My teacher has a homework system where we turn in roughs on Thursday (Wednesday for me since I have school Thursday Dx ) then finals are due by midnight Saturday. And this ain't easy stuff that can just be made up on the fly. Now we're getting serious. At least I have Sundays free. Oh no, not entirely. Cuz that's when I have to do my other homework for my other monday class. MEANWHILE working on my other projects for my thursday classes. Yeah, the background class has REALLY thrown me off.

And when will I get my Bible studies done!? The time I hopefully have in-between.

Sorry Apollo, our clients will have to wait.

Anyways, in other news...I hate school. Why couldn't I be smart and just not go to college ? I can't believe it's SO EXPENSIVE. Stupid economy and no jobs . Maybe it'll be ok by the time I'm done with school. I just don't want my step-dad saying "I told you so" when I graduate and have no work ;A;.

Speaking of which I have to turn in a portfolio of some school stuff to the head of the program guy. I hope I can just put it on disc and give it to him. I don't wanna buy a fancy portfolio thing. That's dumb. And I hope I have everything they're asking for. I think they want sketchbook pages....but I draw what I want in my sketchbooks. Not anything they'd want me to be working on. So I'm gonna go and draw a bunch of stuff they want me to be drawing in there now. I have a few weeks.

And I just got a new intuos4 wacom tablet! So that's pretty darn awesome. I've been wanting a tablet for like, a really long time. I mostly need it for school, but I'm hoping to have enough time to use it for fun things too.

So that's $300 right? And now my teacher's like, "go buy a book". Ha. I don't think so.

I'm really glad it came out on the week I get a break from school. So now I can play without the nagging voice in the back of my head telling me to do my homework. CUZ I GOT NO HOMEWORK. Whooooo!

Anyways, I'm just glad a new KH game is out! Yay Roxas! And Demyx is so freakin' cute! I knew this game would make me love him a lot more x3. And of course I'm super glad to be able to spend more time with my long time favorite Zexion . I also like Marluxia . He's so nice to Roxas! Unfortunately the later 2 won't be here for long, because I killed them in Chain of Memories . Darn it all, why couldn't they have killed off ugly people like Xaldin first or something?

I just wish with all my heart that Xion wasn't there. *twitch*

In other news, I'll finally be getting a tablet of my very own soon! I can't wait x3! Tis a gift from those who love me .

And I also bought some new Kingdom Hearts shirts. I FINALLY have a shirt with the heartless symbol on it ! I've been wanting a shirt like that for forever! And I'll soon be getting the KH jacket as soon as I can . Conveniently my next purchase at Hottopic qualifies for the 15% discount, which I'll be using for the jacket .

It's soooo hot here at my brothers house. And lastly, I am SO tired of the smell of smoke. Seriously. Breathing is annoying me at the moment. The fire did look pretty on the freeway though. Too bad it's getting close to burning all those houses.

First off, feel pity for me. I have school during the Summer . Laaaame. Might as well since the tuition goes up in fall.

I've been playing Crisis Core all week. Zack is just the coolest ! And I'm lovin the scenes with baby(15 yr old) Cloud ^.^! I just wish leveling up wasn't random .

Yeah, emo much? It be the truth though. I don't wanna go to school, don't wanna do chores, don't wanna play games, don't wanna draw, don't wanna talk to anyone, don't wanna work. I guess you could say I've been...depressed? Yeah, not the best weekend ever, and it was supposed to be a good one .


I've been playing Crisis Core though (all yesterday in fact) and it helped me get out of my mood quite a bit. Thank you ~Riku-stalker! And thank you Zack . He's so super kewl!

I also started watching this new anime Funimation dubbed called Big Windup. Am I spelling that right lol? Anyway, it's a baseball anime, and I hate sports, but this show is so great! I'm lovin' it lots! The main guy cracks me up SO much! You guys should go check it out on funimations youtube channel! Yup! That's right, you can watch it legally and in high quality for free . They only got 4 episodes up right now though. I look forward to the fifth and so on!

Sigh...I've been thinking a lot lately about quitting college. I mean, I think I'd be happy just working part-time wherever, staying home to take care of my responsibilities, and drawing for a hobby and to sell things like at cons and stuff. That way I'd have money for what I want instead of spending it on projects and materials. I want to enjoy my manga, anime, and games in peace.

BUT IT'S TOO LATE FOR THAT.

