About Me

IÂm a completely self taught artist of modest origins. As a ten year old, I was inspired to write after reading JRR TolkienÂs ÂThe Lord of the RingsÂ and thereafter, my art found true purpose. I wanted to illustrate the ideas, places and people crowding my head, their colorful cultures and peculiar languages all clambering for attention.

My skills progressed slowly until I had access to the internet, opening up the possibilities of references and online tutorials. That access was stifled and my interests in art restrained by those in my family except for a certain few that continued to encourage me. I thrived on that encouragement and continued despite the opposition. Currently I am in my senior year of highschool and hope to attend Philadelphia Art Institute.

My interests have remained focused on fantasy but branched out into mythology and culture. My style is semi-realistic with a pervading sense of humor, a love of irony and bright colors. I value variety and detail, something that shows in my work. As far as subjects, I adore landscapes, animals and humans, anthropomorphic to a lesser extent and high fantasy.

I reserve the right to display, sell prints of and/or use in my portfolio as needed. All commissions are for personal, non-profit use only.
Partial payment is required before I can begin working on your commission, the rest must be paid at completion. You will be sent a preview for approval prior to finishing touches.

Originals and Prints

A high resolution file will automatically be emailed to you for you to have printed at your leisure. I can also put it on cafepress.com or my DA print shop, if you want prints immediately available.
Regarding shipping originals of works in traditional media, shipping costs will be added to the total of your commission, as they have to be packaged so they arenÂt destroyed in the mail. Please inquire beforehand regarding international shipping.

What I do and do not draw
If it isnÂt listed, it doesnÂt mean I wonÂt draw it, I probably just didnÂt think of it. Feel free to ask if youÂre not sure.

I will draw: characters, anthropomorphic, fashion, fantasy creatures, blood, action, most small animals, landscapes, equines, and felines and canines to a lesser extent.

I will not draw: kissing/nudity/sex no matter who or what it involves, mecha or fanart (because I donÂt feel like getting sued, mostly)

I donÂt consider myself proficient at: flowers, sealife, romantic themes, architecture, or cars/motorcycles.

Home, tired as all get out (actually, I was doing alright and then last night I couldn't sleep) but I'm home.

I have been for a while but couldn't be bothered to update this thing. Why is vacation so exhausting? rofl. Tomorrow, it's back nose to the grindstone... time to finish English.

As a side note, commissions will be available soon and I'm working on getting the information set up for them. I think I'll be selling my prints through cafepress. It's just... less confusing than Deviantart. That, and I'm a little put off by DA allowing tracing. If there's anything on my page you'd be interested in owning as a print, feel free to tell me here and now and I'll keep it in mind

Of course, it depends on if it's big enough, high enough quality or if I have the original still to obtain a better copy.

The big factor will be, though, that I'm not selling anything fanart related. Sorry, I don't need a lawsuit and if anyone got busted for it, it'd be me. My luck just runs like that

I've been ridiculously busy, stressing over tests and so forth. As such, I've not been drawing much. Or really, not drawing and finishing anything. We'll see how things go, but I don't think I'll be submitting anything new for a while. Too much to do.
On a high note, I finished College Planner. A six month course done in... one? Not too shabby, especially with a 99% on it.
At any rate, enjoy some features until I can get my head back where it belongs.

I've been splitting my time between Legend of the Shengarikan and painting but so far I've been more successful at the writing. Between editing myself into insanity and being reminded how to form coherent paragraphs (I seriously cannot believe I was so scatterbrained I couldn't form a paragraph ) I somehow managed to finish the next scene for the chapter. Anyone know of any good books to read? I'm due for new ones ._. If I can read it online, even better. I don't care if it's original or fanfiction either (so long as it's not yaoi/yuri and is from something I've seen and liked, feel free to suggest it). Aside from that, I'd have to get it from the library because I'm poor. I love action/humor/adventure/fantasy types but hold on the romance please. I rarely have an interest in reading anything sappy unless it has a very good plot behind the mush or else I'm in an extremely emotional state of mind. And generally when I'm emotional, I want blood and violence XD Romance just makes me depressed.

