My boyfriend pinches Photopshop and Illustrator afterwards, this ensues:

Found Photoshop CS2.

Still snowed under with music. Got singing eisteddfods this week.

I'm getting a new laptop before the September holidays, I'm hoping for 4GB ram, 2.2-ishGhz Duo-core and 512MB Graphics. It's going to be a toshiba because my dad can get one cheap. (I wanted a Dell )-: )

It will be kick-ass, I'm sure.

Still incredibly busy see [link] for details.

So, for the last week deviantart hasn't been working on ANY of the computers in my house. I was ready to cry every time I opened dA and was confronted with a bunch of links and plaintext. I couldn't view my messages or deviantions of even people's gallery's!

I tried a bunch of things and none of them worked. (Working now but I'm not sure what did it...)

I also happened to get my hands on the RC of windows7.
My laptop's a piece of junk and is likely to die in the next six to eight months. And my dad was curious about it but doesn't want to test it on his computer. It's alright, I just wanted to format my computer so that was good enough for me.

BUT!!!
I have to install all my programs AND...

I've lost my copy of photoshop!!!!!!

But I'll be getting CS3 soon!!!!

Urgh... so much homework...

Ok so, I've been super-mega busy with homework and music and stuff.
I haven't drawn anything for about a month.

Ok, for any who might like to know, I am taking four subjects, each are 150 hour pre-tertiary courses.

- Mathematics Methods
My maths teacher is pretty cool but she loves giving out assignments. I'm being completely serious when I say that we have had double the amount of assignments as everyone else. She actually goes around and gets the assignments from other classes and gives them to us.

- Physical Sciences
Half a year of Physics, half of Chemistry. We're doing physics first. I like Chem so much better though. Need it to do Chemistry next year.

- English Writing
I need an english subject to get into university so I'm doing creative writing on a pre-tertiary level.
One of the advantages of this course is that I don't have to sit an exam. I submit a folio of 8,000 words that will be externally assessed at the end of the year.

- Music
I love music, it's my passion.
I'm doing the composition module so I don't have to do a practical exam.
Inspiration for that is hard.

Another thing that's taking up my time is music practice.

- Piano
I'm doing an exam in the middle of the year for practice, not really serious enough to do one at my level (I'm about AMEB Grade 7) So I'm doing Grade 3.

- Cello
Sue's got me up to my eyeballs in practice. I'm entering the eisteddfods and doing my Grade 6 exam at the end of the year.

- Singing
Entering the eisteddfod in two sections, the solo and a song from a musical.

I'm also very involved in sport.

- Underwater Hockey
I coach a highschool team once a week and I play on another.

- Weightlifting
Yes, Chuggy has got to me.
I train twice a week and it's really good fun. I'm getting quite toned; it's amazing.
My biceps stand out heaps and my quads are getting huge!

I've been a bit behind on how I should be going though because I was at work, fell and hurt my back.
Turns out I mis-aligned my pelvis and some of my lumbar vertebrae. I went to the Physio and she fixed it. But it has also been found that I'm so flexible that my back has trouble keeping straight. I'm hypermobile. Basically, my joints and ligaments are stretchy and I have all sorts of problems (Flat feet, hyper-extended joints and I also find that in playing sport that I have to be careful that I pay attention to my shoulders as I've nearly dislocated them several times before.)

Anyway, enough about my freaky body.

I will TRY to get some art done but I doubt I will be able to submit much in the school term in the next two years or so.

Got back from TYO Camp up north yesterday.
Boy, was mum surprised when I rang her up at 2:30 in the morning to tell her that I was coming home though.
Simon drove me home immediately after the concert, hence the early arrival. Poor thing, his low-lights weren't working so he had to high-beam it all the way and everyone coming the opposite way to us were flashing and giving us the finger so he felt really guilty.

Camp was ok, I got there on the second day because of summer school and overall it was fun. We played Finlandia by sibelius which was a piece of cake and the firebird suite by stravinsky; not so easy. It didn't help that our tutor was an arrogant prick (Second year at sydney con, very good soloist and he knew it). He actually left halfway though my first sectional saying that "The music is too hard and I can't really help you so you can do some private practice" and then went to a coffee shop. He didn't actually take a sectional on the last day.

I made friends with the Tuba player and he taught me how to play a bit. (I also got to sit on his lap but that's just because he was gay)

The concert was a success though and they even put on fireworks for us!

Back to maths summer school tomorrow.

I'm not sure I like then new look and I'm disappointed because I've lost my folders!!!!
But a subby is too expensive for me, poor, little, broke student.