I mean, I like school and all, but with the economy so crappy and everything who's to say I'll even GET a job that I'm taking school for? But if I quit, then I have to immediately pay back all my loans. I haven't even been at the Art Institute for a year and I calculated my loans to total nearly 10,000 dollars >_o. SO I'M STUCK . I don't even have a job to pay that all back.

Why didn't just listen to my mother in the first place? Whhhyyyyyy.

First of all, FMA: Brotherhood is out! Or I should say, available for watching on the internet....legally! 'Tis quite different, and I don't like that they changed Roy's voice (Toru Okawa, WHY?! Where did you goooo ;.; ) or that Michiru Oshima is no longer the composer. I'll live I suppose .

Long story short, I ended up buy a manga to a new series I had previously known nothing about. I NEVER do that. But oh my gawd I'm am SO in love! I've read this book 5 times in a matter of days. And that's a lot for me. I usually don't read my manga a third time for MONTHS. Anyways, it's called Otomen. It's basically about a (really hot) super awesome jock guy who has girly interests and hobbies. And here's the best part. HE'S STRAIGHT. He's always hidden his feminine side, but then he falls in love with this one girl and he can't help but be girly xD. It's quite fun, and well drawn. I have no issues with the art whatsoever. As ~Riku-stalker would say, it's LUSCIOUS. So go give it a look!


Also, somehow I stumbled across this music video....and oh my goodness gracious. I am obsessed. Totally and utterly obsessed!

I love this song SO MUCH. And nope, it's not Japanese. It's Korean actually. But seriously, I just can't stop listening to this song. It's supposed to be for a new girl group that's to debut in May, and for this song they sing it with their senior group Big Bang. I found a download for it yesterday (SO HAPPY) and I've been listening to it constantly ever since. I'm lovin' Korean Hip-Hop lol.

And guess what? I'M COSPLAYING OMG LOL WHAT THE HECK.

~Riku-stalker rounded up me and a few other friends for a cosplay group. We will all be characters from Deathnote. With her extreme love for all that is Light, ~Riku-stalker will be dressed as Light Yagami. With my pale complexion and large eyes, I have been designated as L! He's the only thing I really like from Deathnote lol. We also have a Near, and hopefully a Mikomi.

I never really planned on cosplaying, but now it's gonna happen. I've always kinda wanted to, but I've always thought I would bring shame to any character I try to dress up as . I still think so, but my buddy really wants me to cosplay.

With that in mind, I was thinking I wanna use my natural hair. So I got it chopped off recently just to get a feel for how I should get it cut for Expo. ~Riku-stalker came to my house and we took her to go get hers cut off too, to be like light x). We just gotta dye her hair in June for the con. Mine will be dyed black then too. Now my mother is telling me she won't let me die my hair black?! Noooooooo! L isn't the same without black hair! She says she'd rather buy me a wig...We'll see...

Anyways, I'm a bit blonde for now. Golden blonde doesn't look good on me, so I'm going for an ash blonde. Which will hopefully get done today, but probably not.

I have also been trying to lose weight. Not just for my cosplay, but for my clothes xD;. Nothing fits anymore D:! So we'll see how that goes!

School is going....ok. Hopefully I'll pass my classes! I hate all the applying and crap for cal grants and stuff though Dx. (What do you mean I have to resend my GPA by Monday?!)

AND! I have discovered the beauty of online shopping. My debit card eases my life somewhat . With everything closing down (including my favorite and only anime store!!! oh noes!) I think this will be something I'm gonna have to do more of. For my anime stuff at least. I like getting things in the mail anyway xD. The waiting is what sucks though!

We got a room as soon as we got there (though we entered from the wrong entrance, so we had to go through the con before we got to the hotel registration. Riku-stalker's parents got down with us to help us get the room. With all the animetards and cosplayers around, they were horrified, to say the least xD), and it happened to be conveniently on the lobby floor :woot:! So we never had to wait for a crowded elevator. Plus, the room was all the way straight down the hall, so there was really no noise to disturb our sleep (except for the one room across from us), and it was a slightly bigger room so we were able to spread out and enjoy .

It was our buddies first anime con, so she was a little overwhelmed at first . And she was sick, so it's not like we could run around (as I'm used to doing when the situation calls for it). Turns out, I got a killer sore throat Friday night and didn't sleep very well . It bugged me a little Saturday and I felt slightly feverish at times, but I was ok because riku-stalker brought Tylenol and gave me some vitamin c fizzy drink thing (thanks buddy!). I also forced my self to drink tea (or as I call it, leaf juice). Seriously, who thought it was a good idea to put leafs in water and drink it? Bleh! Nasty stuff. I even tried putting in sugar and honey, but that pretty much didn't help it AT ALL.

