Back from El Salvador! Every night, I wrote an email to our church to let them know how we were doing, so here's a summary of what we did in the past week. Beware, it's a long journal.

Saturday

We arrived safely in San Salvador at around 9:20pm local time after a long day of flying. We left Powers Creek Church at 3:30am. Everything is going well so far, except for we have lost some luggage! Please pray for its safe return.

There is only one lane running on the bridge into San Vicente, and signs of destruction from flooding along the road. Two men, Trent and John, are staying from the last team to help us transition into disaster relief and building.

Sunday

Wow! What an emotional and busy day. After a great sleep (or not so great, depending on who you are), the team went out for breakfast with Pastor Jorge to Pollo Campero, a restaurant much like A&W. There, we met properly with Trent and John, the two men staying from the Calgary team, and were introduced to Oscar, who will be working with and helping us. This Oscar works with Teen Challenge in San Vicente, and with the church here.

After breakfast, we came back to the hotel, and were briefed on what has happened here in the past week. Trent and John told us about the devastation here and in Verapaz. It was overwhelming to hear the things that have happened so recently, and we are all eager to help. We drove to Pastor's house, and loaded up beans, rice, and blankets to take to Verapaz. We needed to see the situation there, but didn't want to go empty handed. Most of the drive out to the village was beautiful cane fields, small farms, and a looming volcano. It wasn't until nearer to the village that we started to understand the full extent of what had happened. Huge sections of cane fields were completely gone, replaced by 100 meter wide rock beds, where the floods had passed through. Rocks ranging from head size, to the size of large trucks were littered all over, carried down the volcano by water. The roads were very busy, full of people trying to get into Verapaz to help with the relief work. The village itself was a disaster. Mud was piled on either side of the already narrow streets, and brief glimpses into houses showed several feet of mud still inside. Main street has been wiped out. We found churches serving as food, clothing, and blanket distribution centers, and we left our supplies with them. Despite all of the devastation, it was amazing to see the huge amount of support given by people in the community. We are going back tomorrow with shovels, to help dig mud out of the houses.

A quick stop to the Texaco for icecream and junkfood. Then we walked the short ways to the bridge into San Vicente. It is about 50 feet above the normal creekbed, and last week, the water was covering the whole bridge. Near the bridge, about 15 homes have been destroyed, and some swept away, like they were never there. Forty people died or went missing.

We returned to the hotel, then were off to church. Oscar lead worship, with Pastor Jorge's children singing and on the drums. It was interesting for us to recognize some of the songs, but not be able to sing along! Pastor Jorge's message was excellent, especially since we had an interpreter. Then, we had a huge dinner with the team, the Pastor's family, Oscar, Trent, John, and Jose, the interpreter, at Pollo Campero. We met back at the hotel for a time of reflection.

Tomorrow we will be helping at Verapaz, and we will start building the houses on Tuesday, Lord willing. Please pray for the missing bags, and that we will make meaningful connections tomorrow. Grace and Peace!

Monday

Everyone is exhausted, but happy. Went to Pastor Jorge's house at 7:00 this morning, had a wonderful breakfast of huevos rancheros, did a devotion, and then we were off to Verapaz for some good hard work. We stopped at a hardware store on the way there to pick up some shovels and other tools. In Verapaz, we connected with Pastor Heraldo to find out which people in the community were in the most need for having their house cleared of mud and debris. The team split into two. Half of us went to Jose's house to clear the back of two feet of mud, wood, rocks, and various other debris (like a cast iron stove). The other half went to Douglas's house to clear two to three feet of mud from his back patio area and the kitchen. Guy figures we moved five dumptruck loads of mud.

Douglas escaped from his house with his wife, a thirteen year old, an eleven year old, and a 17 day old baby. They left through the back door, after hearing the mudslide coming through the village. The water was up to his chest, and they just barely escaped with their...

It's really funny. People ask me what I'm up to, now that I've graduated and I'm not heading to school until the beginning 2010. The short answer is -- NOTHING! This isn't entirely true, but close enough without going into a lot of detail. I do lots of chores (yay washing dishes...), watch a lot of tv, and play a lot of videogames. It's nice for me also, cause I'm able to draw and write and do things that I wouldn't normally have time to do.

