You have all been brainwashed and conditioned into thinking that "WTF" stands for "What the fuck".

This is absolutely preposterous and one hundred percent wrong.

What it really stands for is actually "Way to Fight"!

Notice that "WTF" is used mostly when a person is attacking an enemy and another person comes along and finishes off this enemy. Now, contrary to popular belief, this person is far from mad! This kill was not stolen, it was accomplished in a most fantastically satisfying way! Which is why it is usually followed by the said acronym.

This person was so impressed by the other party's show of force that they just had to interject "way to fight" before continuing on with whatever adventure awaits them.

I hope I have helped clear the mist shrouding the truth behind this most perplexing befuddlement of "WTF".

Currently I'm out and about from like 8am to 6pm and when I get home I'm to beat to do anything. I've been writing, but no new arts to speak of as of late.

Someone seems to think that a good way to "challenge" players is to waste their time. No, it is not. Point of fact, it's not a challenge at all - it's just annoying and makes me not want to play your game anymore. As a beta, it's free, so I wouldn't complain too much, but if you expect people to actually pay money for this, you need to not waste people's time.

Quests sending you back to areas that you are over-leveled for and can't get anything out of are a waste of time.

Reaching the end of a Mission Map and running out of potions / having your weapon break / other stupid menial drudgery and not being able to get more without quitting is a waste of time. You can argue that keeping repaired and stocked is a valuable part of the game, but it's really not. It's tedium. And having to redo an entire Mission Map for a stupid reason like this is really tedious. The concept of Mission Maps that require half an hour to complete and must be done all at once is flawed to begin with, though.

Being unable to take more than 7 quests so you have to kill the same monsters half a dozen times instead of doing it all at once is a waste of time.

Having stupid jumping puzzles in the middle of a dungeon is a waste of time.

There are other things, these have just been the things that annoy me the most.

We're here to get phat loot, leet chars, and destroy baddies. Anything that prevents us from doing these things is a waste of time. It is not challenging, it is annoying. Annoying your customers is a really poor business decision.

After showing him some of the rough sketches I made to help illustrate what I was describing, he tells me it sounds a lot like this new steampunk MMORPG called "NeoSteam" from Atlus.

The background to the game is so fucking similar to what I had in mind that I was sitting there feeling like there was a pit in my soul for over an hour.

"In ancient times, the races of Chrysalis enjoyed lives of luxury in a world where science and magic harmoniously coexisted. The Pom, a race whose inquisitive minds and nimble fingers gave them a natural inclination for engineering, created many useful machines."

Before deciding on Skorpae, Chrystae was my intended world's name. The background to the whole story is a steampunk environment with magicks and steam-tech coinciding. My Marrak characters are the "inquisitive minds and etc engineering" (I'd show you the cool deviations people made for the concepts but two of them left dA) and they were also banished to an island by "The Guardians" who feared they would try to wrench control of the world away from their corrupt hands. Yadda yadda yadda, decline of civilization rebirth of nations who are at war, etc.

"Helpful creatures lend a hand throughout the journey. Not only is every player's adventure enhanced by a unique pet of their choice, but there are also a variety of mounts, ranging from magical beasts to mechanized vehicles."

All the people in my world have elementals which are bound to them at a certain age via a ceremony that everyone goes through and they assist them with everyday life. They range from little rats to giant golems, biological and mechanical. All of which have some elemental power/alignment. Some are obviously stronger than others.

The have an image of a Golem when you look at Computer Specs that looks EXACTLY LIKE MY GOLEM DESIGN.

Lupine are a direct quote from my brief background I gave them (Mine were, at the time, called Raq'quan and Pom are obviously Marrack) The Tarune "left the alliance to strengthen their homeland and to ensure that the other nations are not upsetting the balance of nature" which is essentially what I had my un-named feline race doing.

They even have an "Alliance" of races, which is exactly what I have for my Humans/Elf/Dwarf background.

All of it makes me go "Who the fuck stole my notes". I really think someone saw one of my old submissions, or notebooks, or that old site where my friends and I attempted to make this current "book" into a game in the first place.

Stress.

Drawing and writing have always been my stress outlet. Just living with my parents and the drama of highschool made me want to do the shit all the time.

Right now I really want to draw but I can't because I just don't feel the urge to do so. I want to but I can't because theres no purpose other than because I want to.

I've forced myself to stop caring about pretty much anything in the past couple years and that unfortunately has been taking a toll on my artistic portion of my life.

I'm gonna work on getting the drive without stress but its kind of irritating that I can't without it.