Anyway, here's the run down of the highlights for the con...


FRIDAY - First day! Woot! We missed the opening ceremonies, but that's ok. We hit the artists alley first. Many things were commissioned throughout the weekend. MANY. recognized me from ALA 08 and AnimeExpo 08! She draws beautifully . The majority of my friends commissions went her way lol.

We went to Derek Stephen Prince's panel. Before it started we got to talk with him and had him say a line from one riku-stalker's comic's lol. ("He was just wondering the fields!") It's hard to explain, you'd have to read the comic .

We went to the AMV's for a bit, mostly anticipating the comedy category. I laughed so hard last year! This year was not so great. I laughed a little on like...1 or 2, but for the most part I was unimpressed. The last thing on our schedule was the Eyeshine(VA Johnny Yong Bosch and his band)concert. I finally got to buy their CD!!! I've been waiting since September Dx. We ate at the Con Suite then retired to our room. Didn't go to bed til 2 in the morning though! Lots of drawings were produced by ~Riku-stalker. I doubt she'll put any of them up though.


SATURDAY - I ALMOST DIED. I wook up at 6 in the morning because my throat was killing me DX. So for 2 hours I laid in bed listening to my Zune (his name is Neku btw :> ). At 8 I was starving so I quickly put on a jacket and jeans an went exploring on my own while the others slept (they didn't even know I had left and come back D: lol). Friday we had failed to find the Con Suite (free food!) so I set a goal to find it. Well whaddya know! I found it on my own :/. They didn't open til 10 though so I walked around a little more then went back to properly prepare for the day. I had time, so I curled my hair (VERY important, little did I know...)After everyone woke up and got ready, we went to eat breakfast at the con suite.

I couldn't wait for VA Johnny Yong Bosch's panel! Turns out we were late (HOW DID THAT HAPPEN) and had to sit a good distance off to the side . Turns out Johnny had a bad morning too with the con staff, which is really not cool of the staff considering he was the guest of honor! So yeah, been playing Re:Chain of Memories since I bought it last Tuesday X3. It's so great to know what everyone sounds like! Especially Zexion my love . Larxene and Vexen (Derek Stephen Prince) came out especially good also. I was impressed . Of course Riku was great. Ummm, oh yeah, and it takes a while to get used to hearing little Sora talk like big Sora .

It's odd though, the only Org.13 returnee is Quinton Flynn for Axel...but he sounds so DIFFERENT. He's a bit proper sounding for some reason. Has anyone else noticed this? Me and ~Riku-stalker call him British Axel now lol. If we ever meet Quinton Flynn, we wanna ask why he did that xD.

Speaking of Axel, Riku-Stalker is a HUGE Axel fan, but my fav member is Zexion (besides Roxas of course). And playing yesterday I happened to pass the part where Zexion dies...(SADNESS ;A;!) And do you know WHY he dies? BECAUSE AXEL KILLED HIM. Well technically he got the Riku Replica to do it, BUT STILL. It was his idea D:!!!



Oh well, Axel does die too, so I guess Zexion's avenged?

Anyway, I got LOTS of Re:CoM art planned out, so expect it xD.

*deep breath* Alrighty here it goes! So ya'll know about Xion? The 14th member in Organization 13?...HOW 'BOUT NO. I mean, I know she's gonna have to die by the end of the game (we never hear of her in KHII), but still! Her existence, the mere fact that they invented her pisses me off! Anyway, so about AnimeExpo 2009! Me and my friends ~hihihellokitty and ~xTainted-Halo were thinking of trying to get a table in the artists alley. I'm not entirely sure how to go about it though. I'm the "adult" here, so I'm gonna have to look into it and be the one to buy it and blah blah blah. I also have to get the hotel for that matter. Sigh, I hate having to be so responsible Dx. lol, but it'll be fun! So just wondering, would any of you buy my stuff there? I don't know what to make a print of though. Any suggestions? What would you guys wanna buy? What should I draw? I wanted to make a print of my deviation "Ramen and Tomatoes". Of course it would be WITHOUT the watermark. Also, do you think I should keep the words at the top? Or sell it without the words?

For those of you who don't know, he's the VA for Vash the Stampede in Trigun, Kiba in Wolf's Rain, Claus in Lastexile, Lelouch in Code Geass, and Ichigo in Bleach, among others.