Consequently, it also allows me time to go to El Salvador for week to build houses, without having to worry about missing a week's worth of classes. I'm heading down there with a team this Saturday, and I'll be coming back on the 22nd. There's been a lot of bad weather down there in the last week, but the trip is still a go as of right now. Please pray for a safe trip, and that we will be able to make a difference, however small. Thankeesomuch! <3

Short journal... will update when I get back! Brought to you from a galazy far far away...

Movies movies movies!

I've seen four movies this month! Haha. Surrogates, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, Where the Wild Things Are, and Astro Boy.

Surrogates was an okay movie. I like that sci-fi type of movie, and I thought the concept behind it was really interesting. I thought it was weird, though, you know, with all the people who like to dress up as ninjas or elves or Dr. Spock, why there weren't more roleplay type surrogates. People with purple skin and the like. But, then it might be a little farfetched for the "normal" folk.

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs was absolutely HILARIOUS. Loved it! The animation is very cool and slick, and the characters are memorable. Flint Lockwood is a super-nerd! The way he types cracks me up. The movie was a pleasant surprise in how solid and funny it was, which isn't how the commercials portrayed it. Cool story too, with a good plot, and some wonderfully unexpected character development. Very, very good movie, and I highly recommend it.

Where the Wild Things Are was a sweet and nostalgic movie, cute, but not fantastic. I liked how much of the book they actually stayed true to, which, with a children's picture book, is an impressive feat. The wild things look exactly like they do in the book, which was awesome, and the way they were brought to life and given personalities was cool too. However, the movie didn't finish things up as nicely as I would have hoped, as it left quite a few things unresolved. But, then again, that is the nature of life and families. If you liked the book, you'll probably like the movie, but it's not one that HAS to be seen in the theatre.

Saw Astro Boy last night, and fell immediately in love! Love the animation, the voice actors that were cast, and the revival of a beloved character! I came home and watched some of the old Astro Boy cartoons, and I think that the movie did a really great job of creating a solid and entertaining origin story. The characters look super good, and are pretty darn accurate in comparison to their older cartoon counterparts. If you liked the old cartoon, I think you'll like the new movie, and if you're like me, and don't really know much about Astro Boy, I think you'll still like it. Highly recommended!

I'm totally buying Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs and Astro Boy on DVD when they come out! What do you guys think of these movies, and have you seen some other ones recently that you want to recommend?

I watched the entire first season of Lost this week, and now I'm hooked! It's got some very awesome survival plot (which I love - Lord of the Flies, Hatchet), and just enough sci-fi-ness to keep the crazy part of my brain happy. Now, waiting for the second season. No spoilers, people!

In other news, through some crazy connections I made, someone at Disney's Club Penguin asked me to send in a portfolio. Still haven't heard anything, but I'm hoping and praying! It's not what I want to get into in the long run, but it would be absolutely fantastic work experience! Anyways.

I picked grapes at a vineyard last week. We picked mostly Pinot Noir grapes, which are tasty. The vineyard we picked at doesn't use pesticides or anything, so we were allowed to eat the grapes right off the vine. They have huge seeds in them. Pinot Gris grapes are very pretty and tasty too! I ate a lot...

Finally got my hands on a copy of Percy Jackson and the Olympians Book 5 - The Last Olympian, and it was a stellar ending to a fantastic series!

Other than that, I haven't really been up to much. Still working slowly at my comic, and doodling here and there. Filling out student loan applications. Getting ready to go to El Salvador.

Anyways, drop me a line and tell me what's been going on with all of you!

I will have another one sometime!

Heys all!

So, yeah, I've never done this before, but my 5000 mark is coming up sorta soon, and I'm going to offer a character drawing to whoever catches the screen shot. No background other than some colour (this might change) but it will probably be coloured and everything cause I tend to get carried away with things like this. XD It can be one of your original characters (or someone else's original characters but they must say it's ok), but I won't be drawing any fanart for this. Just your very own awesomeness!

In other news, I totally stayed up until 6:00 Tuesday morning watching Heroes like a maniac. Now I'm totally addicted. I must see the end of the season, and beyond! Who else here likes Heroes? Who's your favourite character?

Most of you won't know this, but I totally started to rewrite my werewolf comic. I know, I know, it's hard to believe that I, the person who never ever finishes big projects like this, is actually steadily working on this. Right now it's nowhere near to ready to be drawn and posted, just writing, but once I have more written I will start to draw. Since I graduated and I'm not in school yet, I'm making this my big personal project for this fall. Big huge thanks to Mistress Tate for her invaluable help on this!

