Reasons why:

*I hate how DA's settings get flipp-flopped around and also how their pictures take FOREVER to load up when other places take them no problem.

*I never liked DA's submission policy. They don't like anthro art stuff, they aren't too good on nudity depending, and they don't make sure other's are submitting their own work (aka letting others on with traces/copies/save-reposts).

*I don't like the way their catagory set up is right now. Half the time I didn't know if something should go in one spot or another =/

*I think it's rather robbery that you have to pay for uber veiwing and journal modding.

*Did I mention I dont' like how people can just save your stuff or trace it, post it, and get away?

*IF by chance you do find someone stealing/copying/reposting your stuff, you can't complain one bit. I've seen lots of people complain to DA, weather directly to the mods or passivly in their journals and linking them and get banned. Apparently, posting a link to said thief can "create a mob" with your friends who would follow your link to the theif and they'd spam the theif, and we all know that's bad. .....ok, I guess I could kinda see it's not right to rally people together and attack the theif, even though they deserve it...... ....but when YOU get banned when you were the victom of being theifed? ....yeah, that'll make me want to point out theives...

*I was thieved. It was just a photo submision and not a character one, which is why I haddn't said anything untill now... And if it was a character steal then I woulda wiped my gallery and left DA when it would have happened. I didn't post anything in the journal as I didn't want to attract attention to myself either. But if by chance the theif rallies HER friends and say I stole HER pic (when she stole it from me, I mean, for gods sake check the submission date!), and *I* get banned because she said I was the theif or one of her friends does it, game over. I'll wipe my gallery and that'll be that.

And now you know why my submissions had dwindled down less and less. The last two I submitted here were quick (and the Flash was my only Flash to put up here anyways). If by chance I get banned by my theif or one of their friends, then, well, you know why.

But this week (hopefully Wed.), my deskt will come to me, and bring forth the cleanined look of my room, the leveledness of off the groundyness of my computer, and the dawn of the whorage of using my tablet at 100% usability.

That's right. My deskt will be on a desk (took me like a friggin year to) and I'll finally have more leverage and power to use my compy . Soon after, I'll be using OC and Flash more often and work on making lots of stuffs. And once I get my Flash paws back into flow (I played with Flash and knew what the hell I was doing once), I'll be making Flash stuffs (can you say, REGULAR SHOWS?!).

Merry X-mas everyone! I hope everyone get's what they want and the new years starts off right too! I read this off of Fala's journal and decited to do it too. I just hope I can do it though 0o....

Ten Random facts about my art:

1) If I practiced long enough, I can learn to copy someone else's style. But I'd rather just pick up a few things and use it with my style then outright copy.

2) If I have an idea of a character, their design, story, and what not is too much like another person's, I might not ever use that character again (unless it's too important of a character to me).

3) Almost every character I have created has a lot of story with them. Only like 3 characters ever were made before a story was actually pinned on them.

4) I used to draw anthro stuff when I was younger, but being the only person who did so for a long time (before I even bothered to get to know the internet), I felt too wierd and gave up. Years later, I talked to and saw her awesome stuff and it made me want to totally get back into drawing.

5) Even if I learn different ways to draw a figure, due to annoying habbits beyond my control, I still tend to put a bit too much length into their ribs and/or legs

6) The way I come up for inner ear colors is by either setting my shade and light colors on the origonal fur color then blending it or rarely adding the two main colors of the fur and blending them at 50% opacity.

7) I have the imagination to generate what things look like in my head down to many levels of vision, but saddly I haven't gotten brave enough to try to get close to drawing what I see (but I usually fail, so, I DO have vision, just not skill still).

8) My drawing process is long and rather annoying to normal people.... Pre-opt. sketch, then build off of it, pen ink and clean up, then scan, then do the Photoshope run around.

9) I'm toooooo picky on what is seen to people. Even if they're artists and I know them, rough sketches before they're fully built and pen inked are like... a taboo. The sketch is so ugly and messy... I feel like it could be poison to real artists =/

10) I have more fun and better looking stuff if it's other's characters or made for someone else then when I usually try to make something myself =/
