Here's a few fun facts about the Uncia Clan:

The Uncia Breed

Uncia is the name given to a particular breed/family
of snow leopard found in the coldest, most desolate
regions of the earth. This location will remain
undisclosed for the privacy reasons. Uncia Uncia is
also the name given to the entire snow leopard
species, but here, it has no correlation. The Uncia
clan and the Uncia Uncia species are different.

Physical Characteristics of Uncia’s:

• The coats of newborn kittens are darker than adults.
Fur tends to lighten when the kitten begins puberty.
Entire coat patterns may change.
• Generally, the fluffiest parts on an Uncia are the
neck, thighs, tail, and wrists. However, variation
does occur. One cat might be more streamlined, while
another cat might be a wad of fur.
• The eyes of all Uncia’s are pupiless and are a
glowing molten gold in color. Upon closer examination
(if one will let you get that close), you would see
that the iris is moving and swirling. This movement
continues even in sleep.
• Uncia’s lack pupils because they do not see in the
normal sense of the word. The energies produced by the
people and objects around them are processed in the
golden, Uncia eye, rather than capturing the bending
light that normal eyes do.
• Because of their sensitivities to specific energies
and electrical fields, most Uncia’s are moderately
empathic (sense emotions) and some are even sensitive
enough to process the conscious thoughts of others.
• The hair on the heads of all Uncia’s is a bright,
flashy color. This bright color ends in a deep black
near the end of the strand. The amount of black varies
from cat to cat, but generally, less than half of the
shaft will be black. When cut, the ends of the hair
will fade to black in about ten minutes.
• The insides of the Uncia’s ears will always reflect
the color of the hair. Although, there have been cases
reported with bi-colored ears when more than one color
is present in the hair. (Very rarely does this occur)
• The Uncia clan has developed a deep connection with
the cold they thrive in. With their ability to see
energies, some cats have developed an even deeper
connection with the ice element and choose to learn to
control it. Also known as ‘elemental magic’, Uncia’s
bend the energies that only they (and a few other
magic-based species) can see. The ability to do this
is not common, but seems to run in families,
particularly the aristocracy.

Lately I have been questioning my own artistic ability and my ability to create. (This can also be found on my FurAffinity account). I do draw a lot of the same things, (i.e. furries, animals, cartoons...) but does that mean I'm uncreative or limited? It's been kind of bugging me. I have this terrible habit of comparing myself to others who have a completely different style or are 10 years older than me. NOT GOOD! It's a bad habit that only leads to discouragement. But then I see people who are of similar, or the same age of me who can do things that I never could have dreamed of, and it really bothers me. Am I behind? Am I lacking something that makes an artist? Can I call myself an artists? This, among other things, has been leading to a lot of emotional stress and it's getting to me. T.T -Free gift art to anyone who can give me some GOOD advice- ((I will be the judge))

It's been a while since I've updated this little thing, so it's about time I let you know what's going on. Sooo... I've got a few commissions and gifts to finish. Here's a small list:

Character design for Zooty Geartail
D&D picture for Lunar
Character design for Wind

Just those three, but I still need to get some inspiration... and motivation. X3 I'm such a lazy bum.

School's been going very well, but my classes are hard, leaving little time for decent art-making. Whoever invented AP Physics needs to DIE. HARD.

I suppose I'll start off with what's new! If you hadn't noticed, my style's changed just a wee bit. I like it a lot! I learned from a very talented artist how to do really nice digitigrade legs. ((Did I spell that right? 0.0))

Wow, is it just me, or have I really been slacking in my drawing? I mean, there's so many things that I really want to draw, but I just don't have enough time! I really need to invest in one of those happy little time-stop-watch-thingies to wear on my wrist. ((among other things. X3))

I want to make people gifts! So many gifts! Lets see... I have to color something for Rehett, Ashley, contest entry, and a commision that I have put off for FAR too long. 0.0

Anywho! Yay for spring! It's right around the corner and all the flora/fauna around here seems to know. The yucca are starting to bloom. I love the great big flowers that they put out! You know, there really isn't anything quite like a blooming cactus. Or a baby coyote.

You see, female reindeer have antlers just like the males, but unlike the males, they don't lose theirs untill SPRING. Males lose theirs durring winter! So they all have to be female! The names make sense. =3 They can be girl names. After all, Donner and Blitzen are just German for Thunder and Lightning.

Anywho. X3 Enough about my lame discoveries.

So! I am currently sitting at home in my lovely kitchen, enjoying one of these legendary New Mexico sunsets. ^w^ The sky is so surreal at this time of day! Right around six or seven... it's absolutley beautiful. The underside of the clouds has turned golden, while the top remains purple, and blood red glow fills the whole sky, except for the yellow rose slowly sinking into the horizon.

Gah!! I love sunsets!

Soooooo.. yes. I figured it was time for me to post at least one journal! As many of you may know, I will soon be departing to the Free Republic of Pheonix, Arizona! The trek will be harsh, but me and my best friend Donna shall make the trip together.

Yes! It will be magical! We'll be attending one of the best Ren-faires in the western united states. =3 While there, I MAY just run into none other than--- JIVYRA! Yesh. =3 The young fur that I have known for like.... almost two year. 0.0 Gah! I feel old now! He'll be bringing along his friend, Skagway, who I also know! ^w^ I'm really excited.

Bwahahaha... I'm sitting in the computer lab at school right now. I AM AWSOME. Or something. -3-
