That was one of the greatest movies I've ever seen!!!^__^ I'm so psyched that my dad actually let me watch it!! *flails arms* IT WAS SOOoooOO00oOOOOOoooo COOL!!!!!!!!! With just the right amount of action, story line, emotional parts, and just plain everything about it was awesome. I kinda wish you'd have seen his face though, but now that I think about it, it's probably best that way.

Do NOT Read Unless You've Watched The Anime! I mean, this is a HUGE spoiler!!!
OMG I just can't get over Wolfwoods death scene. I was bawling, and I rarely EVER cry in movies. They did it so perfectly with the background music and the wording. It was so beautiful, and not at all over dramatic like a lot of death scenes are; it was just perfect!
I like how the final fight scene wasn't drawn out, too; it didn't even last a whole episode, but it was still not to short to be unsatisfying.
I am definitely reading the manga! TRIGUN IS THE GREATEST ANIME I HAVE WATCHED THUS FAR!!!!!!1

I mean every thing about the is great. They have great music, gorgeous backgrounds, it's 2-D animation(which isn't half as common as it use to be TT__TT), it has interesting story lines, and ever so much more!! What I really like about their films is that it feels real. It's kind of hard to explain like you know most of them are completely impossible, yet it's almost as if it IS happening. The way they do everything, all the subtle details that most would leave out and every movement and thing seems to have been taken into consideration. They make the best shows ever; they're like reading a really good book!! If you haven't seen any of them you should!

Whisper of the Heart was, of course, a great movie!! Surprisingly it was pretty realistic meaning there wasn't any fantasy in it.(unless you include talk and thinking about fantasy)It was so good that I watched it twice in a row and enjoyed it both times! The protagonist was a lot like me; she was even around the same age as I am! It is definitely one of my favorite films, as are most of the Studio Ghibli Films!!

When I looked at the class schedule I saw that it said traditional which usually means techniques and kata class, and I'm not too good at techniques in the first place so after foolishly taking the summer off I knew for a fact I was going to look like an idiot. As for katas well I just moved into a higher class about a month before I took a vacation so there was about five katas I didn't even know the first six or so moves of. So desperately trying to prepare myself I asked Laura to drill me on some stuff even though she hasn't take karate for about two years, now. Considering her absence she was a fare sub-sensei.

Soon it was time to leave. I talked to Dad as he drove me there about school and piano and such -- Oh right piano, but that's another journal. Anyway I talked to my father to try to relax but to no avail. My heart was racing as soon as we drove into the parking-lot. I was filled with so much dread and anticipation that I completely forgot my bag in the car and had to run back and get it twice because I forgot the keys to the car the first time.

Though I was, as I have repeated several times in the upper paragraphs, extremely nervous, I quickly relaxed when I was greeted by friendly faces and in a familiar surrounding. I also found out it was not techniques but sparing *evil laughter* Not only am I sister of the "head hunter"-- Laura's, nickname in karate because she would always attack her opponent's head in sparing if it was allowed -- but I had a terrific reputation myself. We talked about my black belt test since many of them were some of the black belts that tested me. That gave me a whole lot of confidence as we recalled all my cunning, fast, and strong attacks and strategies. So I was ready for class to start though I was somewhat fidgety which is unusual for me.

Class started in its regular routine. Then to the fun stuff! I was paired with Amy -- the only other girl in class. It felt great to have that adrenaline again, and I was doing fairly well. I was a little sloppy at first but as time progressed I got close to my natural standards, which I'm sure after a few days will be back normal.

We took a break after a few rounds then Sheehan said to take off you chest protectors *grins evilly* which means old school sparing! (My thoughts on sparing: less protection = more fun though most would disagree! That's okay. It's an advantage for me) He also said that you could grapple, which I'm even better at than sparing. So soon Amy and I were up! I kind of toyed with her for a while, hit her a couple of times then backed away to where it was close enough you thought you could land a kick in but far enough that they'd miss by about an inch. After two or three minutes of that I took her down and got her into a mount position. When she pushed up on my chest I did one of my favorite grappling technique, arm bare! But I got cared away and hurt her.

I felt really bad about it and tried to comfort her and said I was sorry on numerous occasions. She said she forgave me, but was still curled up, holding her arm and crying. I HATE making people cry especially if it was entirely accidental. Aside from that it was an awesome class and a good one to start with.

Grrr My mom drives me ballistic. *whines* Because, of her I won't be able to go to the Mechacon.*sniffle* I've been wanting to go for months not to mention it was to be my first con. It's not even a really big con. Just a little one. Most likely no one out side our state would even go. I would've just gone for one day. I've been saving my money and everything. Also my friend's having a party and Mom won't even let me go to that. But WAIT that's okay because to make up for all this she's going to take me shopping, whoopee. In case you don't know I was being VERY sarcastic about the shopping thing. I despise shopping especially with my mom. It's strange, but no matter how frustrating or depressing something is Mom always seems to make it a little worse. I know that's a horrible thing to say but it's true. This isn't the first time she's done something like this either. It seems every time I want to do something fun, I can't because I'm on my mom's time. I hardly ever get to have a party with my friends because Oh no's it's a pool party and bathing suits aren't modest even if it's a one piece and you have a giant shirt over it or maybe we're going to watch a movie and omg the movies not rated G. *rolls eyes* HONESTLY give me an effin' break. She's already deprived me of my final four Halloweens and any fantasy or sci-fie books but I read them any way . I mean she can take my video games, my door, my pants, and even my happiness but she can't take my books! Of course I'm not brave enough to tell that to her face, so I just read them in secret or at my dad's house ^_^;. I mean she wonders why I don't "keep her company" all the time when every time I do she'll lecture me for no reason at all and bring up stuff that ended YEARS ago. Then it's not like it's a real conversation and you can voice you opinion. NOoO She's the parent and you're the child and she's the authority so the most you can do is sit there and try to ignore her and answer yes mam at the right moments but not too often or you'll get wiped. And she says she does all the work when WE(me and my brother) are picking up sticks in 90 to 100 and something degree weather in a huge yard with tons of trees but no shade AND we don't even get paid! At all no allowance or anything!! Not mention all the other stuff we have to do. This is just some of the many things she does that make living with her almost unbearable. If you don't believe theirs any other vexing things that she does constantly, try me and I'll write another journal like this that's even longer.


Sorry about the rant just needed to get that out of my system.