I'm looking for more work before I go to school, so I was wondering if anyone here would be interested in commissioning me. Unfortunately my skill set isn't very broad yet, but I sure can learn. Let me know!

*Is debating whether to catch a bus into town to buy Heroes...*

Hello everyone!

So the whole updating every couple of days from Spain did not work out as planned. This is mostly because we were super busy all of the time, and I didn't have access to a computer every day. Also, my house was almost destroyed in one of the many forest fires that are burning in our area right now. The rest of my family still at home had to evacuate while my mom and I were away. Everything is slowly getting better though. We are in the house, but still on alert.

As you can guess, we got home safely, and everyone here is safe. That's what really matters, and I just want to thank people for keeping us in their thoughts and praying for us. The fire behind our neighbourhood is apparently 100% contained, which is excellent news.

Now, we are leaving on another trip! My family and I do an annual 3-week camping trip, and we're leaving in about half an hour. So, if I don't answer, it's cause I'm camping up and down the Sunshine Coast. Yay!

Yum, I just ate some ice cream (for lunch), now what? What are you going to do?

Also... I JUST GOT PSYCH SEASON 3 ON DVD AND I ALREADY WATCHED THEM ALL AND THEY ARE SOOOOO GOOD! EEEEEEEE! We are going to have so much fun watching these, eh my friends?

This is my partner, Lavender Gooms.

I will try to post soon!
¡Hola amigos!

Thanks for the great comments and whatever other support you guys have given me! My mom and I flew out of our localish airport (almost missing the flight due to not hearing the boarding call!) and arrived safely in Toronto. A couple hours layover and then we were on our way to Madrid, Spain. Arrived in Madrid 10:something AM local time on Friday 10, and miraculously found our own way from the airport to Atocha train station, with help from several very nice people. Once at the station, it took two hours to find out that the train we wanted to take to San Fernando in southern Spain was completely full until the 21st of July, and so we had to purchase a transfer ticket to get there. Unfortunately, the train didn't leave until 7:30 the next morning. My mom and I are way to cheap (ah, thrifty) and too lazy to find a place to actually stay after we toured Madrid a little, so we parked ourselves on a lovely park bench and spent the night alternately dozing, reading, and playing Gameboy colour. At 5:00, we went back to the train station, met some very nice young men from Calgary, picked up our luggage from the lockers, and caught our train.

We arrived safely also in San Fernando after a transfer, my mom and I both dead tired. On the train my mom promptly fell asleep, leaving me to force myself to stay awake so that we didn't miss our stop. We are staying with my mom's German penpal who owns a couple of apartments and houses for rent, and so we are staying there.

It is devilishly hot, but there is a pool where we are staying and the ocean is never far away. We are about to go to Barbate's festival, and so I must cut this journal short (short? good one!). I will try and do another update tomorrow! Thanks again for all of the support, everyone!

Read so far on this trip:
Bloody Jack
Curse of the Blue Tattoo
and Under the Jolly Roger

These are all books by L. A. Meyer, and are very excellent historical fiction. Set at the beginning of the 19th century, the books follow the adventures of one Mary "Jacky" Faber, an orphan girl who manages to become a Ship's Boy on a Royal Navy ship. This is my third time reading these books and I highly recommend them!

¡Adios!

It's a Canadian program about a paramedic who can read minds, and it's so amazing! Go us! It's this business --> [link]

Also, and I won gold for 3D Animation at Skills Canada Nationals in PEI! WOOT! We won... bragging rights! Sweeeeeeeet. There were a lot of really great animations. I wouldn't say that we were the best, because there were a couple of really amazing teams, but they didn't quite finish their animations, which was disappointing. Hopefully they'll go again next year.

And, "prom" is tonight! Cool beans, man. I'ma wearing a green bridesmaid's dress. Also, I have a Lit test tomorrow that I definitely haven't studied for, seeing as how I was out in PEI having a blast. We shall see...

I had fish-n-chips every night for dinner. Yomomniomniomniomniomniomni!

Thanks for all the well-wishes and support, everyone!

Hey everyone!

So you may or may not have heard that my friend and I participated in Skills BC and won silver for 3D Animation. This is extremely awesome, of course, though we were a little bit bummed out that we couldn't go to PEI for Skills Canada. Anyways, we found out today that the gold medal winners can't make it, so we get to go after all!! We are super stoked, and hopefully, we will make it on to worlds!

