He walks around the school the whole friggin' day going into random classes and going into the hallway and the library and asking in that stupid voice 'HEY HOW WE DOIN'?' LIKE GTFO PLZ.
I'm extremely pissed off at our school's administration as you can see, and for a good reason. My art teacher has been absent for a really long time now and during the previous week or so it was because his daughter was being sent off to Iraq and his father-in-law died so he had to take days off to fix everything. Turns out that while we were gone over the weekend and the week he came back, they changed our room AGAIN. You see, the previous art room had mold and crap in it that was making everyone sick (including Mr. Ernest, my teacher) so we had to move to another room that was cold as Antarctica. But then they moved the room! They moved all our clay sculptures and everything! With no letter to Mr. Ernest or anything! So he goes to the principal and basically yells at him and whatnot, tells him what a shitty job he's doing as a principal by hiding things behind everyone's back and everything. WHICH HE IS. AND HE DOES SHIT NOTHING DURING THE DAY EXCEPT WALK AROUND LIKE A SWEATY PEDOPHILE IN THE HALLWAYS ASKING EVERYONE HOW THEY ARE DOING.
Now we're stuck in this room next to the library and Mr. Ernest has not come in for the past week and a half or so. I think he's starting to lose faith, and so am I. He says he's sick but..he's retiring after this year so it really doesn't matter how many days he wants to be 'sick' I guess. We haven't been able to do any work without his guidance and advice and it's really hard to get started on a project when we don't have the right materials either. I mean we could start on our own, but where would we go from there? We need an art teacher to..well..teach us art, you know? Our stuff isn't perfect so we need his critique.
I think it's because the principal feels that art is less important than say math or history or science. Well screw all of that crap; if I want a major in art, I'm going to get one. And I'm going to shove it up his ass.

Damien: General vampire powers (fangs, claws, speed, etc) and general werewolf powers (transforming into a werewolf, etc)..and I can make fire. But I don't do that a lot. I prefer to use my guns.
December: Um..none, really..I'm kind of defenseless..I can turn into a cat, but..that's not really anything special..

I got some cool stuff..including a sewing machine and sewing book..and sewing classes every Thursday for like 4 weeks so yay. We're supposed to be learning how to make a skirt and somethin' else so we'll see how that goes. Hopefully this will help me learn how to sew and use the machine and such so I can make things in the future. I really want to learn how to make cosplay costumes, fursuits, or even just clothes but..like..with my own personal touch to them.
Anyway uhh..so..also um..I think it was two Fridays ago when I went to see the Gothic: Dark Glamour exhibit at FIT. It was freaking awesome. I got the book from the place for an early birthday present from my aunt who I love so much (she and my uncle took me there). <33333
FIT is the shit. I wanna go there. Maybe. But a lack of a portfolio might not be so good. Haha..I should get started on that. At least my grades are acceptable though..so I hope that plays a role in some of their judgments.
UMMM sorry for not updating all that often. I mostly doodle nowadays on paper and my scanner is hooked up to the comp with no internet SOOOOO yeah. Sorry 'bout that.
Anyway, I wish everyone the best. Enjoy the year, because I'm certainly not. I think 2009 started off pretty shitty. I mean look at what happened to John Travolta's son. :/ And the boyfriend of someone in my grade overdosed and he's met the same fate. Sucks balls, man.

So I think my art teacher was right when he said AP classes were just a way for kids to stupidly challenge themselves and get shitty grades when they can get awesome grades in not so tough classes and still get into good colleges.

My schedule consists of PE, Health, Advanced Art II, AP Biology, Math B, English 11 Honors, Study Hall, and AP US History. In that order. But some things switch off, including PE and Health and Art and Bio Lab.
The AP classes aren't all that stressful right now, but they probably will be later on in the year. I'm glad I've got good teachers so that at least if I'm having a mental breakdown, I can talk to someone about it whom I have a good relationship with.
Anyway..that's all that's going on in my life as of recent. Oh..and I'll be attending the New York Anime Festival at the Jacob Javits center on Saturday and Sunday with , , and . I'm going with other people too, but they're the only people I'm going with on dA, aha. I'll be cosplaying Near on Saturday and Shuichi on Sunday. Wonder how that will work out...ah well. If you're coming, let me know. Maybe I'll see you there. :]

Seriously, one of the best, most memorable experiences of my life. Disregarding that the place was PACKED, it was totally amazing. It was seriously much more than I expected, and much better in that sense.

We were started off with having to read a really nerdy poem, then watching a clip of a Ms. Pacman cosplayer run away from a bunch of Ghosty cosplayers. Oh man, the crowd was hysterical, and so was I.

It's too bad Square-Enix doesn't allow the event to show footage from their games or music. But I liked how they played the Kingdom Hearts theme while displaying footage from Disney movies with various characters. That was a pretty creative thing. Unfortunately when they played One-Winged Angel, there was no footage for that. But all the same, I enjoyed it. That has to be one of my favorite video game themes, and the orchestra and chorus were fantastic.

They played various other things as well; old-school Super Mario Bros. music and Legend of Zelda music, as well as various Halo tunes and things from Sonic the Hedgehog, Metal Gear Solid, and Castlevania. Of course there were many more tunes, but I couldn't name them all. As they went along, they showed how the games progressed and I wasn't surprised to hear tons of cheers about games I had never even heard of that had some of the strangest pixel graphics I've ever seen, haha.

During the intermission I got to shake hands with the president of Capcom, and in case you all didn't know, I am a HUGE HUGE Phoenix Wright and Apollo Justice fan. So I was basically shaking the whole time and my voice rose about 10 octaves while I tried to ask him for a picture, haha. Go see my webcam section for the photo. I apologize for the crappyness of my phone camera.

I highly recommend attending this event if you really are a fan of video games and the music produced within them. I found the entire performance to be absolutely amazing and quite breathtaking. We had really good seats as well, and I have to admit, both my friend who came with me and I had goosebumps. My mom has never been a fan of video games, and yet she enjoyed the performance as well, moreso the orchestra than the footage that was shown though. But hey, it's music people; whether it's got words or not and whether it's from a CD or a movie or a video game, it's good for the soul.
