1) I CAN WATCH THE BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE REPEATEDLY AND NEVER FORGET IT. If me nearly dying in the mosh changed the hands of fate so THIS could be done, it was all worth it!! Entirely!!! *runs around in happy circles*
2) I can give you all a more thorough, real review for each song, now that I've been given the chance to see the performances I missed! : 'D *cries with joy*
3) YOU CAN SEE IT TOO and we can fangasm together!! That's a plus right? A night like this deserves to be shared!!

Watching it all again not only sparked my memory and showed me things I totally forgot (HYDE said/did a lot of things I don't even remember! O.o) but it also stirred up my feelings of excitement and amazement and love, how my heart jumped outta my chest everytime he spoke because he was actually THERE and referring to me (as well as everyone else...XD) and how I wanted to just somehow get on stage, and hug him so hard (even though we'd both be icky and sweaty and sticky.... ) for not only coming to NY but for being such an amazing performer and being so great and fun with us! X3 GOSH I LOVE HIM, I really do. <3 I think in general, seeing him live just makes you automatically fall in love with the guy! He just gives off that aura lol, like "LOVE ME, CUZ I'M HOT AND SWEATY AND YOU KNOW YOU WANT ME." But anyway, other great news is, I FOUND JIN! XD He was hiding next to a speaker in the back!! And the only songs that weren't taped were "It's Sad" and "Midnight Celebration", which is okay since I've seen those performed live twice anyway! Also, thanks to the cameras, I see HYDE did have a bit of eyeliner on and the necklace he wore in MV # 13 that I love so much! So, ON WITH MY NEW AND COMPLETE REVIEW!! (I provided links to download the performances!)

Lulz at HYDE's jumping at the beginning! XD Quite as I remember, with him growling the words out and all! Very jumpy, insane, greatness, this song is SOOO much better live!

3. Redrum [link]
Remember this well, the plus with this was I actually get to see it now lol! Although there wasn't too much stage action anyway so I don't feel so bad!! Excellent live for sure, I remember dancing to this in the mosh lol.

4. Secret In My Heart [link]
YES!!! One I wanted to see so badly that I missed! It was SO FANTASTIC, omgosh, it was wonderful, it sounds different but a lot better in this performance oh I love it! <3333 SO MUCH! AMAZING, just as it should be!! Totally beat my expectations!

5. Vampire Depression [link]
This one I didn't remember at all, so I paid close attention lol! The music was great, but HYDE seemed to have a bit of a problem holding his notes in the chrous. He cut them a lil short each time...I guess it's harder to screech a note than sing it? XDD

6. Jesus Christ [link]
Just as powerful as I remembered, leaves you sppechless! THE GOOD NEWS

In cheaper news, I have discovered Anime Cast on ebay, who sells CRAPLOADS (meaning like, HUNDREDS) of JRock stuff including CDs, DVDS, posters- for UNDER $30. NOW THAT'S WHAT THE HELL I'm talking about! I plan to get a nice lil stack of L'arc DVDs from there! (They got Theater of Kiss and heavenly films! HELL YES!!) May I also mention they're in REGION ALL? I only trust this place as my Canadian friend ordered her HYDE Faith Live 2006 DVD and 3 L'arc CDs from here, and they arrived in perfect condition and fully functional. So for those of you who want to treat yourself this Christmas without feeling you're taking advantage of your parent's money, THERE'S the place to go!

1. SO YOU LOVE L’ARC. We got that. What got you into them?
WEELL.....it all started from Moon Child actually lol! I had watched it cuz of Gackt *former massive Gackt fan, though I still like him!* and I had no idea who HYDE was at the time. When I did a bit of research, and found HYDE was also a pop star, I remember paying closer attention to when he sings a bit of "Orenji no Taiyou" toward the end of the movie. So I did and was like "Oh, he has a nice voice! : D " So then I looked up L'arc and went on iTunes and found Kiss. I didn't buy the whole album at once, I only bought My Heart Draws a Dream, Sunadokei, Spiral, Daybreak's Bell, Alone en la vida, Umibe, The Black Rose, Link and Yuki No Ashiato at first because the others sounded weird to me! XD And "My Heart Draws a Dream" was the song that really wowed me like "OMG HIS VOICE" as well as "Link" as I like it's happy beat too, so those became my favorites instantly. I actually didn't really fall in love with them until September of last year after I got Awake and Smile, but I had bought these songs in April and enjoyed them so I consider that the "mark" of when I got into them.

3. Someone has a gun to your head and forces you to say your favorite L’arc album. Which is it and why? Least favorite album? ^{They aren’t perfect, there’s gotta be something you didn’t like.}
Fav: I feel HEAVENLY!!!!!!!!!! Listening to it right now as a matter of fact. It's my favorite because I think HYDE'S voice on it is the most beautiful compared to all his other stuff. I sometimes wish he still sounded like that *ANGST* I also like that the album has a balance of both really perky cheerful songs and slower, serious sad songs.
Least fav: Real. I never got into it. I listened to whole thing like 5 times and it just didn't click with me. >.< Considering it was their 1st album of the 21st century, it could have been a lot better. The only one I REALLY love is Finale.