Also, I got contacts today, and I hate them. They're in right now, and even though, woohoo! I can see, they are irritating and make my eyes dry and are generally uncomfortable. They also take me forever to put in and take out. Bleh.

Two of my friends and I are doing Dragon's Den Young Entrepreneurs' Challenge, where we have to create a business from scratch and do all of the things involved in that, like marketing and budget. Our website just went up, with more on the way! [link] It's not finished yet, but any support would be much appreciated!

Just finished reading the latest book of the Chronicles of the Necromancer series, Dark Haven. Excellent books if you're looking for an epic adventure story. [link]

Interested in eugenics and up for a quick read? Check out Zoo by Graham Marks. [link]

And lastly in this short update on my recent reads, check out the Ranger's Apprentice series. [link] I am currently reading the fourth book in the series, and it's very good.

Hey guys!

I know everyone is very shocked, flabbergasted even, that I actually made some comics. You know, the ones I've been saying I would make for MONTHS. Ha. Actually, I think I started this last summer. Anyways, I hope you guys are enjoying them so far!

In other news, I got accepted at the 3D Animation school I want to go to! Now I just have to find an affordable place to live. I am so excited! I also ordered a dress for grad, and bought some more Spider-man comics.

Also, I recently watched Twilight, and I'm sorry, but it is one of the worst films I've ever seen. Yes, the book is better (almost always is), though it's still not amazing. I mean I'm glad that people who normally wouldn't read are interested in this series, but the books are not nearly as amazing as people are saying. And the movie, GOOD GRIEF. It oozes cheese. Most of it is taken up with shots of Bella and Edward staring at each other. *convulses on the floor*

Anyone read any good books lately?

Hey, guys! I have to say, quite selfishly and self-importantly, that it's mah birthday today! I can vote. I'm super excited! I'm going out for sushi tonight, and then we're coming home to watch "Stardust" and "Be Kind, Rewind." I am now a whole day older than I was yesterday.

Anyways, in other news, I finally got my hands on "Antsy Does Time" by Neal Shusterman, which is a companion book to "The Schwa Was Here" and it's sooooo funny! Both of these books are some of my favourites. Highly recommended for a good laugh and sharp wit, but with some interesting ideas hidden underneath.

is super super awesome and made my new avi as his part of a trade. I have to say that his half is definitely awesomer than my half was. Check it out! [link]

Three more exams, and then I am free from math and chemistry for the rest of my life. I told my chem teacher that we should have a party. As you can imagine, he wasn't totally sold on that idea. Haha.

I started playing Twilight Princess again the other day, and it's still as good as I remember it! I tried it on the bigscreen, and it was amazing. I could actually see individual blades of grass!

I hope everything is the sweetness for you guys! Cheers.

Sweet.

Anyways, I just finished reading Twilight on Wednesday, and I have to say that I liked the book more than I thought I would. I read it mostly so that I could talk about it with people, but I rather enjoyed it. Parts of it are definitely sappy and lame, but there's enough plot to keep it going. Bella is annoying but Edward is pretty sweet. I'm waiting to see when the werewolves come in, because werewolves are better than vampires any day.

Another book I recently read that I highly recommend is "Neverwhere" by Neil Gaiman. One piece of amazing news and a praise item - I won first place in a comic contest and won a $2800 scholarship! So, I'm pretty stoked. Prayer item - my grandmother is in the hospital for a broken hip. So yeah.

School is school, my brother is playing Force Unleashed, and I am learning how to play the violin! A really really nice guy at school is lending me his old violin to see if I like it, and he's also teaching me some beginner stuff. I'm so excited! A violin is so much more portable than a piano. Jeez.

In other news, I have a whole 18, 3-panel comic strips mapped out for the Lily, Ace, and Einstein comic! Yeah! They're not in final, good form yet because obviously I'm still making changes. But it's so exciting!

Question: What are some of the most hilarious or weird things that have ever happened to you on the school bus? And Ashley drew me a picture of Zeek, which looks freaking amazing (cough, which she has to send to me to colour, cough), and I'm going to be grading for my brown belt in May, and right now in art class I'm painting a picture of Thor.

Also, for the those of you who don't know, I went to Mexico over Spring Break and stayed in an orphanage to help out. IT. WAS. AMAZING. We had so much fun, and the kids were a blast to play with. We did a bunch of stuff to help, like painting and some of the guys waterproofed the roof, and one night we made four-hundred hotdogs for everyone connected with the orphanage (kids+workers+volunteers). It was so much fun! Some of the, like, 2nd graders ate seven hotdogs. Bleh. We had geckos in our room, which I shared with two other girls, and they screamed, even though the geckos were only as long as my pinky finger. So much fun!

