It's always best to have fun when trying to draw anything... otherwise it winds up being a poorly put together, ripped up piece of garbage in my trashcan...... In a trashcan. Not just mine. I mean, I'm making a point not complaining about how I can't FUCKING DRAW....................... Uh... oops ranted... sorry about that.

Anyway, for months, yes MONTHS, I've been trying to draw SIX SIMPLE SCENES to a stupid one page comic. Do I expect to look great? No. At least not as great as certain comics out there. I don't expect Mike's writing to be a great storyline like 's Heartcore webcomic. In fact, there really is no storyline in our comic.

And I don't expect my art to look anything like the art in 's, 's and 's GG-Guys comic.

I don't even expect it to be that funny......

I've got a pretty simple, non-detailed art style, so why can I NOT DRAW THE DAMN THING!?

Come on, you have two of the most famous and well known video game characters and you have them PLAY GAMES? If I were in charge I'd do one of two things. Have One of the villains enter the other villain's world somehow, and they'd team up to take Mario & Sonic down. Robotic Koopas... Yeah...

Or...

I'd have Robotnik team with Mario and Bowser team with Sonic to take down the other teams hero/villain team, only for Sonic and Mario to realize they're being used and turn on both villains. COME ON! No more Olympic Games. Sonic needs a good game, and Mario needs to be taken a bit more seriously.

Don't get me wrong, the Olympic Games series is fine for exercise, but they have a great potential to make an adventure game. That's what I want from these characters.

Raket: Completely destroyed. No possibility of returning. No way, no how. However, I have thought long about it, and the Raket in the NRU comic at will be, in a sense, a "reincarnation" of the Raket Hedgehog character. This due to them both representing me in the artist's sense. Other than that, Raket the Hedgehog is gone. Dead and buried.


Dark: I love Dark. But he was never officially my character in the first place. He was originally a creation of a friend of mine from high school, and I just took creative liberties with the character. Will I use him again? Maybe. I'm lobbing this one around right now.


Erin: This one was tough. I loved the tomboyish Erin in my original writing of PC2 and PC3. But after a while, she seemed to be a pretty bland character being nothing more than an embodiment of every teenage "best friend" movie character you've ever seen. I did give a bit of her personality to another character I've created, however.


Soul: Not my character. However, if doesn't mind, I'd like to use him again, somewhere down the line. But I want to deal with more human-esque characters now, so when I'm using Soul he'll go through very noticeable changes.


Saber: Saber is a villain character that I enjoy. I gave his personality to another character of mine, Domondo, the Demon Prince. So in a way, I'm still going to use him in the future.


Lockhart: Despite only having a couple of pictures made for this character, people have completely fallen in love with her. I wonder why? Anyway, I am changing her into a completely new character. A human-demon hybrid girl (I know the half-demon concept has been done to death, but I enjoy the idea.) named Shadow Lockhart Zyrran. And no, I didn't name her after Shadow the Hedgehog. As stated before, I gave a small dosage of Erin's personality to a character I made, this Shadow is the one I was talking about.


Hellrage: Stupid character, stupid name. Change a few things around. Make him a nobleman on a foreign world, and BAM! We have another character of mine, Logan Atwood.


Twin Tigers: Fat-ass and Musclehead are dead and done.


Lynx: I love Lynx, so like Lockhart, I gave his personality to a character created by my long dead friend, Cal Irvine (who also created Calico and Zip). Lynx has become a character named Sero Faren.


Light: Ah yes, good ol' Light the Fox. As stated with the Raket the Hedgehog character, this is another chunk of mine and 's past that we'd kinda like to keep in the past. But ALSO like Raket, he will be "resurrected" as Mike(Light's real name, which he actually prefers to be called now.) in the NRU Comic.


Fear: I like Fear's concept. Kaity has literally made him into the embodiment of fear, itself, in her explanation of him. But unfortunately, I can't fit him anywhere into the stuff I want to do. But who knows what might come up, right?


Alphaeus: Love the character. I love that DaSnowMiser's been such a good sport with letting me turn him into a bumbling idiot. I didn't intend on doing that, it just happened. Either way, his is the same problem as Fear. He's a character I enjoyed using very much, but I can't see a future for him with me.


Calico and Zip: This one is a tough one to explain, but I'll explain it as best as I can. The original Calico and Zip was an old comic a friend and I did in Elementary School for the school paper. FYI, the paper was a shared project between students in the Elementary's 6th grade and the Middle School's 7th and 8th. It starred two brothers who constantly made fun of everything around them. One was intelligent and mean(Zip) while the other was stupid and innocent(Calico). Essentially, I am still going to use them. However, Zip's personality will be given to Calico in the NRU comic, while Calico's old personailty will be given to Larry. I hope to God that makes sense.

