Just opened a new stock account. Little bare now, but I will beef it up soon. Don't know if I will post many human shots...but I hope to do a lot of everyday things that I know I have looked for and not found in DA. I want to be the gap-filler.

I was feeling a little tired of my avatar as I go through the pages and see so many fine examples. Decided to spruce it up today and totally rebuild it. What do you think? Nothing fancy like the animated ones, but I like what it turned out to be.

Been looking at my gallery stats. Amazing that last year I only submitted 6 pieces, and this month I have submitted 54...lol

Still, one thing that means is that there are a lot of the older pieces that I no longer feel merit gallery status, so I have moved some of my things to scraps. The better I get with my camera and manipulations, the more I realize how fuzzy and fumbling some of those first pieces were.

If you see anything you suggest get moved to scraps, let me know. I will consider all suggestions -- though I may not agree.

I've been getting close to the magic 1000 mark, so I've been watching my page hits closely. Last night when I went to bed, it was stuck at the 996 it has been all day. When I just refreshed this morning, 1051! Wow... I don't know what happened overnight, but I love it.

First of all, I didn't know that they aren't a recognized photo file until I took them to Walgreen's and was going to use their machine.

So I came home and made jpgs...which looked fine on the screen...but faded to NOTHING on the machine. Had to tweak each one to get anything like the originals so I could order prints.

Someday, I will get a GOOD printer and see if I can make my own....
