I was hiding on the side of my parent's waterbed and I poked my head up only to see my Mom sleeping/not moving and a bunch of suitcases on the bed. I don't remember all of what happened after that but I remember seeing my dad come in, grab his things, and walk out as if he didn't see me. I tried to call out but nothing happened and instead of running after him I tried to wake my mom but she wouldn't wake up and nothing would come out of my mouth so I couldn't yell. Eventually I ended up collapsing on the side of the bed, crying.

Well now, I AM alive. (: It's been a pretty long time since I last updated my journal. The art's been updated and such but I haven't been spamming you all with journals. How saddening rite? ;3;

In School news, its actually fun for me. Love my school and classes. Even though I have TEAM SPORTS this semester. Ugh. Hate sports. BUT YOU HAVE NOT SEEN BOYS MOLEST ONE ANOTHER UNTIL YOU TAKE TEAM SPORTS AT MY SCHOOL. HOLY CRAP. They. Were. All. Over. Each. Other. Not to mention that there are twins in my PE class and one has the same name as me. c:

In Real Life news, I'm getting glasses next week. I went to the eyedoctor today and they shot air in my eyes to be sure I didn't have some sort of disease(I have no idea) then tested my sight. I loled. Here's what happened:

Doctor: *covers my right eye* Ok now read the smallest print you can and tell me what line you're on.
Me: Uh, ok. Third line down. F. C--
Doctor: Ok, good. *covers my right eye* Now read me the smallest print you can and tell me what line you're on.
Me: Kay.
*long silence*
Doctor: ......
Me: .......
Mom: .....Problem?
Me: ....Uh... I can't see the letters.

Yeah go me. I couldn't even read the top line with my left eye. Then the doctor put these drops in my eyes that really stung. ;___; Then once we were all done and we had my glasses frames picked out (I get two, lucky me) he gave me this stupid looking, flimsy paper/plastic sunglasses to wear and said that I had to wear them for the next couple hours because my pupils were dialated from the drops. =____=' I still have them on right now and it's so freaking dark. The glasses I'm getting are meant to be worn at all times and not just when reading btw.

Ok so those who watch Thea already know this but to those people who watch me and not her let me tell you this:

Other, other news: I have a huge headache, my eyesight is getting worse and worse and worse, my knees hurt (probably from standing up for like an hour), I saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, school is starting up soon, I burned myself making breakfast for me and Corey and now I have a burn mark on my leg that looks like a knife. ;D Looks pretty cool.

For a while now my Mamaw has been fighting for her life against cancer. When she was first diagnosed the doctor told her something along the lines of, ÂWe canÂt cure it. Live your life to the fullest now. DonÂt have any regrets.Â She was about 68 at that time.

We all were shocked when we first got the news. Cause that news meant that she wouldnÂt be living much longer. Even though she was dying though, my Mamaw lived her life as she had before. She relaxed on her sofa, she watched Fear Factor and Jerry Springer, she smoked her cigarettes, she went to the pool at her apartment complex, she cooked dinner, and she cherished the visits she got from her family.

As time passed she slowly became unable to what she could before. She had her good days and she had her bad days when it came to her health. Papaw wouldnÂt let her clean up or cook much anything. She was admitted to the hospital a few times from her bad spells but she refused to stay in them. She never did like hospitals much.

One day when she got out of the hospital she had a really good day. So good that she was able to scuttle around more than usual. So, the moment she got out of the hospital, she grabbed her carpet cleaner and started scrubbing her carpets at home. She hated how dirty they looked. She didnÂt feel too well afterwards and of course Papaw and Mom gave her a lecture about it but she didnÂt care and the carpets finally looked cleaner so she was happy.

Time went by and soon she started falling down a lot more. She was having trouble supporting herself. She didnÂt want a walker though. She hated those things. Not like that mattered much though because a couple weeks later she had to use one so she could stand up and move around. All she could really eat was pudding and stuff that Hospice was bringing over. Instant meal things.