He may be really shy and all, but he's really sweet and he's an amazing drummer (ever seen his drum solo for L'arc's 15 Anniversary concert after Shout at The Devil?) AND he even has his own band that's pretty sweet! XD And, despite the fact that he wasn't around for L'arc's earlier years, he still plays all their old songs perfectly! So I give him lots of kudos. I do like Sakura though, really! It's just the herorin thing that holds me back!

When Hyde and Tetsu’s hair was long (like, 2 feet long XD) or short?
That long hair was epic. It saddened me that HYDE cut it for the Heavenly Tours >.< At least Tetsu kept his for a lil awhile longer.

So who knows, they might come back in a couple years, as next year they want to do this fatty ass European tour! XD So if you live in Europe, look out! : D It isn't confirmed yet, but there's a good chance of it happening since they both want to go!

AND y'all should really check out MORORAL, they're under VAMPROSE too and they're freaking awesome!! First band that deviated me from my constant HYDE-listening! XD Fun facts: the singer, Anis Shimada, is close friends with HYDE as he checks HYDE's english songs to make sure they're in correct grammer and all and he wrote "Shining Over You." In return, HYDE wrote one of MONORAL's songs "Visions In My Head." They also kissed briefly (yes, on the mouth XDD) at the Halloween Lives last year and if you have seen the VAMPS Live 2008 Documentary, you see what lead to it lol but the camera cut off when they actually kissed! UNFAIR. >:C Oh, and Anis is half-Moroccan (from Morocco, a country in North Africa across from Spain) as well as half-Japanese. Gotta tell you, one of the most interesting mixes I've heard of! Oh, and he was born in London, raised in France till 18 and speaks English, French, Arabic and Japanese fluently. And his name means "friendliness" in Arabic. XD And the bassist, Ali, is Japanese American who also speaks Japanese and English fluently. AND all their songs are sung in clear, fluent English! They've had tours in South America, China, Europe (this year), so it's only a matter of time before they come here, I hope! Today is VAMPS' last concert in L.A! (Which my amazing friend is going to, she'll be waiting in line at 8 in the morning! XD And hopefully she'll be able to get my CD signed! ) It saddens me a bit, as now after today they'll be going back to Japan :C I'm just really happy I got to see them. Even though, from the review you all know I suffered greatly (I lived off of Motrin for like THREE DAYS after the concert. DX I could barely get out of bed the next day, honest.) it's finally really settled in, and I will be ever grateful that I had the opportunity to see HYDE'S OH SO PERFECT FACE in my face lol. Well, not exactly in my face, but close! And his smile. And dancing. And hip swaying. And hair flinging, etc etc. You know, I actually really like that he doesn't get all "pretty" for VAMPS concerts because the man is so naturally beautiful it's sickening LOL. Srsly. Gosh. I want to look like him when I'm 40!! DAMN SEXY THANG.
AND I want to add that, yes, seeing them live DID IN FACT give me a new appreciation for the album. There isn't a little voice in my head anymore going "HYDE'S OTHER STUFF IS BETTER WTF IS THIS" when I listen to it lol, all the songs were a lot better live. Although, I don't place it higher or lower on my scale of amazingness and didn't neccesarily fall in love with it. But I do like it more nao, indeed.
Also, I decided to upload the tour pamplet for all of you to see!! I'm SO HAPPY TO FIND (after downloading the Japanese one) THAT OURS IS SO MUCH BETTER. FINALLY we get something better than them. My scanner does the pictures no real justice lol but you can still see how gorgeous it is! [link]

....without HYDE has been very uneventful. Vacation was uber epic fail and I was SO HAPPY to come back home!! Why is it when you're near 18 your mom starts treating you as though you're ten or so? I mean, honestly. I believe I am old enough to decide what time I want to get up, to go and take a walk around the area a few times, and decide whether I want to go into the ocean or not. I was constantly being nagged at to do what everyone else was doing, when I didn't want to do what everyone else was doing. Gosh. I have learned when your family goes with you on vacation, it's never a vacation. EVER. It's like torture that they call a vacation because you aren't home. Reminds of when we all went to Puerto Rico like seven years ago...worst vacation of my life. Wasn't Puerto Rico's fault though; TIS ALL FAMILY. Which still makes me bitter sometimes because I have a lot of classmates who have gone and seen the sights and all, like YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO DO WHEN YOU GO TO A TROPICAL ISLAND. DX Which is why, when I go around to all the places I want to go when I'm older, I'm just going to bring myself and a couple friends and that's it! (Oh btw I didn't mention I was Puerto Rican did I? XDD You can fall outta your chair in shock now!)

SO here's the moment you've all been waiting for!!! My review of VAMPS' Concert at the Fillmore New York at Irving Plaza, July 11th. HOMG. Where can I start?! I'll break it up in sections.

The Friend Fiasco
Okay, so the intial plan was to have my friends by my house at 2 and leave at 3 sharp, right? WRONG. Things happened, a particular friend of mine wasn't ready when she was supposed to be, I became furious and we ended up leaving at 3:30 instead and got at the place at 4:30. My horrid nightmares were right; we did run late! So, things didn't really start off well.