Anyway.
I went up for UWH nationals and my Junior Development team came fifth, we missed out on finals by one goal in our 'goals against' stats. (I was the Vice-Captain by the way)
The women's team that I also play in came third.
Presentaion Night a.k.a "The big piss-up" was pretty fun, I got to watch everyone do stupid drunk people things (including my Aunt -_-;;;;;; ).
I got hit-on by several boys which was awkward. (They were all over 18 and my boyfriend was with me)
Apparently I was a point of discussion at the afterparty too. (Basically the whole WA Team decided I was good looking 0.o;;; )

I visited two theme parks (wet 'n' wild and seaworld) and had lots of fun!!!!

I have a nice tan too.

I got home and had a few suprises in the mail and they weren't the kind that makes you feel like jumping with joy either.
I got my practice part for the Stravinsky Firebird Suite which is really scary because there is stuff and I haven't seen before and don't know how to play but the most aweful thing I found was that MY CELLO STRINGS DIED IN THE HEATWAVE!!!!

$500 of goodness gone!!!!!!
Well, My C survived but my 'A' and 'D' are dead. i.e. sound like crap.

Luckily I'm going up north and can probably buy new ones but still!!!!

I'm going to be really busy over the next week because I have maths summer school AND orchestra camp.

Anyway, enough for now.

I'm off school until it finishes! (yay!) My doctor loves me, she gave me the last two weeks off due to a virus. (I was sick for 3 days and now I'm bumming around)

I failed my learner's licence 4 times and I'm going again tomorrow. EPICFAIL

I won the school music subject award and am in contention for dux!

It's peach season!!!!

I'll be going to see twighlight with my significant other for our 6 month at gold class on thursday!

Please note: I'm not a fan of twilight in fact, I loathe it. But he loves it so I'm taking out for a treat.
Stephenie Meyer is a crazy fangirl who thought to inflict her fanfictionish story about SHINY vampires and a masochist mary-sue for a main character with a single plot for FOUR volumes!..............etc.etc. I won't rant... yet.

Q: Christine, WHY THE HELL ARE YOU BOMBARDING US WITH CRAPPY PAINTING-MANIPS THAT ALL LOOK THE SAME?!
A: Because it's helping me to learn about painting style, anatomy, colour theory, shading and all other things that I have to learn because I AM DONE WITH ANIME STYLE!!!...... for now.

We didn't win a single game but we still got so much experience! (We drew against the Victorian Development team)

The presentation night was pretty cool, it was at luna park and I went on my first ever rollercoaster *Shot*
Me and Susan screamed our heads off at the same time and we had to hold down our tops on the upside down spinning thing.
My coach slipped half our team beer and just about everyone got hammered except me. I got a tad depressed while watching my crush following another girl with a dopey grin on his face.

Yes, I'm unco but that's because of the stupid snap-in shoes. (I like the shoes, hate the snap-in bit) It's kinda like, I unclip the right one, lean to that side and fall over left.
My bike is really cool but it's hard to ride, it's a specialised (brand) racing bike so the wheels are about an inch thick and when you hit a bump it's kinda scary because you feel like you're gonna fall off and it hurts because their is no suspension on the front or back.

All I can say is OUCH! I'm probably going to do it again next week.

If you want to know how to send notes, all you need to do is go to your notes inbox, write a new note and type in the name of the deviant you're sending a note to.

Why is it that all the contests that I entered put up new deadlines? I want them to be done already. It's silly.

Edit: I just got an A3 Sketch book and I've got some awesome sketches BUT... My scanner is only A4 TT____TT;;;;; *Bashed head on desk*

I have a weeks computer ban, posting only at school for the moment.

My face was all hot and my feet went kinda tingly but I got out of the pool to the team meeting. After the meeting Ian, our coach, asked us to put away the walls but I felt rather aweful as my legs had gone numb so I sat there with my head in my hands. Then he saw me and ran off to get my dad. then they laid me down on the seats and elevated my feet (which aparently were BLUE). My lower legs, hands and face were numb and tingly.
Dad says that my blood pressure must have dropped and my body started shutting down so all the blood goes to your core.

Well at least Ian's stopped calling me 'Christy'.
'Cept now he's being a total suck-up.

I think I got it from my youngest sister who is currently lying on the couch, wrapped up in blankets.

I started feeling ill in english and by the time I got on the bus I know I was quite sick. I swear I was going to lose it. I feel like I'm gonna lose it now. Urgh.

I'm going to missing out on a gig at the casino with the ogilvie strings. And I have recordings due next week for a scholarship application and I haven't had much time to practice.

I'm going to get my sisters to hand in my assignments tomorrow.

