school is crud, relationships are shitty, state of mind is unhealthy everythings going pretty crap for the past few months oh well.
I got my 1st job about 3 months ago! At a health food bar at our local shopping center. I had some friends working there already, but I haven't had any shifts with them and since the gender selection is strictly female when it comes to applying for a job there the girls are mostly slurries. All conversation tends to revolves around parties, so-where-did-you-go-on-friday-night, sex, relationships and school status's. So I tend to stay out the back just wiping some non-existant spot on the counter.
Saving up for my dogs health bill, $1000 which thankfully family will be paying half of.

Only 23 days till the last Harry Potter comes out Aha can't wait! But by goshh I'd be shot in the head if any of my school friends found out I was actually anticipating the release of the book

Art as an elective turned out to be the worst subject. I hate it, it consists of primary school level clay work and some painting all semester. No real technical stuff and mostly theory. absolutely pointless theory
I want to draw and photograph!
But no, I have to paint waves and sculpt treehouses grr

It's the start of our 2 week holidays, and so far I've worked, binged, slept and been bitched at for my interviews that my parents had with my teachers. Damn they went bad, but my maths teacher said she was impressed with how determined I was during class, how I worked hard and applied all my working capability to her lessons But she also said even though I tried my best I still struggle and need a tutor;

My Dad got me one of those 24-pack graphite pencils from Derwents and a 72 pack of watercolours from Derwents too Ohmygosh im so happy I couldn't get over them but hell, im under so much pressure to produce something with artistic merit now, Dad didn't just 'give' them to me out of fatherly love..

I'll post some scraps later on, but for now I just want to say sorry for not being active at all on dA Im in more of a drawing mood for the past few months, and our scanners screwed up so you won't be able to see 'em and I try to take photos, but everything I snap totally lacks composition and is just CRAP

Fluffys healthy, so im ectastic over that. Got good Report card, 4 A's 3 B's and 1 D It feels like summer even thought we're in the middle of winter and it's the HOLIDAYS

I found my camera, but now my creative eye has been gouged out by extreme boredness, or something like that.

Or, maybe I just can't find anything interesting to capture. Sure, it was a full-moon a few nights ago and the roses in the backyard have bloomed but I can't seem to find any interesting angles to shoot them at.

And what annoys me the most, is that I can look at something and see it as a photograph with great potential. And everytime that happens I don't have a camera with me or I just can't find the thing or the angle I want to capture.

Example;

A young girl is holding her mothers hand, wearing a bright print dress. She's excited and it clearly shows. Shes in the middle of a large busy crowd in the Sydney CBD. Everyone around her are in their business suits in grey and dull tones with sad or blank expressions on their pale faces wishing to be somewhere else, while she stands out in her childish dress.

I don't know if you think that would be a good photograph or not but I reckon it would be. But im not allowed to go to the City and if I did, I probably wouldn't find that scene anyways!



In other words, you're not going to be seeing any photos from me anytime soon.

I've gotten a science assignment that im not gonna finish in time. And it counts for more than half my school marks

I got stung really badly yesterday at North Cronulla by BLUE BOTTLES blue bottles dammt! I was screaming in pain and the lifeguards and my friends didn't know what to do, because the icepacks, hot water, shower and hugs weren't doing anything to relieve me of the pain

The pain did eventually go away *phew*

AND

Omg, this is the worst bit..

I'VE LOST MY TABLET PEN!! 'Tis is the end of the world as we know it!

Hey all, I've had a great week so far.. families being agreeable, SURFING every morning, except for today (and the other day) which is Australia Day, Happy Australia Day btw!! I can't wait to go down to Cronulla as usual to watch the Opera and performances annndd fireworks It's gonna be so much fun as usual but I betcha theres going to be some gang determinded to ruin it. Hehe fun. That'll make tonight 10x better, with having a play to watch accompained by random illegal fireworks and () riots! I sound so evil, but it seriously is pumping to watch. Last year, me and my friends embarked on a dangerous journey to the portable toilets about 700m from us, took us about 10minutes to get there and halfway through our visit a few 20yr old drunks started spying and wolf-whistling through the cracks in the walls, and thanks to one stupid old lady who was astonished at this 'behaviour' she ran out screaming all sorts of insults at them, threatening to call the police ect. It caused a riot a real riot.. 5 older men started bashing up some 4-7 20yr old drunks with that old damned women sitting in the middle gasping and pointing at ME and other teens calling us drunken idiots. Me? Wtf!? I was standing in the sidelines watching eagerly and wondering if I should call the police to clear it up. I mean, I wasn't even drunk, what 12yr old WOULD be drunk anyways? Anyways, my 10 + 11yr old friends were standing next to me sobbing their eyes out and screaming for 'Mummy Mummy!' because the 10yr old was still stuck in the bathroom when the riot started, nothing happened to her and nothing would of happened to her. I told them 'gently' to shut-up since they were causing a scene and one of the drunks who was looking at us with a stare that obviously ment 'One more sound and I'll come over and kill you'.. earned me a weak punch from the 11yr old and evil stares from all the oldies around me. Anywaays after we got back to our parents who vowed never to let us out of their sight again -_- we kept on watching the play, dancing and fireworks

20min later their was a huge riot out on North Cronulla beach with a few THOUSAND drunk teenagers between the ages of 12-18 (hehe mostly 13-14yr olds) little rebels, they had to call back-up police squads to control it. I loved watching it on the News the next day

Back to 2006, it's going to be fun tonight but with all the police squads roaming around Wanda, Northies, Eloura and South Cronulla (me and my friend counted over 50 police cars in the North Cronulla parking lot on a very quiet weekday two days ago O___O) It's going to be 75% police, 5% locals and 20% westies making up the crowd

Okay first,

Thankyou SO SO SO SO MUCH to everyone that has commented or faved on my photographs today/yesterday! You definitely made my day, and perhaps, my week.

