I just realized that the last time I actually did a full proper art project was over a year ago. That makes me very sad. Too much has combined to ninja my time drawing. For one, I'm kind of a WoW addict... add into that that I've been state hopping compulsively, going to college full time and working, and my art time dies.

Still, I've been missing it more and more lately and now that some people here actually have a pulse and have been talking to me I promise I'll start working on stuff again. My computer is sexier now too.

My doodles have been in a new style though, so some of the art I upload may be strange, try not to freak out.

So, I'm just not going to make any references in journals to the fact I'm active and such, because after I say that we find out over the next several months it's a lie.

For now though, I'm back in classes and actually have a Digital Art class, which is good. Hopefully I can pick up some new tricks, but at the very least it's a slot of time set aside for art and someone making me work, so hopefully more pictures I'm actually proud of will be popping up here. To anyone that actually notices when I stop posting and actually misses my art: I'm really sorry about the lack of activity. It's just I don't feel like 90% of the things I produce are good anymore, I'm not sure why.

On the note of things not being good, I entered Clarity in an art show and did NOT place, though the picture that won was awesome, so I was okay with that. Didn't like the third place at all though, it was just embarassing, a part of me died inside.

Random: My puppy Grendel is a personal space invader.

Also Random: I am much to entertained by really simple things. I downloaded DeskScapes the other day off StarDock and have been spending hours just staring blankly at things moving behind my icons. This makes me cry inside.

Well, it's been forever since I actually wrote here. Classes and day to day life will make that happen. Last time I wrote it was on vacation, and here I'm finally almost on vacation again. Hoorah!

Finals are next week, so that's a whole load of stress, fortunately the additional mass of stress and a half has died this past week with most of my projects and papers and such being due. Those dead means I can actually do ART again! I KNOW! It's a miracle.

This summer will likely be fairly busy. Working as usual, and then we've wound up with an old Victorian house that we're going to turn into offices over the summer. Big big project... but it'll be fun.

Oh, and bigger news than all that: I have stopped hiccuping! *knocks on wood* At least for the most part. I have little fits now and then, but yes!

No, really. I went to some hot springs and
such for my birthday on Friday, and since
we were (vaguely) in the area part of the
road trip included passing through San Louis
to see the Stations of the Cross. It was windy,
and evil, but actually very moving despite me
not exactly being a devout Christian. Okay...
not remotely. But you get the idea. Pictures

Personally, I feel the most moving was Station
eleven. Not because I'm morbid or anything,
it just was. Though really Christianity is a bit of
a twisted religion if you think about it. I mean,
look at the whole thing. All the same, looking
at most churches today sort of disgusts me. I
feel sorry for Jesus, that's not what he died for.
Nothing against anyone out there that goes to
an actually decent church. I've just had many
really bad experiences with them.

Midterms are finally over in college, so maybe
'll be able to start doing things other than nebulae
soon, I'd like to get back into some dragons and
horses and all that, but my computer is getting
a bit archaic, so you never know.

All that aside, I'm vanishing until later on
Saturday the 20th, going to find some hot
spring out in the middle of nowhere too far
for technology to reach... including cell phones.

Since I haven't posted a journal in forever,
actually a lot has happened, I suppose. Odds
are I've forgotten a lot of it. It's just how
things are. Most recently I've just been going
to classes, working off and on, and trying
to find another job for when the summer
one ends.

Classes are awesome, which is new. Especially
Psychology, which rocks. Unfortunately, it's not
leaving me with a whole bunch of time, so that's
one of the reasons there's been a major drop in
the art posting area. That and I'm just not happy
with anything I do lately. It just seems like
everything could be massively better, or someone
else already HAS done it better than I could.

As for the subject here, I'm just kind of low
lately. It seems like my existing is making
people go way out of their way, or just irritating
them or something of that nature. And I mean
"people" like my family, friends, or maybe one
should say "friends" at this point. Even when
they're not pissed at me for some reason, it
just seems like I never come first. For
anyone. It's almost of the: "Oh excuse me,
I'm too busy breathing right now to talk to
you," nature. It's not like I'm a needy person
either, if I demanded attention all the time it'd
be different, but... I don't.

Whatever. Either way, hopefully I'll be able
to start posting more lately. Maybe I won't.
I suppose it wouldn't make a difference anyway,
would it?

In other news, I'm still hiccuping, 308 days or something like that.

Also, I'm having a random Phantom of the Opera obsessive fit, though I'm not happy with any of my pictures reflecting this, so you don't get to see them.

I may try making a girl phantom just because I can, and for the heck of it. I don't care if it twists the story muchly, it's my mind!
Edit: M'kay, broke down and did that tonight... I was bored. And the whole computer and the evil that is Myspace has gone into phantom mode too.

Aside from random depression and emotional breakdowns, all is well, and the reasons for those aren't all that important to most, so I won't bother with it.

I finally have my little computer back, I'm so happy. ^-^ And that means I can make pictures again! Other than the scratchboard stuff, even! *dances around*

That aside, I've started work again, and golf, so now that I can finally be a productive bum again I have to not be lazy. -.- What the heck? Either way, I honestly love my job, and that means I have money, which is good, and I ordered a tablet. ^-^ Mom helped me pay, naturally, because I'm kind of... poor, as one would say. Ah well.

Our house is being haunted again, in a super irritating way, but it happens... so oh well. No one's dead anyway. Well, no one in the house that wasn't already. XD No idea why that happens.

*dances around some more*

Oh, and because I feel like being nerdy, if anyone knows how to make journal entries pretty, note me. >_> And how to get Poser files into DAZ.

