Ok, for Malaysians going to DaiCon in Cyberjaya!

Date: 11th and 12th of July 2009
Time: 10am to 7pm
Venue: Grand Hall, Multimedia University, Cyberjaya Campus.

I'm taking pre-bookings of commissions for Daicon, so when you come to the booth (just tell them you're looking for Iwashi), you can take it straight away & this solves the problem of "do you have any references for the character with you"? since i can look for the references beforehand (or you can send it to me) (and generally if i take my time the drawings look nicer)

I generally charge RM 7, but it's based on complexity too.

How have you all been? Provided that anyone's reading this, that is. ;

I've been reflecting about events that have happened since i first opened this account (back in 2004 I think). I was a student worried about the possibilities of entering a good University.

Then suddenly I was a university student. Then I graduated. Then suddenly here I am, working a regular day-to-day work, working a way to get out of what Robert Kiyosaki calls "the Rat Race". It'll be a long journey, but I'm trying my best

And suddenly I'm in a Malaysian doujinshi group, and i have met many2 DA members from Malaysia in real life (you could say I'm very happy in my new account ~iwashi-kun )

Things change so quickly in 4 years. And my mindset has changed so greatly too. I used to abhor shounen ai more than anything now I enjoy it lawl in fact i draw stuff like that myself (bad bad rinoa18) I guess that's what growing up means? >_> All of a sudden, you're a young adult. O_O It's so scary.

And now doing more original art than when i was active in this account, which is still getting favs and comments although I thought I've deleted my scraps, but i seem to have left some stuff like the "Date with Tifa" and the "Tutorial for PakuPaku" Wow. I used to do that many fanarts Of course I still do FF & anime fanarts, haha.

Although I don't really know what I'll use this account for in the future, maybe for photography or whatever type of art i wanna separate from my other account, I really hope to maintain friendships with my old friends from this account although as little as they may seem

Oh, I've started writing about my experience in Italy from the start, if any one of you're interested, go see it here. [link] I've post some pictures, too, but i think you'd only be able to see the thumbnails, which are sufficiently big anyway.

So, any suggestions? Let's make it catchy and easy! Just giving my watchers (if there are any) a chance to think of a name, so at least maybe i could see a pattern how we evaluate a name as "easy" or "hard". I should be able to submit something soon.

I cant believe i never blogged anything about KH2 Final Mix, or the upcoming FF games like i used to do! Hmm was i that busy?

Ah well. As all of you might have noticed, most of my watchers dont really watch me anymore. But it doesnt matter much, cause i never really liked replying with a mundane "thank you" message anyway, haha. And some people just watch me just to see the continuation of the "Showdown of Fate". And not what i actually draw. Sadly, i dont have much heart to continue drawing it since how many months ago. If i drew my own original art, i doubt anyone here would go and see it, what more approve of it.

I want to get serious in the art business soon, so i'll be opening a new account and most likely leaving this one. Maybe I'll delete the deviations i've put here. I'll use a different name, of course. I'll only note those (to inform them of what account i'll be using) who really watche-d me, and those who i really watch, and of course, my fellow DA friends. If you still want to really watch me, please note me, and I'll add you as well, so i can really know who's really watching me I'll be checking the messages in this account every now and then.

I'm not sure if i'll put any of my old artworks there or not. I have a reason to have a name change, too, if i were to join any competitions or clubs to promote my art, there are too many "Rinoa18"s out there, right? I'm probably gonna submit art to other art sites as well.

Im gonna make art for sell too, but its very difficult for a person like me to get a Paypal account, but i'm definitely gonna do something about it. I'll be entering the working world soon, and i never want to lose the heart to create art, like most have done because of various reasons.

Did I sound too serious? hehehe. Don't worry. In real life I'm the total opposite.

It was very chaotic cause there were a lot of participants and they were running like crazy and there are panics of the Ceri falling and everything. I didn't watch it till the finish cause it finishes like, after 8pm and we need to take the bus back, and there are a lot of drunkards at night (i cant stand alchoholic drinks and their smell) The view from the cable car going uphill where the race ends is very breathtaking but if youre afraid of heights better have a friend with you. Or better tak naik pun O_O; I took lotsa piccies.

Ah there are so many dogs here..and their..how shall we say...as fezes.. Apparently i've got my new roomate addicted to gaming as well. hehehe We're going to Rome next week to meet our lecturer who's been longing to meet us since last month.

People here like to look at us in a very weird way...i found it very odd cause we're not the only ones wearing tudung (the veil we wear over the head), there are Muslims from all over the world. I found that it was very stressful cause they stare at us one, two, three times. But we found that we're dearly loved by grandmas here hehe. We cook weird pasta every day but those are the only things we could actually eat. Better not go to Umbria if you want to avoid prosciutti (pork) like the plague...they're everywhere in Umbria!

Umm..I've been drawing some drafts for ff7 fanarts. But i havent time to finish them yet. Oh, i gotta go, till next time!

I'm in Italy now, in Perugia. I'm more or less settled here for the time being, though, being a Muslim, you really have to know where to go and buy halal food to cook and eat.. it's always great to have friends to help you ^_^

It's very beautiful here, since i arrived in Primavera (spring). At first i was freezing to death especially at night, and it was raining every evening, so me and my friend Dija fell sick. But at least my runny nose wasn't so runny cause the mucus froze straight away. hahaha forget i said that >_> the keyboard here is weird, still getting used to it..

