EDIT - simple, restart and it fixed *rolls eyes* So there! You can have a picture of Freddy boy now :3

So I can't upload or save anything anymore. When I try and right hand click on a picture, then go to save it...nothing happens. No box comes up to ask me where I want to save it. It's the same with trying to host on both Photobucket and Imageshack. It asks what you want to upload and when you click the browse button nothing happens. I can't even upload photos on here because the same thing happens - no box comes up for you to choose what you want to upload *flips a table*

Has anyone had this?

I really, really want to bake more cupcakes *cries* I have to wait until Thursday to do so though That's my next day off. I really love baking the cupcakes but I think I really enjoy the fact that I can take photos of them too. That's pretty fun. If I ever get round to making a portfolio I can always add in "food photography" to broaden my horizons too.

Work isn't that great. I'm in a bookshop which is good but I really dislike my boss. I'm tempted to look around to see what else is available but I'm not going to kick it in because the money is reletively nice there. Anyway, I have some things to look forward to! I'm seeing Muse and Rammstein at the end of the year/early next year and I have Expo coming up.

Is anyone else going to London Expo? ^^

Re: Doll news.

I've just paid off a Soom Chrom head. I think...but only tentatively think...that he could be Seraphinus. Meaning that I would sell my Breakaway. I don't know yet until I get him home and try Sera's stuff on him. I've always worried that my Breakaway would look kind of weird next to such a realistic looking doll (Willow is hopfully going to be a Soom Saiph). But we'll see.

Felix and Elk are currently being paid off. They wont have bodies for a fair while but I can work on that soon.

Alfie is home with a sexy new faceup. I'm just waiting on his hair to arrive so I can start taking proper photos.

I think that's about it for now!

About half a year ago I discovered cupcakes. Well, we'd all known and tried cupcakes before but I tried Marks and Spencers Raspberry and White Chocolate cupcakes and that was really when I discovered them. They are the most delicious, sickeningly sweet cupcakes with the most mouthwatering frosting I have ever tasted. It made me really wish that I could make cupcakes, so much so that I am going to start trying to bake.

If anyone knows of any good recipes online with detail on decorating then please let me know <3

I finished my job at the shoe shop today. Whilst I had a lot of fun, I am really looking forward to going back to a bookshop! I start my new job on Monday so I have a few days to myself to potter around and have a good rest. I might even go and see the Battle of Britain with Red Arrows either tomorrow or the day after which should be fun. I had a really nice time yesterday evening as it was mine and the boyfriend's one year anniversary - it's ridiculous how quickly time has gone XD

Photography wise, I can use this week to hopefully get some done and I'm going to attempt a new 100 BJD themes soon to keep myself occupied at the same time. I must get to writing some backstory too!

As for doll updates - London has his wigs, but not his eyes just yet. I ordered a load of stuff from Dollmore and Luts (already shipped a day after paying ) for Felicity because she needs more outfits that aren't lolita. I'm also waiting to hear back from a Sadol GO. Felix's head is almost paid off and Alfie is getting his faceup as we speak.

I'm going to London Expo soon which will be really fun and special. I'm really proud of my dad because he has managed to snag a spot at the Expo in the Artist's Alley for his shop. They will be selling prints (including ones from !) so please look out for Red Garden Manga if you are going there <3

And lastly, Batman: Arkham Asylum = win.

Where are we now?

I have uploaded some photos of The Defiled from Sonisphere. They were the only images that came out okay because we were right at the front. Sonisphere was awesome - best festival ever. I saw Linkin Park, Metallica, The Defiled, Feeder *again*, Bjorn Again (lol), Saxon, Mastodon, Alien Ant Farm and many more. Totally awesome times.

My health *touch wood* seems to be back on the road to recovery. I'm on a shit load of meds to "bombard" my system and try and make me better. It's working and that makes me happy!

Not so keen on my job at the shoe shop, mainly because the people there have decided to talk behind my back but it's ok because I handed in my notice today as I secured the job at a bookshop. I'll start there in September and although it's less money than what I am getting at the moment, it's something I love. Plus, there are people who like manga there <3

I've been getting back into writing too. Completely rehashing my dorrie plans too. Such as Ruska maybe becoming a girl eventually D:

I really, really want to get back into my photography but time just hasn't permitted it at the moment. Hopefully I can get something done about it soon as I am really starting to miss it

I have some adorable earrings for sale. I have never worn them and have only just received them recently. I have only taken them out of the packets for these photos.

They are made by Olivia Bruno of Hip Hop Candy ([link]) and have metal earring backs with fishhooks.

