Okay so, I'm changing a couple of the rules because some of them are annoying/stupid. Most of the original rules are in place, but some of the policies are changing a bit.

RULES:

1.)No flaming or harassing people or you will be banned.

2.)Line art and coloured art both accepted

3.) You don't have to but it would be nice to put a link in your journal to the site. You can type :icon PlusAnimaGuild: (without the space) and it will come out like this

4.) CONSTRUCTIVE critism only. Saying "this sucks" doesn't really help the artist get better.

5.) credit the artist, not us.

6.) everyone has to have a +Anima character to represent them in the guild, for contests events etc.



Guidelines for making +Anima character:

a) Just because we have so few male members, your OC does not have to be the same gender as you (but your character is still supposed to represent you)

b) You can choose any type of animal you want, but please make sure that they look unique compared to other OCs who have the same type of +Anima. Use judgement; we don't want to limit the types of +Anima people can choose, but if there are already 10 wolves/cats/foxes, is it really a good idea to make more?
I'm also changing the rules about mythical creature +Anima. I don't want to have any more mythical creatures because often they are very... "god-like" or mary sue, compared to other +Anima. It hasn't been a huge problem yet but I think it's best if we just don't go there because there are many loopholes to what a character might be able to do if they could have the wings of a dragon, claws of a lion, horns of a goat, hoofs of a hippogriff etc
The characters who have already chosen a mythical creature as their +Anima do not have to change, I'm just not accepting any more.

c) Try not to copy off the characters in the book, please, or have any relation to the characters in the book. Pretend they don't exist and never will exist. Make your character as original as possible. (And no you may not be Cooro's third cousin removed).

d) Send us a note with a link to the COLOURED reference sheet with your character in it. You must have a picture of at least one form, (I'd suggest +Anima so people know what happens when you change, because everyone pretty much knows human anatomy doesn't include wings/claws etc) and maybe some character info like, name, age, likes, dislikes etc. Also include a close-up of his/her tattoo.

Hello everyone!

I (~rum-box) am back from my vacation, and it was fabulous! I hung out with old friends in the prairies and family in the mountains! My aunt had gotten re-married, so I hung out with a new cousin (and uncle!)! Yay! La de da...

Anyhow, so I'll be here to update the club etc


If the title of this journal is making you curious about a new policy, then your curiosity is about to be satisfied!

You know how until now we have said that we should not have any +Anima animal repeats? The thing is that I have been getting a couple people asking for +Animas that are already taken. I don't want to turn people away, so I think we should get rid of the "No-Repeats" policy.

Of course, we may end up getting a million wolves/cats/foxes/other popular animals but I think that it would make the club a little easier to join for people who have pre-existing +Anima OCs who wish to join the club and what-not.

So yeah.

Any strong objections? Otherwise I'd like to go ahead and answer these peoples' comments.

THE CLUB IS TO BE REVIVED.

Basically, I blame my own personal laziness/life issues for not paying attention to the club. I'm actually surprised at how crazy my life has been, but I'm not going to use that as an excuse. RAWRRRRRRRRR.

Some of you may be wondering why ~xo-eternal-snow-ox and I are never able to contact each other and remain totally loser-ish when it comes to being able to communicate. Well, I happened to move across the country away from her, and am now two time-zones away. SAD. Anyhow, although it does not seem to be a big difference in today's world of instant messaging; ~xo-eternal-snow-ox has a fail computer. Weird, no? Anyhow. I blame myself only.

ANYWAYS.

Officially, one of us has to revive the club. So even if we never talk, we can do this. YES.

First things first, I went through all the comments and updated the Members journal.
Later, I will send a note to all the people on the list who have reserved a +Anima but have not finished a picture, so I can see if they're still interested or not and maybe open up some animals for other people. Cool.

I'm also going to re-submit the Member's journal just because it's really far back in the journal pages. Yep. So, I'll see you later. I'll submit two journals later today as well; The Member's journal and the event journal, because I still think we should finish the event. Okay.

We really let this die, didn't we? I am so so sorry
A few days ago one of our members noted me on my normal account asking what had happened to the club, and I felt so bad because I had completely forgot about this >__<. This year I believe has been the busiest of my whole life so far with high school, and I believe my fellow mod has had her fill of busyness too. I hope that you all can forgive us for the extreme lack of everything this year... I personally feel like I'm not fit to be a mod anymore

Anyways, now that I've got that off my shoulders, I was wondering (once I get a chance to talk to my fellow mod about it) if anyone was interested in becoming a moderator here themselves? We already have one person who is willing, but I feel like it should be good to have a few more in case some people aren't able to get on for a while (like I ended up doing all year -_-). I am really hoping that together we can all revive this club! Who's with me?

The forum is up and running, and some successful threads have already been made! The more the merrier though, so if you haven't checkout out he forum, feel free to, and experience the real feeling of being in the +Anima Guild!

*Today I made a new category too, so that you do not have to roleplay with your registered OC. The bugs still need to be ironed out of the system, but that job is up to you to try it out, and tell us if there is a problem!

Okay, so, being a club moderator is an annoying thing to be. Okay, so I know this club has kind of been dead, for, like a year or so xD

The main reason I have for this is the lack of attention to the club by our moderators (we're sorry! >.< )

Mostly, because we like to consult each other before we do anything new, but there has been a lack of communication between us, like some people being MIA and unable to contact very much.

But this time I am going to make a decision by myself to + to the club's activity. We want this to be a fun place, right? Yeah!

So my idea is to get the club's members to get to know each other (or at least their OC's!) a bit more.

It will be kind of like secret santa, everyone who wants to participate will put their name in this journal, then when everyone who wants to participate has put their name in, we will draw their names out of a hat, and whoever a person "gets", they will draw that person's +Anima character with their own, having a first encounter!

Idea was based off this excellent deviation by ~KiminoLOVECHARM

Also another thing, we really need those character ref sheets done. Some people have reserved animals in the members journal [link] for months but have not done anything. So, if someone else requests an animal that someone has reserved, that person has one month to finish their character ref or else the other person will be able to use it.

If people get their stuff in, a special week long event to commemorate spring might be coming up, with lots of art trades and collabs etc. Planning is still in progress but you have any suggestions, thats awesome. Seriously, we try not to run this club as a dictatorship, (haha like org-infinity) so if you ever want to suggest stuff or whatever you have THE POWAH! So yeah. Thats cool, but really for people to join in the event, they must be official members of the guild, with their character ref sheets in or else they...can't really...do..anything...yeah.

The Contest:

Dress any or all the charcters from the +Anima manga (not just the main characters) in a traditional halloween costume. Must be coloured, and have at least 1 person in it (no duh). Anything going against the rules of DA will not be considered. Judging will be based on originality, effort, and how well the costume fits! (metaphorically, not if the costume is too big or not)

THE PRIZE IS GOING TO DISNEYWORLD!!!!!!!! No, just kidding. The prize is helping judge the next contest
