The only means of knowing God is becoming God.

This elegant idea was proposed on the youtube forums under a discussion of ID vs. Evolution.

"I do not think that at anytime throughout the course of human history we will ever discovery a 100 percent accurate understanding of reality in its full scope unless by some chance we become the very definition of gods."

I found that this thought held true even after extensive scrutiny of logic. The basic learning processes we as humans’ posses don’t allow for all that much flexibility.... There are:

1. Experience.
A sure method of comprehension; to experience is to understand. In direct correlation to the above proposition: The only way to understand a person is to be that person, hence the classical notion of: to defeat a monster one must himself become a monster or in modern context as crime investigators often say to understand and eventually stop a serial killer one must get in his/her head and in a comparable sense, become the killer.

2. Teachings.
Essentially language enabled learning which includes both auditory and visual stimulus.

The latter can be eliminated since we humans aren't provided a handbook on how god works (no, the bible doesn’t count) the only methodology remaining for understanding god is experience.

To become gods; is this the ultimate purpose; the end of evolution? To transcend the very nature of our existence?

___________________________________________________________ On Intelligent Design:

It seems to me that the hypothetical creation of a digital universe (essentially a highly advanced videogame) is simply a modern translation of the classic clockmaker metaphor for god and his peculiar machinations. It is vastly more effective under the newly enabled possibilities of virtual reality and virtual intelligences; however this does not denote credibility.

In any case, if you did create a videogame with highly advanced Artificial intelligences roaming a digital universe would you give the programmed A.I. the playing manual? Or rather a guidebook concerning the process by which the very universe in which they exist was created? No of course not. What would be the point of it all then?

If this videogame designer metaphor were true then might I suppose or rather propose that God has been AFK (Away-From-Keyboard) for far, far too longÂ
Rather he might have stopped playing the game entirely and left it running on auto-pilot.

When will we stop playing the game? When we learn once and for all how to win?
Should we be contented with having obtained the playing manual or should we reach for the guidebook; the blue prints and schematics; the very hand of god?

I’m an atheist but I’m not close minded. I don’t believe in the classical conceptions of god(s). All of this postulation brings me to a point, that we humans are God. humans are the only beings who can appreciate beauty, without us the concept vanishes from the universe. How is it we see and feel that which cannot be seen? Without us the notion of god is gone, and in a sense this means that we are an essential factor and quite possibly the whole.

Ranting as always,
-REV

__________________
_____________________________________\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Clubs and the sort' : <img class="avatar" src="http://a.deviantart.com/avatars/r/e/re...

"The Forge" by Seamus Heaney

All I know is a door into the dark.
Outside, old axles and iron hoops rusting;
Inside, the hammered anvil's short-pitched ring,
The unpredictable fantail of sparks
Or hiss when a new shoe toughens in water.
The anvil must be somewhere in the centre,
Horned as a unicorn, at one end square,
Set there immovable: an altar
Where he expends himself in shape and music.
Sometimes, leather-aproned, hairs in his nose,
He leans out on the jamb, recalls a clatter
Of hoofs where traffic is flashing in rows;
Then grunts and goes in, with a slam and a flick
To beat real iron out, to work the bellows

This is resonating message embedded in the lines and in-betweens of “The forge”, one that will resound for all time, but at this particular juncture it serves to remind humanity of what shadows it leaves in its wake. ~

The ancient craft of metal smith, the forge itself an archaic yet integral instrument, is as of modern occurrence, understood to be obsolete. The act is often replicated yes, but not by traditional means or circumstance, not even by human hands. It’s the coming and closure of an age that has altered this once renowned and amiable practice. Hydraulics now beat the hammer, machinery now oversees the forge, and the music that once gave light and life to the darkened interior is no more. ~

These days, one may tour a local Home-depot or Wall mart in search of a ever important, mass produced doorknob or tap dancing heel. But back in the day, the metal smith was “the man”-or woman when occasion permitted-whom all turned to. He didn’t just sell bargain priced disemboweling blades and dragon slaying arrows, he was the progenitor of technological aid. Whether pitchfork or pitcher, horseshoe or shaving razor, spoon or shield he was saving lives and furthering the efforts of humanity. Now… it is just another miracle cheapened by commerce. ~

The artist’s savior is the beaten heirloom, the unicorn horned hearth of prosperity and purpose; the hand-me-down hammer. There are homes for this art that have yet to fall; the occasional inheritance of knowledge, and the ever-growing establishment and teaching of the art can be found in various institutions around the world, namely the metalwork’s programs often found in Art Schools. This, to me, is a saving grace of which I am sincerely proud and gladdened by. As I typed these thoughts down, I realized how terribly tragic the situation might have been; how this majestic and honorable art form was nearly lost to the industrial age. ~

I’ve been found to I posses a natural affinity for swords; a particularly keen and vital agent of often conflicted “negotiations” through history. This interest can be logically reasoned through the coherent platform of family lineage. Being that my last name is Rosales, my bloodlines inevitably trace back to Spain. Namely, the conquistadors that were sent to Central America, to establish “mutual relations” with the native Incan and Mayan Inhabitants. I once asked my father how the Rosales name was imbued to a Guatemalan family and he replied that with the conquistadors came his great grandfather. My father told me of his sword; a treasured heirloom that had been passed down to him. That it was rusted as an antique was of no surprise, but the quality of the sword had been unnaturally resilient and steadfast over the years. ~

I’m quite certain the sword saved it’s owner on frequent occasion, theretofore securing the preceding generation and inevitably, my own birth. I firmly believe that I owe the sword my life, and so I must also acknowledge it creator, whom I will never know and likely never know of. ~

The time has come for a prompt end to this personal projection. In my honoring of the subject and as with the aforementioned sword, I must also honor the creator the poet, Seamus Heany... Thank you for the reminder. ~

As I slept, the light filtered through the seams in the window blinds. Through veiled eyes it signaled to my subconscious, the impending threat of day.

The sequences coinciding with my morning's REM sleep entailed a sunny afternoon at the park bench. Children sprawled in the grass, adults walking and playing with their pets, the sweet summer air distilling my nostrils, burrowing into my chest the chrysalis' housing of newly hatched butterflies and the inherent sprinkle of pollen. I pay little attention to the Frisbee that whirls past my head, mere inches from clipping my nose; It's a beautiful day.

I coaxed my eyes open, outstretched the length of my body under the cotton sheets. The abstract contours of my limbs haphazardly reshaped the existing hills and trenches. Had the surface of my burgundy bedsheets been a park that some sentient micro-organic being happened to be attending on this fortuitous hour, it's inscrutable eyes and heart would have beheld a catastrophe. Armageddon, Ragnarok, Judgment Day... the end of the world.