Inkheart, while interesting, failed to hold my attention because of how badly it dragged. I could finish the last story in The Book of Jhereg but marital problems bore the hell out of me Otherwise, it's an excellent story. I also read Watchmen.... meh. So-so, not my cup of tea.

I still could use opinions on the matter of commissions.

_{I've seen a lot of people offer 5 and $10 sketch commissions which seems reasonable to me. I'm also not sure if I'd do prices based on hours I spend working on it or the level of detail the drawing/painting requires (IE, portrait, full figure, full figure with a background, dynamic poses all needing different levels of effort). I'm leaning towards set prices on specific details in the painting. There might be a notable difference in prices though if it were done with traditional media as things like watercolor paper and paints run to very high prices.

There's also figuring out the prints thing on DA.... it would be the easiest way for me to sell prints (I think).

So now you tell me. Would you buy it if I offered it? (Be honest) and moreover, what would you be willing to pay, or think my work is worth? I could really use people's input on this and will be talking it over with mom for her help in getting this together and formulating rules having to do with the commissions. She definitely likes the idea, especially since we're pretty strapped for cash and I'll be needing money to buy clothes for summer (I dropped three sizes over this last summer/autumn/winter and have nothing that fits)and other necessities. Basically I need my own income to supplement theirs}

On another note, I think I'm going to enter the "Kick your own Ass" contest. It suits me, especially since I like redoing my old art to see how far I've come. I'm not certain what I should use for it though, I'll have to dig through the art I sent *LegendsG over the years and find one worth repainting. Or perhaps I'll just use Raggedwing, she suggests that one REGULARLY

It suddenly got much warmer here, rather a relief as my wrist was having a conniption from the cold. I was able to get more painting done (I paint much better without having to wear layers that inhibit movement) and that makes me happy. Tomorrow I really will have to sit down and work on that chapter. Avoiding it is not helping me any and I feel guilty for letting it languish. I just hate opening stories, it's so tricky to figure out how to hold a reader's attention - though I think my prologue probably did a sufficient job at grabbing their attention to hold it past a slightly boring opening. Or I hope so anyway.

Well, I got the prologue done and worked on it a little more today with some help from those who critiqued it (many thanks to them) and while I'd love to continue working on chapter one I find myself completely incapable. Lack of sleep (yes, I am an insomniac and have been for years) and the dog barking maniacally at nothing have been keeping me awake. I'll keep my rant about 'indoor dogs' to myself, as I also find myself exceedingly crabby. Add slaphappy to that count. All the sugar I've consumed just trying to stay conscious so maybe I will sleep tonight has had an adverse effect on my sanity.

I even tried drawing just to do something, anything, considered productive. Major fail there too. it's just one of 'those nights' for me. Hopefully I'll sleep tonight and I'll have half a productive braincell tomorrow. I'd like to write a little everyday so that progress keeps moving (like I used to when I first started writing) but I've found I've had to sacrifice that as I simply end up burning myself out.

It annoys me when I'm too tired to do anything, mostly because even when I'm tired the ideas don't go away. Just the concentration/ability to put them down the way I want them does and it only serves to piss me off. The whole 'so many things to do and not enough hours in a day' kind of mentality. At least my busy nature fills up my art/creative writing logs quickly I've got over 72 hours for art and 38 for writing and I only need 150 each.
....suffice it to say those courses will be completed quickly

Though I had a pleasant surprise at how much people liked the prologue. I honestly never expected something I wrote to end up being on the "popular" pages but, well, this morning it was on the first page of 'most popular for 24 hours in literature' o___o woah. Thanks though I feel loved, even if I'm still a bit in shock. I keep getting laughed at by my sisters and friends because I find this all so surreal >_>

I haven't been so incredibly productive lately. Poo. Side effect of having a stomach virus, I suppose, but at least it's mostly gone now.

