its disappearance as I do about having supposedly done something wrong...I feel really dirty, like I broke the law...I hate this feeling...

I'm trying so hard. I do cry a lot, but I know that maybe, somewhere, they're watching me...and they'll always be close to my heart. But I miss them...

I...my...my parents gave me my things back.
I can't believe they gave me my things back. They apparently had a talk last night and are attributing this to teenage angst. And by the time I'm too old for that to be their fake cause, I don't have to worry about them taking my things anymore...


So, they gave me my bracelet back. And many other things. My program and my CD...
But I was still crying. My parents expected me to be ecstatic after this, but when I was still sad, I thought they'd take all my things away again. And I think they came this close to.

And they didn't take my computer time either. In fact, it got longer by one hour.

...maybe some celestial being shocked them in the butt. Whatever it is, I was lucky. And no matter what...

I will always miss...

And I have a limit of 2 hours on the computer unless I do art instead of 'Globalsoft Sh**' as my parents said.
Apparently talking on msn counts as 'Globalsoft Sh**'.

I went to bed at 7:00 last night, to say the least.

Maybe I am crazy, but I can't put it through my little pea brain that Globalsoft, that Ga Ga, that the Killer Queen, that the *Commander* won't ever be real...
And I love it all too much.

I'm not trying to make drama here. I know that's hated here on DA. I'm just stating the facts. There's about a 80 percent chance I'm leaving altogether, but I won't really mention that because then it seems like I'm trying to feign sympathy.

It's my birthday today (Oct. 27th), and, me usually being a person who gets excited as hell for her birthday, it is really unlike me to not care at all. =/ Which is how I feel right now.

For all those curious, I'm 14 years old now, but I don't feel any different. I feel kind of strange knowing I'm officially OFFICIALLY a teenager now (they say 13 is the age, but I seriously felt no different when I turned 13, I didn't feel the teen heat [nothing sexual implied. It's a metaphor, ya pervs! ] until later this year, really.)...and there are so many characters in shows and things this age, so it feels even more awkward. O.o

As for giftart...if you really, REALLY have time for it and really, REALLY want to, it would mean a lot to me. <3 In fact, if you give me giftart I will most likely ask you to request me something, because I always feel guilty getting it for 'free'.

As for what I want for giftart...just go with what YOU want to draw for giftart. I think if you're enough of a friend to want to draw me anything, you're enough of a friend to know what to draw. :3

A dog is the subject of several experiments by a college campus. The dog gains amazing superhuman strength and agility. Unfortunately for the dog’s sake, he also becomes a English-speaking playboy who steals the scientists’ girlfriends. Unable to cope with this, they deem him a ‘failure’ and dump him on the road.

Meanwhile, Alvin Wheatley, a down-on-his luck nerdy dog trainer, is trying once again to impress blonde and perfect girl Marilyn with his dog stunt show, the Hound’s Angels. He is horrible at it, however. His dogs are a dysfunctional crew who can’t perform. He is booed offstage.

On the way to his caravan, he finds the lab test dog on the road. He discovers the dog can speak. He adopts him and puts him into his act, naming the dog ‘Buddy’. Though not wanting to perform at first, the superhuman dog (with the ability to lift cars and jump over buildings) makes the Hound’s Angels overnight stars. The talking dog woos human and canine ladies alike – he’s even taken Marilyn with his suave nature.

Now, everyone wants a piece of Buddy…including those who first experimented on him…and it’s going to be an adventure full of stunts, chases, and, of course, puppy love…

It's strange, because after seeing the show, I felt an even greater connection with the characters than I could even imagine
(for those of you at the Angel board, you most likely know I felt a connection with one Commander Khashoggi...but after seeing the show, it seemed more like 'Me and Khashoggi are friends, and we have been for a long time' kind of thing...it was very strange. He feels like part of my ohana. It's a very special, confidence-boosting friendship. But I still want to give him a hug. He needs one, I think. And so do I...). What I just said is all true. It may seem strange, but I really felt like I made a new friend today with a certain white-haired, shades-wearing man. Khashoggi...if you are surfing archives or something and come across this journal somehow, know that you are loved.

It's a kind of magic...

I scrapped all of the 'Killak Kountdown' images because Bobo looked like crap in them. >o> I decided to look at Bobo himself and measure his exact body proportions. His head is an OVAL, not round, and his body is only a tiny bit bigger than his head and is really fat for an experiment. And I designed my drawing style of Bobo a long time ago, and I decided it was time for Bobo to actually LOOK like an experiment in my drawings!

He has the same style of eyes as Skip and Nosox: [link] [link]

Also unlike most experiments, Bobo has no fingers. He does have claws but prefers to keep them retracted. He also has no toes/toe-claws of any kind.

His second (retractable) pair of arms has darker red markings on each arm, and he has only two small spikes instead of three (they're barely noticable when he has them out. Usually they are in anyways.)

Back from WDW! I met some relatives there I didn't even know I had! Amazing! Allie was the relative (Rhonda)'s daughter, and she brought along her friend Ben. We just randomly met there and had the best of times!
I went on some thrill rides too! I'm a chicken usually, but they dared me to go on Splash Mountain. Well, I did...and it was awesome! It opened out the floodgates for more - Soarin' (most amazing thing EVER), Mission Space Green Team (still a chicken! ), and DINOSAUR, which scared the living cheese out of my aunt Lisa who took me in the first place.

Sooo, inspired by the art trade I did with ...

