Still here! Almost done with the sketch. I've got a bunch of photos I need to put up, but I've had like NO time to get to. After feeling overworked last week, I kinda unwound this week a lot by playing CoH. Then there was the announcement that happened the other day that kinda stuck me without warning. An old drummer friend of mine who played in my band my junior year of high school died. I'm not going to go into all of it, but it just came at such a weird time. ~Song64 and her new house kinda came with a next door kitten, and he's really into trying to latch onto my old necklace. The last time I had a cat latch onto that was the drummer's psycho-stoned cat that would latch onto about ANYTHING I was wearing. I've also been picking up the guitar a lot lately. Shit just happens in succession here.

Random thoughts: I have yet to play Beatles: Rockband, but I love the Abby Road commercial. Of course, the first one they had was INSANELY well done.

I just watched X Men Origins: Wolverine this week. I'm not quite sure what to think of it. Part of what made Wolvie cool to me was the cross between the animal beserker and the gaijin samurai. Those parts didn't really make it into the movie, but I kinda get where they were trying to sum up the origin in two and a half hours. The adamantium bullet made me chuckle, and the little clip at the end of the credits definitely made me laugh. I'm also a little disappointed that there wasn't more Naked Logan booty.

On a sudden bolt of relevation: Vincent Valentine is FF7's Wolverine. Just replace the screams of "Lucretia!" with "Mariko!"

I should probably go to bed.

HAAA! I actually AM working on it! I HAVE PROOF!

Sure, I should've been sleeping when I started working on it, but I felt inspired. I was digging through my old sketches for the heads of the SF divisions that I stopped doing because officers were constantly moving around to where they needed to be. That, and I could never draw Nikki the way I wanted her to be drawn. This one I'm kind of satisfied with. I feel kinda bad, I told Thunder I'd draw him about 50 zillion times, lol. and JUST as I was getting his armor right....well, I digress. I might pick it back up again just for the hell of it. In my nonexsistant spare time. *wanders off laughing her ass off*

A Little Weird.

I have professors following me on Twitter. I'm a little disturbed and amused by this.

WhoahCRAP! The first week of school has been fucking insane. I've worked so many hours and barely had time to think. I do have designs in the works, and I'm keeping myself busy on the design end. I'm looking forward to really getting into the classes. My first assignment was a 100-card animation for IM 470. That was kind of nuts. Thankfully it's a very simple animation.

I pierced my eyebrow last tuesday. It's healing up just nicely, but it looks like I'm going to have to trim my eyebrows to keep the hair away from the piercing. When it gets done healing (sometime mid-late october) and I can replace the ring, I want to buy this to put in. I like the ring, but it's a little uncomfortable and I keep worrying that I'm going to bruise it further by rolling over in my sleep and flattening it against my skin.

I also need to get my hair cut like mad. I'm going to try the local beauty school to see if they can cut my hair like Sixx. Since that's my usual style anyway.

Sorry for the ramble, just thought I'd keep you updated.

I think hell just caught a few icicles.

Today while going through the first day of classes, I found that it was "highly suggested" by my teachers (anyone who remembers that code phrase realizes that you damn well better do it...) to get a twitter and delicious account. I have a twitter account. A freakin' TWITTER account. The majority of that site is so friggin vapid and crap that it drives me nuts. When Ashton Kutcher had that debacle with one of the news networks having a twitter feed (why the hell does a news network need a twitter feed, anyway?), I shook my head in shame.

:sigh: Naturally, I'll be following deviantART tweets along with other groups. Social Networking sites, you are the blessing and bane of my existence. Half of my profession has created you, and the other half uses you to connect in a psuedo-personal way with their followers and fans.

My class list looks fuckin heavy so far, and I haven't had my last class yet. I'm diggin' the fact that ART 203 will allow me to draw basically whatever I want. Aww yeah.

Anyway, anyone who has a twitter account should note me. So...yanno.....I can follow you an' shit. Fuck, if this isn't me conceding to an advance in techno/society, I have no idea what the fuck is.

Oy, I also got my eyebrow pierced too. The swelling's just starting to go down.

That's all for my rant today. And yeah, I was digging around dA a little bit and seeing what's still boiling over from the share!War debacle. Still find it highly amusing. Still don't find anything wrong with it, really. Think that if an employer fires someone for having a dA account after that news article $spyed put out, they were really too uppity to begin with. Then again, there's probably some reasoning in there that I can't even begin to fathom. Not sure if I want to. I think it boils down to this: If you're afraid of copyright infringement of your posted online material, don't post artwork online to begin with. It will save you a headache and a lot of hurt feelings after.

