I had a prosperous discussion recently in some other site.

Someone told me that the heads of my drawings are narrow, the comment surprise me a little, but not because it was a bad thing, but it makes me think about and I began to analyze my works.

And after looking through my gallery, I found that I'm mistaken, yes, and my mistake is that I say I draw Anime/Manga style characters, this is false. At the beginning was true, but not anymore, my works now are less anime/manga than before, the only aspects that are anime/manga are their eyes, mouth, nose, and hair.

Their bodies are not the kind of "standard" anime/manga style, the shape of their heads are not round like this [link] and thinking about this I realize that I do the shape of them more "realistic" in some kind of way : [link]

, people don't have a perfect round head

, that's why the shape of the head of my characters don't fit in Manga style.

All this makes me realize that I didn't notice before that I'm leaving away the manga style. My sister told me that my works looks more like comic style than Anime/manga

and maybe she's right.

I'm not afraid of this, because I have noticed that all this only means that I have now a style, but I need to say that my works are not Anime/Manga anymore. At least not 100% , now I will have problems with the category for my drawings LOL!

Wow I've never thought that a member of square could say that a character from one game of the series could be the most powerful, Motomu Toriyama Director of Final Fantasy XIII said "the heroine, Lightning, is the most powerful woman in the entire series" WOW! so Tifa, Rinoa, Garnet, Ashelia, Terra, and so many females are nothing compared with this "Lightning".

So.... they gave the most "Powerful woman in the entire series" title to the less Original female character in the entire series, She's just a fusion of some characters, Ashelia, the fighting style of Devil may Cry and Jo from Burst angel anime [link] Holy Crap even the other character: Oerba Dia Vanille have the same concept from Meg from Burst angel (the redhair on the photo).

And Yes I don't like the idea of this, they gave this "powerful" title to one of the most recycled characters on the entire series.

In some kind of way I feel happy because of this. At the beginning I don't even trusted in my OCs but now is totally different, I enjoy drawing them

I know that my two OCs aren't the best around, not the most original, not the most attractive, but I'm proud of them

This doesn't mean that I will stop doing Fan art, but right now my priority are my two babes

I began to realize that I'm a weird fanatic, I like what others don't like much, recently I have a discussion with someone about Ashelia, much people only knows that she's a videogame character, she's not popular like some other Final Fantasy Girls, It looks like even Penelo or Fran have more Fans. Everyone loves Aeris, Tifa, Rikku , Yuna, Celes, Terra, etc, etc, etc.

The same happen with Lenneth, people don't know about her, just a few know about the game, some time ago someone asked me if she was my Original Character LOL! That was really weird

Another one is Tina Armstrong, nobody cares about her, the most popular females from Dead or Alive are : Kasumi , Ayane and Hitomi. People often believes that Tina is Tsunade !!!! LOL! Damn Naruto ! :shakefish:

I believe that Tina is more ancient than Tsunade , So Tsunade looks like Tina

So it seems that I like the unpopular girls for some strange reason.

This is a little controversial, here at DA it's a total taboo and some people fight for have the reason about what is Porn, Erotica, Artistic nude, or whatever, I'm not afraid of people that hates this kind of art, because they don't owns this site, I just need to respect the rules and everything will be fine. This is about SAI, yes, the software I've been using lately.

I can't find an strong difference between using SAI and PS, just a few things that don't have importance ( I hope so

).

One of them is the colors, more bright colors with SAI, I don't know if this is good or bad or whatever , but I believe that the drawings looks more like manga or anime

Another thing is that it's a little bit easier to work with Sai than PS BUT the Filters and effects are better using PS.

So Sai is a way better for drawing and sketching , but PS it's a lot better than SAI when you use effects. So I need to use both of them

In other news... I now that you've noticed that Golden is everywhere now here on my page

well it's strange but suddenly I began to feel the necessity to draw her, and I like it, I have tons of images in my mind and Golden appears in all of them

, maybe I'm crazy?, obsessed?, or it's just that Golden deserves all this attention? Who knows , but the fact is I'll not stop drawing her for a while

Hello to all, sorry for disappear like that But I took some vacations of all this, seriously I was stressed, so I decided to go away for awhile. I was playing Ragnarok lol! yes, a mid-rate server, just for fun. And Alice and Golden accompanied me

, well in fact there is just 1 drawing right now, and is not finished yet, but is nothing special I just made it for practice purposes, Sai practice actually, I used to make the lineart with Sai and coloring with Photoshop, but this time the whole drawing is colored with Sai, I'll use Photoshop to make some improves later (maybe). I think the drawings made it with Sai have an "Anime" look, at least that's how I see them

I'm a bit surprised about this, because I always thought that blondes had more sex appeal or popularity, but with the poll I've posted I realize that they have not much impact like before, maybe there is some reason to this, maybe Golden is not Hot enough

She told me that Alice and Golden aren't Ocs because they don't have a backstory , personalities...etc, in a word : nothing , she said : they are just porn. For the people who don't know who the hell are Alice and Golden, they are my Original Characters.

I feel happy somehow because the way they looks now, because I never thought that someday they can be here. It's just that Alice it's one of my very first OC in my whole life, I was 15 or 16 years old when I drew her for the first time ( with clothes of course

) so it's quite a while since the first time I met her, Golden it's more new , just a 7 years ago since I drew her.

At the beginning I just don't like her so much ( Alice ) but I'm always drew her from time to time, and every time i did little changes on her, but her hair it's almost identical from the first time

, the mayor change is that the first time I drew her she looks like a 17 years old girl

But now she has grown, A LOT !!!

So Alice now have like 25 years old and Golden like 23 or 22 , or at least this is the way I see them

well, well, well , enough, I don't want to bore you with this

Something similar happen to the Original Valkyrie Profile for PlayStation One, just Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria Gets more attention than the others.

The Fact is that the same goes for the FanArt, almost nothing can be found, it's really sad

That's why I'm doing this ( make so many drawings of Lenneth ), I know I know , my drawings are not so good enough BUT It's better than nothing
