Shmooi Zazzle Shop Commissions 5 Slot Sale

I'm working on a few things on and off when inspiration hits. I'll link a couple here so you can see what I'm doing at the moment. First is the Mother Nature picture I started semi-recently Nature scrap. The background is going to be time-consuming, I just know it. The other is a portrait I did a while ago and I'm taking it up again Portrait scrap, I'll need to fix a few things on it.

Everything else I haven't uploaded into scraps but I have about 7-10 that inspiration hit me with then left me midway through or commissions interrupted me from.

Lotsa stuff going on. Didn't get to finish most of my drawings 'cause my dad was visiting so I'll get working on that soon.

The 5 slots commissions can't be up forever so I'm thinking I'll be making a deadline of Aug. 8th

I'm seriously going to college this time around and I have my sights on RISD. :> Also, I know nothing of the process(complete n00b) so any advice would be crazy awesome.

I got my RAM some days ago but now I have to send my motherboard back so they'll fix it or send me a new one. |:
Everything is late because of this and I haven't been able to comment on deviations because the laptop's screen is kind of funky...SO...yeah. That's what's been going on.

I can't update my sites either and I might lose everything on my hard drive if it keeps acting up which is horrendous but I kind of like the 'starting over' feel.

Anyway, if you've been wondering why I'm not getting to your super cool new deviation and putting my two cents in, that's why. 8D; Almost 200 deviations to get to, har.

Itching for my tab pen.

EDIT: My computer has keeled over but my bro gave me his old motherboard with on sound & everything. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get the ram for a while. The one I have isn't compatible. >:

Getting to work on those shoes and stickers for Zazzle.
I also have some commissioned images that I'm doing that are outside of my normal styles so I'll upload those. That's about it for now.

I'm also pretty disturbed at how cheap people are doing things these days. I mean, I understand some people but others are like whoa...$2 - $5?
Economy aside, don't sell yourself short.

I'm taking commissions one after another so it's definitely open right now. I also updated the commission base prices: Commissions

I'm also going to work on my Zazzle shop. Right now I'm thinking of doing shoes & stickers but I'm not too sure what to put on them so I'll make a poll right after this so you guys can let me know what's hip and whatnot.
A bit of a crisis situation at the moment so I need all the commissions I can get, though that doesn't mean I won't work all that much harder on them rather the opposite. I'll work ten times harder on them which makes my perfectionist side smile a bit deranged. Hm. I think that's all I had to say for the moment.

So I'm older and a bit wiser, a lot poorer and an early riser.
Ahhh How good is life? [/sarcasm]

Anyway, today I do what I want. >8D Not like I don't anyway but...whatevs, that's not the point.

I definitely finished up drawing the dress up game on Photoshop but I need to get all those layers on Flash and then add the little action script bit to all of them. Fun Fun Fun. IT WILL NOT DISAPPOINT! I like it anyway. Hmmm....I'm trying out a new site look for Shmooi~ Uhm...(I just found a dog hair from my sister's dog on my keyboard...o_O He doesn't even live here. Indestructible hairs.) sooo...yeah, wow. I won't be getting drunk like some people think 'cause I've had it before and it wasn't love. Sorry alcohol, it'd just never work between us. >:

Now chocolate, that's another story. Chocolate and I have lots of love. I think it's getting serious. 8D

I'll shut up now but CONGRATULATE ME, I survived till 21. That's a great feat.

4th of July, Oh my

How was your 4th of July, guys?
I had to cancel beach/lake plans because it was cloudy and rainy. D8;
I saw Wanted, Hancock and Get Smart instead so that was pretty awesome. Fireworks here are done on the 3rd but I didn't see them on either day because I find them extremely boring.

I'm not really doing much this weekend. Blah. Probably finish up on some things and that's about it. So let me know what crazy shenanigans you guys are/were up to~ 8D

Almost done with the clay stuff too! I did a coat of glaze on the platy and the doodlie. 8> Susie's skin and base are painted and I re-painted her clothes and hair. Now all I need to do is draw in her eyes and mouth, then maybe glaze her up.

After that, I'm thinking of sculpting some fantasy things. Ultra cool, no? Give me ideas! I'll see if I could sculpt them.

On a sidenote, I got a printer and a scanner. They're pretty old but still good. XP I don't want to have to ask my bro everytime I want to scan/print something. Even though he has an awesome new one. All I need to do now is figure out how to hook them up. I'm a n00b at that so if anyone has any tips or know-how that'd be awesome.

So I've been trudging through everything from digital painting, traditional painting, web design/coding, illustration and trying to get the hang of flash.

What I haven't been doing much is drawing cartoons. D8; This is a problem. Because of this, I'm having trouble getting back to Shmoozie's style. I'll get it right though, always do.

Even with all this chaos, I'm itching for art projects. I spent the morning looking through crafts...CRAFTS, like the ones for stay-at-home moms!! That's not okay, guys. Not okay. Intervention time?

I got a sub again for 3 months only, though. >:
Umm...I haven't been doing anything noteworthy lately. Although, I've been practicing painting digitally and traditionally, I don't think I've gotten too amazing. I have some lineart here too but with no scanner this is going to be a big project...D:;
Designing isn't so bad but web design/coding has left me feeling un-creative(is that even a word? ) and I'm getting ready to kick it to the curb for a few.

There's going to be a huge overhaul to my gallery, kicking out the junk into my scraps and deleting the scraps that I have no idea why I uploaded. On another note, I'm itching for collabs and new paintchats/groupboards to scribble at. With Shmooi gone, I'm missing the crazy clash of artists. >:

Actually, it's Talk Like A Pirate Day, but that's a little too long for a title.

