I recently had the idea of seriously doing commissions (paid work), and I'd like to know what kind of price range YOU think my artwork is worth. Be honest! I don't want to name a really high price or something, because then some people might think I'm being pompous - "Ugh, how can he possibly think his art is worth that much?" But I also don't want to literally sell myself short.

I'm thinking maybe $25 for a sketch (which is really all I do), and $30 or so for detailed schematics of something (the more detailed, the higher the price).

The movie was everything I've always prayed for in a Star Trek movie - it had the TOS characters in it, it had awesome f*cking action, excellent character moments, and a good plotline that didn't feel too short or jumbled. Personally, I've always hated bikinis. The name sounds really stupid, I don't think they're very attractive, they don't compliment a woman's figure, and to me, they reek of insecurity and a severe lack of confidence in one's level of beauty. A confident woman KNOWS that she's beautiful - she doesn't need to show off her body in such a lewd and uncomplimentary manner, fishing for admiration from others to bolster her fragile ego. She also doesn't need to wear a bikini just to adhere to foolish, fleeting fads which might disappear tomorrow. Also, one-piece bathing suits are just cuter. ;)

As some of you might know, I'm a film major hoping to be a director some day. I don't have the equipment to make anything, and anything I make wouldn't be released in theatres, anyhow. :XD:

I was able to go to the midnight showing of "Quantum of Solace," mostly because I really REALLY wanted to see the trailer for the new "Star Trek" movie. Speaking as a die-hard(core) Classic Trek fan who's been doubtful about this new movie - I can say that I'm actually looking forward to it now.

From what I've heard, the new movie IS taking liberties with the precious Classic Star Trek that I know and love so well, but it is not erasing any of it. Which is to say, this new movie is more like an "alternate universe" take on Star Trek.

First off, today I got Rick Roll'd by phone! My cell phone rang and the number was "Private," and when I picked it up I heard that blasted song!

After that, my phone rang again, and I got a soundboard prank call - the well-known one of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Again it was from the "Private" number, so I have no idea who did it!

If you value your time and money, DO NOT GO SEE CLOVERFIELD. It's one of the most poorly-done movies I've seen in a LONG time. I snuck into my local theatre (don't tell the cops!!) to see the Star Trek trailer that was at the beginning of the film, and decided to stay for the whole thing. All I can say is, I'm VERY happy I didn't pay for it. Go see something, ANYTHING but Cloverfield. Try "Enchanted" if it's still in a theatre near you. It's better. Much better.

Basically, I'm starting on the 27th of August, and like a lot of other people on dA, that means I won't be able to get online as often as I'd like to, since I'll have my studies to attend to.
