Went to the Repo premier in Vegas a couple of nights ago. Had a blast. I have a very blurry picture of my attacking Pavi (OhGr of Skinny Puppy)'s pants, and someone somewhere has a pic of my attacking Terrance Zdunich's pants while he strangles me with a scarf. So naturally I'll be uploading a few pics very soon.

The movie itself is whoaomgwtfbbqawesomesauce.
I am both awestruck by it and absoloutely unable to force words to explain why from my mouth.
Some of you may already know; a couple of days ago, my little brother had an accident. He flipped his bicycle, and the handlebar pierced his abdomen. He was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, and he bled out on the way there, due to the bike having clipped a couple of arteries. His heart stopped, but they got it started again, and they refilled him with blood transfusions. Long story short, we're still going through some scares, and I've been temporarily kicked outta the waiting room so I can get some rest.

Tak to yall later.

...That I am really looking forward to:

Repo! The Genetic Opera
A musical. A horror musical. With Tony Head in. what more do you need to know? Alright, a mini plot summary: So in the future, along with your designer clothes, you can buy designer innards, though most folks have to pay for them like you pay for a car, and when you miss a payment, the Repo men come out.
Yes, they reposess internal organs. And sing about it. And dance. And I want to see it pls.
Release date: November 7, 2008

Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carrol
Okay, it's Marilyn Manson's version of how Alice in Wonderland came to be written. Come on. It's gotta be good for at least a few dark chuckles. And it'll probably be satisfyingly bloody as well. Besides, Lily Cole's acting. we'll have to see how she does.
Release date: 2008. Sometime.

Alice in Wonderland
Disney's doing it again. The twist? Tim Burton's directing. Am I seeing a huge Alice kick on the rise? Yes, yes I am. The fashion ripples this will cause will be awesome.
PS. Footnote to the fangirls, Depp is supposedly gonna be the Mad Hatter. *covers ears protectively*
Release Date: March 5, 2010

Hatter
Are we seeing a Pattern here? With character names like Matt Hatter (Alan Cumming!), Alice Allyson, Mark Hare, and Dor Mauz, and a plotline like 'A thriller in which a journalist reveals the secrets of a hedonistic fashion designer', we should probably be worried. Alan cumming, though, means I'll be watching it. Yes.
Release date: 2009. Sometime.

The Kentucky Fried Horror Show
Between the name, and the fact that Brad Dourif is going to be a reverend, that just about covers why I'm gonna see it. summary of the story: A group of college students on spring break from school, go on a road trip across the country seeking fun and excitement. They find themselves being hunted one by one in the heart of the Appalachian mountains.
Release date: 2009. Sometime.

Child's Play
The remake? Oh dear. On the other hand, Brad Dourif. 'nuff said. Still in the scripting stage, but we'll see.
Release date: 2010. Sometime.

Into Temptation
Kristin Chenoweth is attampting suicide, and is stopped by a priest. OKAY! Sign me up!
Release date: 2009. Sometime

The rest of the Harry Potter movies, as they come.
Now let's be honest. I'm going to see Lucius Malfoy (Jason Isaacs), and Severus Snape (Alan Rickman). Also, to enjoy the special effects, and bitch about book/movie continuity issues.

Good
A new movie about the psycological and spiritual attack of WWII on the people who just turned a blind eye on the sufferings of the Jews. Jason Isaacs, Viggo Mortenson, interesting point of view.
Release date: 2008. In The UK. Here? Who knows. The Bastards.

Twilight
OMG SPAKLY VAMPIRES!!!!11
Seriously, I like Kristen Stewart. The book series makes me cringe, and I go to the movie hoping that in the trimming, they make the story line a little better, and if nothing else, I can laugh. Because how many girls now have fantasy dream guys who turn into humanoid disco balls in the sun?
Release date: November 21, 2008

I just joined renspace.com, a spinoff/spoof/thing of myspace. it's kewl. They have the potc3 trailer right on the front page. ZOMFG! Jack gets turned into a Davy Jones critter dude! Oh NOES! but Norry gets all clean. And *sniff* Liz turns Jack down. Again. Dammit.
Ren Faires turn up all kinds of extras, so I got a whole scene out of one of 'em, just by gettin' the dude drunk. Seems the dog with the keys comes back. See, Mr. Richards, who is playing Cap'n Sparrow's dad, has a book or box (that bit was unclear) which he has to unlock to open. Pintel and Ragetti drop the box/book in front of him, he casts around for the keys, then goes, "oh, right!" and whistles, and in trots the mutt with the keys. YAY!
And woot for much pirate-y fun. My new favorite line: Why should I sail with any of you? four of you have tried to kill me before. And one of you has succeeded.
ROFL, Elizabeth is all like, WOT!? S'NOT MY FAULT!