Anyway, I drew something for him to sign! And he liked it! Told me to rock on . His panel was great ( ~Riku-stalker's first panel, she was so excited!), I got it all on camera, albeit the first 10 minutes probably. Don't know why I didn't think of filming the panel in the first place. He's sooooo funny! His gestures are great too! Anyway, I'll put the link to my youtube when I get the videos up. I also got some vids of his band Eyeshine. I went to their concert. SO AWESOME! I wish I could have bought a CD, but I didn't have enough money...at least not if I wanted to eat any food that day. But I wanted that CD so bad! Next time though!

I also got to meet Kyle Herbert. I saw him at AnimeLA but didn't get that much of a chance to talk to him. My favorite character of his is Kiba from Naruto. He ended up eating lunch with us Saturday ! How awesome is that?! And I love how he makes Kiba a bit G status lol. Arf, arf, yo!

Anyways, 2 great guys. Can't wait to see them again at next years AnimeLA.

I got signatures from all the voice actors there, including Robert Axelrod (Armadillomon and Wizardmon among others ), a lady whose name I forgot (sorry!) and Erika Weinstein. Erika is soooo nice, and pretty! I told her that and she said I had great hair 8D. Which is what she wrote down before I had said anything. I didn't know until she told me she did because I didn't read it right away. Anyway, she told me my hair was the first thing she noticed when I walked in the room. AWESOME! I'm excited about the game she's in called The Last Remnant by SquareEnix. I must go learn more about it! What sucks though, is I wanted a pic with her but I didn't think about it till it was too late D:.

I also got pics of some great cosplayers. Including some hot ones . Don't know how to show you here though.

I have officially decided I'm not too fond of larger conventions. And I HATE Los Angeles...stupid , STUPID convention center D:! It smelled outside, the food inside was expensive, there was no food nearby outside, had to walk down 5 or somethin' blocks in the blazin' heat!, crappy service at Denny's when we did get there, got back late to the con and didn't get in to ANY signings because they would close the STUPID lines (fire hazard how?!), I was dehydrated (didn't figure that out till later lol), masquerade line was unbelievably long, and the people on stage at the dance were super creepy and gross....phew! I also went with a group of friends too big for my liking. It's hard to keep up with so many people D:>. I'd rather not keep track of 10 people next time.

Oh yeah, and there were plenty of people I was perfectly willing to call the cops on. I am NEVER taking any kids to AnimeExpo.

As for the good, I got to talk to Vic Mignogna...for like 10 seconds (too many people!). But anyway, he remembered me ! Yay! And then later while we were chillin' on the floor, we met this super nice girl. She just randomly came up to my friend and asked what she was drawing. We chatted with her a while. She's so cute and sweet! She even bought us some fries ;_;! Tammy was her name, and she drew me and one of my friends cute pics of us. She also invited us to her house if we were ever in LA again . She was 18 like myself but just moved out here from...Taiwan I think? Anyways, we felt real bad leaving her when we went on our wild goose chase for the masquerade.

Hm, oh yeah, and I saw Jack Sparrow go up against 5 ninjas with a blow up Chiquita Bonita Banana...lol.

EDIT: Forgot to mention 'cause I typed this in a rush, but will now, due to my free time...

I also met up with a girl there that I had met on Youtube earlier that week. She's from Hawaii and was gonna be there all alone, so I told her I'd meet her there and hang out with her. Cons aren't as fun when you're by yourself. If any of you are going to a con that I'm going to in the future, and you need someone to hang out with, or you just wanna say hi, I'd totally love to ! But anyways, lots of Vic! I got so many pics with him, and hugs! Many hugs. Not to mention, he kissed my forehead! And he was always patting my hair ^^. Oh-em-gee he is SO nice! He signed lots of my stuff too. I was so happy to get front row for all his panels. Easiest to take pics and video that way.

I was also pleasantly surprised to find out Vic plays Takenaga in The Wallflower. I love that show! Someone asked Vic who was the best lady's man he played, and he could only think of Dark. I suggested Takenaga and he hugged me in thanks for reminding him. He choked me for not being a Risembool Ranger though, lol fun stuff.

And Michele, his girlfriend, is soooo nice! I sat right next to her for 3 conecutive panels. I let her have my seat so she could sit in the front row. We took "myspace pics" lol. She's so fun .

And oh my gosh we even got talk with Vic and Michele by ourselves! No crazy crowd of fangirls around ! The closing ceromny was going on, but Vic left so we went to go eat. That's when we bumped into them again. So we got to say good-bye and take some last photos.