Legal Stuff
-The lineart cannot be claimed as your own and you must provide a disclaimer in the Author's Notes stating that I am the legal owner of said lineart. [link]
-Lineart cannot be used without permission after contest finishes.
-The detail "CopyrightÂ©Raenm.deviantart.com" must be preserved.

Rules
-You may submit traditional, digital and any other forms of media.
-Send me a note titled "Contest Entry" with a link.
-Voting will commence after deadline, first prize shall be judged my me and any other prizes will be chosen by contestants. 3 preferential votes each will be allocated to each contestant if more than 8 entries are submitted.
-No bullying or harrassment towards other contestants in order to recieve their votes.
-If you say that you will enter you must submit an entry or I will not accept entries into future contests, unless a very good excuse is presented. (If you give notice within 48 hours of the closing date, you are exempt from being blacklisted.)

And I would be given the mother of all stares if I went out and kissed the wireless adapter.

I had 80 deviations and 79 messages when I returned, forgive me if I didn't read your journal, I only read the ones with interesting titles. Same with deviations.

Dad came second in the challenge, that is amazing, he is a skinny fit bastard.
He lost 20 minutes in the mountain bike leg because of a wrong turn and another 10 minutes when he nearly passed out on a sugar low coming down the mountain (running). Luckily there was an SES guy who gave him some chocolate.

SES guy: Are you ok?
Dad: No.
SES guy: What do you need?
Dad: Water and SUGAR
SES guy: *goes away and returns with half a block of old gold(dark chocolate)*

But he did really well! it was nasty enough to be in it with a team, let alone as an individual.

First day: Run, Roadrace, Kayak, Mountain bike. Time: around 7 hours.
Second day: Kayak (about 5 people capsized on the first lap), Roadrace (He passed about 15 people and nearly threw up), Mountain Bike (lost 20 mins), Run(Over the mountain and up and down the wineglass bay beach!!! Nearly passes out)

That is EPIC!!!

I had so much fun!!!

I spent 4 days is Beijing and that seemed like two weeks because of all the tours we did.
Then we drove to tianjin which has the major shopping street and lots of cheap stuff.
After staying overnight we drove back to bejing, picked up my cell phone from the hotel (I left it XD) and then beijing airport and we flew to tunxi (twunshi). Then we got a cable car up huangshan and stayed there overnight. The views were breath taking...
Flew to shanghai and stayed three days. We were pretty tired by then... Zzzz
Went on a cruise and I've forgotten most of what we did.

I can remember the 30 hours we spent in the airport and on planes on the way back though... *shudders*

I unpacked my suitcase, it was 9kg when I went over and it returned 20kg...

I has a lovely painting set and artist seal. I also got some chinese cds and I'm listening to one now.
I came home with about 8 boxes of tea... customs didn't care, they were more interested in my painted banyan leaf.
I got some special tea balls that open up like flowers, they're so beautiful!!!

I'm so glad to be home!

I have had enough flying! I never want to see another plane for the rest of my life XD

[Edit] I forgot to say that my cello is back from the luthier and it has new strings! It sounds so beautiful!!!
I really love it! The 'a' actually sounds nice! [/Edit]

TYS Concert was great! I really enjoyed playing (me and james ended up canning our duet) and I hope next concert will be just as good!

I actually went to see Harry Potter today *slapped* and I was totally correct in my predictions:
-The film was boring...
-The general casting was shite (Exceptions: Bellatrix, Tonks and Luna)
-Daniel Radcliff is a tool and his acting has gotten even worse.

I'm going on camp, there are no mobile phones or MP3 players... I think I'm going to commit suicide.
My pack is FULL, there is no room for anything and I still need to get other gear in it. W00t...

On Sunday, I shall be departing to China (Never to return, JOKE) for two weeks!!!

Yesterday, I went to orchestra and me and james still haven't parcticed our duet yet. yippee! This means that we'll be practising together for the first time at the on-the-day rehearsal... (Asked simon to put us on lastish, they may be peolple that have left by then.)

If anyone happens to be in Tassie on the 25th of this month, come and hear us play!!!
Tasmanian youth sinfonia at the town hall (Hobart) at 7:30pm.

Then I went to the string chamber music workshop!!! Had heaps of fun!

CHOCOLATE LOVERS BALL!!!!!
I couldn't actually hear myself playing... I got lots of chocolates and yumminess!

Then today at the string workshop, sue pickering, the cello teacher. looked at my cello, tuned it and said "It's very nice but you'll want to snap the strings and buy new ones."
So I'm gonna send it up to launie and get the strings replaced and my bow rehaired.

My daddy said I'm using the computer too much and TOOK MY POWER SUPPLY!!!

Once the battery is dead, I'm screwed!!! *Cries*