I know I'm ranting longer, but stay with me for a bit on the musing if you could. I know why my viewpoint is what it is. As someone who deals in online portfolios and digital art as my lifeblood, the internet is where my stuff needs to be. To see someone using the shared feature (which, now that I think about it, would be kinda cool if they had a "shared XXX times to X site" feature..) with my work instead of copy/pasting it sounds a lot nicer to me than the alternative. I don't like putting huge watermarks on my pictures. On the artwork that I put a lot of detail into, it makes the whole piece suffer, but I've done it in the past because I have been on the bad end of an "art thief." they printed and traced my Motley Chibis and reposted it on a forum I was on at the time.

Thankfully, their brother who posted the picture responded well to my inquiry and took the picture down.

I do know these things happen. I also know that sometimes there's very little you can do about it, or anyone else can do about it for that matter. ANY place you can post your artwork online, be it a social networking site, a photobucket account, or even your own personal webpage can have artwork lifted from there. And in some cases, there's not as likely a chance that you're going to find out about it until it's too late. It's what I like about deviantART. There are fellow artists here that will find these cases of theft and help notify you of it. While it might be an art gallery site, it is also (or in my mind) first and foremost a community of artists who help each other out.

Anyway. I'm not sure if there was a point to that rant, but what the hell. I am still working on putting together a (helpful) news feature. Just have to let classes settle down a bit.

Ugh. Now to go to twitter and figure out how much of the college I can actually keep track of. Have a cup of hot cocoa on me, Azriel, I know it's got to be chilly in the Pits today.

What's New?

Apparently I used to use " /e headdesk" a lot in CoH, and a few people are using it again out of nowhere. I thought that was kinda funny. I originally had a decent idea for a title for today, but my brain's not working quite right. I'm also still trying out designs for the journal. I like this one because of the Rising Sun-type motif.

While working today, I came to the realization that I haven't made a colored version of Nightblade since this one about two and half years ago. I've scribbled him in various different places (a few in chibi form), but of late I've been trying to hammer down designs for each of the characters for an attempt at a comic. Possibly. It wouldn't be put together till ACen 2011, but I've got ideas for how I'd put it together. The first book would be purely an "origin" book, showing the beginnings of Nightblade, Raven, and possibly Bloodspire if I decide to revamp her character to that extent. The stories won't change too terribly much from what's up in my gallery, but different things will be added in (including the actual origin story for Nightblade that sets off the whole friggin thing...) I've been using the whole thing as an excuse to do character concept sheets. Because I know I'm going to be doing a TON of those once I get a job "in the biz."

I was working on colors for Nightblade's cursed form as a warm-up today and ended up spending the whole day on it after one of the peeps that had commissioned me for stuff decided against the whole deal. I am REALLY liking how one of the faces turned out: I drew two shots, one of his "normal" state and one of him in "full demon" mode. Basically, the full demon mode is for when he uses magic, gets really pissed off, and....well, you'll have to wait for the comic for the rest of it. He has about three other forms throughout the storyline aside from that version. I'm kinda looking forward to drawing the full demon form. I haven't done much with the humanoid-monstrous forms yet. I also realize after working on this that I REALLY need to work on my hands and feet.

At least I've got head/hair shading down pretty well. Just need to get it down to something quicker. Without further ado, here's one of the heads from my Nightblade Cursed Character Sheet:

I like the idea of the hair flaring up as he gets pissed. Kinda like those lizards that have the ability to make themselves look bigger when they're scared.
and on another completely random note: Photobucket's image hosting is bugged. It forgets to add a < /img > tag in its "HTML Code" ability. Never noticed that.

Ever wish you had more time/physical ability to do everything you want to do?
I seriously have to start making a list of all sorts of drawings I want to do. I take a long time putting together most of the stuff you see here, and I have even more ideas that I haven't been able to put together due to lack of time. Ugh. Why's school gotta come so soon? It's making me seriously bummed. Truthfully I am looking forward to the new semester, but I know I'm going to be busier than ever.

I'm still working on logo designs for the Studio. In cases where I'm looking at putting together a logo, I enjoy $liquisoft 's designs. Well, enjoyed isn't quite the phrase. I'm really envious of the beautiful simplicity that his designs have, especially the one for dA's community relations. I'm probably going to be looking at putting together more designs throughout the week until I find something I actually like. I wouldn't say no to someone throwing out suggestions, either.

