ERRRMMM. I have not much to say, but I just wanted to get rid of that really long meme journal. That was stoopidly long.

I am back.

I took a lot of pictures while in London, so I'll try to...do something...with them. Just cause.

Unfortunately, I didn't do anything Potter related in London besides reading fanfiction and seeing somebody on TV making fun of Rupert Grint (Ron, for y'all who have been under a rock for the past... I dunno...since 2001).

Also, I found out that British people should never do Southern accents. Ever.

One highlight of the trip was seeing West End musicals. I almost saw Wicked a third time, but opted out upon contemplating 'Defying Gravity' with a British accent. So instead, we saw Billy Elliot and Lord of the Rings.

Billy Elliot...is amazing. Whoever choreographed that show should win every Tony award EVER. For all U.S. Americans out there, Billy Elliot takes place in Scotland in the 80's, when there were big mining strikes. Billy is a kid who accidentally joins a dance class and discovers that dancing is his total passion in life. There is much cursing about this, which made me infinitively happier than I should have been. He also has a gay best friend, and they have a very spiffy tap number about boys wearing dresses. It's quite hilarious. On the other hand, I really did cry a few times.
Of course, during the performance I saw, the were technical difficulties. Of course.
But, it was also the 300th performance, which was amazing. They had the other three kids who play Billy come out and do a one time only AMAZING dance routine. AMAZING.

And LOTR...it was a joke. I mean, the costumes, choreography, and set were fantabulous...but the story, music, and acting sucked. I guess the story part couldn't be helped...but the music was far too loud, dramatic, forgetable, and it really served no purpose to the show. Blech. The acting...? BOR-ING.

However, we also saw Romeo and Juliet at the friggin' SHAKESPEARE'S GLOBE THEATER!!!!!!! (Shakespeare fans fangasm - all else wonder WTF the theater has to do with anything.) The globe was designed by Shakespeare himself, and rebulit after his death and its initial destruction in a new location by the Thames. It's beautiful, and they still sell seats where you can only stand up, which is a real pain in the ass (well, foot) as we found out during the first half hour of Midsummer Night's Dream. So we left and got some lunch.
With Romeo and Juliet, we had the foresight to get seated seats. But, we got there late (during the famous balcony scene), which was a total drag. However, we were there for the rest, which was completely splendiforous. I fell in love with them all over again. And I managed to miss that one fairy queen speech, which was super awesome. I hate that thing, it's a total trip.

Other than that, we did touristy things (Big Ben, House of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, rode a double decker, Stonehenge) and shopped (but only for "anything we couldn't get in America," which was, not surprisingly, pretty much nothing but the cheese.)

Wow, I have Love in this Club stuck in my head for no reason. I hate that song. The video's a total trip.

So anyway, I await our gift exchange, E! Make sure to bring the Twist! (Lol, that would be so funny - us in the middle of the dance floor doing the Wizard Rock Twist, my drama friends looking on going "WHAT THE FRICK IS M AND THAT ASIAN KID DOIN????")

No, really, though. Bring music you wanna dance to. Knowing you, though, you'll show up and be like, "Eh, all I had was nerd music and stuff that pre-dates 2005, so I didn't bring anything."

Anyway, the part that made the least sense to me was my friends' post-movie reactions. Every single one of them went out and bought the SOUNDTRACK.

Now, my friends and I aren't illegal immigrants. We aren't even legal immigrants. We're white/asian, middle class, and old enough to know that our parents know this music and own it.

So why, then, did my friends buy the movie soundtrack (which doesn't even have all of the Beatles' best songs in it) instead of getting those songs and more for free? I mean, hello? Eleanor Rigby? Here Comes the Sun? At least they have Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite and I am the Walrus. But come on, 31 tracks is not enough to know the Beatles. I have at least six of their albums on my iPod. My dad has all of their CDs.

It's just a waste of money, you know? And the actors aren't even that great of singers. and they changed some lyrics, which is a bug no-no when it comes to these songs. The lyrics are what made them really special. Well, that and their British accents.

American actors? Yeah, no accents.

So, anyway, the final verdict is that it was creepy and had bad graphics. I hated it. Just needed to explain why. Thanks for maybe listening.

Anywayz, I'll stop geeking out on the history of theater for a sec. and start geeking out about DragonFable.

That name says it all, I swear. It's and online RPG with crappy graphics that I've been playing since round abouts 2005. I started 'cuz I needed something to do during computer class at school that wasn't a power point on Tennessee. (No, srsly, u guyz - that was the assignment. FOR THE WHOLE YEAR.) So, my then-friend told me to try this thingy. At first, I was like, "Dude, only nerdy boys play this, I dun wanna-" But then, all holy hell broke loose.