I willed myself out of bed and turned to look down upon it. The back of my skull was freshly imprinted on my pillows face, lit by a band of light right where my eyes had been a moment ago. Perhaps

I lifted the sheets from their resting place and commenced agitating the mutilated landscape. The dust that was released filled the immediate airspace of my room as I had anticipated and allowed me to locate the guilty stream of illumination that leaked in through the cracks.

Forty-six degrees, read the semi-translucent purple protractor as I struggled to align it to the fuzzy edge of the oddly angled column of light. It had been a lucky find amid the perpetually random contents of my night table drawer.

The sanguine lights of my alarm clock read 7:03 A.M. The sun couldn't possibly achieve such a forty-six degree pinpoint ray. Besides this, there was the odd my room was on the south side of the house and the sunrise was in the east. Even though the sunrise of the December winter solstice was significantly shifted from due east, the discrepancy alone did not account for the prerequisite vertical values necessary to produce the 46 degree self-luminous intrusion.

I considered the possibility of a black hole's light bending properties as the
culprit, having bent the axis and trajectory of a distant star 's radiation light years in advance to this fated interception. This particular ray of light may have traveled for a millennia through the vast, enveloping dark; unaware of it's predetermined destination. Ignorant of time and the impeding matter of planets, moons asteroids and finally satellites that it had missed by chance. All so that it may reach me at the apex of its billion year journey, long after the star from which it came burned out.

What had I done to deserve this cosmic wake up call? I wondered. Was there a piece of art I was to paint, that held such fervent invaluable universal significance as to bend time and space to it's conception? Was this a sign from a greater entity, or mere coincidence? Could I answer these questions? No. So, I decided it was useless to continue my philosophical barrage.

Cutting my contemplation short, I reeled apart the blinds and unlocked my bedroom window. As I slid the lower pane of glass in place above and beside the upper counterpart, the dust from my room rushed forward as an opening to the vacuum of outer space might inhale and consume the oxygen and carbon molecules of a space shuttle's artificial air; explosive decompression.

Except, there was nothing explosive about this occurrence. Not a bang, but a whisper. So serene were the particles escaping the enclosure of my brick and plaster walls that no words could justly express what I felt. If it were a silent-film, the inherent intermissions of text would have been rendered useless.

The particles danced and maneuvered gracefully amidst the morning air like a reveling colony of fireflies. Where they made contact with the particular column of light they glowed a golden hue and as they progressed outward from my room, they outlined and painted the path of light, leading directly to it's source. My yellow brick road. Not composed of bricks, though; but golden particles of dust, dead skin cells, and my all-time favorite: dust mite feces.

I've finally recovered enough from my "condition" to update. They told me it was post traumatic Halo 3 disorder... I really didn't require a doctor to know that...

As expected the finale to the most influential and inspiring videogame of my life was cataclysmic. From 8:30 to 12:10 am I stood (and sat on occasion) in line awaiting my limited edition halo 3. Four hours have never gone by so effortlessly fast. I was astounded at how much fun it all was. I chatted with fellow enthusiasts, won some Bawls in a trivia contest (fueled me through the night) and even traveled down the length of the line collecting everyone's Xbox live gamer tags. 46 in total. Yes, fresh meat. : )

The people there represented the halo community at it's finest. A grouping of all ages, I saw little kids with their parents and some guys old enough to be fathers possibly in their
30's. All of them were very enthusiastic and extremely friendly individuals. For the exception of some recluse here and there of course... but what can you expect from guys who sit at home and play games with complete strangers who’s faces they never see and present themselves to their "friends" as in-game avatars? It's a whole other life for some.

But I digress... having received my copy at 12:10 (tenth in line) I hurried home with my brother and watched him play through a portion of the first level. WE WERE FLOORED by the visuals, the game was beautiful! My brother departed shortly and I was left to exercise my title of self proclaimed halo whore. This is when the Bawls and its invaluable caffeine came into play. I considered playing by myself... but I decided against this. My cousin Wes and his 2 friends were online by this time and I thought: This is the first time I can experience the game together with my friends and family! I figured it would be considerably less boring if I went with the latter and thus I joined them in the online lobby for 4 player cooperative play, and played the ENTIRE GAME through that very night. We ended at 6:30 am having completed the campaign on Legendary. We were thoroughly satisfied. And sleepy......

The following morning I awoke at 12 am, after approximately 6 hours of sleep and regrouped with my cousin and friends to try out the multi-player. Yes it was a Wednesday morning. No I did not go to school. And YES!! Of course it was worth it!!!!

That week was the worst in terms of my addiction. I slacked considerably in my classes and played halo 3 the moment I got home. Food? Sleep? Homework? I would have none of it. Eventually my judgment won the battle. I realized I had a problem and had to ask my mother to confiscate the blasted game disc and store it away in the most secret of places she could conjure. It ended up being the top drawer of her dresser but it worked nonetheless... for a time.

It's quite true that the game is remarkably beautiful and packed with so many features that the replay value is indefinable. Only time will tell. It is also true that I have not had a chance to faithfully assess the story. I find that when people ask me "what of Halo 3" I never fail to remark how amazing a game it is. Yet my inner fan feels as though my judgment has been clouded or diluted by 1) the undeniable suckage that was halo 2 and 2) the feature driven "fun factor".

In short I'm having way too much fun to make an honest assessment.

Harry potter and the deathly hollows offered a sound and satisfying conclusion. I hoped halo3 would have such a respectable ending. However, halo 3 did not provide the full closer that I had dreamed of and expected. Instead it provided an end to this particular chapter or "ark" of the story (pun intended: P) but left room for more. In fact, it directly implies that there is more to tell. My guess is the remaining halo books yet to be written by Eric S. Nylund will truly finish the fight.

A few points:
Cortana's hinted "rampancy" was misleading and bluntly dismissed in the game. This I was rather sour about. Also the whole deal about the Diorama advertisements and "believe." commercials depicting a battle that never actually happens feels dirty and also misleading. The propaganda machine knows no virtue; holds no ground in morality.

On another note I was glad that they actually made an attempt to tie in back-story from the books into the story. However they may have tried a little too hard at that... The love story of Master Chief and Cortana... is at the cusp of romanticism. Take this scene for example: Master Chief finds Cortana after shooting his way through the flood infested covenant holy city, High Charity, or what's left of it anyway...>>

"Cort: "I didn't think you'd come back for me..."

MC:" You know me... when I make a promise..."

Cort: "...you keep it."

Master Chief doesn't make promi...