Although I can say I finished another chapter for Cobwebs. That's something, right?

It took me forever, since when I finally had it done and wanted to type it up, Milo was being a snuggledork and refused to allow me access to the computer.

I have intentions of going back and reworking the prologue as well as the first chapter for Schidai. I'm not happy with how I introduced Valkyrie and first impressions are everything with a reader.

And then I've got the chapters for LOS that I still need to type up and the rest of the draft to finish. I think I'll be spending a few days just sleeping to get enough energy to do all of this writing. Only five freaking chapters left, you'd think I could manage it. But instead at this point it's like a book I've already read and keeping myself interested is like pulling teeth. UGH!

I hope I can get it done before I graduate! I really need that in my portfolio!

Sorry for the recent influx of fanart. lol, I'm starting to draw it way too much. I guess Rajura's just pretty enough that I like painting him I'll go back to working on the mythology stuff I want to draw for my themes now, though Freyja and Bastet being top of my list...

And it would really help if I wasn't too dumb to figure out those little scrolly boxes people use in their journals >_> Unfortunately, I'm woefully stupid, the CSS defeats me. if anyone knows how to make them work... Well, without schoolwork burning my brain into a sad little crisp, I haven't had a lot to do. As such, I located a handy dandy little CSS-for-dummies guide and made my own journal CSS. It was a pain, really. I was quite good at HTML (several years ago now ) but this crap is just.... GAH! Who the hell can keep TRACK of any of this?

However, I think it looks pretty good for a first attempt... Since I just made my own, considering none of the ones on DA are idiot proof enough that I can get them to work sad, really.

....went back and made the journal text bigger. Even with my glasses I can barely read it.

I've gotten caught up on some much needed sleep, gotten to rest my brain and all that kinda crap that has to happen before I burn out badly. And so today I finally got back to work on something creative. Pulled out the goddess drawing Kitty wanted me to paint for her, as I'd like to finish it before I have to dive into my senior year. It looks quite good, it really doesn't need much more work. So maybe I'll actually have art to post soon XD

Currently I'm too lazy to be productive in any way, shape or form.

I finally finished 11th grade. I cleared out the last unit of chemistry today. It's exhilarating to finally be done, after so many set backs and disappointments. The only thing I'm a bit bummed about is my final grade isn't available because so many of my projects haven't been graded. Like, everything I did in the last six months. Seriously. I finished English III how many months ago? My essays from English STILL aren't graded ._. Plus all of the projects from Chemistry. So there's no telling when/if I'll know what my grade was. It should be exceedingly high, really.

Since I'm such a freaking over achiever.

And my senior year will be the easiest yet. Art class (basically a 150 hour log with examples of my art), literature (another 150 hour log with examples of my work), Japanese (), and English IV. That's it. I can't wait to graduate!

I'm going to be using my literature log to finish up writing/rewriting/editing Legend of the Shengarikan. I need to get that published before I graduate so that I can put it in front of the people at Philadelphia Art Institute. I'm an artist AND a published author.

That and having had lots of snow to play in? I'm a very happy girl

(6) I've lived in FL, TX, SC and KY, as well as having traveled the east coast extensively and even been in Canada.
(7) I got into writing poetry when my biological family started falling apart when I was 11, by the time I was 12 I was writing my first book. I was dragged into it by Mental Moron Blade (his real name doesn't suit him, trust me) and soon after ditched him to write with Mary. It developed into an (easily, I'm not really sure how long it was, I'm probably underestimating) 900 page series, which we afterward ditched for better projects. I blame that venture entirely on getting the LOTR books for christmas XD
(8) I'm a compulsive rule breaker. Tell me NOT to do something and instantly I can't resist it and will end up doing it. For instance XD I'm not a huggy, touchy person but tell me not to touch you and I will instantly glomp you to the ground. Just because you said not to.