Waiting On Line
So we get there- and the line was already like a quarter around the block. There had to be at least a 100 people in front of us. We would have had to been there at noon to be in the beginning of the line, which was so not going to happen. So, there goes that idea out the window. The people first in line were basically like camping out, they were sitting on blankets and chairs and had cases of food. XDD Besides that, there were ALL types of people who showed up, young, older (35+), a lot of Japanese people (obviously lol), a lot of white people, black people, Spanish people...XDD And some girls dressed up really nice (you're going to a MOSH concert not a prom! XD), some came looking all goth (it's not a Marilyn Manson concert XD) and there were a good handful of people who had HYDE shirts on (either self-made ones, or from his HYDEIST website) and some who had the VAMPS shirts from the Japanese goods for the tour. Particularly, a shirt I loved said "I love New York and VAMPS!" It was pretty cool. And then, VAMPS' backstage crew guys came through with cameras several times to record us for documentary footage I assume, so everyone was like "WOOOO!" and waving hands and making peace signs. XDD I probably won't be shown cuz I was in the inner part of the line, but my hands are definatley in there somewhere!

Sudden Delay
Okay, so according to my ticket, the doors were supposed to open at 6 and the concert was supposed to start at 7. For whatever reason, apparently VAMPS' was running late too that day lol because instead we were moving in AT seven and the concert started at 8. It was really painstaking and we were all getting impatient. DX The place was nice but smallish I guess, and when we joined the mosh by the stage (which was also small) I started sweating already being surrounded by so many people for the half hour we waited for VAMPS. (They started cheering "VAMPS! VAMPS!") However, I was still pretty close to the stage and I could see the stage quite clearly if I stood on tiptoe. Besides that, I have to say the pre-show music was ENTIRELY too loud for a small place so my ears were already blown out. DX But anyway, I was in a position to still see, so I thought I would be okay!! WRONG AGAIN.

Near Death Experience in the Mosh
So, FINALLY, VAMPS came out, and I saw HYDE through some gap through people's heads lol, and to my right through another gap I saw K.A.Z and was freaking out yelling out "I CAN SEE HIM! I CAN SEE HIM! " So, they started, blaringly (srsly I think I was deaf for like 10 minutes) with "Sex Blood Rock n Roll" and I enjoyed the mosh for exactly 2 minutes before I was out of breath completley. For whatever reason, no one could stay still, so you would be shoved to the right, then back, then crushed to the front and I got really squished where I couldn't breathe, and I couldn't catch my breath, so I couldn't sing along or anything, we were all covered in sweat, there was no air and then people were pushing and elbowing you (like they're going to go anywhere -_- ), I got poked and hit in several places, some idiots were being carried around on top and hit me, and oddly the closer we got to the stage the less my view of HYDE got and I was stuck in this death trap for like about half an hour. My neck hurt from trying to look up to see and I was seriously regretting it, I almost wanted to cry because this would be my only chance to see VAMPS and currently at that time I wasn't enjoying myself at all. Good news, VAMPS ARE ALREADY IN NEW YORK!!! They landed this morning I'm assuming. I have NO IDEA where they're staying (they probably didn't disclose it so crazy fans won't be waiting in the lobby for them to show up lol) but it makes me jittery knowing they're kinda close now. XDD Homg. I wonder what they're doing?
Also, I finished making all arrangements for the concert, so I'll be there three hours early as planned! And my Mom's giving me $200 to blow on goods, so I'm pretty happy about that. Also got my outfit and everything all ready to go. (I never told you guys I have a HYDE shirt did I? It's a fanmade one from cafepress.com HYDE probably doesn't even know it exists lol!! If I'm in the front, he might see it )
So yeah. With everything set, the anixiety of seeing THE BEST PERSON IN THE ENTIRE WORLD WHO I LOVE DEARLY is really settling in. DX I've always acted really oddly to situations where most people are really happy or excited about, instead of being excited, I get really quiet and apprehensive, like now. I have so many thoughts going through my head I don't even know what to do with myself. I couldn't even finish watching L'arc's 15th Anniversary concert cuz I kept spacing out. The words "YOU ARE GOING TO SEE VAMPS" are like imprinted on my brain and won't go away!! IT'S INSANE. I suppose it's because HYDE is much more than an artist or a sexy guy to fangasm over to me; he's an inspiration. And more truly amazing than ANY arist in the world and he's such a wonderful person, and knowing that'll I will be able to WITNESS his greatness is indescribable. It's like, seeing Jesus for me LOL which technically doesn't apply to me because I'm an atheist but you get the point. I look up to him so much and he gives me something to look forward to everyday, and his music has helped me in so many ways that I feel I owe him a lot. He's just....just...HYDE. LULZ. For, no word can actually really describe him. GOSH I'm so hating on his wife right now, lol!!
So, I'm going to be an emotional wreck until the concert begins lol I know it!!! Wish me luck guys, that I'll survive! This is SUCH a huge deal for me.
And to think, this isn't even L'arc~en~Ciel, who I love so much more!! I'd probably be having heart failure if I knew I was going to see them!
Speaking of that, I don't we'll truly hear anything from L'arc until 2011, because my friend told me VAMPS are doing another tour next year. Which atonished me, truly. I really wanted HYDE to relax for awhile, I mean he went through a LOT this year with all the VAMPS stuff. I figured he wanted a break but...guess not! 1. Bite: WIN
Yes, I know, how can a 25 second intro be a WIN? Simple: It fit in with the supposed “vampire” theme of the album and it synced PERFECTLY with Love Addict that follows after it. And it wasn’t like other intros that are long and annoying; it was short and sweet. End. XD