My art / photography teacher often says that the artist's work is never done, never truly finished in the eyes of the artist. I find this to be true of all things; for there is never truly an ending to any story... Holly Black inpart has unknowingly aided me in my realization that you can ask: "What happened next?" at the given ending for whatever tale. And maybe, quite possibly you will get an answer in return.
Some are content with the happy endings and that's perfectly fine.
Everyone in their mother is getting an xbox on E-bay nowadays' and boy, has that 'SPECIAL' feeling sure dissipated. Apaulogies for the eyesore that was my previous journal entry (ancient history for some) but I rather liked that whole Revage' (I make words too) thingy that I wrote. hrrrmmm... Well, yeah that does sound a bit narcisistic so allow me to remind you that I was without internet acccess for the past month or so as well. So don't hate me! : (

With that I rejoice in knowing that I am once again surrounded by great people & artists once again. .... I'll likely update this, but for now I must play at deciphering the shadows, for "Time flies over us, but leaves it's shadow behind." As Nathaniel Hawthorne once declaired.
"No more tricks..."

I've returned.

The revival, unto a review, not of past presumptions but a reversion, without revision of my cause to revel. He who is I to be revamped reviling of the crimes that dare grant idle hands revenue. It is of time and essence to revoke this stammering revolt. Elegantly it is but a revolution of mind, revolving about the revue' the ideals that we strive to revere. Lift hence this veil of reverie unsought. A sullen reverberation of revelation, upon who's mantle no revenge can reveal; only a reversal to the times when he who was, was known as, Rev.

I Have made my pilgrimage through the lands of Oblivion and though my quest is not yet complete, tis' this requisite disarray which I find myself embracing.

How do you like me now? Not a good sign that I have to exert force upon my will to work but I do and I am and I will.. for the time being.

Oblivion. It must have established itself in my mind as a real world by now. For when I do take in my hand the cold, plastic control, it is only moments before it surrenders to the warmth of my touch and only hours before I remember the walls surrounding me, and the real world outside awaiting me. Halo is different, with that you hold ties to the outside world through the real people you play with the friends and family that keep you rooted. But here it's non-stop. Here unlike other RPG's there are no cut-scenes to absently reveal to you that you aren't actually the protagonist; the hero. In this game you make of yourself what you will. It is the Land of do-as-you-please.

For now I await the Next Halo novel, the most revered Halo Graphic Novel, and the Mylar Print of Master Chief vs. The Scarab That Doomed Janissary so graciously ordered for me. You will be well compensated of course. ; )

I make my leave but not before I set something in it's rightful place: Voila!' A gift to all. A symbol of my return to fruition, Yes?

Bye now!

This is what I should have really posted in this journal entry, I had this written previously, after my birthday. //

This journal entry is dedicated to the month of March, 2006, Caesar, bungie, sega, my parents, and all my friends out there, both brothers and comrades.

It has ushered forth, laughter, joy, warmth, resentment, reminiscence, excitement, fear, elation; Smiles, and tears.

Just the other day, I stumbled across a post at the well-adjusted halo fan site, [link] forum. I didn't know what it was I was getting myself into but, when it struck me I could fond no way out, nor did I wish to.

What ever happened to all these bonds we had nurtured together? IT's difficult to remember sometimes all the people I've met all the feelings felt over the years.
The losses, the disagreements and the adrenaline inducing split second kills and caps, the reassurance in ourselves of working as a team.

[link]

As I read this I could not help but hear the words echo within myself, familiar. This person speaking. It's me.

It impacted with such force as to inspire me to action, downloading the latest Xbox connect as oppose to the out of date one I had on my desktop. I called up a friend of mine who lives within walking distance and set forth to the decadent grounds I had abandoned for so long.

Not long after came my father’s birthday on the 14th, My own and my brothers, on the same day, the 15. Planning for a celebration was something I dreaded. I did not want a lively party consisting of thousands of people; a humble get together with my best friends and loved ones seemed enough. However the dread lied within other news as well, My father was to be reviewed for citizenship here. Yes he is here illegally. thankfully everything went candidly. I was very worried. I mean they could have deported him right on the spot, and I would never have had a chance to say goodbye.

The Party was great. It was a welcomed change from the past: No more Halo-weenie roast (I shall miss thee). My cousin's band, the Paper Tragedy whom my shirt design is dedicated to, played that night. It was a wonderful feeling knowing that the simple fact that it was my birthday could affect so many people. By people I mean of course the neighbors who undoubtedly were kept awake. Thanks. : )

Goodnight all.

Wrah!

If there is one thing that I abhor about updating this Life-log we call a journal is having to search through the masses of halo related chapter titles for one, if any, that corresponds with my current entry. You see... most of my journals are titled with halo-derived quotes.

Sometimes, I shoot at random; such an occasion has just arisen...

"Warning: Some Journal entries, they have cheese inside!!!!!!"

Now if I may be so bold, step aside and I'll take this moment which you clutch to so dearly and rape it of all dignified comfort by using it to proclaim a late Happy Valentines day to you, my recognized reader. From which a significant helping is directed at Lucinda88, who was, is and ever will be deserving of more than the world over could present.

I'd also like to take a moment of silence to recognize ThatWeasel, of ThatweaselTelevision(thatweasel.tv). As misfortune would have it, he passed away on Feb7, due to what seemed to be the Avian bird Flu. A vary gracious and astute young man, and an avid halo fan and supporter. He gave fans the bandwidth, the chance to be heard when there was no place else to turn. He worked to bring us The Rockets on Prisoner Machinema Awards, and Grunts are people too just to name a few. For such admirable kindness and contribution to the halo community, he surely will not be forgotten. Rest in Peace ThatWeasel; you’re forever futurized.

I don't suppose it does any good to linger on such things, so I'll move along to more recent eventualities:
"Self-confidence is the first requisite to great undertakings."

And while on the subject of "Great undertakings" I suppose it'd be appropriate to mention my trip to the Coconut Grove Art Fest. This Sunday. It’s only right, considering all the amazing works to be found this year; I was significantly impressed with the majority of artists there. Took a stroll for about an hour or two with my brother and his 'fiancé', so I didn't get a chance to gander at all the pretty art, but I did nab a business card off those that I found most of all interesting.

So here is a list of sites, all of artists whose work I found astounding. So take a look-see if you will:

\\ Suzyscarborough.com

\\ Cicadabooks.com

\\ Tardysculpture.com

\\ Funkyflatware.com

\\ Herzogart.com

\\ Tgall.com

^ Mind you those are just some of my personal picks. You can find many more references at coconutgroveartsfest.com.