It's been a dark, cold day and the cat sleeping (snoring) on my bed is making me tired. I've been sleepy all day and he isn't helping >.>

I've been too tired to work on chemistry, maybe another night's full sleep will remedy that. I think I'm hitting another one of those 'erpetually exhausted' phases. For a while, my sole creative endeavor will probably just be roleplaying with my sisters, lol.

On a sidenote, I got the timeline for AOE sorted out. I've basically decided when each book will take place, though it's adjustable. And what the hell was I thinking when I made time a central theme? Ugh! It made creating the timeline an utter pain. But at least it's mostly done, complete with character birth dates and book starting points. I also haven't quite decided if the series will be nine books or ten. I'm leaning towards ten just because it's a much tidier number XD

I also got a lot of work done organizing character profiles and editing them. I didn't realize how messed up there were until I went to figure out everyone's official age. And I have so much stuff I have to go back and change in Schidai. I was stupid and started writing before I had the dates settled or even locations (Originally I was going to set the story in Cincinnati Ohio and the first chapter still reflects this) so I have to go back and change locations. But because I'm lazy I'm just scrambling the letters into new names.

I did get some writing done. Yeah, a big three pages ._. Honestly, writing isn't so much my strong point as art is but I still enjoy it and wish I were better at it. I love writing suspense (hence, Schidai) but my memory is so full of holes I lose the information faster than I can write it -.- So I usually end up jabbering off to Mary XD she can remember it for me, lol. My external hard drive ^ ^

I think I'm going to do the 100 themes challenge in order to fill out my time requirement for my art class this year. And is it sad that when I saw 'obsession' on the list, I IMMEDIATELY thought of Sage and Cale? XD and Mary being the good friend that she is, has conned me into using them for that. I'm just... not sure yet how I'll be showing the obsession lol. Of course, Miguel and Valkyrie also occurred to me for that one but... I'll probably end up using them for 'love' instead (I know, not something I'd willingly paint but -.- it's hard to avoid fluffiness with the werewolves, I've noticed. They're all snugglebutts) since Miguel seriously does fall for this girl (though she's less than likely to reciprocate it).

Anyhow, I should wander off and find something better to do with myself. Perhaps I'll work on my wall mural some more (if you haven't seen it or don't know what I'm talking about, go here for photos: [link] ). Sayonara,

Updating mostly to cover up the rant I'm not typically that... pissy but yeah I'd been stewing on that for a while and wanted to get it off my chest.

Yesterday I finally got around to typing up what I had written for AOEI: The Book of Schidai and edited/cleaned up/rewrote chapter six. Seven might be a while before I finish it, depends on how many distractions I have

However, lately I've been roleplaying with the characters so they're... more active than normal. If only I could get Felix to talk to me *sighs* >.> reticent vampire. Anyway, I just have to figure out how I'm going to continue the chapter and what all is going to happen in its duration and I'll finish writing that.

And it passed the 50,000 word mark ^ ^ Makes me happy, though I'm sure the book itself with be about 20,000 words minimum before I'm done with it -.-

edit I think I'm going to take down the chapters of Schidai that I have on here. If you're interested in reading them, say so now before I remove them. I've already taken down the map and the lunar page because the map will soon need revision (name changes, sorry, happens frequently with me -.-; ).

Also, today I finished the fifth unit of Chemistry which means I'm halfway done with it! Only five more units and then I'm done with 11th grade - FINALLY. That only took an entire year I think I should be done by February though, I've been moving along quite well and getting good grades Then again, good grades are rather typical of me, since I've been a straight A student since 5th grade. -.- What can I say? I'm an overachiever. Big time. edit again: I went back and did more work because I didn't have anything better to do. So the next day I'd finished unit six Thank god they're so small!