2. Love Addict: EPIC WIN
I don’t think I need to explain this one. It’s jumpy, totally rock-out worthy, sexy and really the best song VAMPS could have used to start out their reputation (since this was their 1st single.) ‘Nuff said. Only retarded thing about it was the “We starve like cherries” line, but it made me laugh so this song still gets mega kudos. XDD

3. Cosmos: EPIC WIN
This song I loved instantly, it’s a nice, more mellow follow up to Love Addict and HYDE’s voice is fantastic and the music is such love. <3 I really adore it, one of my favorites. X3

4. Secret In My Heart: EPIC WIN
HOMG SO AMAZING. This song too I fell in love with immediately. The English lyrics that I understand (since this is a mix of Japanese and English) are excellent, it really, to me, seems like the thoughts a vampire would have. HYDE’s vocals are wonderful, when vocals are concerned, this is only 2nd to Evanescent. He really got into the dark, emotional mood of the song with this and it’s just totally phenomenal. Can’t wait to see this live.

HOLY CRAP CD JAPAN ROCKS. THEY SEND YOU STUFF BEFORE IT'S OFFICIALLY RELEASED. HOW AWESOME IS THAT??! THAT MEANS I GET TO HEAR VAMPS BEFORE ALL OF YOU!! HAHA!!
AND THE CD IS SO COOL. MEANING THE CD CASE. I mean, I couldn't possibly expect a NORMAL CD case from VAMPS could I? Instead of the being the normal plastic case with the imprint for the CD and a little booklet with lyrics that comes out, they made it like a lil book, with the front and back made like hard book covers and the CD/DVD tucked into pockets within them. Then when you open it, it has an index (list of all the songs lol) and as you look through it, besides having all the lyrics for all the songs, there's also pictures and on each one is a random line that make up a short story about VAMPS:
".....He bit me 3 days ago and I feel just great. I don't know why but I can't put on make-up anymore...They said they started making music in the 20th century. When the night falls, they play, they d.r.i.n.k, and then in the morning they sleep. They love garlic and even crosses and they aren't afraid of anything...Nothing's like in the movies! Lol. Get it? It's from the point of view of this blonde chick in the booklet. XDD
So yeah. The CD is almost done (I threw it in my DVD player immediatley, as I don't have anything else to play CDs on lol) and well...it's too soon to say anything definite about it yet. But I will say it's VERY interesting and...surprising. It wasn't what I expected AT ALL and Hyde really went off the charts with it lol!! Especially with the rocker-screaming thing he pulls off in a few songs. It'll take me awhile to get used to, that's for sure! And the poster is small and not the best picture of VAMPS ever, but it's cute and I put it up! Anyway, I'll give a more detailed review of the album over the weekend after I've listened to it a few more times.