Haven’t visited all the sites myself, yet I'm definitely planning on doing so soon, as I have work to do for my 2D-DESIGN AP portfolio this year. Allot of what I plan on including is in my gallery right now, but I have plenty of time to incorporate new things between now and may.

Time to come back around to, that's right ladies, and Michaels: HALO NEWS.
And what have we today? Eh... 'err... not very much. Halo 2 is coming for PC on the new Windows ....uhm, what was it VISTA? OH, ok. Yeah, Bungie posted a video with our dearest Frankie guiding us through the semi-new Bungie headquarters in Seattle, where they have a monster Air-Conditioning unit the size of two of those two story busses. You get an idea... In any case it's hilarious and definitely worth a watch.

Ooooooh, I'm so proud of the next piece of news:

I was listening to the radio a few days ago and caught the name of the band "STAPLE", and their new album: "Of Truth and Reconciliation".

Being the avid halo fan that I proclaim myself to be, I had to go and find the 7RUTH. I forwarded them an E-mail through staplemusic.com on the specifics of their latest album's title. Surely enough they acknowledged my plea and replied that Yes they had adopted the title from Halo and are big fans of 1 and 2.

Oh yes. I knew it. : )

Logging out for now.

Brain itch.

Is there medication for such a thing?

So then, It's 2006 already, and where have my manners been in keeping up with the times? I'm not doing any of my loyal fans justice; I'm so sorry you guys, I know how hard it must be to sign on deviant every hour or so in hopes of finding an updated log of my life, but alas I fail you time and again... (just kidding! : In all sincerity, I'll tell you where my manners have been, blockaded behind an incessant barrage of concerns and priorities. I'm literally being pummeled to death. However, I've decided this year to take heed, any concerns pertaining to my scores in school and in life. (Yes, I know what you’re thinking, OMFG a new years resolution!!! Wowie! Well, grow up children; honestly.)

You know… if you ever need a good pick me up on a rainy day, do yourself a favor: Order down some Chinese take out from your local restaurant and set yourself up with some fortune cookies. Give 'em a crack and you'll find your self a changed man (or woman... or Michael.). They always seem to contain just the right message; you'll feel as though it was destined to unravel itself in your palm. Even if you’re well aware that they are mass produced and about a quarter of the populace is biting, cracking, smashing into and even spitting out on occasion, the very same sentence. Now, don't let that retract from the value of the statement, oh my no

As it stands, my parental unit(s) recently rang up THE Chinese restaurant, and I got my bi-weekly fortune coooookie. (Yes, that’s right; THE Chinese restaurant is the place’s name...) I think I'm going to record my fortune cookies in my journal entries from now on. Ohhhhh… then anyone can post whether they've gotten the same message, and whether it held any relevance to them at the time! Hmm, sounds nifty, I think I'll start today!

Bi-Weekly Fortune Cookie Quote
(BWFCQ!!)//________________________________________ ______

“Success will not attack you. You must attack it.” <__< O0o0o0OH….

In light of that, I find myself currently loaded with both personal and academically related art projects to endure over the course of the coming weeks. If I manage to successfully stabilize my procrastination and complete ‘em, I may upload pictures onto Divi. Nonetheless this here fortune sings to me. It preaches perseverance and determination.

I've got a couple ideas for sculptures, mind you I'm not seeking to garner anything from you guys, but to simply share. However, if you have any suggestions feel free to chime in!

1. Making an oragami Crane, out of Metal. I have a sheet of some durable metal, tin possibly, have a spot welder, scissors; the works. But help me out here... what can this symbolize? Any relevence? Like say... Paper cranes are helpless against flame, but a metal crane overcomes that, I could even heat it up till it's red in an open fire. That would be cooool. Hrrrmmm....

2. Wooden board / black, Iron / white, and brain/ red. On the board the iron should be ironing the brain, having already flattenned a portion in it's wake. Flatttenning out the WRINKLESSSS!!!! Fooly cooly anyone? ..... no, well the idea of an iron smoothing out the wrinkles in the brain. I always thought that was brilliant. But what could it mean????? Mind you, it doesn't have to mean anything, could just look cool too. In my posession, I have the iron and board, but the brain, how do I go about getting or making it? Any ideas? I neeeed help. : (

Sigh....

“All work and no play makes jack a dull boy.”

May not be a fortune cookie quote, but actually from a psycho killer… but I still agree with dear jack. Whenever I find myself with some spare time, which thanks to my procrastination, is relatively often, I either spend it: reading, on the internet (now), stimulating the mondula-oblingata’ with the girlfriend, or on the 360 trashing those of my buddies who actually own one. Time well spent? Indeed.

Or not. I have been out of the Halo loop for a while after all… Not necessarily a bad thing at times, but I can never truly escape it. After all it’s allover my walls, my computer and my mind. Scattered and itchy

Despite how ill kept things may seem about my page, I’ve been hard at work trying to keep busy backstage. so stay tuned O___O !!!
Things have been good though; Life's looking up.

My artists block is clearing up and I’ve got a few things in the works. It feels good to progress. It truly does.

The Xbox 360 has been in a fair state of use. Been playing half-Life 2, It’s a really interesting and innovative game I mean, it’s all right plot-wise but the gravity gun just makes for some really cool happenings. Not to mention the game has a tendency to make you think , and be aware of your surroundings. It’s real edgy.

Still waiting on The Elder Scrolls 3: OBLIVION… and the Xbox 360 web-cam.

I can dance all day guys… I can dance all day

Haven’t played much halo, but I’ve still hung around the Machinema scene. Can’t get enough of that stuff. Although RedvsBlue will always be a classic I can’t help but think the Codex Series is the prime example of the art at its best.

Podatcular: the unofficial halo 2 podcast is also another thing out there that I’ve kept tabs on. It’s a well established talk show hosted by Fumo-jive and spelchek. They mow over all general news aspects of halo and Xbox. From level specific tips for the noobies to matchmaking update overviews. All the hot topics of the week. Great show; check ‘em out! >< at [link] !!
OFF TOPIC SIDE NOTES //________________________________________ ______

Read 2 books this month: 'Acceleration' and 'Sw33t Blood'.

'Acceleration" details the life of a seventeen year old with a solitary dead end job at a subway lost and found. Well, the case is that you never know what might turn up lost. It so happens that Duncan- the protagonist- comes across a book that’s just waiting to be found. It's the journal of some sick dude who gets his kicks from torturing/killing animals. Duncan gathers from the last pages of the book that this guy has developed his psychosis enough to try actual people for a change. Duncan experienced a traumatizing incident a year back where a girl drowned in the same lake as him. He had tried to save her, but failed in vain. So he sees this as a chance for reconciliation. Maybe he can ensure that this maniac never touches a living being. To do this though he'll have to sink to the level of a cockroach, lurking in the depths of shadow; become the killer in order to stay one step ahead and beat him at his own game. Before it's too late.