They are all made out of hard plastic on hypo-allergenic nickel free stud backings and each pair includes two studs.

They are water-resistant, but the site says to remember to take your accessories off before you sleep, shower, swim, or wash your hands. They are fairly delicate and need to have some care in looking after them.

I wonder what April Fool's I will fall for tomorrow...

I have to say, I am looking forward to the future. We are looking at a flat (if Patrick can get the afternoon off on Thursday) soon which I think is avaiilable immediately. It's got 2 bedrooms and is a reasonable price PCM. We really need to get a flat soon because I am fed up of being here And I miss him. And the rest of the Guerns. I'm pretty scared but excited to go. I'm gonna miss so many people - especially all the Stones Crew who I see almost every day I have enough money to tide myself over for a fair few months and I'm selling lots of my stuff (check DOA sales threads if you are interested in doll stuff including heads, eyes, wigs, clothes, shoes and accessories!) to keep saving.

We are going to London next weekend, maybe China town, Forbidden Planet and London Zoo. It's gonna be fun providing it doesn't rain haha and I will be taking my camera with me so hopefully I will get some nice photos of le animals

I've made the last of my purchases (bar a green dress for Patrick's fancy dress party) and have now decided that I won't be going to Expo. I won't have enough time/cash to make a Big Daddy cosplay no matter how much I want to do it and there isn't really much point in going personally if I'm not cosplaying because I've looked at all the stalls by the time it hits 12pm anyway.

Artemis is still on order, and has been for almost a month, and Will's head is on her way home. I can't wait to get them home and be able to get some backstory with Sera done

Just a quick update on things to expect.

I will have some more photos uploaded of my day out on Sunday - this is mainly doggie photos and trees...fun? I took 300+ photos and liked 37 (only a few I will upload)

I'm also about to upload a couple of tasters of Burn (who has had a mold change) who I hadn't been playing with anymore. His new mold suits him much more as the Mister Grumpypants he is XD He needs his correct eyes though.

I'm also hoping to cosplay at Expo in May if I get the time to make it. I plan to go as Big Daddy (Bouncer version, not Rosie) from Bioshock. Also speaking of Expo, is there going to be a doll meet there at all?

Wow! I have 205 watchers I just want to thank everyone who watches, faves and comments on my work. I'm sorry I haven't been hugely active recently - I've been pretty stressed and taking photos hasn't even crossed my mind as I simply have no time to do so.

There probably won't be many more photos from me for a couple of months as I am moving soon and the process to which I can do this is taking a long time and stressing me out majorly.

So, I've finally been able to get out and take some photos and upload them. It's been really hard to find the time what with work and my shift patterns meaning I'm only around when it's dark. Hopefully I will be able to upload some more soon because I really miss taking them.

Next year it will be much better though as the courses I am doing will allow me to be out and about taking lots and lots of photos. I think I will be much happier doing what I really love. Though it's a pretty big step I'll be taking but the change will no doubt be good for me.

I'm still waiting for my Feeple Breakaway (I keep forgetting how the wait takes aaaages) but Luts have shipped my order real quick for my new idea. But dollmore are taking a while - I did order a lot of crap though XD So there will be lots of photos of the new boy :3 And I'm still waiting for Fel's head, hopefully she will be how I want her and come home soon

I get to see Pat on Friday. I cannot wait ;~; It's been so long since I last saw him and we are having a Saw marathon and then seeing Saw V I hope it's good! Doll things ~~

My Soony head is home I tried the eyes I bought for her and I think they look good in her. Some angles you can't do because they are 18mm and she probably should have 20mm but they aren't gappy with the way I set them in ^^

I have taken some photos but I have decided that I won't be giving anyone a sneak peek. She has a faceup (not keeping) at the moment and I am waiting to hear from the person I want to do her final faceup. I hope they reply soon so I can send her off straight away

Her Dollmore order arrived, but I am still waiting on Luts. I'm almost half way of their estimated time of manufacturing but I know it's unlikely that it will ship that fast. That's no huge deal though. Gives plenty of time for her face to get done and for me to plan her introductary (spelling?!) thread. That's right. I'm going to attempt some form of photo story *shakes in boots* Well, when I say photo story...I don't think there will be words but it will tell a story/transition of photos. Hope that makes sense to someone because I have no idea what I am on about XD

Burn has been back with me now Tak has given his body back. Burn plays a big part in Fel's life. I also gave him his bridge piercing ^^

The twins are also back, feeler gone, and I love them more than ever. And Pandy is getting another new wig.