Okay so I just finished watching L'arc's latest DVD release, "Live In Paris" which I was able to download as some beautiful person out there ripped it from their DVD. BUT ANYWAY I feel the need to rant about it because it was unlike any L'arc concert I'd ever seen! It was WONDERFUL! And well, to be honest, though I got all psyched to find out VAMPS is going to have their own TV commercial for their tour here in the US (I spazzed really, my excitement over the concert is like on FULL SPEED mode now that I got my dad to take me ), I kinda needed a break from them lol and thought what better way than watch L'arc's Paris concert? So, here's my "review" of it lol.
Well first off I NEED to talk about the fans. This is totally the BEST crowd I've seen for L'arc, and I've seen like five of their concerts. The French definatley know how to welcome new artists, or it's just that they love L'arc that much lol. But moving on, they were simply amazing because there were people of ALL ages there, a lot of guys (more than usual at a L'arc concert XDD) and all races and it was wonderful how they all just bonded together and jumped and sang and danced along with EVERY song. And everytime there was an intermission, they would start cheering "L'ARC- EN- CIEL! LARC- EN- CIEL!" It was really great to see (and pretty hilarious too, there's a shot of two teenage guys jumping along with "Caress of Venus" and grinning at the camera, and the camera guy also got these two guys who looked like they were like 35 with receding hairlines bobbing and jumping around LOL it was amazing though. ) such diversity, cuz normally L'arc concerts are just full of hyper screaming Japanese chicks. Which is expected, but seeing like, GROWN men and woman dancing to L'arc was pretty interesting to see! I'm sure to L'arc it must have been a relief. And also, the fans made big signs with things like "WELCOME TO FRANCE" on it (this guy holding one had on one of those rainbow clown afros on LMAO I think he took the rainbow thing too far ) and "THANK YOU FOR COMING" and such and I thought that was really sweet too. And when I tell you everyone was dancing, I MEAN it. It was how a L'arc concert always should be. It was so great and I'm sure it meant a lot to them because it does to me and I'm not even in the band! XDD France gave them the biggest welcome I think they've ever gotten and if I were L'Arc, I'd go back! They've got real fans there! And to explain my title, there were two girls in nothing but their bras on the ground floor (with pants on LOL). I freaked out because I wouldn't think that'd be allowed but apparantly so. I mean, it is PARIS after all. I wonder if HYDE saw them? He'll come back from Japan and be like "DUDE THESE CHICKS TOTALLY TOOK THEIR SHIRTS OFF FOR ME IT WAS AWESOME. : D I'M SO GOING BACK." His wife would totally beat him up if he said something like that. XDD
Then besides the fans, here are other tidbits:
- I can honestly say EVERY song performed was like, perfect. HYDE, if possible, has gotten MORE amazing than he already is. His voice was just so...so...PERFECT. It was outta this world lol, he sounded so fantastic with everything and really really beautiful with the slow songs (OMG Kasou, My Dear and Forbidden Lover were like, gorgeous. ) Only thing I can complain about is that he can't really hold long notes without them sounding scratchy at first. Well actually the only reason I put up a journal is because I have a kinda important annoucement lol: I have a 3-day weekend, so figure today I'd do some cleaning up, not only my room but my laptop too. (I consider laptop cleaning deleting anything on it I'm not using or don't want, etc.) And the thought occured to me to "clean" through my DA account. And I decided that I was going to get rid of any walls I didn't like anymore or weren't as nice as my current stuff. I ended up deleting a LOT of stuff, mainly my old Final Fantasy walls. I think I kept only like....seven? Out of the 7429875 of them I had previously made. Mainly, I did it because it's something that is behind me now and I don't consider it part of me anymore. I've MOVED on from being in love with computer stimulated characters. Now I love non-stimulated Japanese human beings. WHICH IS WONDERFUL. Not that FF doesn't have a place in my heart, it always will. But I've learned there are better things in life. Finally XDD So, DON'T panic when you notice some of my walls aren't your favs anymore. They didn't run away, I just gave them the boot. THERE'S NEW PRETTY BOYS IN TOWN FOR ME TO MAKE WALLS WITH >: D

In other news:
School : BUSY BUSY BUSY. I've had piles of homework and lots of tests to take. This week I got my Anatomy AP Exam out the way (twas easy! ) and my CNA (Certified Nursing Assitant) test, I passed that too (REAALY easy) as well as everyone else in my Medical Arts class, so we all have our certification! :triumph: And I went to Ellis Island Tuesday, it was BEAUTIFUL! Ferry = FTW. It was awesome. Besides the work, school's been enjoyable. Friends are awesome too.