\\Yep some light reading alright. Man was that book intense. Whew…plays out in your head like a true suspense / thriller on the big-screen.

Next up was 'Sw33t Blo0d'. An intelligently written tale of teen angst, diabetes and vampirism. Quite the chemistry there; really, you'd be surprised. The main character Lucinda - which by the way means Light *nudge nudge* ; ) - is a sixteen year old girl diagnosed with diabetes not long after an unnecessary rabies shot she was given. when Lucy was younger she picked up bat out of curiosity, the parents were startled and she was given a rabies shot even though it had been in no state to bite her; the thing had been dead the entire time. When one day, she came across some coincidental facts: The symptoms of untreated diabetes resemble those of so-called ‘vampirism’. Therefore she theorized that people in ancient times with diabetes were the foundation for the vampire legend and myth that we know today. In the book Lucinda trails off the dealings of her life's given path: School, parents, and diabetes. Throughout her misadventure Lucinda finds only lies and deceit. She realizes that all the truth she has searched for she’s had all along at home; a duty to herself, friends and family.

\\ The book lends a strong understanding of the hardships of diabetes. Well written and informative, the author holds a keen talent for reading people, and their actions.

Any of you whom I know personally, can borrow the books when I own my own copies. If you’re interested you’re gonna’ have to wait a tad, considering they belong to [link]

Got my 360 on the midnight launch date and have been mindlessly toying around with the possibilities the console itself solely provides. Great stuff.
The new console was welcomed in my home and dropped me back into the halo scene somewhat as of late.

Thanks to my gracious lover, I've also gone into quite an over-due reading binge the past two months. In doing so I've been exposed to some fantastically enlightening material. Despite the welcomed nuisances however, priorities are running high in the real world. I remember when the world held no ties to me other than my self concerning art. Do I miss those days? Hells, no! I couldn't be more content with my girlfriend, and the myriad canvas of artistry that is her body and soul. I love you.

I'm currently experiencing some minor hindrances with my art, but I'll get over them soon enough. I've got some one to hold (stab) my hand all the way through after all. I've got a bazillion window of opportunity open to me. Suffice to say, I have only a one way ticket. Best make of it what I can. : )

Another day hollows by. I'm aided in passing the time by the wonderful resource that is electricity; and of course the "Shaun of the Dead" DVD. This has been so graciously lent to me. : )

A lot of free time came hand in hand with hurricane Wilma. Both during and after the storm. The latter primarily, considering the power was out for about 4 days or so... One wonders why I have yet to buy one of those tiny screens and battery packs for my Xbox. T__T How shameful.

As in any such case, you begin to appreciate a lot of things once they are forcibly taken away. And I don't just mean halo...or Xbox.... or halo 2, by no means. No, sir. The daily routine that you’re accustomed to is nonexistent, you've got to improvise. Sometimes that could be fun, maybe even bring some welcomed change into our lives but it sinks in due time. It's especially hard to find something, any activity of interest, at night.

thankfully however, being the artist and self proclaimed whore that I am, I believed I managed my time quite well... and I've got plenty to show for it! So I think its time to go on a submission spree of sorts!! (Self proclaimed of course.) No more bi-yearly updates for a while. I hope... : P
No. that's a horrible analogy. I would prefer the latter over this...

For those of you who havn't experienced hurricanes. Well, consider yourselves lucky, 'cause hurricanes SUCK. We'll you might be thinking: "Ah jeez...err, a lot of things suck rev." Well, do all forms of sucking render you homeless? How about causing billions over billions worth of property damage? Not to over dramatize the situation, because that may not always be the case, but when it is… well you get it.

I can’t even say out of experience whether it sucks, because well, I’ve been spared the live tutorial part of this lesson, and am hoping to get an extended delay before Wilma comes along. Doesn’t look likely though.

Well then, Now that that’s over and done… I can’t add much. Hrrmmm…. Bungie released Team hardcore play list, honestly I haven’t had the chance to play it, no thanks to a certain some one ; suffice to say I’ve been rather busy. Haven’t kept many tabs on the Bnet news

I did get around to reading the old English and translated version of ‘Beowulf. Whom some might recall as a gloomy ONI spook AI in the Fall of reach novel. I was always curious to see what significance his name held, if any. Turns out Beowulf is a glorified hero, who beats the ass out of some monsters and then finds himself dying at the menacing fires of a dragon as an old man. A hero.. doesn’t fit Beowulf’s demeanor much. Oh well, no relevant data other than the historical. Although I did enjoy reading it.

Games. Not a lot of gaming going on in my life. I was into fable a week ago, maybe it was the prospect of it being 17 bucks. And maybe, just maybe, it had something to do with me being a cheap bastard. : ) Good game generally. Not the greatest RPG of all time by far… that title is saved for Oblivion. God, that things going to steal my soul for a few months. I also have Farcry: Instincts at my disposal but have yet to play it over Live. The custom map builder sounds like a blast though.

I could babble incessantly about games, really, but I digress; living in the real world can also be fun with the right circumstances : )

Take it easy everyone! >>> Halo fest this upcoming weekend.

Happy HALOWEEN : )

Now, I’m sure you’re experiencing an all too familiar feeling here as you’ve likely read countless other posts just as the following. You don’t have to read this; you’re easily able to skip this paragraph without me ever knowing. However, I do hope you decided otherwise. It’s a shame when you realize your ignorance for the forces that shaped this world and do so to this date.

A week ago, on Thursday, Katrina took a deafly received blow to Miami, where I live. I had barely moved in to my new home two days prior to her arrival. At the time Katrina was around a category 1, and even so she gave everyone here a hard night in comparison to previous storms. Before it's even started however, the winds are gone and so is the electricity. that means no Halo. But truly that’s nothing I can’t live without… for a few days. In all seriousness, I’m just thankful to hear that my family is fine and our new home is undamaged. To my surprise that very morning following the storm I wake up to a flooded street teaming with people cleaning their yards, sharing experiences and in some cases just taking a walk. My neighbors even welcomed me to the neighborhood for the first time. To which I replied sarcastically motioning towards my surroundings: “Yeah, what a warm welcoming.”