After a while even the walker wasnÂt helping out. She had to use a wheelchair now. She still forced my Papaw to bring her to the pool though so she could relax and read her books. Things were really going downhill.

Papaw had a great idea though. MamawÂs 69th birthday had been coming upÂJuly 1stÂso he had the great idea of throwing her a final surprise birthday party.

It was one of the greatest ideas Papaw ever had. She came walking in from the back porch and stepped into the living room to see Papaw, Mom, Me, my brother, my uncle BuzzyÂher sonÂand his two kids along with a cake, balloons, and a beautiful flower vase with flowers inside.

She cried and kept hugging else and telling us thank you. She managed to eat some of the cake. She loved her presents and the balloons. Mom took old pictures and made a slideshow that Papaw could set as the screensaver of his computer. We all even went to the pool though I didnÂt have a swimsuit or a change of clothing so I just jumped in and later on soaked the seats in our van.

When my mom called Mamaw into the back room so she could show her the screensaver my Mamaw did something that made me laugh so hard. She was getting out of her seat and she was having a good day so she could use her walker and my brother Bobby walked over to see if he could help her out. She, of course, waved away his help but what she did still brings a smile to my face.

Mamaw: *grins and looks to Bobby* You wanna drag?
Bobby: *blinks in confusion* Huh?
Mamaw: *shoves her walker forward a bit* IÂll race you to the bedroom. You can eat my dust.

Drag races with walkers. I really want to be a person like her when I get older.

It was a really good thing we had that party when we did. My Papaw was telling me a couple days ago about why he brought her to the Hospice hospital place. Mamaw was in horrible pain. She was crying and holding onto my Papaw and yelling, ÂBob, help me! Bob! Help me, Bob!Â

ThatÂit really hurt. Papaw was crying because there wasnÂt anything he could do for her. She was asking him for him to save her and really he couldnÂt do anything.

Papaw called mom and told her what happened. Mom told us.

Yesterday we got a call around 10:35 AM from Papaw. He told mom that if we wanted to see Mamaw then weÂd better get up there. She was in her final throes. Mom sped by home so Bobby could shower and so she could pick me up. It was about an hour drive to where Mamaw was.

We got another call about ten minutes later as we were planning on heading out the door.

On July 10, 2007 at 10:48 AM, Mamaw passed away.

It hurt. It hurt a lot. I couldnÂt hear the conversation directly but I was in the living room getting my shoes on. 1. What is more difficult for you, looking into someoneÂs eyes when you are telling someone how you feel, or looking into someoneÂs eyes when they are telling you how they feel?
-Eh. IÂm not good with eye contact at all but IÂd say confessing to someone.

2. Think of the last time you were REALLY angry. Why were you angry?
-ÂHmmÂ I havenÂt been REALLY angry for a while. The last time I was mildly angry though was a couple days ago. I was mad at CoreyÂs little sister. Corey and Donut know why. :]

3. You are on a flight from Honolulu to Chicago non-stop. There is a fire in the back of the plane. You get enough time to make ONE phone call. Who would you call?
-My mom. Definitely.

4. You are at the doctor's office and she has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live. (1) Do you tell anyone/everyone you are going to die? (2) What do you do with your remaining days? (3) Would you be afraid?
- (1) Well, mom would already know since she would end up going to the doctorÂs with me. SheÂd tell the rest of the clan. Then IÂd let some of my closer friends know.
(2) Tell my parents about yaoi and my ZoLu obsession. Then buy some doujinshis. IÂll probably end up buying a boat too. The S.S. Skitchies. Nice.
(3) I would probably be more scared of what trouble my death would cause to my family and friends than scared of me actually dying. The only worry I would have for myself would be if my going would be extremely painful or not.

5. You can have one of the following two things: trust/love. Which do you choose?
-Trust. ItÂs hard to come by nowadays. People just use and abuse you most of the time then toss you out and move on to their next target. *shrug*

6. You are walking down the street on your way to work. There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street. Your boss has told you if you are late even once more, you are fired. Do you save it?
-Damn right I do. Screw work, a life is more important. My boss will understand, and if they didnÂt then I wouldnÂt be working for them.