Life : Better, I'm pretty much my normal cheery self, I've just been DREADFULLY tired. :sleeping: Even today I am....dunno. Mom has her on and off days, but definatley not as annoying as she was. So all's good I'd say.
Music : I FINALLY bought VAMPS' "EVANESCENT" Single (iTunes is SUCH a bitch, it releases VAMPS' singles like a week AFTER it's officially released DX) and Evanescent already had like 100 counts since they released the PV 3 weeks before the single, and I INSTANTLY fell in love with it, it struck a chord in me that no song has done before. :happy: You can watch the PV here: [link] I honestly think it's my favorite song not only of VAMPS, but ever. VAMPS is having a ten city tour here in the US and made their tickets only $30 each giving everyone an opportunity to see them. I had to go through a lot to convince my mom to let me go (the day of the concert is the day I leave for vacation and she didn't want to leave me alone by myself) but she's arranging for my dad to drive me to Long Beach Island (place of vacation). SO I'LL ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO SEE HYDE, MY FAVORITE PERSON IN THE WORLD, IN CONCERT. *DIES* It's a freaking dream come true. I'm also going with my two best friends as well!!
~ This winter was one of the worst. Not only because of the weather, but I think I had that seasonal depression thing, I would feel crummy consistently for no reason for weeks. Since last week though, it stopped and I'm back to my normal bouncy self. I'm also getting along with my mom again, who was becoming a really big annoyance during the winter too. DX I think she's getting paranoid because I only have one more year at home before I go to college.
~ School's been good, only I did a bit worse this marking period so I'm not really excited about getting my report card. XDD I don't have any C's or anything, but I didn't do as well as normal and not what my mom would expect. I think it's most likely due to my depression thing, I really didn't feel like doing my homework or going over notes for tests either, so yeah.
~ The journal I've been writing in is nearly full!! I can't believe it, considering I've never been able to keep a journal before! XD It's helped a lot actually with my moods, so I'm glad I decided to keep one.
.....I think that's about it. XDD There are a lot of walls I need to make, but since I'll be spending most of my vacation time at my aunt's house, I don't think I'll have to finish as many of them as I'd want to. Also I want to make shoutouts to my two new friends pumpkin~sushi and TruLarukuBlue , who besides being Hyde fans like myself, are both amazing and awesome people who've I've been communicating steadily with for a couple months now and always make me smile! ONLY ONE YEAR OF MY TEENAGE LIFE LEFT. ARGH. X.x I am like the girl version of Peter Pan. From what I know, I'll be going to the movies (for the first time in liek...EVER. I think the last thing I saw in the theater was Sweeny Todd. ) and dinner, something simple. I got plenty of stuffs for Christmas so I REALLY don't need anything. I won't even let my mom buy me a card lol. Christmas, besides opening gifts, was alright...I was tired that day so I didn't really enjoy myself much...I pretty much sat somewhere and watched Tinkerbell and Kung Fu Panda, then took a nap. XDD And New Years, my family never really does a lot lol, so it was a normal day for me really. Besides making that Hyde wall, I watched "Just, Loving You" or Heavenly Forest, as it's also known, a Japanese love-triangle movie, which I liked very much, considering I hate lovey-dovey movies. The plot was excellent, although it had a sad ending, it was still awesome, so ARIGATOU Porcelain Kitty! (I didn't cry btw. I have the emotional tendencies of a rock. I also kinda figured out she had the disease and would die so it wasn't such a huge surprise. )
IN OTHER NEWS as well as my birthday, Hyde's bday is the 29th (I had a stupid fangasm over us having our birthdays in the same month ) and he's turning 40! Yes I know: WTF HE LOOKS LIKE HE'S 25 SGHJHJWQJKLA. I actually found the perfect Hyde avatar for this situation that said: My fandom refuses to look his age. Everytime I say he's going to be 40 that's what I get as a response, lol, but YES he is, even though he doesn't look like it, (even without make up), SO I plan to make a wally for him for his bday and all. I wish I could send him a card and a big box of chocolate or something. Oh, and I'd also like to add that I NOW HAS A HYDE SHIRT. YES I DO. IT CAME YESTERDAY. AND IT'S SEXY. It's the only thing I found on the internet with him on it, so OF COURSE I totally bought it. I think I'll wear it on his birthday in honor of him. If I could bake, I'd make a cake for him too! So, if you were recieving comments from me often and I suddenly stopped...you know why. Also, I will continue to make walls when I have the need to, but they probably won't be FF related. XDD Overall, I won't be as active here as I used to, so just want to thank all of you who have supported me, favorite my stuff, etc., it will always mean a lot to me!