During the following days, word of the storm heading through the gulf towards New Orleans was difficult to overlook. Currently however, I have been neglecting the people in Louisiana... The human beings who have had their lives stripped away by a relentless turn of events. I suppose, there is a part of me that would rather not know truly how catastrophic and depressing the situation is there. I really don’t know enough of endurance to grasp what is going through your minds. But as a human being, and as an artist, I do have imagination, and that alone is enough to isolate the fact of the matter: No one wants to be in that situation. EVER. To lose everything, even in some cases more than just objects of value but loved ones.

Bungie has the right idea. Don’t neglect these people, they don’t need that. What they DO need is help. We can all help. Bungie has made it so that the proceeds, of a certain T-shirt they have just made, go to the Disaster relief. The least you can do is follow Bungie’s righteous lead as I have for the past 4 years. They are great people.
"FIGHT THE FLOOD!"[link]
________------IN OTHER NEWS------__________

Jessica Alba as Cortana anyone? Samuel L. Jackson as Johnson? I can dream. However I don’t have to dream when it comes down to grunties! Jason Jones made it clear that there were going to be grunts. And that alone is reason enough to go watch the movie in 2007. Need I say more? Not me, but Bungie had plenty to say in last week’s “WeeklyWhat’sUpdate.” So if you haven’t already go read it, you foolish fools!

Oh, and since I mentioned fools, I think its appropriate to also mention: The 4th season of RedvsBlue has just kicked off this week and man is it a hilarious start, check it out, you Machinema crazed whores! [link]

Hrrrmm… Speaking of Machinema… I’m taking cinematography classes and am strongly considering making a Machinema film of my own which my teacher is very interested in; she'd never heard of the darn thing, what a shame. Get with the times lady... : ) If you have any experience with making Machinema I’d be very appreciative if you could give some advice to a modest fellow. : )

Speaking of modest fellows... meh'... I think I've sadi too much. Enjoy your labor day everyone. Donating blood and buying "Fight the Flood" shirts would make it all the more enjoyable though : )

Summer adversities

Bleh. Out of school; no more issued assignments and projects to be held responsible for. Joy. Spent the first week celebrating with friends over Xbox live for the most part and surprisingly enough I've found that things have been going rather slowly. So I figure its time to get back to work. After all, I do want to put these two months to some good use. To keep myself busy in between sessions of Halo and Phantasy Star Online I'll be working on some art, reading up on some books, writing, free running and whatever I can to keep myself busy.

One of the art projects I just began was inspired by Star wars Ep. 3's general grievous. whom I just fell in love with in the Clone wars cartoon series. Despite his inspiring ownage in the cartoon he got pwned in the movie, I think, far too easily. A shame. : ( In any case I've been studying his figure which I've found very interesting to draw.

Yet another contributing factor in encouraging my artistic development over the summer would be 'The Art of Halo' book that I just bought a few days ago. I suppose I never truly understood the development process well enough to admire all the work and hours put into making a videogame. Not just any video game, mind you, but a Fine one at that. From the concept artists to the modelers to the animators and writers, the people at Bungie are all part of one large symbiotic relationship. Something I would hope to be a
part of in the future.

The book in turn has inspired me upon furthering my skills in conceptualizing and harmonious relationships. As you can see I've added a website button to my Halo 2 clan's website. as many might understand its no easy task to maintain a static order in a clan of 30+ people. So this challenge I've taken up. Thankfully many of the fellow members, those I know more personally, have taken interest in this as well and its coming along just fine. Just two examples of how halo has influenced my life.

Also been delving pretty deep into the world of Ghost in the Shell. The Stand alone series, the first movie and the second are all masterpieces crafted with undertones of science fiction, philosophical, and psychological themes. Not to mention the approach in the artistic light is always groundbreaking in its seamless mixture of GC animation with traditional means. It's something to behold over and over again. All of which interest me profoundly. Taking psycology class soon : ).

In anycase, I hope all of you out there have a worthwhile summer! Enjoy it : P.

Book____
Oh, oh! Got the New installment of Orson Scott Card's Ender Series! Shadow of the giant, . Great read so far. Tried to read the 360-something page book as slowly as I can manage, but I can't seem to be able to put the damn thing down at times... soooo goood, I don't want it to end so quickly.

Game_____
Finished Resident Evil 4, FINALLY! After a month's worth of my pussy tactics, I've prevailed. I have to say that it's one of the greatest refined games of its genre, if not of all time, that I've had the chance to pwn. Absolutely amazing. Can't wait for the novelazation of it all...

Event____
My Birthday-fest is coming next Tuesday. Halo-weenie-roast time! I'm beginning to think this'll be a guy-only gathering, considering the conditions. Ah, well... after all, it's quite common for a grouping of 16 adrenaline pumped men to enclose themselves in a room for a days worth of pizza gorging and Halo playing. Right..?

'eh. I'll have to make some accommodations...
That's a lot of pizza after all.

:::Reverence as of late:::

Hrrrmm... As of recent, my friend has begun lending me several DVD's at a time (which I'm quite grateful for by the way *cough cough*). So far, (hoping this goes on for a while longer) she’s lent me the entire Mini-series of .Hack: Legend of the twilight. Gotta' recommend this to any of you RPG and Halo gamers out there. (That's you!) If the Original .Hack series is greater; I’ve yet to find out. Regardless, this anime completely changed my prospective on how video games should be regarded and played.

Video games are made to be enjoyed by all, not to spite others with your petty cheating and delusions of grandeur. Remember, some people play their video games to get away from the real world. A world filled with assholes like those that are ruining the experience Halo 2 online games. Something that really holds potential to be enjoyable.

I now regard everyone I play with as a dear friend; not a stranger whose feelings are irrelevant to me. We're fighting either against each other or together, but ultimately for the same goal. And all in all, it's just a game. Have fun.

-GG's everyone.
Ah, well. Now that I've gotten all that I never got the chance to say out of my system, I can finally renovate around here. Thanks to all the people that stopped by while I was on vacation(playing Halo 2 to death), and to all the new Halo junkies that have added me to their freinds list! I'm acually quite happy having waited some time till I shared my opinions with Halo 2. I mean, many people had already told me that the ending was going to be one hell of a cliff hanger, so I wasn't all that dissapointed, however, Having gotten the game at 12:08 Am on November 9 and beating it on that same day didn't allow me to truly take in and indulge the grandness of Halo2. Now that I look back upon it, I can say that its truly a step up from halo: combat evolved. Exploring the vast campaign levels and the intricacy of the game mechanics and multiplayer map design, It's a work of art.
Currently trying to memorize his ornately detailed armor..... *sigh*

Well It's good to be back! I took a few days off of halo 2 XBL to play Knights of the old republic 2: the sith lords; and now that I'm done well....
it's time to own some n00blets. : )

Well, yesterday marked the fifth day till that miraculous day where we’ll all embark on our ways to save the world.

