Update 09/24/06: Stephan now has access to a computer, though his actual computer has not arived. We now have 19 memebers This is just a reminder that there is only 6 days left in our ID contest! (Info found in contest link above). As it looks it seems no one will win a 12 month PI account renewal.

Update 08/05/06: Stephan will be moving away today so apologies if administration is a bit slow for a little bit, the other admins will be doing the best they can. As of today we now have 16 official members and 2 pending memebers, the club is well underway. To all the new people, welcome

Our first contest is now underway! Check the contest section for details.

Here is where fans of Pony Island and the Arts can come to gather, chat, share art, stories, ideas or simply chill. We are still VERY new and will need a bit of time to set up, but do feel free to check us out.

Please be patient with us while we get everything setup.

How to join:
1. Sent the club a note with the subject “Join”.
2. It is not mandatory to do so, but if you would like simply add the club icon to your journal or shoutbox :icon ponyisland: (but without the spaces).
3. It would be most appreciated if you added a link or banner to us in your PI signature, feel free to use Stephan’s [link]
4. Be sure to add us to your devwatch so you don't miss out on anything :3

Rules:
1. You MUST be a member of PI and DeviantART to join. If you do not have a deviant art account, making one is fun and easy and will allow you to participate on our forums, in our chats, post art/literature and participate in contests. (TRIs who are PI fans ARE allowed to join)
2. All PI rules apply, although we are much more liberal with what you can and cannot write and submit.

There are two ways to have it setup:

1. Send the link of your deviation. When we set it up in the gallery we will disable comments and setup a link to your deviation so that all faves and comments are directed to the original deviation.
2. Or, if you do not want the piece to be in your gallery, upload your artwork to photobucket or any host you wish (I recommend Geocities, you can’t hotlink geocities images, but people can view the links and Geocities won’t make your picture smaller or reduce the quality like other hosts will). We will save the image and upload it to the PI gallery with a link to your gallery and credit to your username, but unlike the first option, favorites and comments will be left open so that people may still fave and comment your works. You only need to host the image long enough for us to save it and upload it to the gallery, then you can delete it.

Literature will work the same way.

Removing Artwork:

If you wish to have one of your pieces removed, note the club with the subject line “Art Removal” and send us the link of the picture you would like removed.

Submission Rules:

1. Your artwork MUST be PI related (this IS a PI club).
2. Your artwork must not contain anything above PG content.
3. Anthro works ARE allowed without cloths as long it is, again, kept to PG.
4. Please use common sense when sending in works.
5. All works must be 100% your own work. If you use stock images you MUST provide credit for the stock. It must be ACTUAL stock, not something you have taken and clamed to be stock. If you can not do this unfortunately we can not post your work. Please remember that taking peoples photography that is NOT labeled as stock is art theft.
6. No art theft. Art thieves will be banned from the club.

Requirements:
1. You MUST be part of the club to participate
2. The Club ID’s max size is 350 x 500
3. It must be 100% your original work
4. It must of course be PI related
5. It must say The Pony Island Club somewhere on it

Try to remember that this is an ID, The entries will be reduced to the top 10 and then you will be able to vote for the winner. There is no limit as to how many entries you may enter, but please spend some time on them, there won’t be much point in entering 10 Ids you spend 5 min on if none of them have enough effort put into them to make it to the top 10. And yes, TRIs ARE allowed to participate in this event.

Entries are due November 1st (that should give you plenty of time, so no asking for extensions)
The winner will win a free 12-month renewal on PI.