Okay so in between drawing, schoolwork, maniacal cleaning fits and various spazzfits with my annoyingly needy OCs, I browse DA like any other bored DA artist with no life. And in doing so.... I've realized several things.
The first one would be that, the main reason I can't stand Twilight? The same reason I can't stand Naruto, no longer enjoy Harry Potter, and anime art in general.

IT'S TOO FUCKING OVERDONE!

For god's SAKE people.

If you like Twilight or you like Naruto or whatever, good for you. Really. But after a few days (ok no this has been going on a lot longer than days, I've been off and on DA for years now) I just get SICK of it.

I've drawn fanart before, well, some anyhow. But I use it as practice and most doesn't even get submitted to my gallery. All I'm saying, is that when DeviantART went from Devfantard I began to lose more and more interest in the site.

And the YAOI is another issue altogether. Gay love is one thing. HORNY TEENAGERS ARE ANOTHER ALTOGETHER! Seriously.

-.- am I the only one that finds the staggering decline in art quality disturbing? It's gotten depressing to even browse the site, newest, popular or anything. Everything in Literature is Naru/Saku or some other Twilight or yaoi/gay love fanpairing (or both)(that's in LITERATURE instead of FANFICTION where it BELONGS) and then everything on the front page is either Twilight or Yaoi.

Admittedly, the majority of my opinion on Twilight comes from excerpts I've read from the books (made available by many of the lolfans on the internet) and I find Stephanie Meyer's writing backwards, immature and confusing. But mostly what infuriates me are the FANTARDS.

Now, I have friends who like Twilight and friends who don't give a shit either way. They're all entitled to their opinion of it and I don't have an issue with them personally so long as they don't try to shove their opinion down my throat. And don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to shove mine down yours; I simply need to vent because I feel deviantART has transformed into DevFANTARDSPACEBOOK.

When the 'most popular for twenty four hours' page consists of shitty scribbles of two guys (most likely two guys from two different popular animes) fucking.... you can see where this is going, right? DA no longer cares about encouraging growing artists, just anyone, ANYONE who will feed the whims of horny teenagers without a life. Who needs correct anatomy, shading, composition or even originality? Two shirtless guys kissing (or even the resemblance of kissing, seeing as how some of it is so poorly drawn) is good enough for the front page.

Maybe it's just my disgust with how everyone's sole focus is ALWAYS SEX. Yes, humans have sex. It's how we reproduce, it's why we're here today. There's nothing wrong with it (except in some cases, like pedophilia....). And no, censoring it is a bad thing, censorship creates blindness. I'll talk about sex (reluctantly, it's more something I like making fun of than am seriously interested in).... It's just, am I the only person that can think of things more interesting to draw/write about?
And hello people, again, this is an ART site. If you need to draw your two favorite characters screwing each other in whatever fashion suits them.... THAT ISN'T ART IT'S PORN AND IT DOESN'T BELONG ON DEVIANTART.

One last thing. About pageviews. People keep going on about how it's deviantart, it's about art, not pageviews. Well, to me, the reason the pageviews make me happy is because it means people come look at my art because they like it. I draw, I've almost always drawn, because my art makes people happy. It's not because I've become 'opular' (which I really don't consider myself to be) or some such nonsense, it's just that someone likes my art and I appreciate it. Then there's the gripes about not commenting, just favoriting. Hello, favoriting is hitting a button and saying, "I like this!" It's a compliment, you don't bitch about compliments people! Dear god, how ungrateful can you be?

I haven't got anything better to do so you guys get another journal from me. Joy and rapture, I know, I'm probably bugging the hell out of you all with how often I do this now xD Oh well, I don't care.

I've got good news - and bad news. The good news is that yesterday I finished my math! Wahoo, a 95 on the course too ^ ^ That feels good, I tell ya. Especially since next year I won't need to take math or science courses. Now I only have Chem left, but I figure I'm entitled to a day off between them before I start ramming chemistry down my throat. If I vanish for a month it's because the chem ate my brain and I'm in stasis while they try to get it to revive from a squishy, vegetable-like state of matter.