-I wouldnÂt be unfaithful. BUT, if I were then probably yesÂ maybe.

8. Have you ever thought about death/wished you hadnÂt been born?
-Yeah. More than once. Not because my life is pointless and patheticÂeven though it is. Just out of curiosity. ÂWhat exactly has changed because of me? Who have I really helped? Would it make any difference? What if I died today? Who would miss me?Â Those kinds of things.

9. Think of the last person who you know that died. You have the chance to give them 1 hour of life back, but you have to give 1 hour of yours.
-HmmÂ IÂm not sure. Not because it would mean me giving up an hour of my life though. Mainly because (a) ThatÂs such a tease. (b) People canÂt avoid death. When itÂs your time, itÂs your time. (c) It may do more hurt than it was intended to heal. Can you imagine having the families of the deceased having to go through the death AGAIN? Unless the person had something important they NEEDED to tell in order to pass on peacefully, no.

10. Are you the kind of friend that you would want to have as a friend?
-Sometimes.

11. Does love = sex?
-No. Sex = Lust. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Love = Trust.

12. Your boss tells your co-worker that they have to let them go because of work shortage, and they are the newest employee. You have been there much longer. Your co-worker has a family to support and no other means of income. Do you go to your boss and offer to leave the company?
-Depends on if I have enough money to get me by until I can find another job.

-I havenÂt got a clue. I donÂt think I ever really HAVE told anyone honestly how I feel. I donÂt even know HONESTLY how I feel most of the time.

Translation: It appears as though my internet access has decided to explode in certain areas, meaning I am unable to connect to my MSN and I have a hard time getting into my hotmail. Which sucks cause that is my main email address. =_= I personally think it's my computer and that I have a virus or something. It's been all fruity for a while now.

I have a LOT of things I have to do. >_> Good thing I do damn near nothing during the summer. :] I can get most of it all done cause I'll get really bored. I HAVE been drawing lately. >_> I just haven't been submitting it. The pics I've drawn recently are most likely all gonna go into scraps when I post them though.

Me and Donut are working on our own original story. It's really fun and awesome. Might turn it into a book if all goes amazingly.

I finally got around to watching the Jdrama 'Nobuta wo Produce'. (If anyone knows what that is. xD) EXPECT ART OF IT CAUSE I ADORE AKIRA. C: 'Gokusen 2' is awesome as well. Cause it has Jin and Kame from KAT-TUN in it and it is an amazing show. Let's not forget the amazing Yamapi in 'Kurosagi'! _{Long live AkaKame, JunDa, RyoPi, HiroYoSuke, KokiMaru and TegaMasu!!}

TwT Koga dragged me out of the hole that is my bedroom. She took me to Books-a-Million. We read books for about 3 hours. Then we had to leave so I bought two mangas. xDD One Piece Volume 1 and One Piece Volume 6. I sat around my room Friday night reading the manga and correcting things. <________<; It took me till I was halfway through Volume 6 to realize everytime I read the name Zolo I said Zoro out loud. xDD; I was criticizing the book.

A couple hours ago the English One Piece episodes came on TV. You know, the accursed things that should be burned and whoever it is that hired the voice actorsespecially Sanjisshould be violently maimed and murdered? Know what I did?

I watched it. -GASP- Thats right. I watched it. And I corrected it. xDD I was even correcting the dialogue and quoting the Japanese manga/anime. It was fun until I saw Sanji. DDDD: Made me wanna cry. WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO POOR SANJI-KUN?! sobs-

A couple days ago me and Corey, who practically lives at my house, were skimming through all my music and such. There was really nothing good we wanted to listen to at the moment. As we sat here and pondered over what music to listen to something came to my mind and somehow we ended up talking about old shows and music we used to listen to. So we headed over to YouTube to check out some of the old shows and had a blast from the past.