I was going to make a comic to celebrate and whatnot but I'm sick so that's not going too well. D8 That nyquil is some potent shizzle. I should have known, after all, it tastes like black licorice. BLEH!
Lolz, I'm hot headed. My body is freezing but my head is burning. I find that hilarious. When I'm not so blah, I shall laugh...and laugh. 8D

Anyway, I'm working on two comic things. I seem to be getting better at it but my 'style' is getting a lot more varied.

So here I was mourning kurdie's account and checking out her friends list when I notice she had my imp as her friend. D: So I go to check it out and it has some of the stuff I like...and some of my artwork(Doodles but still mine). THEN, I see two other accounts that were 'friends' of my imp and they really weren't. |: They were all her....so it's weird. I don't know what to dooo Dx Should I report the accounts?

Hmph, anyways, it's November already and I'm in disbelief. I didn't get the vampy done in time but whatever, I'll finish her later. "...FINISH HIM!" Mortal Kombat popped into my head. x)

It's going by way too quickly! I'm working on so many things right now, I'm surprised I'm not on a zombie rush. 8D Here are some things I'm doing:

-Vampy pic - Fixing dress and background.

-Star Queen pic - Haven't been working on it as much as the others but it's coming along.

-Comic Page - Pfft, I have the first panel pretty well done but I can't decide on the background, need to figure out how I'm going to draw the other panels. I have the story down though.

-Pirate picture - The pirate is complete and I'm so proud of it, I just need to color the background and add a cool border.

-A little comic strip - It's not really a part of the comic but I guess it would do as a filler. I have the idea down to the t, but...it won't come out how I see it in my head. sad

-Comic wallpapers - I already have two, just need the others. I have the idea for Janine's, somewhat, but I'll be introducing more characters...

-Two photographs, one of a pretty potted plant and the other of a dead rose....it's black, I like it. :3

Mmkay, so anyways, I had to change my keyboard again. This time it's because I don't have any AA Batteries. Dx I'm using my old white one...which everyone complains about because they don't remember where the letters are. XD I of course am not affected by this but on this keyboard the hotkeys work sooo....I end up clicking the power button instead of the print screen and it pisses me off. |: Royally.

Yes, it's Halloween and yay for you. I don't celebrate it. :3 I grew up that way so uh...I don't really see it as much of a big deal. Other than that umm...<_<; I guess that's it.

The last of my teen years, I'll have to live it up....or maybe waste away at the computer...drawing some more. <_< OH WELLS!

I opened some of my cards and one of my prezzies. I got clothes. XD 'Tis very warm and soft stuff, I'd like to roll around in it.
The cards were awesome and of course my dad's was pretty exquisite, I'll have to take pictures of the cards he sends me. They're always so gorgeous...and the envelopes, wow. :3

I saw the Nightmare Before Christmas 3-D! It was awesome. I lof that movie so~ I saw the late viewing sooo I got back early mornin'...only to wake up a few hours later.

I changed the layout early! Check it out~ Shmooi It still has some quirks buuuut not anything drastic like earlier this week.
Reasons for changing it so early:

1. I won't be on much tomorrow or Saturday so I couldn't fix stuff, took hours to fix it up.

2. I was so spastically excited about it.

3.....<_< I was so spastically excited about it.

Now I have more time for the Halloween picture of the vampy...the dress isn't turning out the way I want. D:; It'll probably not even be done for Halloween unless I go on my "Superdrawingpeninadeathgripknucklescrack ingfoamingatthemouthzombie-like state". :> Whiiich...could happen sometime soon. Fear not my fanatics(Shut up, I can pretend. <_< ) Oh yuh, I still need to finish the pages for my 'already started' comic. :3

I'm FREEZING! It's not even all that cold yet but like my body just absorbs all the coldness, it's pretty insane. D: I'm all "OH MAH GAWRSH!!! *Shiver shiver*" and everyone else is all "It's not cold!! *touch* Holy crap! You're freezing! O:> *Shun*" ;_;'...You have to admit it's pretty cool though, har har har, get it? I crack myself up. :B [/lameness]

Sooo anyway, I had this whole layout ready for my b-day and then today I was all "I hate it." so I changed it!

Only thing wrong ees that it turns chaotic when viewed in IE. Damn that IE...I knew it was planning to thwart me -somehow-. D:< If only everyone used Firefox but sadly this is not the case. (You know you want it, CLICK EET!)
I'm still excited about getting it up anyhow. Huzzah~

Not planning on doing much for my birthday... Apparently the 21st is the best day to celebrate. o-0 Weddings, school dances, festivites and the like are all happening and my close ones drift away. I'll probably just catch a movie or something.

Â Â Â Â I was waiting and waiting for V5 and it's finally here! I absolutely love it, it's so spiffy!! The profiles look funky though like there's too much empty space/too much of the same color. Maybe it's just my screen. O:; *

The announcement:
Â Â Â Â Wow, just wow. That's the best announcement I've ever seen. It got me even more excited. WoO~ I want to see it again...and perhaps once more after that.

Â Â Â Â I haven't gotten the scanner I was hoping for but I got tons of animal pictures from the zoo! The ones I've already uploaded are only a few. They look pretty darn good to me, I just want to know what you guys think. ^_^

* Yes, it was just my screen. It looks weird in 800x600 because the images go vertical one after the other. Thus, it made everything stretch out!
In a higher resolution, the one I'm trying out now, it looks awesome.

I'm hoping to get a scanner, when I do, I'll be able to scan pictures I took in Puerto Rico. They look better than some pictures I take on my digital cam and they were taken with a disposable. XD;

I've been submitting left and right recently to make up for my lack of activity on here. They're not so 'wow' but then again, I don't go for the 'wow'.