Side note, if anyone is actually missing some of the crap pictures randomly missing from my gallery, they're in scraps. I took everything that I wasn't happy with and no one else had really faved or commented on and wiped it. It was just taking up good space. *shrugs*

A related thought: I like comments and stuff, hence why I always answer. Makes me kind of sad when I don't get commented.

That's a big part of the reason I'm here, after all. Give me feedback people!

And what would anyone think of me dumping some of my old poetry on here? Or in scraps, anyway?

Yes, I still have the hiccups, 169 days now, still going strong. They get bad off and on, no idea why, as usual, but apparently they stop whenever I have peppermint. Gum works best, and just plain mint kind of does, but... well not as well. Anyway, at least we have a way to make me shut up during class and archery now.

My computer is dead, and this makes me sad. And yes, at this point I pretty much do mean dead, not dying. Dying would mean it still like... had a pulse... now it's just died several times. I can't use my browser all the time, I can't always use instant messengers, there's no way in hell I can run my imaging stuff (it shuts down even with Paint and Photoshop and f-ing WORD,) and the sound is shot. Sooo... yeah... may as well have dial-up and add to the crappyness.

I'm not going to go on about tech support, and shall merely be content with saying OMG THEY CAN BE SO STUPID. Okay, I feel slightly better. Anyway, the computer may be gone sometime in the next week or two, not sure how long for.

I can check DA with a borrowed PDA though.

Still can't find a Wii, which makes me even more sad inside than necessary, if it were possible I would hunt down the person in charge of releasing those and do damage.

Other bad things I don't wanna' go into at the moment.

I need a hug. Or a cookie.

On a lighter note (yes, they exist), while I can't make any digital art right now I am getting to use real art supplies... my first attempt at painting in like a year turned out kind of... bad... considering how I wanted it, but now I'm doing etching, which is fun and I'm kind of getting addicted to. >_> So as soon as I can I'll post some of that on here somehow.

Semester is almost over, finally, I'll miss a couple of the classes but one is just about as stupid as they come... not gonna' miss that. Those who know me know what I'm talking about, those who don't don't care, so I won't go on about it.

Apparently I have a problem reading dates and such though, as I thought a paper was due last Tuesday, so I stayed up really late and all to turn it in the next day aaaaand... it's not due until next week. Blond moment.

Nintendo is a stupid stupid company. Or well I suppose they think they have a plan and are all smart and junk, but if I could find an address to send hate mail to right now, I would. That happens when you get up at like 3 AM to go to town to try to buy a Wii system only to find out that the line was already there for 8:00, and when the truck finally shows with the systems they sent twelve. Twelve systems to a walmart in a town of 100,000. Nice, isn't it? Yeah. Anger.

And I have made a discovery! I suck at Soul Calibur 3 now. Well, actually if I'm going to be honest I've never been good at 3, I just rocked at 2. Mostly because they're on different stations and it confused me with the command change.

Really though, no, it is my birthday. And I plan to spend it... working on crap and taking midterms. I have to finish my midterm paper this morning, so why the heck I'm bothering with this I don't know, and then I get to go to my classes until like 8:30 tonight. Yay.

Tomorrow Ivor is of course working, and Mom's going with him to the other side of the state, so I'd be home alone, but instead I'm going to work... yay.

That's about it. Life's as pleasent as usual... even moreso taking my math class into account... yep.

The fight actually happened at an archery tournament... and at the moment I really am not sure what it's over anymore. Other than that after the main fight he wouldn't flipping drop it and was acting like a two year old. Quotes from fight:

Stepdad: "You need to learn to respect your elders."
Me: "Mhm. Do you know if these arrows went in Mom's case or not?"
Stepdad in a high pitched smartass voice: "Well you know everything, so why are you asking?"
Me: ""I'll respect you when you act like an elder instead of a ten year old."

So yeah, family life is going GREAT. Just in case anyone wanted to know.

A few hours after this argument is when I found the tombstone though, so that made life a bit better.

Mom and I went walking around a cemetery. Is it messed up that I find them cool? Tombstones are awesome. Especially some of the "Woodmen of the World" ones. There are actually a lot of those because a tombstone is part of an insurance package thing with the "Woodman of the World" organization. Fun, huh? Anyroad.

I found a new avatar thing, because actually I stole it off someone. Now I can't remember who for the life of me, but if I find them they get a cookie. Or whoever made it >_>" Wish I could make emotes. It'd be better minus the candycane-ness and plus sharp metal objects, but oh well.

More good-news wise, I got an email from the people I work for today saying they talked to a guy who grows big stinkey plants and I get three. ^_^ I've had a fixation with them since I was little... so that's awesome. They're not actually called big stinkey plants, but you know. It's a "Corpse Flower" or a Morphaphallus something... I think. I'm bad with that Latin name for some reason. I'm having issues with the 3D program lately. Namely I'm going for more detail in small things and so I wind up with this huge yet somewhat simple image that crashes my computer. That's never good.

Ow, I just got bit on the knee by a housefly. What the hell?

Anyway, back to what I was saying. Or rather onto a less random thing. I deleted my first entry to the freespire contest thing because the more I looked at it, the less I decided I liked it, and thus it went bye bye. The new one is different, and not really what I'd had planned origionally, but hey, it turned out cool, I think. Not that I'm going to win anyway, or even qualify, BUT I HAD FUN. I like having goals on occasion, okay? Commissions are fun sometimes >_> I just can't get too specific of a design Iono.

My origional intention with the picture was going to be the two people things facing eachother and having their hands pressed to eachother like it were a mirror or something. I'm probably going to do that in the future just because I can, despite there not going to be a competition at that point. So nyah. OR I COULD DO A DIFFERENT MIRROR ANGLE. *scribbles things in a book* Ideas. >_>

It kind of upsets me that there can only be one featured picture.