I WAS HOOKED. (www.dragonfable.com)

Since then, I played sporadically until I left the school last December. (Dun ask - long story). I totally had forgotten about it since then.

So one day, whilst browsing FF.net instead of doing Vocab, I come across an ad for Dragon Fable. My reaction is pretty much, "OMGGFUIOGFVYUIOFVOSUFVYOEIFVBU I TTTLY 4GOT G2G TO DF!!!!" So I did.

I'm soooo happy now, tho. You start out on level one, and got up & such...anywayz, I finally made it to level nine! YEY!

Also, mages are the best things ever. If you join, be a mage. You can be a mage, a knight, a rogue, orrrrrrr...sumtin else, I think. But anywayz, after a cetain point, you get all these fawsome attacks where you can use different elements. To my knowledge, this is a thing for mages only. Meaning that while, yes, rogues may be cool-looking and pants-wearing (mages have robes), mages totally pwn everything else, no matter what their weaknesses are.

D'okay, I'll STFU now.

Mmm, wait. Okay, one last smiget of my boring life. I SWEAR, I'LL STOP AFTER THIS.

Okay, so back in play-rehearsal-world.

Sadly, M2 and N were not there yesterday. And also sadly, G was. But yey! My friend D (who I'm married to in the play) and and J (who...is African-American?) were also there, seeing as D just came back from Costa Rista. (Inside joke. YEY!) So we just learn this effing HARD dance for three hours straight and we're out by the water fountain. J starts quoting Avenue Q, as he is recently been known to do.
"So the guy's like, 'Hiiiii Kaaaateeee...'," he says in a sing-song voice. O.O
"And then she's like, 'Hi Oscar!', " he says in a perky voice.
"'HiiiiiiiiKaaaaaaaateeeeeeee...'" O.O
"'...Oscar?'" O.o?

So I have no clue WTF they're going on about, but being my awesome self, I have a sort of sixth sense. I can smell sexual innuendo and pervy jokes from about 100 miles away.

I cross my arms and say, "Lemme guess; he's staring at her boobs."

They stare for a couple seconds, and then they practically fall down laffin. Guess I hit the nail on the head, eh? Later, I ask if I was right. They nod, and keep on laffing. Again.

Mystery solved. Can I be a part of the Scooby Doo team nao? (LOL, one of my dog's name is Scooby Doo. I can't remember why, but he's practically retarded and eats like a goat and follows my mom everywhere and-OYANAOI'AMEMBER.

So, I'm at rehearsal for my latest play (which I have an awesome part in!!) and I'm talking to my boy-friends. One (who is so weird and I will call him G) grabbed me and this other guy (who Imma call M2) and pushed us together on either side of him. He's like, "I'm Harry Potter! You're my sidekicks!" (Which, even in context, makes no sense what-so-ever.)
M2 is like, "Dude, I'm not your Ron."
I'm like, "Yeah, and I'm not your Hermione! Even though I have read the whole library!"
And M2 turns to me and says, "Eh, you can be his Ginny."
So I glomp onto G in a fake-sexy way and say, "Okay!" and then I take a step back and go (ok, here comes the punchline!), "But let ME tell YOU that I am SOOOOO not naming my kid Albus Severus. And your dead parents can keep their names, my kids can have original names. But NOT HUGO!!!"
M2 is LHAO, and G is a little shocked. My other guy friend N comes over and says, "What? Who's G-ganny? Albus WHAT?"
We look at him and laugh, and I repeat the punchline. He doesn't get it, and therefore I can conclude:

N IS NOT A HP NERD.

BUT M2 IS! HURRAY!

And then later, we were playing that game where you make up a story by going around a circle and everyone makes up a sentence. (LOL, by the way. If you haven't played it ever, you have not LEEVED!) So, I mention Albus Severus, and they all LAFF.

And so, I discover that being with my fake-gay boy-friends is my manifest destiny and WE ALL LIVE FLUFFILY EVAH AFTAH!

Apparently, I am getting an iPod Touch for Christmas, to which I say, HUZZAAAAAAAAY!

I have a hunk-o'-crap, first generation, 2 GB black Nano, which is very scratched up and full of music, because it SAID it held 500 songs, but what it MEANT was 300-or-so songs, and 5 small pictures. Or, 300 songs, after I took the pictures off.