That glorious A in English made my entire week, as that's my hardest and busiest class this year. And I also made Principal's Honor Roll and my GPA is 4.2. BOO YA.

XD) sweet sixteen last Saturday. It was SUPPOSED to be a Masquerade ball, so I went and rented this dress and went like this: [link] Everyone totally LOVED it, and told me I looked hot, lol, the only problem was I was like the only one besides my other aquantience Amanda who came dressed like that! All of the other girls came with beautiful, short prom-like dresses on, so I felt kinda silly. But everyone really liked it, so it wasn't too bad. Also, a lot of people I don't see anymore were there, so it was really nice to get to talk to them and laugh and all. AND the big thing was, my buddy that night, Christina, she dragged me to dance cuz she loves dancing [link] (she's not that tall btw, she had on like 3 inch heels XDD) and I danced, as well as everyone else, for like an entire hour and half! I even got sweaty! I've never done that before, since usually I'm too shy to dance in front of people, but I did, and I felt somehow accomplished. I really had a lot of fun, it was the first actual party I've been too in my teenage life lol, so not only do I have a new outlook on parties, but I crossed over a line I thought I never would: dancing in front of people and having fun!
NEXT I've been excited for a couple weeks now because I would be trick-or-tricking with my cousins by my cousin's apartment in her town, which is nicer and richer than ours lolz. So, since we rented the renaissance dress (cost $75 to rent!) and had to give it back, I decided to be a Japanese geisha this Halloween which you can see here: [link] and here: [link] . ISN'T IT AWESOME?! Anyway, I went around with my younger cousin PJ (that's his nickname- his real name is Rafeal Pagan Jr., after my uncle, then it shortened to Pagan Jr, and then to PJ. XDDD) AND IT WAS AMAZING. I felt like I was 8 years old again!! I hadn't been trick-or-treating in 3 years, so it was a huge deal to me. XDD Everyone was really nice, I got a lot of compliments on my costume, AND most importantly: A BUTTLOAD OF CANDY. My bag was completly full within two hours of walking around!! Which is how Halloween SHOULD be: I remember in the 8th grade when I went trick-or-treating in my cheap neighborhood, I didn't have even a quarter of my bag full and we were out the same amount of time as this time and I came home really upset. But this Halloween put my faith back into trick-or-treating and into the sprit indeed! We walked till our feet hurt and then hung out at my uncle's house with donuts and hot chocolate and watching Jason moives. Totally awesome. All I can say is, although September isn't done yet, I've felt like I've been through several months of school with ALL the work I've been doing!! My major areas of study have been English (had this MAJOR oral presentation to do!) and Anatomy and Physiology 1. English though was really killing me, but it was worth it in the end because after I did my presentation on Friday, my teacher said she felt like she was a student and I was a profesor teaching her! She had nothing to complain about! So I was extremely relieved and pleased with myself. But anyway, besides English, I've been doing really well in all my classes. All of the tests I've taken so far, I've gotten A's, and I do well on my quizzes and projects too. So, I suppose all my stress and constantly doing work pays off after all! XD
Besides school, what has kept me sane, is listening to L'Arc-en-Ciel, who is an EXCELLENT amazing Japanese rock band that I HIGHLY recommend you get into! I have four of their albums right now, I have videos of them, just downloaded a concert and have up pictures of them in my room! I owe them a huge thanks for keeping me happy and alive in a way, lol.
Also, their lead singer, Hyde, has also kept me sane with his own solo CDs which are ALSO really amazing. His voice is comparable to Gackt's, honestly. And he's an awesome rock star, lol, I love him not only because he's gorgeous (GAH he's married with a son, AND 39 years old! He should NOT be allowed to look so hot! ) but in almost every performance he dances around all over the place and it's pretty amusing to watch. Although, unlike Gackt who just kinda bounces to music, Hyde has some rhythm. He should SO be on Dancing With The Stars. XD He's such, such an amazing person. I wish I could hug him right now. Which I can, because I just found out yesterday he's only 5'2! LOLOLOLOL. So he's just an inch taller than me, because I also found out I'm 5'1 instead of 5'3. Mind you, being 5'1 at my school, I feel SO TALL. 70% of the Hispanic girls at school are SHORTER than me!! Hyde would fit into my school perfectly!
Anyway, besides my fangasms, I myself am well. I've been invited a Masquerade Ball Sweet Sixteen, so I have to go buy a medival-type dress and mask and stuff XDD and right after that, I'll have my other friend's sweet sixteen to go to! I think I've earned my right to party, lol!
So, yeah, I miss all of you, hope you're all well, I do have an entire week off in November, so it is probably at THAT time, I'll be able to bother you all and see how you're doing! I love joo guys!! Oh, and for my second wife, and Kei, I HAVEN'T boycotted your stories or anything, I just haven't had time to read them! I FINISHED CRISIS CORE!!!
AND FINISHED MEANING COMPLETELY FINISHED! Meaning:
- I did ALLL my missions all THREE HUNDRED of them!! Including the hardest one, which is fighting Minerva (The Goddess that Genesis is always blabbing about) who has TEN MILLION HP. I kid you not. AND I KICKED HER ASS!! :ninjafight:
- Got to Level 99!
- Achieved the highest amount of damage possible in the game: 99,999 HP
- Raised my VIT and SPR (Defense and Magic Defense, lol) to 255 the MAX.
- My ATK stat is 216 and my MAG 215
- Probably the best accessories you could get: Protect Ring, Super Ribbon, Zierich and Divine Slayer (which you get from beating Minerva).
- Filled my DMW.
Think that's it!! I'M SO PROUD OF MYSELF!!! Aren't I a dedicated gamer? XDD
ANYWAY what do you all care? XDD I'm going to give all of you, especially for you guys that don't have the game yet, my special review! LET US BEGIN.

~*~*~*~* LEXY'S ULTIMATE CRISIS CORE REVIEW *~*~*~~

Overall rating : Out of 10....a definite NINE. 9.5 even. But I can't say ten lol, I don't think any game can be that perfect!

Best Aspects: The battle system (I really REAALLY loved it ), the graphics (well, DUH ) the MUSIC ( Best. Soundtrack. EVER. ) the missions, and most of the storyline.

Worst Aspects: the voices, (EXCEPT Cloud and Tseng, Zack and Genesis are tolerable) the translations, inability to skip cutscenes, not being able to buy equipment like swords, armor, etc, and short storyline.

Battle System : I think ALL FF games should have the battle system Crisis Core had. Being able to run around and dodge/block/roll is a LOT more fun than standing in one place only pressing the X button in the command window. It was just a lot of fun, after the first few times in battle you get used to it, and get better at going through the menu bar. This battle system is one that made use of the entire console; not just the X button. They should really use this system instead of the horrible one in FFXII. Ugh.
Overall Rating: 10 out of 10.

Storyline : This is always a big issue because the FFVII fans who played the original game never seem to be satisfied with any of the sequels/prequels. Their mind set is "FFVII IS THE BESTEST GAME EVER AND EVERYTHING ELSE SUCKS." Which not only is stupid, but misleading. I haven't played FFVII and probably never will (I refuse to blow $600 on a PS3 for one game. FIRST OFF, Zack starts out at SIXTEEN years old.

The first thought I had after reading this was "YAY IT'S NOT RAPE ANYMORE!" (LOL meaning his romantic relationship with Cloud )

Cloud is FIFTEEN, a year older than I previously thought, so I was like, "Oh, Zack is only a year older then!"

