Well, lets see. I did a fair amount of sketching over the last six months... filled up one tablet and a good half of a bound book. Unfortunately looking back through them they are very... well sketchy I guess. I'm going to upload a bunch of them over this weekend and I'll prolly move them to scraps after a bit, but since I don't really have jack for artwork up I figure even the crappy semi finished stuff is better than nothing. I'm working with PSCS3 but I'm relearning PS and I don't have a tablet so its been very frustrating (in part because my work area is annoyingly cluttered... This is a very rambley journal entry, but well I don't care, I'm back home and I have unrestricted access teh internets.
^_^

So I'm back in the big sandy again, (The bigger sandy this time than the one where I was before) and everything is fine and dandy. The weather is awesome, the people are a bit stressed. Long hours and whatnot will do that to you. I brought a sketch book but haven't had much time to draw (I never seem to have it when I have a load of spare time)
This journal entry is more of a question to any that read it than it is a statement I suppose...

When you are going through an artistic dry spell how do you get past it to something new?

Much Love, Peace, and Adventure,
K

Well despite me not having access to a scanner so I can actually get my artwork online I thought I'd write a little journal to help get me motivated to at least take some digital photos of the sketches I've been drawing while I'm in the big sandy.

My problem, as it always is, is that I rarely finish a piece to the vision I had for it when I started. On the other side of the spectrum I occasionally make the piece over complicated and get irked, wishing I had left it the way it was.

Hopefully in the next few days I will upload a couple pieces I've finished, and a few more that I've started and left unfinished. I've been severly limited in materials for the last 4 months or so and that is reflected in the work I've done.

Anyway this is Kevin signing off

~Peace~