The bad news is I think I tore up my left wrist. I'm not entirely surprised, because ever since I injured my right wrist it's had to pick up the slack. It's my strong arm now though, so the fact that it hurts too much to use today is.... well to put it bluntly it's fucking annoying. But there's no arguing with it when the lightning tendon pains hit >.< My right one's kinda sore too but not in the -do-not-use-me-or-you'll-end-up-crying-from-pain way.

Ugh, I hate having a genetically weak body, being an invalid drives me INSANE. Especially since I really can't afford for my arms to die on me, look at what I want to do for a living! Plus, lately Mary got cut really bad on her left hand (which is her strong hand too) so she can't do lifting and stuff for chores so I'm doing it instead. And we sure can't get Justin to help, mister chicken man has no muscle in his entire body >_>

Oh well, I'll make do. I've got it wrapped and it's not griping right now so s'all good. I've lived with pain far worse.

So since I've had nothing better to, I've been drawing and listening to music. Or sketching, actually. I came up with something that I rather like and I'll probably draw again on watercolor paper and turn it into a painting later. Other than that, I've been working more (in my head) on the races for Omeniire Inaintii Lume, specifically the other 'mystical' races that the humans live in oblivion to. The reason for this is that they were more well known in the older times and more feared and some of the books in AOE take place when they were actually active and part of society (or part of the problems) so I'm having fun creating new races. Hooray for hybrids!

I also had fun last night using the dress up doll games on DA to create randomized character appearances. It helps a lot, actually, because that way I make sure my characters don't all start to run together.

I also found this thing where you put in friend names and it generates random meme questions. Well, I didn't have anything better to do (and I was putting off going to bed) so I punched in some of my characters from AOE, some RW characters and some of my own characters for a wtf factor xD it proved highly amusing.

Wow, okay, so I've been REALLY busy the last few days (or so it would seem). I've been working my ass off in math, as I'm in the last unit of it now. Too bad it's so huge and will probably take three days for me to finish x.x
I also finished the requested painting for Abby:

I'm happy, because I learned a few more things about my program which should make operation easier. Not to mention that it turned out quite a bit better than what I'd thought it would. Though painter for some reason saved it as a REALLY crummy quality jpeg -.- I'll probably have to replace the file.

I also updated my website finally! It's been way overdue, since most of the pages there needed revamping

I also got some writing done (holyshitwtf?) on LOS:LU, or rather, plotting. More plotting than I'd had before at any rate. About 3/4 of chapter 16 more precisely.

I also did some doodling, trying to figure out how I want my Lychen to look like as their wolf form and their half transformed shapes. Let's just say... those doodles will never see the light of day XD At least canine anatomy isn't too far off from equine anatomy so I'm alright in that aspect, for the most part. Just the feet that I can't... make look like feet

I've gotten a lot of math done in the past few days, I only have four units left. God willing it will be done by next week at the latest, considering some of the remaining units are huuuge. But I finished one yesterday and I finished another one today, so I'm moving at a good pace. Thank god for my brain helping me XD if it weren't for Mary I'd be in deep trouble. Can't tell you how many problems I got upside down and backwards... or even dragged in numbers from previous problems

Chemistry is currently at a standstill, too many issues with the answer sheets and curriculum changes. Math they didn't do that too so I can actually figure out what I'm doing. So I'm finish that one first. I'd like to have it all done by February...

I've also gotten lots of plotting done for another one of the books in my series Archives of Execration, since I've been able to bounce stuff off Mary. Found out other things that I need to clear up/set in stone/rough out for the background of the story. I've got lots of work ahead of me with it and I'm going to have to revamp the map I have on here (I was planning on taking those deviations down anyhow) but things are moving again. YAY!

Anyhow, I found some things to submit since it's been so long since I bothered. I'm just now fully recovered from a cold, thank god. I don't want to be sick on Christmas again >.> I did that last year, not fun.