Our first stop was a show known as Digimon. We used to be so into the show as kids but as new shows came out and our grade levels rose we unconsciously began to drift away from it. So we listened to the theme song and considering how well known the song is, or should be, we were able to sing along with it. Every. Single. Word.

Our next stop was, and still is, a very popular show. Its name? Pokémon. We had so much fun listening to every single opening theme, every Pikachus jukebox, and every song from Pokémon in various languages. It brought back so many things I had forgotten, such as the lyrics to the oh-so-difficult-to-sing-and-remember Pokerap. Strangely enough, there were songs that I knew that Corey didnt. Whats that say to you?

I wont go through the entire list of stops but I must name one more. Sailor Moon. My god, as kids and pre-teens we never realized how major Sailor Moon was in our young life. Ive seen every movie, in both English and Japanese, and she has heard every song. As a child, Corey even made up a cheer for a cheerleading squad to the song Sailor Stars.

So now as I sit here and think I realize something. All those old cartoon shows like Cow and Chicken, Cat Dog, Dexters Laboratory, Secret Squirrel, Yogi Bear, The Flintstones, etc. I realize that those cartoons were never major to us. It was always shows like Sailor Moon, Pokémon, Digimon, Monster Rancher, Yu-Gi-Oh, etc. that sparked our interest. We were anime fans from the beginning and we didnt even realize it.

As I sit here now and type this up I listen to all these old songs and remember. I had been into roleplaying and creating character since about 3rd grade and just now it is all sinking in. I cant believe I could have forgotten those wonderful memories.

So I came up with a solution. We are going to hurl ourselves back into the void of time where Pokémon and Digimon and even Sailor Moon where like icons to us. Well re-spark our interest in the old shows, the kiddie shows as some call them, and become even more devoted fans than before. I mean hell, that just means we get to make more Original Characters for roleplays.

I am so freaking excited! YAY! I had to watch my 3 neices and demon spawn the night before though so that was a bad thing -_- My 6 year old neice, Saria, has gotten it into her head to call me 'Master' and at about 4:45 AM this morning she woke up and walked into my room to let me, and Corey, know that she heard voices. Here was the conversation---

Kacy: *at the computer talking with Corey*

Saria: *at the door* Um... Kacy?

Kacy: *blink* *looks to her* Yeah? What is it?

Saria: I hear voices...

Kacy: Sorry bout that Saria. That's me and Corey. Guess we were too loud.

Saria: No I think they're in my head. They sound deep.

*awkward silence* *Kacy and Corey look at one another* *Saria leaves*

Kacy & Corey: *start cracking up with laughter* AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

*an hour later* *Kacy and Corey are still giggling**Saria walks up*

Saria: I wanna go home... I want my daddy.

Kacy: Well your daddy will be here in about 6 hours so go back to bed.

*4 minutes later*

Saria: *at the door*

Kacy: ...Can I help you?

Saria: Well there are like 2 fans goin in the living room plus the air conditioning is blowing right on me.

Kacy: ...That's what the giant and fluffy blanket I got you is for.

*7 minutes later*

Saria: *at the doorframe*

Kacy: What now?

Saria: I think there is something trying to get in the front door...

Kacy: ...The front door has two locks that are both locked, the porch light is on, both my parents are up, I have my blinds open, and the windows out in the living room are locked... I think you're safe...

*2 minutes later*

Kacy: *turns around from the computer and spots Saria in the bathroom playing with the light* ...

Saria: ...What? *looks to her, honestly confused*

Kacy: Nevermind. *turns away*

*demon spawn cries from the depths of my parent's room*

Corey: *hisses at the crying*

Kacy: ... *peaks out into the living room*

Saria: *staring at the TV* *talking to herself quietly*

Kacy: *walks back into the room* *sits down* ...

Corey: ...What?

Kacy: *slams head onto desk*

That was all 100% true. Ask Corey. She'll tell you. Honestly... I have a fruitcaked family... ANYWAYS....