I've got to get back to working on the contest piece for the Backseat Betties too. I think I have an idea for the background finally so it can come together. Trying to stay away from doing just plain white backgrounds.

Random shit:
I want a Zanpakuto.
I would also want this once I move into my own home. Or now. It's just too good to pass up.

I would also love to try a matchhead cannon. Thank you, Mythbusters.

Won an extra month of subscription from $a-r in some of the chatroom craziness today. I loved the hectic and friendly atmosphere, even if there wasn't much in the way of questions asked of the creative staff. I also tried an art contest in #CommunityRelations, but all of the other submissions were so much better.

I'm putting together a lot of stuff in the nearby future. Still waiting for a response from ^Hanratty-Stock and ^LawrenceDeDark if they have any ideas or suggestion about putting a news feature together on good tutorials to use. I feel it would be more fair for me to put together one on tutorials based on their legibility and easiness of use versus what qualifies as "good art" in another category. Art is all relative, isn't it?

Ohmygawd, i LOVE this friggin manga! I picked it up on the internet when posted a pic with one of the characters in it. She posted it for the International Blog Against Racism Week last week. (I apologize if half of this doesn't make sense, I'm still pretty delirious from CoH's double exp weekend)As for me..... I am feeling super-creative despite my health, and still trying to put a positive spin on everything.

Commissions are still open. I am trying to find a better way to organize my page and faq about them. I'll have some examples of the digital options here shortly. I'm also thinking about trying out adCast as a way of promotion. Anyone know if that works?

Also, mini-side rant of sorts. In the past few weeks I've been digging around deviantART a lot more seriously than before. If you make time to take a look at some of the helpful things there are out on the site, you'd be amazed. I'm still working on putting together a portfolio page and section for *hiredeviantARTISTS , which is a site with a directory of various dA artists who you can commission. There are a bunch of marvelous and insanely helpful tutorials out there too. I've got a few of the ones that I use a LOT in a collection in my favorites gallery: Good Tutorials. I'm thinking about someday putting a news feature of some kind together. Something to help promote other artists and help out, right? I'm not really good at making tutorials (then again, I haven't really tried much either...)

If you have a suggestion on a feature or a tutorial, lemme know!

When the hell did we get this close to fall? The school semester @ Bradley starts around August 22nd. I've still got to buy books.....

A few updates and some new plans are in the mix. Come Hell or High Water, I WILL GO TO ACEN IN 2010! Not only do I have a (somewhat) more affordable cosplay to do this year, I am thinking about putting up a table in the artists' alley in 2011 (or share a table with someone) to try to make some cash. I can do custom prints, badges and the like fairly well, so I'm out nothing scoping out the alley.

I would also like to hone my camera skills on one of the days, taking photos of different kick-ass cosplayers and possibly offering to send them professionally done prints of whatever they had. I have fallen in love with my Digital Rebel SLR.

Onto what I'm going to cosplay.....

Since I went thru all the trouble of making my grandmother put together an Organization XIII jacket and I have yet to wear it properly, I'm going to play Xigbar. I just need a few hair extensions and to not cut my hair starting in January......I should have long enough hair by that point. I'll save some $$ as opposed to sinking money into an Axel wig since I'm really bad with wigs. A wonderful friend of mine has offered to help me fix the chains to the jacket and help me build his guns. My only issue is that's one costume down for one day...and I'm not going to lug a camera around with that outfit. I also kinda like to switch up costumes and since I'm planning to be there for three days......I'm thinking I need to create a Braig outfit and something else. Any KH addicts, I'm open to suggestions, preferrably ones where I can walk around at least part of the day WITHOUT the Eyepatch on. Way back in 05 I did ACen as Pip Bernadette and got myself sick navigating a Con floor wearing an eyepatch and a trenchcoat. I've learned some basics from then, and I'm trying to be well prepared for this year.

I'm also looking to possibly room with someone for the Con. Just layin it all out on the table now so I can get started on putting together costumes and setting aside money. My idealistic goal is to get together enough money from commissions to pay at least part of my trip. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions about costumes and items I can sell/or make for the con, please, LET ME KNOW.

Continual Updates & Such

Still drawing and doing continual updates. I have several different pieces that I'm working on this week, but this week's booked solid with stuff in CoH and taking a night off to go see A Midsummer Night's Dream. I do have commissions still open, so if you're interested in having me do some artwork for you, I'd be more than happy to.

