I started SERIOUSLY drawing in maybe grade 6 or 7? I loved drawing all the time when I was very little however

digital for sure. even if i draw something traditionally i want to edit it with digital tools

i usually draw a ball outline of the head, and then do the rest of the skeleton from there

none of my characters ever look straight ahead. i'll either draw a head turned halfway to the left or right hand have the character looking sideways at the camera, or have the character looking directly at the camera and turning his/her eyes off to the side or up or down. you'll see this on most of my school doodles

✖ Any tips for coloring/shading?
um, always pick an interesting color scheme! you don't have to color everything exactly as it would appear in real life. also dull out unimportant stuff. and use shading to make the subject appear 3-d and to show folds in clothing etc. and not everything needs to be shiny

✖ How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
few hours. i usually do my art in one session.

✖ What music do you listen to while you draw?
i keep it quiet. music inspires me and gives me ideas for what to draw, but it becomes a distraction when i'm actually drawing

✖ How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
very short time to come up with first idea, although i refine my idea as i draw. i can't really force myself to think of ideas

wacom graphire4 tablet with mspaint

bright neon colors on black. good contrast.

i really don't know how i got into an art block

um

so basically i have a contest entry to complete by september and i have to finish that request for james

um

well the drawing for james i am still working on the final sketch

so i just need to do some lineart then color it

mainly ive been distracted by practicing guitar watching tv hanging out ummmmmm... more guitar practicing and playing some video games and trying to get more into music

i sorta want to go into a different direction once i start school again in september...

i want to do like um... modern art, weird art, graphic design, punk art, unique cartoons... basically go in any direction except for doing digital animu art. oh yeah, did i mention the computer i have to use to draw sucks ass.

um. so ill finish a drawing eventually. whateva bitchessssssss

It appeared the United States government is looking to pass a bill on Orphaned Artwork, which means whatever is seen and not given proper or any legal documentation to the creator, if free game for any American citizen who was not the initial creator of the artwork rights to siege it for themselves!

Now I'm a fairly new artist trying to prepare myself into the professional world, and my say may not have a massive impact on the world, but ya know it would be five kinds of fucked up if I found out five or six years from now just as I'm about to pitch Urban Myths to a comic or animation company and I discover its already in production by someone else! THAT GOES FOR ANY OF YOUR ARTWORK AS WELL! And to some of you who draw for fun and not for profit, you may say to yourself now it may never happen and you had no interest in making it big with your creation, THATS A CROCK OF HORE SHIT! If you did think that you would have never made the idea public! Or let alone be reading this on Deviantart a site where people post their ideas and creations for all to see! Just think that one stupid doodle character you came up with and never wanted to see again? Wouldn't it just be oodles of fun to be sitting at home and then see a trailer for a movie or cartoon, or what have you with or about that said character? Makes you mad thinking about it huh? I have a bunch of WIPs that are nearing completion. Ummmmm

And I draw too many humans. I need to practice drawing mechanical stuff like cars and spaceships and trees oh wait trees are biological but still.

Maybe I'll go outside someday with a clipboard and some pencils and just draw what I see. U_U