Myself I decided to make one final step in preparation. I went down to the EB games, where I had pre-ordered it, to pay the game fully on the spot.

Well, I arrive there and sure enough all the employees, yes the both of them, were sporting a halo 2 lanyard with halo 2 timer pin. Nice. The guy in line ahead of me was there preordering his copy of halo 2. I commented on his behalf saying: "It's never too late." Followed by a curt smile. Well, as it turns out the employee at the register is a fellow halo junkie, and we end up chatting for some time.

He mentions of load of goodies which they've received this morning. He motions for me to look behind him, and surely there’s a poster rack filled with halo 2 posters, and 2 racks of halo 2 shirts. Sw33t. So naturally, I would have hated myself for skipping out on such an opportunity. I bought one of each and after doing so, we talked some more over how overly profound halo 2 was going to be.

I had yet to pay fully the reserve, which was what I had come to do in the first place, so I did so. As I did, the guy went into the back storage room, and came back explaining that they had received an extra "one of these", in his hands was a halo 2 lanyard. The very same one he was wearing. "You want it, man?" I reluctantly said yes, and was about to question him on the price when he just handed it to me. "Take it, man. It's all yours." Free of charge. I thanked him some... 12 times and I'm off, fulfilling my duty for the day.

I' had given some thought toward purchasing a lanyard earlier from the Bungie store online, and how joyous it would be to wear my ID to school with that. That guy was a great man. Just goes to show ya' the Bungie fan community is the greatest.

"Halo 2's release is like an oncoming run of the bulls, heading straight for your house from a long way off, with the hooves just keep growing louder and louder and louder."

"Late last night, 27 days before its officially scheduled retail release, a complete version of Microsoft's upcoming first-person shooter Halo 2 was leaked to the Internet. The pirated release, a PAL version of the game with French-language dialogue, is currently making its way around various Usenet newsgroups and peer-to-peer networks."

I'm going to say this now and clear.

If you, or any of your friends decide to downlaod the illegal copy of Halo 2, you're in for a world of hurt. First off, things like this can ruin the chance of a continuation in the series. secondly, you will be caught. Microsoft isn't like Halflife2's creators.. THEY WILL find those responsible and deal with it.

I recomend no mentioning of if you have the game, until after nov. 9th. Microsoft and others do watch this site, like other sites on the web. IF they even think you do, it's possible you'll be recieiving some nasty postal mail or door people.

I can't stress enough how important it is that you don't download it, even if you find it.

I can't begin to give my condolences to the Bungie team. Piracy Really REALLY sucks. I'm sure those of you that have had art Pirated would understand.

Alright! With the recent re-opening of the Bungie store I can finally fulfill my ever wavering dream of becoming a walking halo-2 billboard of ultimate loyalty and fandom!

Time to spend what precious money I have at hand on the simple pleasantries! Yes, folks, by simple pleasantries of course, I mean The Halo-2 Master Chief Helm from Nightmare Armor studios and a simple yet self explanatory Halo 2 Tee shirt. As well as, my H2 keychain. Yes, Now I shall pick up my keys whenever dropped with superlative pride! Ha-ha....... . .

Otaku Con is coming right around the corner .for all of you not 'In the know' here in Miami, there's a convention being held in Miami Beach from December 17 to the 19, graciously providing thousands of junkies like me, with a roof during this event. A group of friends and I plan on joining the fray. Myself, I shall be going mainly for the inclusion of an Xbox and Halo station courtesy of Scorpico. (Not halo-2 sadly )

(**Edit I recently realised that December comes around after November... S as it turns out I cantacted the guys at Scorpico, via their forums, and they briskly answered me that It's quite possible that microsoft will be running a Halo2 Tournie during the Otaku Con )**

Even, so I'll be spending my hours melded deep into whatever manner of seating apparatus there might be at the Xbox station. (Couches preferably)

I'd like to think the Mc helmet I'll be wearing during my visit will strike fear into he hearts of the other players there, if any, considering I shall be faceless and expressionless throughout event, I believe this will give me an ever so slight edge on the competition. Not that I need it with my F-control and L33T skillz on hand .

All, in all I hope to get the damn helmet and shirt in time for Halloween and infallibly, November 9th. I shall ensure my copy of a crisp Halo 2 special edition with my funky symbol of flawless loyalty and respect!

Take care guys and gals!
It’s coming our way, oh yes, it's coming. And unlike charley this one is believed to actually ruffle us up a bit. I'm rather skeptical on the whole thing. I'm not excited nor am I frightened, but when I woke up this morning the lights around me flickered and the computer screen died out. I was pretty shocked that the power was going out so soon... I mean I was just waking up damnit.

The power came back shortly after I ate breakfast which my mother had been making when the power was still up and running. Now I'm typing this hoping that I don't get cut off from the world while as I’m typing…cause’ that would suck quite badly. Ah, well...as I said before the wind is definitely picking up at this time. And it's not dying out as it did with charley.

Put the shutters up yesterday at 7 AM. I'm glad we did because, now as I survey my surrounding neighbors they are all rushing back and forth and either putting up shutters or just applying wood. Thanks to Yesterday's handiwork, I'm not outside right now hauling ass, and instead I can type this to you.

Well hence the title, most of my family is huddling up in my grandmothe'rs house. This is a rather large place with way too many windows and doors. I'm staying home with my mother my mom's step-father and his mother.
While my cousins are bunched together, I'm alone.

Doesn't look too bad from where I'm standing
Going to play a round of halo with a few buddies while the power is still up.
Well, suffice to say... I'm rather disappointed with hurricane charley... I might be crazy...but I was kind of looking forward to the hurricane’s reckoning...

I do realize, however, now...that it was merely a stroke of good fortune, which I should be more thankful for, that it missed Miami, and instead, hit nearly all of the east coast and central Florida. I have reviewed the damage as of recent news reports and it seems quite bad over there...plenty of people homeless and even larger numbers left with no electricity... quite harsh. I feel shameful for stating the first sentence above... I have even said it aloud to a few friends. Seeing the destruction left in Charley’s wake saddens me to no such extent.

Well, in other non-hurricane related news, I caught AvP at an eight o' clock showing today! haha! I was rather impressed with the whole concept. The movie was great, some nice ownage by both alien and predator : P

On a side note:
School starts this monday...I'm freakishly not-so-excited about the whole event of back to school I was going to the school which none of my friends were originally heading, so... naturally, I was rather bummed out, considering I had some great friends there.. Although as of yesterday a fellow halo-junkie and good friend of mine received a call from my school, he was accepted : P So now at least I don't have to start totally anew this year... cool.