Welp, I've absolutely no luck in finding a job and I've been at it for little over a month and a half. I've applied at many places and only heard back from one or two and utterly failed at one of the more prospective interviews.

I'm looking for some temp agencies at the moment. I'm hoping they prove to be a little more fruitful than my personal search.

Whats really interesting is the fact that I'm fairly certain that I'm well qualified for the vast majority of the jobs I've applied for. All the way from menial food-service work to corporate business environ work. As a person people take to me quite easily, yet for some reason the job aspect of myself is ugly as sin to these people.

Ugh...

Anyways, other than all that I haven't really been doing anything art related. The stress of the job hunt has put me back into my insomnia mode, which I recently found out is how I deal with stress. I never knew that I ever felt stress, but I was always a bit of an insomniac until I moved from my parents house. And now its back. Great.

Wow, went off topic there. Umm... So yea, no art to speak of other than a few personally thought excellent ideas towards my writing. I've been helping moderate an SA:MP server owned by some friends. I've read quite a few books in the past few weeks.

Uh.. Not much else to mention I don't think. Although I think I may have a mild case of ataraxia. I don't say I have it due to the apparent stress factor, but otherwise it fits my description rather nicely.

Buhhh... Apparently Nine Inch Nails is done. Reznor said after this latest tour he's done. No more NIN. At least for a while. Indefinite, he didn't say he was done for good. Honestly, I don't give a rats ass about it except for the fact that my roommate is more than obsessed with Reznor. Her life's dream was/is to tour with NIN. She's a bit depressed for the time being and theres really nothing I can do to help except try not to make her cry, heh.

A dA buddy of mine was just in a funk due to a friend of his committing suicide and he didn't take them seriously enough to really do anything about it. Not his fault, how could he have known?

But anyways, after giving him my sympathy and an explanation as to why I know what hes going through... I get a call the night before last. Well it was early morning, around 4am. On the line was a very good friend of mine who recently moved to Florida for college, whom I've known since I was a kid (not many friends like that being an Army brat and all). We caught up real fast and I could tell something was troubling him by the way he was talking... He started talking to me about past events and better times in both our lives. Reminiscing, really. I asked if there was anything wrong or if there was something he needed to talk about and responded as "No, I'm fine. I just had the urge to talk to an old friend". After the usual "You sure?"s and everything we finally said goodbye to each other and I went back to sleep and thought nothing of it.

At around 8am this morning I got a call from his mother telling me he had shot himself. It apparently happened shortly after I had gotten off the phone with him...

I... I'm not dealing with it very well... I haven't been able to cry in a very long time, yet I feel like I'll explode if I don't... I'm hoping that writing this will make me feel a bit better, writing usually does that for me... I haven't been able to talk since I heard about it. Like, I want to say something but my body wont let me form words...

I'm gonna pop on some music and chill for a bit.

But, um.. Anyways if you were expecting stuff from me sometime soon you might be waiting a little longer than I originally intended.

I was driving to the local grocery store about a mile from my parent's house. I believe its a safeway, I never really pay attention to that stuff...

Anyways, as the light turns green I inch out of the lane and check to make sure there are no crazy fucks running the light (it happens a lot at this intersection, my friend was hospitalized once).

And sure enough here comes a giant fucking Semi truck hauling two trailers of fuel apparently going to the Shell just down the road. It runs the red light facing it while blaring its deep and ominous horn.

I had to swerve into the oncoming traffic lane to avoid this jackass and luckily I didn't get hit by anyone. Its then that I notice the driver of the Semi looks scared shitless.

I glance at the rest of the truck, and to my horror, the first trailer is half consumed in flames.

I think I went into shock for a second because by the time I came to my senses it was pulling into the Rite Aid parking lot escorted by a few cop cars. The smell of the burning petrol finally got my brain thinking, holy shit I'm in the blast radius and I immediately throw my car into reverse and drive into the Albertson's parking lot.

That's my near death tale for the year. I'll back up this story with a news article as soon as its posted online.

Unfortunately no drawings as I haven't been able to actually draw anything I like for like six months... But I do have some awesome photographs coming in.

AND for the first time I'll be submitting some Literature deviations. I don't know if any of you will actually read them, but I hope you will.. I've been working on a novel for the past three years and I finally have the courage to post a fragment of the prologue to see how people like my writing.

I've been told I'm talented, but I've never really liked my own writing. Hopefully you'll be the judge of it for me...

Its up to her/her guardians. I honestly don't think most people can make proper choices until they're 17-19 years old so whatever their guardians feel is best.