In order to perfect my style and give some art to people who deserve it, the first five people who post a comment on this journal will get a picture - sketch most likely, unless you really want it colored, I don't mind doing so at all - of their mammilian animal OR human character as an Animal Island character. There are a few rules -

1) If it is an animal character, the animal must be a mammal. If you'd like, I can do a semi-mammal character (ie a cat with lizard-like characteristics) but they must be mostly mammal. It cannot be a reptile, bird, mollusc, insect, etc. because those are considered 'animals' in the Animal Island world, and would not be 'people'.

2) If it is a human character who already has a mammilian animal form, specify it for me now...or if you want them to be a certain animal, tell me first so I don't mess it up on you! I want these to be perfect and everyone to be happy! =3

3) The default option is the character standing on their own. However, if you want them to be interacting with another Animal Island character, I'll go ahead and do so! Your character might share a pint with McCord.

What is that, you ask? Well, a Nabaztag is a Wi-Fi rabbit. From the internet, Ally connects to the world and brings me news, web radio, podcasts and special 'nabcasts', weather, and various other things - including telling me the time each hour, or even waking me up in the morning by playing me music from Ojamajo Doremi. ^-^ With the new version, Nabaztag/tag (which now has a belly button), I can even TALK to Ally with voice commands!

ACK! Neither of them would be very good college professors, unless it was at a college for food-obsessed people, then Trevor could teach there. Or how to bite legs, Bobo could teach that.

He's a rabbit. Therefore, he is the sexiest thing alive. xD

03) 12 sends 8 on a mission. What is it, and does it succeed?
Dodie sends Roy on a mission to get him a better beret, but it is vomited on by Trevor, so therefore Roy fails in his mission. Dodie isn't happy.

04) What is or would be 9's favorite book?
The Art Of Cheese Making, or How To Get Rich Off Of Peculiar Fluid From An Udder In Three Easy Steps. He bought it off Amazon.ca.

05) Would it make more sense for 2 to swear to 6, or the other way around?
Definately 6, Bobo, would be more likely to swear in any situation. He's quite snappy.

06) For some reason, 5 is looking for a roommate. Should s/he share a studio apartment with 9 or with 10?
Sugar would definately share an apartment with Cameron! Both are crazy, obsessed with strange weaponry and explosions, and work for sinsiter organizations! They also both don't make their beds in the morning. Match made in roomie heaven!

07) 2, 7 and 12 have dinner together. Where do they go, and what do they discuss?
Newton, Dr. Jeff, and Dodie? Well, Dr. Jeff would most likely take them to some peculiar restaurant in the Beast End, Newton would stuff his face not knowing it was human meat, Dodie wouldn't touch a thing because he only eats when he's full; Dr. Jeff would rant about his latest evil plan while Newton hits himself in the head with a plunger and screams repeatedly, while Dodie puts on a rather annoyed face. ^-^

08) 3 challenges 10 to a duel. What happens?
Ruby challenges Cameron to a duel? I don't think Ruby would really do that, but if she did, Cameron would bring out a bunch of ACME weapons which would then backfire on him, and Ruby would run off in the distance to glomp Mayor Auggie again. xD Poor Augustus...

09) If 1 stole 8's most precious possession, how would s/he get it back?
I'm not sure what Roy's most precious posession is, but if 642 stole it, Roy would act all cool and French and attempt to persuade 642 to give it back with his francophone charms, and when that fails horribly, he would give him a wafer thin mint and hope it has the same effect on 642 as it did on Trevor. =3

10) Suggest a title for a story in which 7 and 12 both attain what they most desire.
Dr. Jeff and Dodie have very different desires, so it would most likely be something that combines the two...how about "Destroy the World, Save the World, and Get This Crazy Dude The Heck Away From Me!"

11) What kind of plot device would you use if you wanted 4 and 1 to work together?
I would have 642 be changed from one of Jumba's/Doom's experiments to an ODA test much like Hamish X, and then have Hamish X and 642 meet on a training mission and become pals. ^-^ That would actually make a good fic.

12) If 7 visited you for the weekend, how would you get along?
Dr. Jeff and I would spend the whole time cackling evilly and making twisted monsters in the basement, as well as eating mint humbugs until we're sick as can be, then inventing something to allow us to eat even more...that would be the time of my life, I tell ya!

13) If you could command 3 to perform any one task or service for you, what would it be?
To go spy on Mayor Augustus May-Who with me. She would obviously oblige, and we would hide behind a rock, or a bench, and squeal and giggle and do fangirl things.

In this journal entry I've decided to bring an important issue to rise: COMMENTS. I've noticed a lot of people have been faving every piece I've made just because you are my friends; this is very nice and I thank you greatly. But, don't feel like you have to fave everything I make! It's fine! In fact, what is dissappointing me is that I get tons of faves but almost no comments. So, if you go to a piece of mine and you wish to add it to favorites, if you have the time...please comment on the art as well. Say what you like or dislike about it...it's the only way I'll be able to improve. Comments > faves. Rant over.

Also, as you may know I've seen the sneak preview for The Last Mimzy, which actually comes out on the 23rd of March...it's a wonderful movie, sweet story, makes you think and sometimes creeps you out. Definately one to see, people! *pokenudge*

Also, Little Britain is awesome, for those of you who haven't heard of it, it's a British sketch comedy show, sort of like a modern Monty Python. It can be viewed on Youtube, a quick search will get it. YeahIknow.

Also, the coolest thing ever is that there are actually computers there, and I'll most likely log onto DA and tease y'all about the fact I'm standing right in front of a wall of Stitch plushies.

I'm going during my April break, and for the last week I'll be doing a countdown picture every day, as I did last year. Expect a lot of inventions, a lot of...Nick...and a lot of...Figment. Plus a lot of Stitch experiments! Whee!