So so SO awesome! Seriously, the HAPPIEST day of my life! It's been nearly a week, but I'm still excited! They're so funny and nice! I bought Vic's Metafiction CD (that he signed). I love it! Such pretty songs. Sad one's too. And funny one's like Soldier A and Legend of Middle Tennessee. I REALLY wanted a Risembool Ranger t-shirt too, but I didn't have enough money ;_;. Vic's girlfriend was really nice and told me I could call her down from the main desk and get the shirt the next day, but I wasn't able to go back! It's not like I live there. I'm still upset about that. I want one so bad! Especially since they were the last shirts of that kind. Major tears I cry D:.

Anyways, on a happier note, I got signatures from them and took pics with them. I asked Vic to sing Brothers . I got a hug from Vic too! I swear that was the best hug EVER! Seriously he gives really good hugs, adding to the fact that it's him. After that, amongst the many questions I asked, I asked Vic to say a line from Phantom Dark. And Aaron has the prettiest eyes! Oh my feakin' gosh! They're like a greyish green. They don't come out like that in the pics sadly. That's boys so chill . Whatever he's says is funnier 'cause he's says it so calm. He's barely turning 15 this month, and he's so tall! I got a sig from him for my friend and I called her while he was doing it. He wanted to talk to her (so cute!). So she got to talk to him! She owes me her life . Muahaha. For some reason he asked what she was wearing lol. I'll forever and always remember the way he laughed with his head thrown back. Her answer was alittle weird xD.

2) I sometimes prefer to call tv shows, movies, and video games by the name of the main character, instead of the rightful title (ex. FMA= Edward, KH= Sora, D.N.Angel= Daisuke etc., etc,...). This is because I have a little sister and that's how she knows most things, by the characters, not the title. So that's how I HAVE to refer to them at home...and it just sticks.

3) I can sometimes make up short songs about random things that I see around me (like one was about this empty Sunny Delight bottle on the floor in a "river"). This usually happens when I'm very happy....and they ryhme.

4) I love anime and video game guys a lot (I don't think this is wierd, but apparently some do). I won't look at real guys for the life of me though D:. And I'm not really interested in real male actors at all. I just don't think it's worth it. Not to say I don't EVER look at real guys (there's always exceptions), I just won't fall in love with 'em.

5) I LOVE milk. And I drink plenty of it. It pretty much a neccessity. No milk = angry me. I can drink a whole gallon in a week by myself if I really wanted to.

6) I wil NEVER cry while watching a live-action movie, no matter how sad (Except for the Titanic when I was 6 yrs old the first time I saw it. And why did I cry? When Rose dropped the Blue Diamond in the ocean at the very end. That was so tragic). Especially if it's a chick flick. But while watching anime I can cry buckets of tears. (Samurai X? Cried on every single DVD. Grave of the Fireflys? Byt the end I was bawling). I usually don't cry the second time though.

[link]. Haver any of you ever seen the movie Grave of the Fireflies? I just finished watching it and...I have NEVER cried so much watching a movie. It was sooo SAAAAD. Everybody dies T_T! When the guys little sister died, I didn't cry till he had to burn her and they were showing a scene of her playing and what not while he was away trying to get food for them. They did that and I was like, ".....here they come!" and just started crying a river. It was just omg. Not to mention the boy dies too. It just like, ends all of a sudden! I was all, "WHAT THE CRAP?!?!?!". What was the point of that story?! I am NEVER watching that movie again TxT.

I love Netflix X3. They have alll sorts of anime on there. So I get to see Pilot Candidate (Candidate for Goddes). Very awesome manga, totally cool anime. I'm soooo gonna do some fabart of that. I gotta! If you haven't heard of that series then.....I dunno. They don't print it anymore, so....yeah. Love it though.

Oh yeah, and school started. Slowest week of my life. Cool classes though. I'm taking Drawing/Painting and Multimedia Design. People say, "You should be an artist!"....But what does that mean O.o? I know I wanna draw, but somehow I'm not sure I can make a living off it....What jobs are there ofr artists anyway?

I've always had this idea in my head since I was little that I was gonna make it big as soon as I graduated and would never have to work at an Albertsons or something. Obviously that's not gonna happen -_-;;. I'm not even sure if that awesome job will ever come, or how to get one. everyone always tells me I've got the makings of someone who's gonna make lots of money. But I don't see that happening. Especially when I see the drawings of some people on here. And it doesn't seem like I'll ever be that good o_o...People say I'd make a great business person, but I dunno .