Pretty soon I'll load up the chapter of the Zeek comic I finished. It's absolutely fantastic! Definitely one of my new fav tv shows.

Also, when I gets back, I'ma buy a Woah! Yeah! Yes, no, be quiet. It's a "woah" not a "wii" because "wii" sounds... odd. And I'm never going to say "wiimote" because I feel like a moron. It's a remote. GOSH. Also, I will never understand how people actually let go of their remotes so that they hit the tv. I've heard Brawl is amazing, and I'm getting that too, if I can. I'm so excited!

If you're looking for something interesting to read over Spring Break, try reading "Here, There Be Dragons," by James A. Owen. It's a very good story with several twists... especially at the end. If you like C.S. Lewis, Tolkien, or any stories like that, you'll like this.

The third season of Ben 10 came out on DVD on March 4th, and I'm SO EXCITED. BUT, nonetheless, it was thoroughly enjoyable. I think it would have been better if they had followed the book closer, but hey. Also, I felt the ending left something to be desired, but I think it might be because they're making another one. It was still awesome. GO READ THE BOOK.

Random Question #1 - If you could have any super power, what would it be and why? And, don't say "I'd want to be invisible because then I could sneak up on my friend Matt and punch him without him knowing what hit him." Please put some thought into it.

Random Question #2 - How photographic is your memory?

Random Question #3 - What colour is Saturday?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Whadya do, bust up your ex's car?"
"And her boyfriend's."
"That'll teach 'em."
"They got no witnesses."
"Ssssssweet."

Oh, yeah. Omygarsh Jumper is by Steven Gould and is one of my all time favourite books! The movie doesn't really follow the book, but it's going to be so freaking awesome!!!! READ IT NOW.

[link] <--GO WATCH THE TRAILER

Also, I have two exams tomorrow. I should be studying. So, of course I'm not.
Two things - I super badly need a name for this comic. If you guys want to help, I'd really appreciate it. I want to stay away from names with "moon," "wolf," or anything like that. Thanksabunch.
Also, I don't really want to post them all (if I make it past the first chapter) on DA. Does anyone know which webcomic service thingy is the best/easiest? I'll look into it myself, but any advice you can give would be amazing.
My brother and I used to watch that all the time. We'd get mad if it wasn't a new episode. Good times. What were your favourite old school tv shows? And by that I mean ones that aren't airing anymore. Anyone remember Big Wolf on Campus? Or Pinky and the Brain? Haha oh man. Too much fun. Or Mighty Max for MistressTate?

Anyways, FlyingHam and MistressTate were here over break, and we had some good times. Watched some Monty Python, some Hitchhiker's Guide, some Farty Towels, listened to a bunch of Father Gilbert mysteries, and generally wasted time. And I worked on my comic.

Update! Comic status - in the process of editing and changing the first chapter draft, which should be pencilled out nicely before the break is over. It's coming guys, I promise.
I say "Merry Christmas" because I celebrate Christmas. I'm not trying to leave people out. No hard feelings!
And, hey! I found this really old set of speakers which you can plug into a headphone jack on any audio device, so I'm like "Hey, that means I can listen to mah Zune on de speakers!" But, then I realized that the speakers were missing the adapter to plug into the wall. I wasn't very happy. BUT, by my incredible genius, I took the adapter from my cassette player and plugged it in and she lives! It is very exciting. Be quiet.
It's still snowing here so we have about half a foot of snow on the ground. My brother came up to me this morning and said, "It's not a sheet, or a pillow. It's a blanket." So, NATURALLY, I gave him my best "I-have-no-idea-what-you're-talking-about-so-would-you-please-go-bother-someone-else" look. At which time he promptly began to "sing" (it is impossible to understand what he is saying when this happens).
I have about 50 books to read over break.
I just finished cleaning out every single drawer and cupboard in our kitchen. I am not pleased by this.

Case Closed is the best show ever.

