I got a job downtown in SoHo at an ad agency for a couple months.  I had a pretty fun time creating new campaigns for products like Clearasil, Gardasil, and Sunny D, and I got to meet lots of exciting people and go to lots of exciting places.  I was the only designer there, though, so I was entirely overworked and often felt like I was being taken advantage of, so I quit.  When the ads come out, I'll let you know which ones I did :]

Commissions are officially closed.  I've honestly taken more than I should have, and TOKYOPOP has recently contacted me with another job offer so that just makes finishing these even harder.  College + BlueBlood + (Additional) TOKYOPOP Manga = VERY Busy Ryan.  I'm trying, though, so don't start throwing rotten tomatoes at me just yet ^_^

When I re-open commissions later on, I'll only be taking five slots at a time, and prices will be two to three times higher.  It's just that these things take sooo much of my time and $20 just ain't cutting it.  That'll pay for a movie and a small popcorn in NYC... that's about it lol

I just finished all 759 pages of Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows and I think my eyes are bleeding from reading so much O_O;  It was über awesome: I laughed, I gasped, and I cried a lot because I'm a girly-girl.  I'm glad nobody ruined the ending for me like they did in book 6 (apparently *somebody* killed *someone*, ahem..) so this time I was like WTF?!?! every other page until the very end.  Can't wait for the movie!