Just so you know, I won’t put Alphaeus, Soul, or Fear in this. already used Fear in this meme in her last journal. As for Soul and Alphaeus, they are also not my characters and belong to and respectively. Also, I didn't add any characters that didn't do much so that means that a lot of the PC2 characters are not in it as well. However, if they’d like to see their characters on the list they can just tell me the attacks the character uses and if they’d like “Unlockable Costumes”. Light the Fox is not technically mine but I use him as I please since and I have a joint creation (custody?) of the character. I also decided to take a few liberties with this meme as this is the third time I’ve done this and have added some “Extras” and “Unlockable Characters”

HIStory by Michael Jackson. No I didn't add this song because of the King of Pop's death. It is legitimately one of my favorite songs. I personally feel it's one of his best. But listening to it makes me feel as if my problems don't matter. And basically, that's what the song's about. There are so many problems out there bigger than the one's we face in our lives.

Live Life by Crush 40. Now, I know I've been on a tirade lately about how much I want out of the Sonic community. That's not entirely true, as I really love the band Crush 40, which is now a staple to the Sonic series. And no, I don't want completely OUT of the Sonic community, I just need to let most of it wash away.

Spirit Never Die by MasterPlan. This song kicks ass. And when I hear it, it pumps me up. In fact, if you see any (poorly drawn) action scenes in my gallery (which there are few of as I'm horrible at that sort of thing)chances are, they were drawn while I was listening to Spirit Never Die. This time it's Raket's Top 5: Best Video Game Villains

As always, and I can not stress this enough, this is MY OWN OPINION, so if you don't agree with me, don't get mad, just tell me your top 5 list. This time, I had some help from a few of you guys who offered your opinions of who should be on the list. Check it to see if yours is on here.

#5. King Dedede from the Kirby series I've never been a huge fan of the Kirby series, but I have to admit, I like Dedede (pronounced Day-day-day in Japan). Like some other guys higher on this list, he's big and mean. But Dedede also has a softer side to him. Sure, he wants to rule Dreamland or whatever it's called. Lately though, it seems old De's not getting the respect he deserves. Originally, I believe he was a main villain in the series, but nowadays, he's been pushed from top villain to lowclass first boss. It's hard to watch a villain fall that far so fast. But hopefully the King will regain the crown of main villain someday soon. But once again, leave it to video game companies to screw things up a little more as time goes by.

#4. Dr. Robotnik from the Sonic the Hedgehog series Ah, the good ol' rotund Robuttnik. For nearly two decades (technically 18 years, but close) the portly mushtache moron has remained a constant threat in the Sonic universe. In the beginning, he WAS the villain to beat. Taking all the heroes friends and turning into ROBOTS? And worse, using them to get rid of their friend? Three words apply here, . But in all seriousness, lately, Robotnik's taken a completely different turn by turning from a small nuisance to Sonic to becoming a global threat on more than one occassion. In more than a few of the more recent games, he has been a contributing factor to the near destruction of the Earth. From releasing the evil monster Chaos on the world, to helping revive Dark Gaia. The good doctor also earns street cred for, more than once, owning the most impressive collection of bling known to mankind: The Chaos Emeralds.

#3. Bowser from the Super Mario series Wow! Does this guy hate rejection or what? But the good thing about him is that he doesn't take it lying down. Then again, using force to get some broad to like you is going a bit too far. Bowser has been the main villain of the Mushroom Kingdom for so many years that, just like his nemesis Mario, he has gained enough fame to be recognized by almost anyone. Bowser has been many things: A Villain, a golfer, a racer.... even a hero on a few occassions. There have been a few different takes on him as well. In many of the Mario RPG games, he's been shown has stupid, arrogant, and a bit of a comedic relief. But in the main series, he's been mean, nasty, and cruel. Three traits that work for ANY villain, but the Koopa King pulls them off very, very well. Large, powerful, and in serious need of some Tic-Tacs and counseling, Bowser is definately one of the Best of the Worst.

#2. Albert Wesker from the Resident Evil series God, this guy scares the ape shit out of me. Wesker is plain nuts, man. He started off fighting the viral outbreak turning people into zombies with his S.T.A.R.S. comrades. But he showed his true colors not long after when he left his partners to fend for themselves. To top all that, he was revealed to be one of the CAUSES of the virus. He's not some guy pulling the strings of his zombified puppets, either, he's a willing participant in the ghastly mutations. In other words, "He's not just the president, he's a proud member." Plus, RE fan-girls have often pointed out, he's damn good looking. (I'm not gay, but c'mon look at this guy!)