Chapter three is finito! Well, the draft is. 30 whole pages. That brings the total up to 69 pages. Not bad, but a ton of work. So far in the story, we see Zeek get ditched by his friends, who he decides to spy on because he's sick of being ignored. His friends turn out to be wizards who accidentally blast him out of a tree. End chapter one. Later that night, on a full moon, Zeek transforms for the first time, apparently having been turned into a werewolf by his friend's magic. He's freaking out, so he calls them, they come over and have a communal freak out. Also, we see the introduction of some outside conflict. Government groups monitering the town of Crescent notice that there is a huge spike in supernatural energy which will soon start attracting more "weirdos." End chapter two.
In chapter three, we see Zeek start to learn, with help from his friends, how to walk on his new legs, learn about silver and his healing abilities. He gets the staff of doom with the silver buck head. He meets another werewolf named Keith Border, and fights a guy with cat ears. End chapter three.
So that's what I have so far.
More to come!

Hey,
I haven't updated my journal in a while, and I'm supposed to be doing homework right now, so it seems as good a time as any. Anyways, I'm currently drawing a picture of Owen, who's by now feeling rather neglected because the werewolf story has been taking up large portions of my brain.

This is a neat little thing by Mistress Tate. --> Choose a few of your characters and make them answer these questions (no more than 5 chars). Then, tag at least three more people.

And I choose...

Owen, Zeek, Matt (because Ham loves him), and Fitz.

How old are you?
Owen - 16 turning 17
Zeek - 16
Matt - 19
Fitz - 17

What's your height?
Owen - 6'1"
Zeek - 5'9"
Matt - Haha Zeek's short. I'm 6'1"
Fitz - I don't have any legs...

Are you a virgin?
Owen - GAH! Yes!
Zeek - Uh-huh.
Matt - Prolly not. Hard to say. Been unconscious so many times...
Fitz - Yes.

Who's your mate/spouse?
Owen - Nobody.
Zeek - ....AWKWARD!....
Matt - ...
Fitz - Nobody.

Do you have any kids?
All - NO!

What's your favourite food?
Owen - Seafooooooood and CANDY
Zeek - I like meat, I guess.
Matt - Growing up on the street, I can eat just about anything.
Fitz - Umm, I don't want to say.

What's your favourite ice cream flavor?
Owen - I like mint chocolate chip the best!
Zeek - Vanilla.
Matt/Owen/Fitz - VANILLA?!
Zeek - Yeah...?
Fitz - That's so LAME.
Matt - I'll say.
Zeek - Meh! Hey, I didn't ask to be here.

Have you killed anyone?
Owen - No.
Zeek - Do zombies count?
Matt - Regrettably, yes.
Fitz - I DIDN'T DO IT!!!

Do you hate anyone?
Owen - No. But I STRONGLY DISLIKE people.
Zeek - I hate zombies. The goo is a pain to get out of the fur.
Matt - The mayor of my city. Scientists in general.
Fitz - Scientistssssss.

Have any secrets?
Owen - This question has gotten the same response from like seven people already.
Zeek - Secrets from you or from other people? Cause my parents don't know I'm a 'wolf yet...
Matt - I AM a secret.
Fitz - I think Matt's an emo.

Do you love anyone?
Owen - I love my dad. And, maybe this girl in my class...
Zeek - ...
Matt - I don't have time for this.
Fitz - She died.

What is your job?
Owen - Staying freaking alive!
Zeek - Killing zombies and other weirdos that come to our town.
Matt - I'm an assassin and disco enthusiast.
Fitz - I'm a science experiment.

What do you do to relax?
Owen - Fly.
Zeek - What is this 'relax' you speak of?
Matt - Sleep.
Fitz - Sleep.

_________________________________

Haha so that was fun. Sorry if you guys don't know who these people are. Hopefully I'll have more info on my characters in the future.

But, the main character still needs a name, so if you come across a good werewolfy name, please lemme know. Thanks!

Also, if you have any random ideas for this comic whatsoever, please please let me know. Werewolves are so much fun!
Well, I solved two problems... One, why the toaster was stinking up the house, and where Dewey put his dead goldfish.

Just wanted to say hi to everyone I haven't had a chance to see or email! I'm officially back after a seven-week absence. My family and I drove across Canada (I have now been to every single province) all the way to St. John's, Newfoundland. I loved the Maritimes so much!
Then we went down in the States. Maine, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota (WALL DRUG!!), Washington, and a bunch more.
Saw New York City, Boston, Niagara Falls, Confederation Bridge, L'Anse aux Meadows, Quebec City, Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa (YEAH FORUM FOR YOUNG CANADIANS!!), all five Great Lakes, Yellowstone National Park, Grand Tetons, the Badlands, and so much more.
Still, it was nice to come home.