BUT THEN the guide proves that Zack died when he was 23. Which I knew. And it also says Cloud is 21 at that time. And if you count 16-23, 15-21 it's seven years, so I was like, oh okay that makes sense since CC is supposed to be 7 seven years before FFVII.

AND you have to remember that our dearest heros were shut up in mako tubes for four years thanks to the O WONDEROUS Shin-Ra Company.

So then I discovered/hypothesized two things: THREE YEARS go by as you play the 3/4 portion of game, regardless of how short this seems.

And Zack is TWO years older than Cloud, because if Cloud is 15 when you meet him, which isn't until Chapter Six, a couple years probably went by and Zack could be 17 when they meet. That would make the two year gap (Zack being 23, Cloud being 21 at the same time) reasonable. Right?!

Yeah, only a die hard Crisis Core fan like me would spend half an hour trying to figure this all out.

And Aerith is also 16 when you meet her, she's 22 when Zack was 23 so she's year younger.

And Seph, Geny and Angie are all around 25. Odd isn't it? XD

And Cissnei is ONLY sixteen!!! She looks way older if you ask me! AND SHE LOVES ZACK, the guide says so!! It says:
"Cissnei enjoys the attention given to her by Zack, and for the first time in her life, she lets down her guard, and allows emotion to have a say in her actions. Ciisnei is secretly jealous of the attention Zack pays Aerith and has strong feelings for him."

Aww, isn't it cute? I KNEW SHE LIKED HIM!! Well who doesn't really? Also explains why she wore that really kinda revealing bikini when they were at the beach. Poor Cissnei, she's worthy of Zack. Not that Aerith isn't, but Cissnei is Aerith with BADASSITY and no dumb blonde moments.

DAMN YOU ZACK YOU SON OF A BITCH YOU MAKE EVERYBODY LOVE YOU AND THEN YOU ONLY CHOOSE ONE! DON'T YOU SEE HOW YOU CHARM EVERYBODY AND MAKE THEM WANT YOUR BABIES? EVEN THE SOLDIERS? AND THE GUARDS? ANNND THE RESEARCHERS?

Yeah everybody effin loves you in this game. 'Cept there's a few bastards who don't like you cuz you're in SOLDIER and act very bastardly to you.

But you know why Zack kicks more ass than he already does?

CUZ HE TELLS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM BITCHES OFF!!!

One of his funniest, awesome comebacks he said to a scientist who called SOLDIERs puppets of the Science Department and that they don't contribute to anything:
"We go around the world protecting Midgar, we fight to protect YOU! That's contributing a lot more than sitting at a desk like a geek and doing paperwork at day!"

And Zack is SUCH a retarded dork!! They really masacred the original script, but Zack's new lines made me laugh so it's all good!! I'm slowly getting accustomed to his voice as well
Some examples:
- Instead of saying "Yokai!" in the intro when he jumps off the helicopter he says, "OH YEAH!"
- Instead of "My hand nearly slipped there" when hes getting shot at and nearly falls, he says "Hello to you too!"
- Instead of "Irrashimase!" he says "COME AND GET IT!"
It's pretty funny. They really brought out his show-offy confidence and he's really silly. So I'm thankful they didn't make him look like a COMPLETE dumbass.

AND I CAN NEVER ACCEPT ANGEAL'S VOICE. EVER!! IT EPIC FAILS!!!

And fighting is FUN I really love the battle system!
Pros of battle sytem:
- You can run around!
- You target who's ever next to you first
- You execute attacks/magic quickly
- Magic is actually USEFUL in this game, it does pretty decent damage!! Even more than physical attacks sometimes.
- You can dodge and block attacks using the square and O buttons.
- When you have low HP a WARNING sign in yellow shows up to warn ya!!

Cons:
- You know how the command windows are usually vertical? Well this one is horizontal, and each command is a little icon, and you use the L and R buttons to move across, which is kinda of less convinent than using the up and down arrow keys. Items is also placed at the end so if yr like DYING you better move yr fingers fast or you'll die!! I died twice already!!

Oh and guess what else? You know how USUALLY you gain a level by getting a certain amount of experience points?

NOT IN CRISIS CORE!!

You get a level up by getting three sevens in a row with the same picture in the slot machine thing!! It may sound hard, but it's actually easier because you don't have to spend HOURS leveling up with weak enemies. All you need is a healthy batch of random battles and it'll pop up!!

SO YES. IT ROCKS!! And its only $40!! (Well $36 for me cuz I has Best Buy rewards)

SO BUY IT!! IT'LL BE WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!

Okay okay, now I have seen all the Crisis Core cutscenes already, in Japanese with subs. So I am ACCUSTOMED to their Japanese voices, I LOOOOOVE their voices, each voice suits each character perfectly and I give those voice actors a huge round of applause.

But seriously, I think I'd rather watch Advent Children in English than play this game (I'd take Kadaj's gay voice over Zack's anyday. At least Kadaj's voice is FUNNY. ) Not that I won't play it anyway but WHY DO THEY ALWAYS FUCK UP THE ENGLISH VOICES?! Do the Japanese hate the English language or something to torture us all?! WHHHY?!? It is times like these I wish I knew Japanese fluenty.