And now, for the #1 most evil, dispicable, black-hearted gaming villain of them all. Who could top all of these villains? The answer may (or may not) surprise you.

#1. Ganon/Ganondorf Dragmire from the Legend of Zelda series Why yes! Who could be considered the most evil, other than the King of Evil, himself? He plays that role very well, I might add. Ganon has taken many forms. Unlike many villains who try and try to take over the world, Ganon already has... MORE THAN ONCE! He's obviously doing something right and the other villains need to get a pen and paper and take some notes from this guy. Not sprite... but drawn. Not Sonic, either. That's the major reason I've been doing the whole spiel on the "dropping" out of the Sonic fandom, lately. Plus, Sonic comics are all over the internet nowadays. Though I didn't plan on Sonic actually being in the comic, per se, I did plan on using Raket and Light, as the main characters. Sonic RCs (NOT OC) are still Sonic, to me. I DO plan on using Raket and Light, however, Raket and Light are not using their Sonic look. I've made them look more human and look more like Light and myself. By looking more like Light and myself, I mean, tall and nice (me) and short, hateful, and gay (Light). And if I have enough creativity in my head, hopefully I can sketch out characters for Selena (my girlfriend), Victoria/Vixie/WhateverTheHellSheLikesToBeCalled (Light's girlfriend), and Larry (Light's older brother). So yeah, I'll hopefully post those later on.

This month is Raket's Top 5: Best Video Game Heroes

Honestly, I didn't want to do another video game one, but it's all I could think of. Anyway, as before, this MY OWN OPINION, so if you don't agree with me, don't get mad, just tell me your top 5 list.

#5. Sam Fisher from the Splinter Cell series Sam hasn't been in on the game scene for very long, and his last game is a few years old. But I have Sam on the list because he is very realistic and has natural problems. Sam's believable, that's why he's awesome. He's a gruff, strong, and level headed man with a rather dark since of humor. He's experienced tragedy, such as having to kill his best friend or the loss of his daughter because of recklessness. Sam's very human, and that's why I put him on the list.

#4. Wario from theSuper Mario seriesUnlike Sam Fisher, the other heroes on this list are more fantasy than realistic. Wario is just awesome. Although he started out as a villain, he became a hero not long after that appearance. However, unlike his pure-hearted counterpart, Mario, Wario isn't driven by his courage or his willingness to protect. No, he's driven by greed. Very rarely has Wario saved anyone other than his own fat ass and his money. And he's not very courageous either. In fact, he's actually a coward, but the love he has for money pushes him through his fears. But this is why I love Wario so much. His attitude makes him such a fun character to play as. In fact, besides a certain fire-breathing spiked turtle, Wario is my favorite Mario character, by far. Wario's got insane strength, and even more insane powers. More brawn than brains, bad ass attitude, and a gut that could possibly be bottomless, Wario is pure awesome sauce wrapped in fat and garlic.

#3. Link from The Legend of Zelda series Link is a great character and his story is spread out through so many great games, and a few bad ones as well (I'm looking at you Phillips CD-i). It's pretty obvious that's it's usually a different Link in each game, but the story is almost always the same. A boy in green linked to the Triforce of Courage goes on a quest to save Zelda from Ganon/Ganondorf. There have been a few games that haven't followed that story but they're still usually pretty good. Link's courage is admirable as he will stop at nothing to protect the Land of Hyrule and its people. All of Link's adventure (the good ones anyway) portray him as the strong, silent type, and I have to admit, I prefer silent heroes because they express how they feel in their actions. That's exactly what Link does, and he just gets better with age.

#2. Solid Snake from the Metal Gear and Metal Gear Solid series Although both are technically the same genre, Snake is in many ways the exact opposite of Sam Fisher. Unlike Splinter Cell, Metal Gear is more revolved around its storylines and action than it is about sneaking around. Snake not only has the ability to go toe-to-toe with a giant walking tank armed with only a missile launcher, but he's done it more than once. Snake is one of many clones of a legendary soldier, and has gained all of the skills he needs to survive because of it. Snake has gone through Hell and back in every game, and in the midst of all of it, he's most likely very calm, hitting on a woman, and smoking a cigarette. Snake's personality has shown more than once that he doesn't give a damn about anyone, at all, yet he has a good heart. Because of that, I actually compare to superheroes with that same attitude, such as Batman or Wolverine. Snake is a true hero in the world of gaming, even if he doesn't think so.