It's raining outside. We don't have a white Christmas, just a wet and soggy one. Oh well, we had our snow earlier this month. It's also really warm compared to a week ago when everything was frozen solid, it's in the fifties, supposed to hit sixty this Saturday.

And so, I'm an adult now, ne? Apparently, I'm no longer a girl, an emancipated girl, but a 'woman'.

Everyone keeps asking me how it feels. What the heck? It doesn't feel any different than I felt before. The only thing I have assurance of now, is that my biological parents can't do a damn thing to me now.

Ordinarily, I would not post anything of this nature in my DA journal. The reason I am now is simply out of selfishness. If my biological mother does read this, good for her. She knows I'm done with her, no matter what.

If I ever speak to her again, it will be face to face, to say Hi, I did it, on my own, WITHOUT you.

I know none of my future is going to be easy. I was raised to fear everything, and partially, that hasn't changed. What has changed is my resolve. I am going to succeed and no one is going to hold me back, ever. I didn't come this far to fail.

Hopefully, now that I'm eighteen, soon I'll be able to set up a print account. I'm curious about people's opinion on this, as to what prices and if anyone would actually buy it. I have to pay for the account, so if no one would buy it, it wouldn't be worth it to me.

Ordinary people must think authors are insane. I mean, think about it. We talk about our characters like they're living, breathing people. We have conversations with them, or that's the best way for me to describe it. We know everything about them, what they reactions are, even what they think. Surely I'm not the only person who does this. But then again, perhaps we do have to be at least a little insane to want to create people, organisms, even civilizations and new worlds.

So aside from the next chapter that I'm struggling to keep my attention on (hence this entry), I've been working more on background information. I have information on civilizations that have been dead for eons but the two races at the forefront (of this particular book anyhow) remain largely ambiguous, even to me. This is mostly due to laziness, as I haven't felt like looking of wolf hierarchy to set down the formal society for my Lychen culture. As for the vampires, I have a vague idea of their inner workings, but aside from the basics I laid down in the first few chapters, I haven't had any brilliant flashes of inspiration to use.

I don't know if I'll be able to con Mez into working on this story with me. I want to work on another story with her but at the same time, the inner control freak in me is seething at the prospect of releasing it from my clutches for her to help with. I think the reason for this is that we really do have very different writing styles and I'm trying to make Schidai more of a suspense novel. It's more likely that I'll use her for my other, so far unnamed, novel as her writing suits it better (and it's more fun to write with her...).

Speaking of which, I could use a hand coming up with a title, as so far none of occurred to me; none that aren't sappy, corny, stupid or just lame anyhow. The story is about four countries and their battle to institute the 'right' religion and the 'right' government as each views it. The ensuing mess is complicated by crumbling barriers that are allowing monsters from the dark forests around the countries back in to wreak havoc like none now alive even recall. Any ideas?

I'm making the cat nervous though, lol. He can't figure out why I'm drawing all over my walls and keeps running in and out, staring at me like I'm out of my mind and trying to get into the container I sharpen my pencils into.

I have no idea how long it will take me to actually paint this thing (I only have enough paint to just barely start lol so it'll be a while before they can even afford to buy me the acrylics to do it with but that's ok) I'll probably spend the next month or two just on the initial drawing, perfecting it and getting it how I want it and will be willing to look at it for the next few years XD

I've spent the last while mostly just collecting images that will be used as guides for various aspects of the mural. I have probably around two hundred, not counting the books that Mary picked up at the library for me. Everything from brightly colored birds, to foxes, to horses, to wild cats, to wolves, to castles, to bridges, to towers, to mountains, to waterfalls, to trees, to ships, to fish, to orcas, to cranes will be somehow incorporated into one HUGE freaking mural. The sunset on one side of the room, sunrise on the other, with afternoon and midnight on the walls in between. It will basically represent everything I love or am fascinated with, every corner of the globe, every civilization I've studied, all the colors I enjoy, the myths and legends I've read....

