I hope everyone is having a very happy holiday, whatever you celebrate!

So... this journal is kindof a combo of journals I've seen other people doing, which are all a very good idea.

FIRST OFF. The pressies that I got. I'm pretty pleased with this christmas. I got a rediculous amount of money from my grandfather, even more than usual. So. other that I got

-Music- 5 albums (coldplay, arcade fire, kanye west, rihanna, death cab)
-3 games- Sonic Rush (DS), Ace Attourney: Trials and Tribulations (DS), de BLOB (Wii), and I'm going to go buy Assassin's Creed for PC.
-Books- 5 novels about life in africa, which are in preparation for my trip to Kenya this summer, and "Poodle Clipping and Grooming" which had excellent reviews, some people called it the Poodle Bible. Neeka's gonna look pretty this year!
-Movies - Chicago, Airplane II (WOOT), Monty Python- the best of John Cleese... oh, and some popcorn <3
-24 Polychromos pencil crayons *SQUEE*

There's some other stuff... but it's like chocolate and fuzzy socks

SECONDLY. I saw the movie Twilight while I was in Vancouver. Overall, I thought it was average, it was good, but I wasn't raving about it afterward. However, EDWARD IS FUCKING HOT (excuse my language). I actually liked Emmett in the movie, even though I though I wouldn't. Jasper makes me LOL, and I also think Alice was pretty damn hilarious.
Favorite scene: baseball, all the way

OK. THIRD OF ALL. A little appreciation for all of you. Especially for those of you on my little friends list down thar at the bottom.

I adore all of you. Your comments make being on here worthwhile. I'm not just gushing, it's true. If you guys weren't around, I would never have stuck around! I would do special mentions.. but it would seriously take like 3 hours to type out what I want to say to all of you. But I really appreciate the comments, even if I don't say it. I read them all, and I try to reply to them all.

Everyone on my little friends list is getting their own gift, if I can find their OCs.

I just got back from a 10 day canoe trip from school. I deleted all journals and deviations so if you have anything important to tell me, note me plz ( I had about 150 deviations and like 120 journals *fail*)

I went rock climbing on real rock! It was so much fun, I highly recomend it!

Updates on my daddeh!
So, in case you done know, my dad has esophageal cancer, he's had it for a while (since march) he's finished his chemotherapy, and he still has hair! (w00t!) Sooo... he had some imaging done, and it worked great! So they're gonna take a better look at him, and they might do an operation to remove the rest of it, maybe not, but regardless, the doctors are very happy with how he's doing.

so anyway! yayyyy!

I'll miss you all, and if you post a ref of any pf your characters by Sunday, I'll print 'em off and take then with me. I would LOVE to draw them at camp, I have an uber-xtreme amount of time there, and I would like something to do, so do me a favor and post them.



In other news...
I beat Okami (for Wii) yesterday, hehehe, it took me 35 hours and that's just from this week (I rented it from blockbuster). The final boss took me TWO HOURS to beat. The huge sphere thing? Yeah. I started at 6:00 and finished at 8:00. Now I'm trying to teach my mom how to play. It's hopeless.

First of all, today's date is July 18.

I will be home for about the next week, and then I'm off to camp. I got camp for a month, and there is NO ELECTRICITY! at all. The cooks cook on wood stoves (the cakes suck, they're always burnt). Soooo... don't expect anything from me during that time.


PS. There was this guy with the most extreme mohawk walking down the street in the beaches today. I swear, it was like spiky and jelled... and like a FOOT HIGH! No. I'm not exaggerating at all. Acutally, it was no less that 10 inches. NO LESS.

PPS. I'm feeling all alone on wajas, does anyone else have it? if not.... tell me your email address and I'll send you and invite to sign up.

The doctor was telling me "ok... we just have one shot to give you today" but then my mom was like "HEY! what about this HPV vacine I heard about?" and the doctor shrugged... so I got two shots instead of one... *curses* HOW COULD SHE DO THAT TO ME?!?

MY OWN MOTHER! ohhh... the horror...

they both sucked too. The tetnus booster shot didn't hurt when he was putting it in, but it ached all day and then today too.