I might've mentioned this earlier, but I have a tendency to grow cysts. A LOT of them. I got a nasty one back in March and it ruined my whole semester because I was out for two weeks on pain killers. I've grown another one recently, of a pretty big size. This is why I do freelance art atm. There's no telling when I get one of these, and I can't do much physical work when I get one. They won't operate on me with these, instead they wait until they burst. I can't take any meds to prevent them, because the meds cause bloodclots. It sucks, but it's what I've got to deal with atm.

Every time I get close to finishing CSS, I get sick of it. I guess it's my short attention span and fluctuating interests. I'll blame it on being a gemini. If you guys still want this as an available journal CSS, let me know ~ I'll either send you a file or just post this one together. Post on this journal if you'd like it.

I have my first commission! I'll post the results up when I get done with it. Still need to find decent skintone markers. Also updated my portfolio. It keeps getting better and better, so check back continually. Within the next few weeks, I'll make a logotype for Casket Studios. And probably design some black/goth/cyber/glam CSS for a journal. I'm getting an itch for another body mod, so it's kinda driving me nuts. Between lack of cash and everything else.

I'm going to be entering 's contest! I can't decide what to do, but I want to try my hand at Venus De Asylo. She's my kind of crazy!

Not much and somewhat of a TON to update on, but I thought that I needed to clear the page of the bad news journal. I just got back from the Bristol Ren Faire on the border of Illinois and Wisconsin, and DAMN was it fun. I've got a lot of pictures that I took from that. You'll probably see more than a fair share of them up here....If I remember, I'll post a whole journal about the experience (and nearly breaking one of my feet trying to get a shot of one of the performers too...) Right now, I'm just exhausted.

Journal is slowly getting there. Yeah, Slowly. I will be cleaning it up as the week progresses (along with many other things.). But for now, SLEEP!!!!

Sushi Test and Portfolios....

Yeah, it's still roughly based off the Arustic skin made, but I'm modifying and adding things as I go along. This one won't be available for a while yet. Not until I work out the kinks, which will probably be sometime next week, because I'm trying to put a portfolio together for the Bravo open casting call thing. If anything else, it's a chance to have my stuff reviewed by a "professional." plus, It gets me to get my act together by making me crank out art like crazy.

I wanted to see how crappy this would look all layed out. Now I can see what I need to fix. :facepalm:

Due to my continually messed up health (I can't spend much more than three months without ending up in the hospital these days), I have decided to start trying to support myself early with my art. General pricing guides will be up by about Friday/Saturday. I'm going to be offering a large variety of different styles for sale (Logotypes, Typography as well as Illustration and Design) as well, but only the Illustration and Design are going to be featured here. At least, for starters. My first goal is to save up for a Wacom Inutos4. I'll have more up by Friday and have links to my profiles on freelance sites as it comes along.

My summer class is almost done. I'll have to put some of the stuff I did up here soon. I think I'm not too bad with Typography. As I get better with CSS, I can provide journal layouts too. I'll have to experiment more with those though.

Check out my club, *GBSTA, we've got a contest going on to design a new avatar for it. I used to be pretty good with short animation, but now not so much. Come on! Help us out!!!

I've been playing around with journal CSS for the past few days. This is based off of 's original design that you can find here.

Once I figure out how to add the extra special textboxes and whatnot, I'll upload it for folks to download as they wish. I told her I'd give her credit for the initial concept, and I want to know what you guys think. Obviously it needs a bit of work, but if you can spot anything in particular, just comment back!

Beta Portfolios and Other Things!

Yup, still breathing and becoming more and more active. Be afraid, be very afraid.

I've got a few different updates that I've got to announce! First off, I'm an admin in one of the clubs on dA! Crazy, huh?

Also known as the Gay Bi Supporter Transgendered Alliance. We have a lot of nice member-featured art in the gallery, and some really nice people in there period. If you haven't joined and you support love, no matter what kind it is, then join it now! Now, I say!

Since the "Official" Beta Portfolio launch was yesterday, I've had just a little bit of a chance to mess with the layout of it (Don't have much in the way of "portfolio" art to put in there just yet, but soon!) wasn't kidding when he said these things had redundancy-proof fail-saves put into them. This is probably one of the best things to happen on this website to me, because I seriously need to put a professional-looking portfolio together and my html knowledge has passed out of my head since I turned 12. Many creative kudos to the design team @ dA! This site gives me new reasons to love it every day.

That's all my caffeine-starved brain will let me put together at the moment.