No. 19, yes. 18, no. From a biological standpoint, the human brain doesn't stop physically growing until around age 19. Until then I feel kids shouldn't touch the shit at risk of damage. Once at the "stopped growing" point and you've learned most of what you're going to learn in life it should be fine.

I hung out with :iconprawst:, , , , :iconpookey :, , , , :iconassbutt :, :iconSkeeter :, and a ton of other people who I never managed to get their FA or other info.

First day was a bit slow but we did dance a shitton; during which Prawst destroyed the floor, his own nuts, and his own chin (Did you ever get it checked out for stitches?); and 7 of us piled into AssButt's tiny freaking car and drove to her house, people were in laps. In the parking lot with the 7 of us we bottomed out on a speedbump. We were really loud and riled up and ticked off AssButt's relative of some sort and freaked out her brother and his friends when we climbed through his room to enter the house. But what happened earlier... There was an epic SECRET PANEL and a really awesome Prawst-led panel of Shoops which will soon be on youtube, I'm sure. I really can't remember anything else that happened that day other than the trip to Denny's with Prawst, Azure, Aesop, Falcon, AssButt, Atomsk, and myself where we almost got thrown out due to Atomsk's racist humor. Oh and we learned about boobs from Tiger Black.

On Saturday we piled back into AssButt's car and drove back to the con at like 11am. I can't remember what happened until the Ferret panel and I think we may be getting a ferret now. After was the Pictionary Panel which is where we bumped into Skeeter for the first time. After which he was a regular in the Prawst Posse. Anyways, Prawst ended up to hosting the panel because the original host evaporated and I had to run to another room and jack a Dry Erase marker. It was funny shit. Horrible drawings (in more than one way) and the Left side (Mostly containing Prawst Posse members) raped the Right side of the room. We all took three different cars afterwords and took a trip to Wendy's. Aesop and Azure's car (which was following Aesop's) got lost while following a dumbass Nav system that tried to get us to go to the Wendys in the Airport rather than the one down the road. So obviously everyone in Skeeter's car, who went the right way, was early. On the way back we cut someone off and jumped into the Wendys really fast which caused Azure to cut the same person off in order to follow us into the parking lot and took the turn so fast that Prawst damn near fell out of the car. Oh yea, they were all standing out of the top of the car holding an "Elect TIM PROBST" with the Tim and B crossed out. We all ordered our stuff from the clerk who was freaked at seeing a good 10 or more people coming in at a time well after normal "rush" hours. Whole we were there... Atomsk decided it was a good idea to make really fucking racist jokes while saying nigger many times and there were some black thugs there that we thought were gonna shoot us. Does that count as a near death experience? Eventually we got back to the con and went to an art jam til like 1 or 2am. Prawst and AssButt spent the majority of the time drawing hilarious shit in people's sketch books and I spent my time spreading the good word of GYOOOOOO!!! And drawing things that were apparently Jhonen Vasquez-ish. That night I chilled at Aesop's house.

SUNDAY... I don't feel like writing anymore and I didn't do much that day except attend STORMCOCK CON 1.5 2008.

Fun times. If you missed out, you suck.

Anyone using Google Chrome? [link]

I really like it so far. It has all the functions of FireFox and actually imported all the features I had for my FF when installed. Its also lightning fast on my computer. The only problem I've had so far is on pages with multiple animated images. They load like that *snaps* but all of them running at the same time makes the browser run slow til you switch pages.

And you all better damn well know it or you obviously don't know shit about me.

Well I've recently been drawing for the first time in... fuck... God knows when. Its a lot more therapeutic than I remember. I wish I had started again a long time ago.

I've been living in Oregon for over a month now and I still have yet to find a damn job. Its quite irritating. I've applied everywhere within like a 20 mile radius and I've only had a positive reception from very few. And I've had interviews with even less. Its getting ridiculous. I'm about to take a fast food job if i don't start getting some serious feedback.

Anyways, due to that and the fact that I have absolutely no cash to do shit and that I may not be able to move in with Ash and whoever else due to financial problems and they're renting the rooms willy-nilly I've been very stressed.

The drawing was very nostalgic and soothed my nerves quite a bit. I'll definitely be doing more.

As for other events... My roommate and I cut our hair today. She went from about just at the shoulder length hair to VERY short, faux-hawk short. And I went from past shoulder not quite arm-pit length to... *drumroll*.... SKIN.

If you're anyone thats anybody (as in you have my phone #) I've already sent you a picture text with the results and this wont come as a shock to you. For those of you who have met me IRL probably know how much of a kick in the teeth that is. Its interesting to get used to. My other roommate Keeps making faces when he sees my head and says I look like an old man, haha.