That wasn't soooo bad, but the HPV one HURT LIKE *insert swearword of choice*!!!! HOLY MOTHER OF GOD! the doctor was like... I heard this one stings a little....



STINGS A LITTLE? YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!
that was like a frikken bee sting.


hehehhe... now when your doctor mentions HPV you can all hide under the tables...

It's true though. I find shots hurt a lot, maybe more than other people do.



One more thing This actually happened a while ago, but I forgot to say it. I was driving home from Kayla's with my mum, at like 12:00 at night, down Bay St. (which isn't anywhere near the lake, really) and there was this guy on a bike, which wasn't that weird. But he had these ropes tied to his bike, and he was pulling a kayak! It was sooo weird!!!

Anywho, I got a chance to meet *MoonsongWolf today! It was pretty fun, she's awesome, and it was interesting to see some of her sketches and unfinished works. ~oak also came, and we hung out in indigo bookstore for an hour.

After that I picked the dog up from the vet, she was there for 2 days getting her teeth cleaned and some weird lumps removed. We took her home and I guess she didn't have a chance to use the washroom at the vet because she was peeing for like an hour.

Ehmm... excited for my friend's sweet 16 tomorrow... gonna be so much fun...

UGGG!!! i cant believe this. if i could annihilate (yes, spelled right, i checked) one virus in the world, it would be Feline Panleukopenia (feline distemper). Why? I just lost another 3 kittens, 3 FUCKING KITTENS! and they'll will probly be 4 by the end of the day. THis sucks. "another three kittens?" you ask? yeah, this has a happened before. thats the way it works, the whole litter, DEAD! in like two days, they go from fine to stone cold. I hate it I hate it I hate it. yeah, kristina, those kittens, all but one are dead. no, it's one of the black ones. The vet can't even do anything, we took them in yesterday and got the phone call this morning.

Our bathroom hates it too. We have to go and soak everything that came in contact in bleach. and we have to throw out the cat tree. and the marble floor, if it could talk, it would be cursing me to hell and back.

Distemper kills kittens. Bleach kills distemper. Bleach kills marble floor.

Life sucks. So much. I feel like school is getting out of control. I don't know when things are due or anything and theres a shitload of work I should be doing but I haven't gotten around to yet, mostly to prepare for culminating. I'm also missing some textbooks so it's hard to do some of my homework. Its mostly the due dates though. The same geo homework is due two different days. What the hell is with that?

I also feel like I'm being too needy. Especially with my mom. She has so much on her plate right now and I'm just adding to it. It's so bad you can see it in her eyes, she always looks like she's just about to cry. I hate it. I even made dinner on tuesday because I thought it would make her feel better, but it sucked. I didn't make enough so I think it ended up being worse. She's so amazing. Seriously. My mom is a better person than I will ever be. I don't even think she knows it.


Soooo... if you actually read all that, thanks a ton. But things might be going a little slower than normal around here for me, but just bear with me ok? I'm pretty sure this will pass once I feel like I've gotten everything under control.

I wrote most of these in my sketchbook as I went.

-DAY 1~ TEH SKETCH-
Hey Deviant buddehs, missing you all . Our first day was TEH SKETCH! Our taxi brought us to the wrong hotel so we were at this casino. I was pretty relieved when they didn't have a reservation for us. We had to wait for another cab. I guess that was in a "bad" part of town because on one corner there was two guys getting 'checked' by the police and our taxi driver insisted that these two prostitutes were male . Seriously. Our actually hotel was pretty nice though, they had a huge schnouser dog, it was probably the only not-so-sketchy place within like 2 miles.

-DAY 2~ uuhhhh... ITS PRETTY-
It's lookming better today our tour group is really nice and this girl asked if I would room with her because she didn't have anyone there (NO!). But Costa Rica is damn beautiful. I mean, seriously, it's not just patches of niceness, it's like ALL OVER! Even run down parts of town are pretty. Be jealous, tres jealous.

