Ok....long long ago, i read this manga (and what i thought at the time was a one-shot) from a Chinese magazine, and fell in love with it cause it was by Nanae Chrono (one of my fav artists)...

....and omg, i went to the convention, and found two volumes of it~!!!! D: i recgnized it right away, and was like "OMG...must...buy...." (the only manga i ever collected was Peace Makers by the same artist...except they discontinued the license =A=;;; and now i'm collecting this!! <33 only 2 volumes so far though >.<;;~ a good friend bought a volume of it for me for christmas <3)

if you don't know who Nanae Chrono is...well, her manga is always really funny, witty, a bit dark at times, and she draws the cutest darn chibis ever >A<~~~

....i attended my first ever funeral today. really not pleasant. the old lady who passed away was a sister at my church (although i stopped going in the middle of highschool), and i've known her since i was 9 years old.....

....i thought i'd be ok with paying my respect and not break down, but it was harder than i thought to not cry.....

...it made me think about a lot of things. she was only 79 years old, and my grandparents are in their 80s already. although mind you, my granpa's really really heathy and can still take the stairs two at a time at the age of 82 D: .....it made me really wanna visit them, but they're both back in China, and ahhhh, so depressing "orz....but i will be superstitious and not say anything that might bring bad luck D:~!


but what is life without death? what's death without life? what would prompt us to find our meaning in life more than death? and how could we make our less-than-a-grain-of-sand-in-a-barral-of-sand significance remain even after we pass this realm? is there another journey after this? the ones who knows can never say.

although they make graves look really scary in movies or whatnot, they actually give a really peaceful feeling....

About the Contest
To help promote the word and nature of ACGNA, we are hosting an Illustration Contest! The winning entries will be turned into staff T-shirts, buttons, and banners for the company (and such sorts). OMG. last night we (as in...my mom, bro and me) were coming home from my art lesson....and then it started raining like there was no tomorrow...and my mom was on the highway. OMG. that was so freaky. we were driving at 30km/hour the whole way x_x;;~~ it was hard to see anything, and there were flashes of lightning everywhere...oh, and i forgot to mention that THE HIGH WAY BLACKED OUT while we were on it. LOL. so it was actually pitch black except for a little distorted patch of light in front of us xD;;...and faint lights from cars in the front. xD;;

....and...IT WAS SO EXCITING!!!!! OMG i was so excited..and kindda scared. but more excited. i wish i could draw my feelings down, but every time i picture something, it was the same, generi lame-looking girl with thunder flashing behind her....or thunder striking a guy. so lame x_x~ but i might put it down on paper some time +_+~ omg.

but i'm happy we didn't crash the car or anything xD;;~ there were a few crazy drivers who actually drove really fast! road killers =A=;;;~ anyways, i just thought it'd be really nice if i was standing outside in a field of grass or something....

i don't know why people these days seem to hate me a bit more, but seriously, why was this flagged as Mature?

i've seen more skin showing on women on those bilboard advertisements on streets than this! seriously, anyone who ever watched much-music or something has seen worse =/ wtf.

anyways, i went to two comic book stores today to get my hands on a few free comics and a new yaoi book that came out, and as i was walking towards the first comic store, and on the way these freaky scientology people (edit:alright, so apparently they're not for scientology, but against it xD;...but still >_>;; )...with masks..... (i'm really sorry, i'm not trying to offend scientologists, but those masks REALLY freaked me out...seriously D: )

then on the way back, i noticed there were quite a few police standing around...and saw that a hoard of people were walking a parade towards my direction >_>;; upon a closer look, i realized they were people trying to make marijuana legal...except the thing is, they were all smoking marijuana, and were pretty drugged up O.o;...
i distinctly remember a woman who was wobbling around losing balance for no apparent reason and saying "i'm ok, i'm ok!"....>_>;;; i dunno about you, but my impression of the parade was that those people couldn't really be taken seriously, and the only reason they want marijuana to become legal is so that they can take those toxic stuff and waste away themselves -.-;. sorry if my oppinion on this clashes with yours....

then the marijuana people says to the scientologists "HAH, we have MORE PEOPLE PROTESTING THAN YOU, HAHAHAHA" and "SCIENTOLOGY SUCKS *roars of laughter*" while i was trying to move forward @_@;;~

anyways, i think some marijuana had a really good smell (which kindda makes me wanna try some....but....getting addicted would be bad ), while others smelled like shit put together with smoking......or someone setting shit to fire.....urgh, it was pretty bad D:

...(if you were wondering why i didn't just take another road... i can only say that i was afraid of getting lost, so i had to stick to the main street where they were parading D: )

Argh, my cold's killling me D:~
got a fever yesterday after i tried to play DDR with my NEWLY BOUGHT PS2!! (yes, i know it's old old and you're probably going "what, you JUST got a PS2? i got one liek.....a million years ago xD"...but i've never been allowed to play games and so i'm happy i finally got a game console...even though i only have it cause i told my mom that i can lose weight using DDR......)

on the other hand, i've been watching all of dragon ball series <3~ well...ok, every other episode when they're fighting...cause it takes forever for them to power up D:

lol, i've been talking to my computer screen a lot when watching them =A=~ they ask the stupidest questions to each other sometimes and i can't help but answer "duh!!" ~

....and i dunno...due to the bad influences of ~YugiL, i've become quite interested in the pairing Goku/Vegeta/goku "orz...lololol. it's kindda funny how vegeta's always "Kakarote, you're MINE!" xDD;;~

and lololol, vegeta blushing is so funny xD;;;~ and supersaiyan4 is so ....funny looking...lol...they're truely monkehs :'D