So let's see, those are some pretty big names in the video game world. Who could possibly top those four great heroes? Who could be so great at being a hero, that he tops these big name gaming superstars? If you haven't guessed by now, get your head examined.

#1. Mario from the Super Mario series C'mon, this was really a no brainer. Mario has been around for nearly three decades and rarely belts out a bad game. Yes, there have been a few stinkers, but bad Mario games are few and far between. I know that last month I said that Mario Party and Mario Baseball suck, but that's not the main series of games, those are spin-offs. In the main series, there has always been a simple formula of gameplay which has never gotten old. Run around, jump on stuff, beat up Bowser, save the Princess. Pretty simple, but Mario has had a few changes over the years which range from him saving the Mushroom Kingdom to saving the entire Galaxy. The only interesting thing that I saw was Blaze dressed as a knight and fighting Sonic, but I think that that's only because out of all the characters added to the series since Sonic Adventure, I actually think she's a good one.

Let me explain why I'm unimpressed by this new game. It looks like what Rush was, a rail-er. Where most of your time is spent grinding. The only reason this is because the idiots at IGN apparently love grinding. God, I'd prefer Sonic Riders on turtles...... I also have a complaint about the sword. Uh, hi, IT'S A SWORD! SEGA, what the Hell? Are you TRYING to piss people off?

This month is Raket's Top 5: Video Game Genres That Should End

#5. Sonic the Hedgehog I honestly can't believe I'm saying this, but c'mon, the last great Sonic game, IMO, was Sonic 3 & Knuckles. The last okay one was Sonic Adventure 2. But from Sonic Heroes onward, the series has ranged from so-so to just plain terrible. SEGA needs to do one of three things with Sonic. Try and do it the old way and stop adding so many damn characters, or get real game developers to work on Sonic games, or kill Sonic off altogether. Preferably, the second one, at the very least.

# 4. Tony Hawk Series Nothing against Tony or the publishers at Neversoft, but I believe the Tony Hawk games should end. I honestly liked a few of the games, like the first two Pro Skater games as well as American Wasteland, but I'm not saying those were great games. The Tony Hawk series has unrealistic storylines, unnatural physics, and bad voice acting. The voice acting thing can slide, though, as none of the pro skaters are actually professional actors, even if some of them, such as Tony Hawk and Bam Margera, have had experience in entertainment.

#3. Every Card Battle Game. Ever. A lot of video game websites and tv shows often say how much they hate this type of game. I myself, really hate this genre of gaming. One that comes to mind is Yu-Gi-Oh. Now, if you play the card game in real life, that's fine. You're more of a dork than I am, but again, that's fine. But why waste so much money on these video games if you can just as easily do it in real life for just a bit less money. Plus, you'd have friends.

#2. Movie-Based Video Games Movie games are rarely ever any good. What was the last good movie game you've ever played? Unfortunately, ANY animated movie, or any movie willing to use its name to make game money from Activision or any other third party company, make these games constantly. Games that usually stick out in my head are ones based off of super hero movies. Hulk, Superman(who has never really had a good game anyway), Batman, and Spider-Man really are a major focus. Spider-Man 2 was, IMO, one of VERY few good games based off of a movie. It introduced a new style of gameplay, and was, in itself, nothing like the movie. The storyline was completely different and even added Spider-Man characters that weren't in the movie. All three Spider-Man movie games did this. That's why it's awesome. Video games that follow the movie almost entirely, usually suck.

#1. Mario Spin-offs This is number 1. Let me explain. I don't think ALL Mario spin-offs are bad. Mario Kart is a major reason I still have a Nintendo platform every time a new one comes out. The Mario Strikers series isn't that bad either (which is funny, because I'm not a soccer fan, by any means). And I also really like the Tennis and Golf series. The games that I'm talking about are series such as Mario Party or Mario Baseball. Dear God, I hate these series so much, it's not even funny. First off, I HATE board games. Though some of the mini-games in the Mario Party series are not bad, the board game element really kills me, and the series suddenly becomes a bored game. As in, "I'm bored out of my mind. I will admit that I liked Mario party 2 for its different elements and how much more unique it was than the first. But, IMO, the series should've ended after 3. Mario Baseball is not fun at all. All Nintendo did with these two games (yes two. But I bet there will be more) was take baseball, which I don't like, and take a Super Mario Poop all over it. Yeah, it's baseball, with Mario in it, that doesn't mean it's a good idea.