-DAY 3~ CANO NEGRO WILDLIFE RESERVE~
All of the plants here are GIANT, the palm leaves are taller than I am. We went on a boat thing to Nicaragua and became illegal immigrant for a while. It wasn't too hard, their border security was a barbed wire fence that was about 3 feet high. We got about 3m from a Howler Monkey [link] and saw a spider monkey [link] appearantly they're really rare. We also saw the rare Jabiru [link] they're friggin huge! Like 4.5 feet tall! We also saw some lizards, like caimons [link] and emerald baselisks [link] , they're also called Jesus Christ Lizards because they can walk on water.
I learned some cool facts too, turns out iguanas [do you really need a picture? Alright [link] ] are called tree chickens and caimons [above] are called water chickens. Both because the locals used to eat them (yuck) and they taste like chicken!

-DAY 4~ EXTREMO ZIP LINING-
I went zip lining an OMG i've never had more fun in my life. Basically, the cord was between the tops of two different hill/mountains, and we were like 7-8 stories in the air, I think. IT WAS SO MUCH FUNNNN! Huge adrenilin rush, I love that kind of thing, but it was still super fun.

-DAY 5~ not much-
More zip lining, this time with my family (they were to chicken to go yesterday) this is the baby one, the non-extremo. Not much else happen, we were on the bus back to San Hose in the afternoon.

Uhhh.... it's 1:00 am. I'm exhausted. Going to bed now. I'll write up the other journals later

Remember the cat from way back when? Marly? Well it turns out she was having some major issues she was hiding from us. Basically, her uterus was rotting inside her (yeah. I bet you really wanted to know that). But don't worry, she's recuperating great. The vet removed it and it was full of pus and stuff, but I think she's ok now because she's on some antibiotics and the vet said she handled the operation really well. Thank you for all the support, guys, especially Saphie , it was really thoughful of all of you to take a minute and respond.

Taliyah and Radon

• Where did the name of your character come from?
I just like the name Tali, and Radon is an element I got from the periodic table.

• What species is your character and why did you choose that species?
Doggies because I know the anatomy the best, I've got a living model sleeping on the couch!

• What color is your character and why?
Tali is blue-grey because I really like the colour blue but I wanted it to be at least remotely natural or can be converted into natural-looking colours easily.
Radon- Black, white and green. Green for radioactiveness, and white and black are good for contrast.

• What is your characters personality and how does this compare to your RL personality?
Tali is pretty happy, I try to be a happy person in general, but she's really stupid, I wouldn't nessesarily call myself stupid.
Radon is cold and remote, the way I am to people I don't like.

I'm pretty worried she won't take care of them, and the only thing worse than stillborns is when they die becuz you can't take care of them. It's pretty bad. It really sucks to come home to a sick mother cat and some suffocated kittens. Trust me. I know.

Anyhow... I hope it goes alright, it usually does.

3. When she was little, we left the door open and Neeka (my dog) ran away. She came back 15 minutes later. Turns out she just took herself for a walk. It was the probly the one of the scariest 15 minutes of my life.
4. Last year my dad broke 7 ribs when he fell of the ladder comming down from the attic. When I walked in he was just lying oen the floor. He was in the hospital for 2 nights.
5. My life consits of a mixture of meat lasagne, mac and cheese, the dog, my family, and my computer.

Ummmmmmmm.....I'm mostly just bored....

My tablet is breaking, the wired are broken or something, so it randomly turns off and it has to be just right or it doesn't work. It's really tough to do anything.
*UPDATE* My tablet is BROKEN! damn, it was a wiring thing... But no worries, my mom is getting me a new one because she knows how much I use it. I got that one 2 years ago, so I got good use out of it... sigh... oh well, see you in heaven, tablet.

I have like 6 school things right now, oral french test, written french test, french speech, science test, math culmative assignment. I'm actually pretty chill, I should be like dying of stress, but I'm feeling fine. I might be busy in the next little while, or, I might be on even more... who knows.

I got a Wii for Xmas! And my mom got it from shoppers drug mart! Who thought that shoppers would have Wiis? Anyway, so all my relatives came over and stuff, and I wasn't allowed to play on it, I just had to sit there and wait while they talked about some obscure relatives I swear I have never heard of. It was awful! Pure terror! The adults, they have no mercy. Pfft...

So, merry Christmas everyone, happy holidays, have a good whatever-you-celebrate!