Yeah, it's definitely going to be MY room XD

Hell, I'm even going to put a dragon in it, probably. Not sure exactly where yet, but I think I'm going to have one living in some of the ruins I'll be putting in on one of the walls.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled my tablet software something like five times in the last six months, I kid you not. As for how many times I've had to uninstall and reinstall my actual painting programs? I can't even count how many times. They refuse to work on this laptop for any extended period of time and I can't for the life of me figure out WHY. And it doesn't matter how many times I go through the rigmarole to try and get my tablet working, none of the buttons on the side will do their programmed tasks. I seem to get about two months at a time before the tablet decides that the pen or mouse are no longer allowed to hold down a click so I can't select anything to paint and have to do the uninstall/reinstall thing AGAIN.

Well, today even that didn't work. I still can't paint, after restarting the computer like four times to get software off, back on, then off again, I tried deleting the preferences, EVERY thing, but for no good.

I give up. Mary thinks software is conflicting with it but dear God, there's BARELY anything on this thing! Would the antivirus program have anything to do with it? It's just great that it chose NOW to die on me considering that I have two requests and one particular work in progress that I was intending to finish, polish, and hopefully use in my art portfolio. But NO the stupid laptop won't let me.

Any ideas on what could be going on? I'm by no means a computer genius, I know just about enough to scrape by but it's not cutting it now. Adobe has a far harder time working than Painter, I generally get a decent amount of time to work if you've just started up the laptop but it freezes after about five minutes and the more you close and reopen the program, the sooner it freezes. Some brushes in it I can't even use, mostly the scatter tools (which happen to be the ENTIRE reason I loaded it on!) because the minute you select and go to use them, it freezes. And I'm working on a normal size canvas with a normal size brush, nothing huge! Gah.

I don't want to fry Mary's laptop with this fucking software, which SHOULD work and DID work JUST fine on my HP (which happens to be the same kind of comp this is). What about internal settings on the computer itself? Would something there be affecting it? I don't know, I can't figure it out and I'm about ready to scream.

HELP please T.T I just want to paint....

I randomly started writing again the other night so maybe I'm finally moving out of this dead zone. Maybe. It was very dark but then that's what I was feeling. I've also been doodling/drawing/sketching a lot lately (and my wrist can tell, ugh)so maybe one way or another something worthwhile will come out of it.

I've been feeling rather down lately for some reason, I guess certain events/people have just begun to rub me the wrong way again. I jolted myself up and awake more times than I care to count last night, scared out of my wits or convinced someone was trying to wake me up. As a result I'm not feeling very rested this morning >.<

I HATE PROBABILITY!!!!

Honestly, this is my third time of doing this shit and it's just getting worse each turn around. No, I didn't flunk my grade, you can thank my worthless biological parents for the fact that I have to do it AGAIN after they'd already lost it ONCE before!

This being the case I'm currently floundering in my three remaining subjects because I can't make myself focus in on them and inadvertently make things twice as hard. shoot me now!

On the other hand, since the temperatures have temporarily dropped here the last few days I've actually managed to catch up on some sleep instead of laying in bed languishing. I know that the summer here is nothing like what I've been used to down south but still, lol. Too warm for me.

I've been too lazy to really work on anything lately although yesterday the creativity bug bit my ass just long enough for me to create some horrible animation which currently resides in my scraps (where it rightly belongs) and then abandoned me. I hope it comes back I need it, I have a book I need to finish up. That will probably take me forcing myself to focus on it though... damnit, since I got dragged away from it for so long I can't reignite the fascination I once had for the plot. Though I admit that the plot has gotten a lot better since I've worked on it now in my seemingly bored state. It's just a kick in the ass to get myself to do so.

I really should go do math now
.... yeah, I'd better go do that >.<