I kind of went on a photo frenzy after finally figuring out how to use the macro setting on my camera. Lol I got so excited and took photos of everything.. from the crumbs on my desk to my bible to the flowers and dirt outside.

The Manderine deviation is an example of this.. I'll definitely put up more later!


Anyways, the Sydney Sky I + II are photos from awhile ago, when it was still hot and summery.. not freezing cold and overcast. Im so proud of how they came out and was itching to submit them, but I could never do it because I couldn't find any ways to get them from my Dads camera to the computer.

In the end I obviously figured out a way


Phew, im so happy. 40 pageviews in under 1 and a half days (lol that's alot for a young'un like me), people actually LIKING my photographs and faving them ()

Outside my dA life is great, with my Mum being at work everyday and my Dad in England and my bro at [link] i've been home alone, with the camera to myself and having my sweetheart tell me that the day when I questioned our relationship, was the scariest day of his life. I love you Tyler.

First off, HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL! I hope you guys had an enjoyable partay/dinner whatever, and that 2006 will be better than 2005 for everyone

This year, was the 7th shit NYE in a row for me. 7th Flippin' hell, I wish that I could just stay at home and sleep through the firewords, with my dog shaking under the covers next to me. But noo once again I was dragged off to some forgien party where me, my dad and my bro just sat there watching my mum get drunk and slowly clapping to really sad eldery ladies dressed up in extragavant/cheapy long dresses who tried to dance around for us, accompained by the occasionsal drunk man that left his wife sitting by herself, to flirt with any women between the ages of 40-80. Sad.

Anyways, the real reason for why I am TOTALLY pissed, is that it's that time of the month again, and arrrghh i going camping TODAY in 3 HOURS with my bestie to a BEACH. A BEACH DAMMIT!!! Im only 13. Argh. So right now my mum isn't letting me going, well, I don't think she's going to let me go.. Hopefully she is, 'coz I really want to have a great time, down at the beach for a week, with my best friend during a heatwave!

Ohmigosh, my mum just walked in.. apparently it's up to me if I want to go or not.. YAY

Merry Christmas!

1 day 3 hours 18 minutes and 13 seconds left till Christmas Boy am I going to have the best chrissy this year.. Instead of an iPod from my Dad.. I got a brand new alto saxophone!! Correction, Im going to get a brand new sax, apparently no one really likes to deliver things during Chrissy so im going to get it a bit after NYE u_u Anyways, im totally excited 'cos I <33 music and playing instruments.. so far I've been playing the piano for 7+ years, I can strum a few songs on my [used to be my bros] guitar and now finally im going to get a saxophooone which i've been asking for all year

Ah, anyways. Im working on the Relax, It's FedEX manipulation, since they box appears to be floating in front of the wannabe Jesus, so im trying my hand at drawing arms and hands on Adobe and experimenting with a few ideas I've had. Imagine this, a very narrow dark alleyway, with garbage bins lining it's sides, and a cat or two, here and there. Then, in the middle of that alley, is a rusty old swingset which has a scragly little girl on it, swinging has high as she can.. her feet always touching the other side of the alley and her back hitting the cold brick wall everytime she swings back. Shes wishing that she can just swing on out of there.. through that little strip of polluted sky high above her.. to a family that will love her forever.

Now try to incorparate that into a photo manipulation xD

Well life is good. Im getting a $1,200 instrument for Christmas, my family is actually being nice to me for once and everything, and everyone, seem to be clicking together. -Sigh- Now I wish for that this will all continue.

Happy 13th burf-day to mee

My names Nicole, I live in Sydney, NSW, Australia. I'm 12 [turning 13 this December] and yes I CAN draw. I go to a Catholic college which, I have just relised, have probably the worst syllabus ever. The teaching is bad, the subjects are absolutely pointless [I swear] and the whole God/Jesus is the best, worship him all your life is now a meaningless phrase for us fellow students. Some advice to any to-be parents or people with kids, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT send your childern to any catholic schools. They are pointless, a waste of BIG money and time. I am a catholic and am thinking of converting to baptist or something along the lines of that, we catholics emphasize too much on the church, priest and Mary. And don't think I do not know what im talking about just because I am a pre-teen. Please.

Anyways, im sorry about ranting on about religion like that..

Okay well. I draw mostly wolves or anything wolfish and anime/manga, I <3 experimenting with photo manips and I prefer to think that pixel art is my specialty. My art teacher has yet to find out about my drawing ability thing, all she cares is that we tell the principal about how good she is so she can get a raise -_- Any young people out there who <3 pixelart and photomanips, I would love to see some of your art, and anyone who likes drawing somewhat cartoony/realistic wolves [think ZappyWolf].

I might scan some sketches from my artdiary onto the computer and upload some pixel stuff, but the photo manips I do are mostly pointless per. pics for sim games like [link] and [link] . But meh, atleast I know my way around Adobe, Corel and JASC psp well xD.

I'll also upload a strange photomanip I did the other day for myself.. It has 6 boxes, all tinted to the of the colours of the rainbow and portray 6 emotions or feelings towards life. Teenage feelings. Once I get permission from dA artists for using their pics on it I guess i'll upload it.