First things first, though. I will admit that I am a Sonic fan-tard, what with the (un)original characters, the fan-fiction, ^{_{the shrine in my closet}}, and fact that I do enjoy some of the recent games. HOWEVER! I am talking about a particular group of Sonic fan-tards. Ones that take it to the point of near insanity. From here on out, I shall refer to them as the "SFTX" or Sonic Fan-Tards eXtreme.
The SFTX group is a very, VERY annoying part of the Sonic fanbase that causes people to really degrade Sonic fans. I will summarize why this group is stupid in a simple way.

#1. SFTX people LOVE Sonic games, no matter how bad the idea of the game or how terrible the controls and/or story may be. This isn't a major problem to me, but it IS just as annoying. I do look forward to the newest Sonic games that come out every year. But if it sucks, then I'm going to admit it. SFTX seem to think that SEGA is God and shall smite them if they criticize the games in any way, shape, or form. They seem to have hypnotized themselves into thinking that there can't possibly be a bad Sonic game. That poses a problem. As long as these people continuously go along with this behavior, SEGA will NEVER get the message and Sonic is doomed to be a dying franchise. THESE are the people that SEGA's listening to, and that's why the games are shit. Either that, or SEGA just doesn't give a damn about Sonic anymore.

#2. Jason Griffith. SFTX, as well as most Sonic fans, HATE HIS GUTS! Now, I will be the first to admit that Griffith is NOT great at playing Sonic's voice. But wait a minute... THAT'S THE ONLY VOICE THEY FOCUS ON! Jason does play another character and does it fairly well, I might add. Not great, but okay. And no, I'm not talking about Jet the Hawk, he sucks too. I am talking about Shadow. Whether you love or hate Shadow, you have to admit that in the games since Shadow the Hedgehog Shadow's voice sounds relatively like his SA2 and Sonic Heroes voice. But Sonic's voice is the big issue. I realize that since Sonic's the main character of the series, he shouldn't have such a stupid sounding voice, but here's my point. UNLESS YOU ARE GOING (OR AT LEAST TRY) TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT JASON, SHUT THE FUCK UP, PLEASE! I know that I complain a LOT, but I complain about my problems that I have in my life.... not about a video game character's voice. Jason's Sonic voice is not a good reason to have ill feelings towards the man. No. The people who should be in the dog house for this one is NOT 4Kids, either. This is yet another fault of SEGA! It was THEIR idea to use the Sonic X cast. Not Jason. Not 4Kids. SEGA. Not Japan SEGA, either. SEGAOA, or SEGA of America. THEY are the ones that should get the blame.

#3. STFX is mostly about OBSESSION. That one feeling that ALL people get. We've all obsessed over something we hold in high regard, right? So why is this on the list, then? Simple. SFTX BELIEVE in their obsessions. They believe they ARE their fan-characters. They believe that they ARE related to Sonic, or they ARE romantically linked to him. That.... is retarded, with a capital RETARD. This is a big problem, as it shows clear signs of overactive imagination and/or insanity. Morons basically. I'd call them psychos, but I highly respect a Sonic fan, ~Psyguy, who goes by that name, so that would feel wrong to me.

#4. Sonic Hentai.... Dear God, this is ridiculous. First off, if you find ANY Sonic character sexy, (well, besides Rouge, because for whatever reason, she's supposed to look like that) then you need to have your head examined. Now, Sonic Adventure 2 came out when I was still an immature kid, so I'll admit that back then I would make Rouge fly at the screen to watch her boobs bounce... but as I said, I was VERY immature AND was barely 12 when it came out, OKAY? But what I'm talking about is Sonic porn. Personally, I don't look at porn...often. I will admit that I HAVE, but don't do it regularly, as I kind of feel it to be a bit demeaning. Hentai artists are great at what they do, yes, but Sonic Hentai is just, well, a weird idea. I mean, Sonic the Hedgehog was originally made for young kids, right? Not little kids, but young. So when did it occur to someone to draw porn of Sonic. Well, I think most of it sprouted with the Amy Rose character. She was originally Tails' age in her debut. About 5 years ago Light, me, and a friend of ours were writing a Sonic Heroes based fan-fic, and we created Light, Raket, and Calico as one of the teams, and they represented us. I wrote Raket as a silver hedgehog. Light suggested his character would be speed and Calico's creator suggested Calico would be power. When I thought about me being flight, I thought I'd have to change him. But then Light suggested giving him psychic powers to make them all fly. Then three years later, SEGA created Silver and Blaze, who were, oddly enough, a silver psychic hedgehog and a pyrokinetic cat... Uhm, is it just me or is that a little weird?
