So I've got three conventions coming up in the near future- Bronycon Trotcon Canterlot Gardens

There will be some pretty amazing guests at each con, and I'm not usually keen on standing in crazy-long lines for a moment of face-time with a celebrity.  But for folks like Lauren Faust, Tara Strong, and John DeLancie I'm definitely making exceptions!

I am so happy to report my best friend came through surgery without a hitch...that is, except for the hitch of having to go into surgery and have evil cancer bits taken out to begin with.  Thanks to everyone who wrote me inquiring about her health, and passed along your well wishes and good karma.  Thursday was a rough day with lots of worrying and stressing over the outcome.  But according to her doctor, surgery went perfectly and he could see no obvious sign of the cancer having spread further.  And, I have to tell you, at that moment an enormous sigh of relief was breathed by your humble narrator.
