Anyway senior year!! Wooo! I'm having sooo much fun at school this year!

I also have a boyfriend who's rather awesome(and one of the reasons I don't update here as much as I should..oops!)

Actually the two of us are planning a collab! A monster and its rider..gonna be really amazing and dsmdkljklgjkldg frikkin cool. With the scary and the monster-ness. Yes.

I missed school today. sigh. I have a cold! It's not fun

so I've been sitting at home doing art. Which is fun :3

Here's an email my mom sent about one she got from my brother (who is in on a canada/alaska trip with mamaw)

It made me laugh so I thought I'd share:

"Below is an email we received from Aaron. Today they went ziplining thru the Alaska Rainforest Sanctuary. They went on 6 different ziplines all at treetop level and across ravines. At one point they were 300 feet above the ground. They also had to cross two swinging bridges. Most of you know of Mamaw's fear of heights. Aaron was not helping and was shaking every possible wooden platform and bridge he could to scare her.. Evil Aaron.

I must preface his email by telling you the ordeal we all had to go thru to make the ziplining excursion possible. Everyone from the travel agent, the excursion booking agent and the cruise agent neglected to catch the fact that they would need a guardianship release form from me for Aaron on these dangerous excursions. So, our medical release form did not do the trick. So, today I had friends over in the pool and we just happened to get out of the pool when my phone rang. Aaron said I needed to get a fax from the Rainforest Sanctuary, sign it and fax it back within 20 minutes. It was a NIGHTMARE.. We only have the ability to accept faxes thru email, so I had to upgrade our service to be able to fax out. During my panic to upgrade, their fax machine stopped working. They were on the phone with me, holding up two busses full of tourist waiting for us to get this release form to them. Otherwise, they were not going to let them go. Finally, as we were scrambling around and time was out, I convinced the very nice tourguide to let them get on the bus, we would get the fax to the office and the office could call him when they received it. They agreed but warned us that if they didn't get it, Mamaw and Aaron would be sitting at the bus for 3 hours.

Mamaw said the ziplining was most scared she has EVER been. She said it was an amazing adventure, but was terrifying. Aaron LOVED it.. Here is his email.

'The zipline was definitely worth the trouble we had to go through. Mamaw was scared, I was shaking the platforms and bridges the whole time. We do have picture proof, but unfortunately we forgot to bring the camera to take a video. The weather has been a bit dreary (according to mamaw) but i like the cold very much. our room is colder than outside (also according to mamaw). Mamaw is glad that the food is free because she wouldnt be able to feed me otherwise. The food is actually really good. We have seen plenty of mountains so far, and taken many pictures. We also saw a lot of eagles in ketchikan (sp). We should see plenty of glaciers tomorrow. Please forward this to anyone else who cares.'

I must share something else Mamaw told me. She had trouble stopping her zipline with the handbrakes for her landings on the platform so a nice young man would have to grab her across the chest everytime to stop her. She later told one of the girl workers that the man now knows her bra cup size.. The girl laughed so hard and said "well, at least you gave him a thrill for the day.." Mamaw told her "Honey, I am quite sure there was nothing thrilling about it..!" "

"Many of us became concerned with Mamaw's state of mental health about 3 weeks ago. Now she has always exhibited some strange and peculiar behaviors. Any of us who have sat with her at 1) a grandchild's sporting event, 2) a Mavericks playoff game, 3)a Cowboy's game or 4) ridden with her in a vehicle, know that Mamaw can can be more fun to watch than a tourrette's syndrome patient at the County Fair. But this phone call was different, it was a frantic message, and it "raised a flag" of concern.

Three weeks ago I received a message on my mobile phone from Mamaw that was alarming. She was screaming possible curse words at a decibel level consistent with a Southwest Airlines takeoff. The words she used were vile, sharp, pointed and directed at me. Blaming me for not "being there when she needed me" and questioning my level of son ship. These harsh words were interspersed with shrieks. Inhuman shrieks that would make a Nazi War Criminal blink.

I called her back as soon as I could. She spun a tale so wild, so unbelievable, so incredibly ridiculous that I became concerned about her. While visiting Bear's grave site, she claimed to have been attacked by the Swan. The Swan that we have all had a good laugh about. The Swan who is the mascot for Restland. The majestic white creature who calmly swims the creek to promote happiness and serenity. That Swan attacked her.

Mamaw said the Swan approached her on land, before she left her car. The Swan blocked her path from her car to the grave site. The Swan was after her. She tried to scare the Swan, but to no avail. The Swan "barked" at her and tried to bite her. The Swan continued to stay between Mamaw and the grave site like the Black Knight guarding the bridge. "None shall pass".

I obviously doubted her story. In fact Kimberly and I had a good laugh over the story--While, of course, in the back of our minds wondering if Mamaw was in need of major help.

