Like... colors being totally ruined, pics looking horrible when they were actually pretty enjoyable before they were scanned, and such things?

The matter is: how do copyright issues work when something is quoted in an original story?

For example:
I write a story for a comic I want to publish, in which my main character is a Star Wars obsessed. So maybe they play with toys lightsabers, have Star Wars posters in their rooms, action figures and so on. Or they pretend to be Jedi.

I'm extremely in a hurry to finish a 3 pages comic before 15th April, and everything -for once- is going at my advantage...there are no tests in the upcoming week (except for a lot of damn things to do every freakin' afternoon like school trips and such but at least no tests), I've got the whole 3 pages already planned with storyboard, dialogues and everything, and I like them very much.

Hey guys, do you ever get the feeling like there's something you really want to do...but you can't, because there are some other things you really DON'T WANT to do, but you MUST do them?

This is what I've been feeling for the past three weeks and it is SO DAMN FRUSTRATING.

Since I came back to school, I had to study SO MUCH!! But I don't really care about subjects like literature, history or other things like that, I quite like them so it's no big deal, it's just spending 2-3 hours studying them before the tests.

I had to work REALLY hard these days. I've got to do a 62-pages comic about the Risorgimento for a contest, and I need to do them before the end of January @_@
So my Christmas holidays are going by sketching and drawing for about 12 hours everyday x°D

I finally could re-install Photoshop!
But, there's a problem! Whenever I open it, it gives me a message saying: "The monitor profile "Samsung - Natural Color Pro 1.0 ICM" appears to be defective. Please rerun your monitor calibration software." Then it gives me the options "Ignore Profile" or "Use Anyway".

Does anybody know what it means? I take a look on the net to find out, but I couldn't really understand! I got to know there is a software named Adobe Gamma which allows to correct this kind of problems, but I don't have it installed!
