I just got back fron the KYA (Kentucky Youth Association) today. OMG, it's SOOOO awesome. what you do there is you write bills you want to get passed to become laws in the state of Kentucky. You get to ask the bill authors non-debateable technical questions for two minutes about their bill. After that you give a 1 min. pro OR con speech telling why you like or dislike the bill. After that you vote on the bill. If it gets passed by the senate and the house, it is either signed or vetoed by the KYA govorner. It sounds really boring but you have to be there. Everybody has tons of fun.

The bad news is that while I was at KYA I came down with this chest cold and I feel horrible and really tired and drama tryouts are tomorrow! The good news is that the person I'm trying out for is really old and I might actually have to sound the way I do with all this coughing, AND I got to miss the rest of school when I came home at 2:15 to sleep!

As we all know, not everybody has the same opinion and some people are really touchy on some subjects, and I mean REALLY touchy. There was a bill at KYA about giving homosexuals the same rights as heterosexuals. I other words, the bill authors wanted to make gay marriage legal. My friend, being christian, totally HATED this bill while the other 3 people in our room are all for it. I have nothing against bi/gay people so I didn't know what to think & I was just stuck in the middle. It literaly split our room in half. There was so much yelling and arguing I wanted to crawl into a hole and die just so I could have a moment of silence. But it all worked out in the end (the bill got defeated), and we're all friends again.

Now it's time for something funny! We always go to Gattiland after KYA is done to eat luch and celebrate. I played that bowling game almost the whole time and I'm really good at it so now one of the popular kid thinks I'm a proffesional at it. o_0
One of the prizes you can get is this round squishy thing that has this weird goo inside of it so when you squeeze it the goo shows through and changes the thingie's color. Me and my friend were sitting there playing with our squishy things and she said while I was smushing mine, "Watch it pop next time you do that." a little bit later she was sitting there squeezing hers and I see a whole lot of this blue stuff come out her squishy thing and ark over my lap and land in the area in front of the emergency exit on the bus. She wasn't even doing anything with it besides squeeze it , and that's what its meant to be used for. Anyways we started cracking up and started guessing spots where mine would pop.
