Starz has just approved the making of a live-action adaptation of the hit anime Noir. Considering the track record(or lack thereof) of converting anime to live action, I understand many are skeptical. However, I for one am cautiously optimistic about its potential. Still no word on who would play the main characters or any of the casting for that matter, but it's likely that more news will come out by this year.

For those who remain oblivious to the anime world, Noir was one of the hit anime of 2001. It came to the US a couple of years later under the former ADV Films. I have all the DVDs and I must say it's a killer(pardon the pun). Anyway, now they're in the process of making a remake of the series. And with 10th anniversary of the anime coming next year, expect more news by then.

I think Joint Assault will be good, but just this alone tells me this is better. Although I've played AC6 in the 360, I've been surviving on HAWX for a little over a year now, but it's not the same as my benevolent Ace Combat saga. It's called Briefing 1, and it's supposed to be played when pilots are given their orders for their mission.