Today, while visiting the grave site with Mamaw, we were approached by the Swan. Actually we walked up to the Swan as it was scaring away all of the other creatures in the pond. As Mamaw and I approached, the Swan turned it's Satanic eye towards us. I could see pure evil. There was a complete absence of Good. It's intent was to harm. This is not a good Swan, but an evil Swan. The Swan begin to paddle towards us all the while keeping it's head turned to the side so it's evil eye would not lose track of us, much like Jarod approaching a table of appetizers at a restaurant.

As we approached the edge of the pond, it began to "lash out" at us. I'm fairly certain it was speaking an ancient language known only to the Necromancers. The thing struck at me like a Cobra. If not for my catlike reflexes, I could have been injured, possibly maimed. This is one angry fowl. I continued to taunt the Swan, and the White Beast continued to hiss and strike with great furor.

If not for the glass windows in the mausoleum next door, I would have struck the great bird with the rock I carried for protection. We were concerned someone in the mausoleum might have been watching as the altercation was taking place.

Mamaw's earlier story was vindicated. Today we both faced certain peril in the form of the Swan.

We walked back to our separate cars. Shook, scared and suspecting what was Restland thinking when they unleashed this horrible animal on the unsuspecting public?

My apologies to Mamaw for questioning her earlier story (and questioning her mental faculties)and a stern warning to future visitors: Beware of the Swan."

Some of them won't leave me alone! I mean, scad sending me a ton of crap every week is understandable, I visited and applied already.. But then Rice has sent me 7 different packages and like who knows how many emails on BOTH email addresses! Yeesh. lol even though I'm most likely NOT going there I'll check it out anyway so they'll stop telling me 'WE HAVEN"T HERD BACK FROM YOU '

lol. I wish colleges would talk about me instead of them hahahaha now THAT would make me wanna go there. Cause seriously, all colleges are gonna say they have the best of whatever but if they make ME sound awesome..I'm gonna check that out lol

Anyway I'm tired

Oh yeah we took bear to the dog park today!!

HAahahahah there were some absolutely nutty labs there..I mean this one got so hyper when he was running he like lost control of his legs and they were flailing all over the place(picture like marmeduke after drinking caffeine or something)

Poor dog, he's been cooped up in our little back yard the whole time we've been trying to sell the house because we've been so busy fixing everything up! Heehee he was a little out of shape but it was cute, he made a lot of people friends instead of just chasing and sniffing other dogs the whole day. :] everyone loves our baby boyyy<33333

I also just found out we're going to get my aunt and uncle's cat Baby Kitty(lol isn't the name unique?) because my cousin is so allergic he won't come home anymore. What a baby ahaha.

Oh yeah, moving. Just to another part of the same place we're in now. :] The house is WAY cool though..We share a fence with the next door horse ranch!! YEAH!
the backyard is a nesting place for peregrin falcons..so we have to make sure the kitties stay inside!

Our new house would be awesome for mom's photography business as well..it has a seperate door to an area of the house which has a bathroom and two large rooms(so they never have to go into our house, it's too unprofessional to make business right now) that we could use as her office and studio.. It also has like 6 parking places like, in front of the house!

It's smaller than our house now..But honestly, I'm moving out in a year so it should be ok for the rest of them :]

It's in a gorgeous neighborhood too, most of the houses are like, obviously worth multiple millions.. We got one of the cheaper ones in the neighborhood which is almost always good, it means anything we do to make it better can only raise the value of the house more! (instead of the best house on a crappy block..no one wants to buy that!)

So yeah

Oh yeah monday I visit tcu haha so I'm missing another day of school(Was sick friday)

Oh yeah on my way home. It's so beautiful here! SCAD seems really cool, it's definatly different than the usual college experience since it's all spread out instead of having a campus..But we had a great chat with two of the sequential art teachers and they really made me feel comfortable and excited about possibly going here

Jordan's on the train to ringling right now..hahah she left at 4 am geez

Anyway I'm gonna stop at this art store called Primary on the way to the plane :] we stopped by just too late yesterday and it was closed

Oh yeahahaha we ate at 'lady and sons' that paula dean restaurant..I swear even looking at the food makes you gain 30 pounds XD!

I'm feeling confused? Yes. No? Oh well.

Lots of advice about different things from different people. A lot of conflicting advice too :/

It's weird cause I'm not sure...what I should go with? Hmmm..All from my closest friends and I trust all of them.. but it's strange to be told such different things from all the people I know haha. You'd think one way would be right but then you wonder how everyone else could be so far off..

Mmyes I know I'm being vague. But it's issues about a lot of things that I'd rather not trouble you with <3 they aren't big deals but~ just seem like it?

Ohh yes I just started watching psyche :] funnnn.