Take care every one.

Well, on recent weather induced news, there is a hurricane by the name of charley heading in the general direction of florida's west coast.

now, now,...I do live in miami, quite a bit of distance there... But my cousin however, he is situated in the very center of the mess. I think he'll be coming to visit soon. Which is a rather good thing. At least I shall be able to own him up in a few rounds o' halo before we all die unless of course the power goes out... that would suck quite badly..
Recently, I've watched 'I robot' and Spiderman 2. Both being some of the greatest films I've ever sat through. Well... I'm rather skeptical, considering I had low expectations for 'I robot' before I saw it, learning throughout the movie that it had a rather greater plot than the one supposedly advertised in the previews, really amplified the whole experience seven-fold. So..don't take my word for it. lol.

Ah well, Spider man was definitely a worth while watch : ).
Oh! and, by the way there's a new Halo cinematic ad currently showing in Loews theatres. You can catch it before a number of movies, including 'I, robot', he he.
The Halo story, being as intense and utterly world consuming as it is, consists of the actual Game, and 3 novels branching off from the concept. All 3 are written superbly by authors EricS. Nylund , and William C Dietz. These are mostly here for the fans that enjoy digesting the Halo universe in a mere 3 sittings.
- For those fans who have reached some unreachable kind of musical inspiration... therein lies the ominous Halo soundtrack at your local music place. Do yourself a favor, and give your cash up to the godly Marty O’Donnell for his magnificent work.
- To those halo addicts that enjoy watching television on their off hours, there lies Halotv. Yes, Halotv. Not exactly a channel on your basic cable network, nor can you get this on satellite, but as strange as this may sound, one can marvel at the fandom of the halo community whilst watching endless sessions of Tournaments and/or all out fooling around on the internet. Halotv.net. I’d recommend Halotv for those noobies that might feel a bit outta' place... Oh yes. And there is also RedVsBlue, one of the most popular Halo spin-offs. Grossly entertaining by any standards, it went wide-spread when the season 1 DVD was released to the world.
- Are you a collector? Enjoy showcasing all of your collectible action figures? Well, dread no more! For Bungie so graciously set a deal with joyride studios to release a countless number of sets of Halo action figures. If you haven’t already grabbed one or two Master Chief Figures, I'm sure you can indulge at your basic gaming store (Gamestop).
- Myself, being an artist... I look to this Halo game for many an inspiration. Bungie has a great fleet of concept artists at hand, with Lorraine McLees at the head of the campaign. Her work is the catalyst of my daily halo conceptualizing.
- I, with no shame whatsoever admit to being one fan out of a vastly myriad community. And being so, I yearn for my dietary dose of halo every single day. So where do I turn? What if alone? One control in hand? Wouldn’t hold me up very long...no. That is, if not for a great innovation christened XboxConnect! XBC among LAN parties, is what binds myself to my many family members, and friends. Amongst countless strangers, soon to be friends.
- For some however, Halo Pc is the place to be. For the modders and not so faint of heart to congregate.
- I know that for many people, including myself, Halo has had a massive impact on their overall lifestyle. I was a dazed and confused boy until that inevitable day came where Halo arrived at my doorstep in my older brother’s arms, and picked me up out of the mist and cloud cover.
- I have indulged in all the tasks listed above during the span of these 3 god-given years since the Release of Halo. The bonds I've grown know no bounds. I love my life so much more, knowing now, finally, that in actuality the respawn attribute doesn’t take effect after dying in real life... err. Bummer.

What is life with no Halo?

I'm your average conceptual artist, seeking light and inspiration in every seamless moment of life.

I abide by those rules of the pencil and paper. Always sketching away aimlessly, in a matter of speaking.
I find my road through various mediums. Inspiration spilling over my mind, a constant flow of pristine images, and conceptual contemplation.

Photoshop and digital mediums I have yet to fully grasp. I feel that I should stay within my reach; within my own boundaries, until I feel prominent that I can move on.

I am learning, after all.

Of course, I suspect the feeling to be mutual to a respectful amount of people.

I dislike judging myself and others, but even so, I find that I'm one of those people in this world that enjoy helping others and let's no one person stray too far. And I can tell you now; there is no greater feeling than to save some one from the hopeless abyss of seclusion, and hate.

I am my brother's keeper and the finder of lost children; I lead all those that I may find through the less-perilous road across the valley of darkness.

Of course there those like me, that tend to cross paths.

I hope you'll enjoy my work, as I tend to include Homage from various other artists in many of them.

Thanks.
My fears were fully realized... How much I depended on my computer and internet provider for most trivial of tasks.

Ah, well... I suppose it was for the best.

For a long while now I've met and seen many other artists who appreciate Sonic the Hedgehog as I have for the past 10 years. I've also come to realize just about everyone had their own character which they created in their likeness.

Just as I lost all source of internet I locked myself in my room occassionally and began the conceptual journey to which would lead to my own character. At least I Hoped.

After about a month of soul searching and material gatherings from my freinds, I ended up with something I was rather happy with.

I have christened it – Seraph

Well, Mar, now I can take you up on that art trade offer! lol
I have only been around here for about a month and have been commented on by so many fellow artists, who's work is far greater than mine. I have seen so much this month. Learned too much.

And I Hope that the time that is ahead of me will be worth while. You guys are awesome. All of you.

We are all great artists on our own. Artists who will never have their work recognized by the likes of normal people. Until the moment of true life becomes known.
Good luck to all of you.
It’s sad, really... a man with so much power, respect, money, and control in his country, To be confined to an exaustfully small makeshift hole in the ground.
Well... I guess we can finally start looking for Bin Ladin again. I'm sure our troops will be inspecting every home , for rugs which suspiciously throw off the houses' Feng Shui.

Well, Nine days till Christmas already... and, man, are the shopping malls packed!!! To the point where you can’t take a step ahead of you, without tripping over some random shopper. But, I suppose that’s what I get for shopping at the last minute….

Considering… I have yet to begin shopping

In any case, Thanks to all who commented and took the time to look at my work. All of you are great artists in your own way… and, yes, I know how corny that sounds… but it’s true, damnit. I have taken the consideration to look at all of your stuff, and all of it is uniquely badass, on its own. Every one has their own views, whether they be on life, love, pain, and/or death. Not specifically in that order mind you

Well, I have much more shizzo’ in the queue. Not to mention I am learning to use Photoshop, to some extent, to color my stuff. If any of you guys’ or gals’ have any advice on that, I’d be forever grateful. : )