Yes! I'm still alive. Lurking somewhat, but still alive. I have a friend of mine from CoH here with me for the week, so my extra art - output is fairly low until he leaves back home. I did want to ramble on about a few bits before I completely forgot about them, though:

Still trying out all the different and interesting journal skins that people are putting together. From what it looks like, it appears to be a nice little learning tool to help get people interested and used to designing in CSS. At least, that's what I'm going to be using it as once I start working. Bwahaha. Eh.

I like this design, I think because it has so many different "nooks" for items. I have a couple things in my head that I would like to try out at some point, but that's probably going to be after I get done with this little summer class and Wiry goes home.

A little extra note on the sketchdump (partially because I forgot about adding why the hell the lower left-hand picture of Stryker had two floating heads next to him):
When I started coloring in that sketch, the creative team (stop laughing!) was trying to figure out how best to illustrate the "flashbacks" of the comic without going for the obvious route. I thought about it for a bit and then mentioned that, at current time, Stryker has white hair, right? So we could slowly change his hair from dark brown to white. It was an excuse for me to try out different hair color schemes, and a bad attempt at the joke that we all drove him insane. That project went down the drain fairly quickly though. CoH, while I have fun with the game, is on shaky ground with the launch of new MMOs, and the majority of the folks I was working with were 4+ year vets. If I'm lucky, someday will send me what line-art for the first issue he had completed and I'll just play around with coloring it. After all, I need the extra practice.

Going to be upgrading to CS4 soon with the design suite at least - possibly the whole suite if I can get a call into Adobe tomorrow. Need to figure out teh student discount!

I have items I will be posting throughout the weeks. I'm getting more active. It's a good way to distract from the issues with the apartment. (more on that as the story unfolds.)

And for my random plug-of-the-moment, I have to say that I'm LOVING the Motley Crue albums my mother got me for my 21rst Birthday. I was missing Theatre of Pain, Motley Crue and Generation Swine out of the Studio Albums, so she got me those three. I haven't had a chance to listen to Theatre of Pain (I caught a bit of it and started laughing one night), but Generation Swine is just so bizarre while retaining the old Motley swagger that it's cool. The audio filth that you kinda feel with some of the songs on the Heroin Diaries and Saints of Los Angles seem to come from that album. (at least, I kinda imagine so. lol.) I would suggest even taking a listen to "Save Our Souls" or "Let Us Prey". The first verse of "Brandon" along with the chorus make me cry. I can admit it.

I should stop before I run out of room.

I know I usually promise a lot of working on stuff and such (I am) even though I have no way to prove it. Well, this summer so far's been one massively fucked up event.

Apparently there is something biohazard-ish in my apartment, because I can't set foot in it with the windows all closed without getting seriously ill. I have been living for the past week at my parents' house still, and driving back and forth every night to my class. Not only did this put a damper on actually celebrating my 21rst "like I'm supposed to," but has created yet another black hole in my wallet and my time. We've cleaned EVERYTHING (and by we I mean my folks and myself, not the damn management who swear they've cleaned shit and yet I find dirty paper towels on my countertops and my bathtub soaking wet when I haven't been in the apt for three days....) and even had them throw out the nasty mattress that came with the apartment, and I still get sick. I'm going back on Monday before class and seeing if I still get sick again. If so...I'm looking for a new place to stay. Did I mention I still don't have a job yet?

This leaves me tired, drained, and able to do very little aside from work on my homework for my ART205 class inbetween car trips.

I know I've said it before, but this time I mean it:

THANK THE GODS IT'S THE WEEKEND!

More will update as I can update it. My teacher's been showing me a few tricks with CSS that I can use for my website. Maybe I'll be able to work on that again.

Project: DO SOMETHING! Damnit. (Update!)

Wow. Still haven't done much in the way of drawing, but good GODS has it been busy. I just found out last week that a two of my friends are engaged (and if you're smart, don't poke them TOO much about details before they go crazy.), been packing stuff like crazy and getting ready to move. My folks have been absolutely amazing helping me get all the little bits and pieces I didn't even think about grabbing and getting them all stored away.

I guess you can say there's going to be a lack of art still until I get stuff up and running in the apartment. Though that's nothing new...right? I suck some days.

So I've got two weeks before I move into the apartment. That means reorganizing and gearing up to actually start registering on the scale again.

I'm actually kind of proud of myself. I mean, I haven't done ANYTHING for a solid week. After last semester.....oboy, I kind of needed this meltdown. I've sufficiently driven myself crazy now, and that means it's time to get back into working. I've got some banner art for one of the City of Heroes Forums I'm in that I've been working on (just need a solid surface to set the laptop and tablet down on) but right now, just trying to churn out ideas.