OHhhh yes I also saw the live version of Sweeney Todd which was, by the way, incredible. 10 people on the stage did everything! The singing, acting, speaking, AND music! Instead of having an orchestra pit they had the people on stage--when they weren't 'in the scene' they were in the back playing instruments or singing the chorus. All completely memorized and done in character! Really good.. Haha and since when Sweeney killed someone they couldn't just leave the stage they'd give the person a a bloody white coat so they could still play but you'd remember they were dead... The singers were incredible too! I'm hooked on like all the songs.. I couldn't get over the fact that Sweeney looked like my math teacher though...and Mrs. Lovett even called him Mr. T at one point..so I keep picturing my math teacher going around randomly slashing throats..Hmmm.. Yes. Odd.
Oh for those who saw the movie--look up the song 'kiss me' from sweeney..It was only in the play as silly as the song is! Hahaha the poor girl won't stop talking while Anthony(who I blame for everything) is just standing there raising his hand like 'HEY I HAVE A PLAN LISTEN HEY PLAN HERE YEAH PLAN ME PLAN" ahaha. And she's not listening. Of course.

So I have school today~ Hmm. I should go now :]

I hate when I get overly emotionally involved! I have a habbit, even if I'm not in the conversation or comment war, to get so into the topic that each word just hurts me even when it's not intended for me specifically. I guess it hurts the worst when it's a religious debate, I hate when people make all christians sound horrible and make fun of our religion

It hurts, that is the closest thing to my heart someone can hit and everyday someone attacks it. I've done my best not to attack other people's religions or lack of religions, I have friends of all kinds, you know? I just don't like the anger involved with so many people... I know there are people who aren't really christian..You know, those radicals everyone sees and thinks all christians are like that. I can't stand it.. Don't judge God by his worst followers. I mean.. Seriously. Yeah some 'christian' preachers have done horrible horrible things in the name of our shared religion. But hey some muslim people have done terrible things, KILLED people.. But I have tons of muslim friends, i can tell the difference between the radicals and the regular people

it just really hurts me, guys.. People treat me different because I'm christian and have laughed at me. It hurts worse than anything, you could call me a fat ugly ____ over and over and it would never hurt as bad as attacking my faith, ok?

Whatever, like I said. Those comments I just read weren't intended for me but they still hit me pretty hard.

Anyway, thanksgiving was pretty good. There was some major stress going on though but no drama. A little bittersweet though

I got a charm from my Bear's necklace, it's the eagle I used to chew on as a baby while I was teething. It's still so strange that he's gone. I've had a few dreams about him lately, all very clear.. Usually he's talking about Mamaw, sometimes my mom. I'm getting better though, especially considering I'm able to talk about it now. So yeah : )

But also! Wonderful news! We just found out the gender of my cousin's(the one who's married) baby!!! It's gonna be a boy like I thought!

I'm so excited, I adore little baby boys! I can't wait to go down to florida in April and see the little guy <3

I've gotten farther in twilight princess! I'm at the snowey place now! Pretty exciting!

I love going to choir. I really love going to choir when there is amazingly sexy art around the halls outside.

Now, to clear up some confusion people seem to be having. When I use 'sexy' to describe something it doesn't necessarily mean 'Wow! That reminds me of sex' it just basically means it pwns, rocks, is awesome, etc. It's just more fun to say. Sexysexysexysexysexy. Hmmyes.

Anyway yeah. Oil paints. Amazing. REALLY incredible...~ I need to work with oils..They can come out so pretty ): !!!!

Today was national portfolio day~! WOO. That was so much fun...

I got some great feedback! It was interesting seeing the different biases each schools had--one school loved certain images while another said they wouldn't consider it at all.

I did get some nice critiques but i liked the fact that a lot of these people seemed to like have confidence in me or something--like it felt like they wanted me there and were actually helping instead of merely pointing out flaws and they knew I could fix these things

very cool

Next time I'll definatly bring more sketches--the one thing everyone said was they liked my line work and even in my colored pieces the way I 'drew' the image really stood out.

Ringling liked a lot of my digital stuff

and one guy(forgot which school) was very very interested in the picture I did without any under drawings or lines!

>w< I think the ones that got the most praise...weerrre... My figure drawings, the 'let your hair down' image, my new illustrator piece, and my collagraphs!

It was funny though.. Some of the schools advice was like total bogus while others were great. I won't be going to the bogus schools hehehe.

Anyway it was a good day but my feet hurt!

anyway in other news

I'm exhausted for no apparent reason.. I haven't changed anything, been getting normal amount of sleep and my dance class hasn't gotten like too difficult or anything like that but just like BAM today my whole body feels sore and ughhhhh *twitch*

Heres the thing

MIGHT open commissions soon or something. I don't expect a lot(actually I don't expect any) but I couple people had mentioned that I should and so I decided hey why not

If I do this...It would be a little different XD.. My parents are a little iffy on paypal so it would probably be another payment thing 8[ like mail or something..mom keeps saying something about emailing but I don't know anything about that.

Anyway if you did buy my stuff my mom is a photographer and uses a really nice company that creates excellent prints so if you wanted one(they have some really sexy shiney metallic paper too) that'd be available XD

Since I can't technically do prints on DA since I'm not 18 if anyone wanted one of my pics it'd have to be run the same way--just note me and I'll get mom to order a print XD

Uhm...... Again. Probably not doing this unless I actually get a RESPONSE which I don't expect just yet