I start work on Monday. A little nervous but I have had a lot of encouragement from people so I am looking forward to it. I can finally start earning money so I can help my dad I hope they have a tshirt my size *cries*

I bought those shoes I had been eyeing up for weeks. They are TOTALLY comfy <3

In general, my photography worries are still there a little but I have read some things and have many plans for when Fel gets here. I also have a shoot entitled "Empty Walls" planned for when I get Seraphinus back (rebuying him as a different mold at some point).

I'm feeling really good with myself and very determined and I thank the person that helped me (not that they will read this lol) because they have become a good friend who I miss dearly. Just chatting to them helps me relax and look at things without the blinkers I seem to have been wearing for so long

I hate to be all rargh and negative (it's a bit lolworthy as I have hit 8,000 view - Thank you so much <3) but right now, I can say that whilst my dolls may look pretty in the photos I've been taking, I hate every single image I have done. I no longer know what to take photos of, how to, or ways to make them more interesting. I can't think of themes. Looking over my Deviant art, all of my photos look the same. Photography is what I strive for, but I never have any inspiration. If I don't have inspiration, then I won't take photos and will end up with a load of dolls sitting around doing shit all.

I've looked on DOA at critique things and what not. How to edit photos (mine all look....wrong? or "fake" to me) and using backdrops but I just don't really know where to go from there. I can't afford any new equiptment like flash guns or more lenses so that's out of the window.

I know there are people out there who like some of my photos...I just don't know why. I feel like I'm letting them AND myself down ;_;

So, with my new poll that's up, please, please, please feel free to throw ideas and so forth at me. I will do my best to try and work with them.

I'm rehashing a lot of my characters and trying to limit the amount of dolls I have. I've really gone through a lot in such a short space of time.

Jasper ~ After having him for a year I am pretty comfortable with him. The only thing I need to do is get him sueded...and fix his trousers.

Flux ~ I love his cuteness too much and having developed his character some more I am reasonably content with him

Merlyn ~ Merlyn on the other hand is another story. Whilst I dont want to part with him (I dont know how I would feel about only having one of the twins around) I do need to sort out his character and personality some more

Pandora ~ She's pretty complete (needs eyelash reglued) and will become more in the spotlight when Fel gets home. I kinda feel bad that she is the only girl

Morgan ~ The only El I have ever really loved. Might be a shit reason, but that is why I don't want to part with him. He is too pretty ;~; But alas, he needs a character/personality too >.<

Juniper ~ Juni is all sorted, doesn't need clothes or anything new. He ties in nicely with the LCG backstory and therefore doesn't need to go anywhere

Kiseki ~ I went through so much to get this guy. But the more I look at Breakaway '05 the more I like him more than the "refined" Breakaway '08. That's all I can really say.

Ruska ~ mmmRuska, I love Ruska and his backstory. He is another complete one. He stays.

Takumi ~ omnomnomnom (needs a body)

Seraphinus ~ Whilst I love that Juri head, I am really leaning towards replacing him as a Migidoll Ryu. I need an evil smile. After all, Sera is a crazy ass pyromaniac who wants to burn the world. Seraphinus or "burning one" is now at home :3 His clothes and wig are at the post office awaiting collection tomorrow morning. Yes, the photos of him are pretty samey but he is pretty and I don't really care. There will be many more varied ones tomorrow evening hopefully.

It's just started raining. I like that, hopefully it means that it will be starting to cool down in time for the festival *hopes* On the topic of the festival, I'm actually really looking forward to it now Have to get a tent still and only want to see like 8/9 acts so far but it will be an awesome few days. I really need to not spend any of my next pay cheque XD

Mr. Schmegs came into the kitchen earlier and his meowing sounding like he was hurt yet excited. My immediate thought was "crap he has a bird" so I shut the door so he couldnt get out of the kitchen and bring it on the carpet. When I looked at him he had something in his mouth which he proceeded to cough up and a huge, and I mean HUGE, dragonfly plopped on to the floor. Mr. Schmegs looked at me, continuing the meowing as if it were a present for me. Poor dragonfly, but seriously that was the cutest thing he has done for a long time. Silly old tart.

The rain smells good, yay for the back door being open

Annnyway, a couple of you may have noticed the "spotlight" at the bottom of my journals! Check out the images! These people deserve being looked at in my opinion

The dentist cost me a RIDICULOUS amount. Like over £100. HERE I COME DENTAL INSURANCE (shame it's a bit late) so that was a bit embarrassing as I was about £80 short

So, here come the sales. I am tempted to sell "Flood" my Crobidoll Lance A head. He is so pretty and fits it with my story but he isn't really that important to everything. I'm not 100% sure yet but if anyone is interested, please drop me a note on DA as I have not put him onto DOA