For those of you who are on the drawstick forums -> [link] <- might not be alone with me in thinking it's gotten a little dead. I was thinking about making a banner of some sorts to put on site/blogs/etc to Advertise. A community geared towards a specific type of artist is ALWAYS good to promote. Especially for people "in the biz" and wanting to network. It might not be the exact "biz" I'm interested in, but it's one of my favorite and one I draw a lot of my influences from.

I've still got ideas in my head for costumes for the characters in the SF TF.....my ideas with that were put on hold because of some bugs and a massive lack of time from the spring semester.

I'm also thinking about revisiting my idea on a new version of Willy Wonka way back from 2006. I need some new stuff to exercise my conceptualizing skills on while I'm on downtime from school/work.

Thoughts, Comments and Ideas are always appreciated.

Bored and Sick

Still not feeling the greatest. Did get started on some pieces though. I'm fighting with my body and my creativity a lot lately.

While I think my current Avi's kinda fun, a lot of the details get lost in the small pixel size. (let me know if you want to see the full version, anyway.)

I joined 's art forum. I think it's a good idea for those who are interested in constructive criticism and art critiques. And social networking in the desired field of choice. which is kinda why I joined. Once I start producing complete pieces (be it just lineart or color and everything else) I'd love to get some real, honest feedback from folks. Use and abuse what you've got, yanno?

Website construction's actually going pretty smoothly. I actually have some of it done like I planned on doing this week. Now if my body would just stop shutting down on me, I'd really be able to work....

I worked until 4am last night/this morning on a paper. Good god, I need some sleep. Head's buzzing like bloody crazy.

I'm going to add a links button somewhere. I think.

Oh yeah. Save the older pictures if you want to right now. When I upload the next round of things, anything pre-2008 is GONE. If it isn't already. That's how bad my memory is right now.

Thinking more about my tablet. It's a Wacom Graphire4 series, which apparently isn't available in anything -but- wireless anymore. It's a great tablet, but i'm starting to notice a couple of scuff marks and whatnot on it. While that in no means requires that I must replace the thing, but I've been thinking about upgrading. I've read a few reports that say that the Bamboo tablet that Wacom released is a great entry-level, but if you're thinking professional, you want their Intuos series. Any thoughts? (aside from the godawful price jump).

I've decided to use the Shoutboard as a glimpse to what my current project is (aside from the still unnamed CoH SF comic). The website needs a decent grunge background, but aside from directly ripping a texture off a site, I'm at a loss for what to do. Guess I'll have to continually flip through the stock stuff here.

I have a few other projects to work on this week (you might even see some flash up here, oooooh!) including a few designs for a Norse-themed project for MM213. I had the sudden inspiration to draw Loki. I'm not going to pass it up.

The website is going slow. I worked on it a bit this week before I decided that I had messed it up beyond what it had been before. So....I'm starting COMPLETELY from scratch. That means new website and new URL. When I get ready to launch it. I've decided to wait and bulk-launch it like "professional" websites do. Which means that I don't publish it until the whole site works.....and also probably means that the site won't be up until Spring break at the latest. The economy and the likelihood that I'm ever going to get a job in the next year outside of the school is depressing and making me laugh a little sadistically.

That's why this week's poll is about commissions. I'm not a "PLZ BUY MY ART LOL1!!!!!!!111!!!" person (still trying to get over my overzealous feelings of suck), but I know I'm going to need cash and need it soon. If I decide to follow through with the apartment deal this year, I'm going to need money for rent. Suddenly I'm really happy that my folks pay for my CoH account.

If I do decide to do commissions, it'll be awhile before I decide upon and figure out a pricing rank for each piece, wether it be digital, sketch, black and white, 8x10, ah fuck, you get the picture.

Look too for new conceptual art to start budding up soon too. Back when we first heard about i14(the next CoH update/patch), we found out about a "mission creator" that would allow users to create and set their own missions. Unable to resist the urge to make an ass of myself (and a parody of my friends), I started to write a series of missions that I called the Stryke Force Task Force. Some of the villains in the TF have different costumes than what were found in the game (they're in my head, duh), so I've got a few pictures in mind to show their stuff.

And on a random note: Wow this post is long.
And on yet another random note: when we do get issue 1 of the SF comic completed, I'll check with the others to see if I can't post a link to the whole bit here. It'll be posted on my SG's site, but that's not accessible unless you're a member.