It was a 12 hour flight to Amsterdam (transit to Fiumicino, Roma, which was another 2 hours) i hardly slept. after 6 hours i had a slight panic attack while everyone was sleeping. Then the steward gave me and some people who couldn't sleep ice cream. I was thinking, "it's freezing in here, and you still give us ice cream? Are you mad or something?" but i ate the ice cream and froze (hahaha) i needed to use the loo so badly but i didn't have the heart to wake up the guy who's sitting at the seat towards the end, who's sleeping so soundly. so i held it all up for the next 4 hours (cause i think i fell asleep or maybe fainted because i was too tired)

I was checked full-body for 4 times i think because the bloody sensors bleeped on me i think, because of the 5 malaysian cents in my pocket..*bleep* <_<; and my bag was overweight. whoopie O_O Well, at least i can show off to people that i threw my clothes in Italy..

we went on a bus that went near to the university zone but not close enough apparently, so we had to drag our heavy luggages UP the STAIRS in the Archeological Museum leading to the universita per stranieri. Ah... that's one nightmare i'll never forget. Again, it's always great to have friends. @.@ We reached the Ostello Per Gioventu (youth hostel) and, uh, fainted for the night. We got one of our first culture shocks in the toilet, cause they didnt have locks and no curtains to cover the "cube" in which we bath, and we had to bath quickly cause the lights are only turned on as long as it senses people in the toilet. And not when you bath.

Thought I'd drop by just in case I'd have difficulty logging in here by the time I get to Italy. But it's not like anyone actually comes here anymore, haha. But I'll have to show up once in a while or everyone 'll think i'm no longer in existence..

Tomorrow my final exams will start. 8.30 am at the coldest place on earth- the Dewan Tunku Chanselor hall. If I pass the major papers this time, I'm aaaaalll clear for graduation this September. Wish me luck! Boy, 3 years sure pass by real fast. I'm really sad to leave the university so soon. Though you'd really get tired of all those assignments, haha (and those are the real reasons for me not to update for oh-so-long a time)

If all goes well, I'll be working for my lecturer for 6 months as her assistant researcher after i graduate. So in the meantime I'll have to be on the lookout on available jobs.. What's a fresh graduate to do? haha

Let's hope I'll have more time to update after this! I think I'll be drawing a whole bunch of pictures in Italy. I heard Comic Fiesta is going big this year with ASTRO as one of the sponsors..though it's not confirmed yet. I wanna join the activities this year! I only hope I'd make it... I still have so much to learn!

I've only been wearing glasses since 2 semesters ago and already i need new glasses..*sigh*.

Speaking of Art theives, me and came across a DA member's page in which she posted works by Akira Hayase. She stole them of course. Terrible ne? How would you feel if your works were stolen? Art is created through hard work and love in doing it--it's not so easy. What is 'stealing art' you say? it's when one takes someone else's works of art and then claiming it as one's own. So don't steal art ne? Create your own, it'll be exciting!

If you're wondering why i havent posted anything, it's cause I'm working on my submissions for the CC alliance..they're not completed yet but they look okay to say the least. I need to draw 3 more pages...ganbarii... My holidays will soon be over and the new semester will start. This time I'm taking less classes so let's hope I'll be less busy than the last semester so i can actually update!

Did I tell you guys im learning how to drive? I don't really like driving, but if i don't learn now, i probably never will All my friends have passed their driving tests years ago.. TT_TT;;; But it's kinda exciting too. Oh I'm sorry. I couldn't sleep at all last night after studying. I guess it was because i ate mildly spicy tuna sandwich, bananas and...cornflakes+full cream milk+banana & Nescafe coffee (mild). If you're wondering why my dinner sounds like breakfast, well...all i could say is that daylight makes me sleepy and I revive at night, when the full moon starts talking to the werewolf! Children of the night, I am! nyahahahaaaa

Ne! Yesterday me and my nee-chan was experimenting with sandwich flavours. The results:

Tuna (mildly spicy)+ a packet of KFC's Thousand Island sauce (from KFC's Garden Salad= Yummy! but interesting...

Hiya all. yeah yeah I know, i promised you all updates last month, but don't worry, this time it's for real. (You'd understand if you have 4 manga projects on your table at a time, and if you don't, ask ~HimeTytan ) I'll be updating in a few days i think, i still need to fix a few things before i actually display them here. Gomen ne, delaying for so long.

Good news! I'm currently working on Showdown on Fate mangafied page 4, and so far, it looks great to me. More kanji...and so some of you would probably ask me for translations...and so, this time i'll write down the translations on the descriptions..

I'm also currently working for the FF7AC doujin for the CC Alliance, so, if i can actually finish at least 6 pages or 10 pages before the deadline, you can buy it from the Crazy Catz Alliance. I think the details are in one of -chan's journals... Look it up! (Oh yeah, i think in all my manga projects, this doujin is my favourite )

Well, the updates soon won't look like the usual things i submit, that's all I say. What else? Hmm. Oh yeah, I'm really happy you all like how I CG, and encouraging me to continue and stuff. Yays for CG & traditional!

Hello all...I've been away from DA for a while...all the nice comments still piling up..got to clear them up one of these days..

Thanks for those who added me to their devwatch, even when i almost never update, and for that i'm truly sorry for this, and if i haven't added you to my watch yet.

To my dear ~Sakuchi -chan, i'm very very sorry that i couldn't finish the doujinshis for the alliance, even though i didn't leave it to the last minute, and i tried my best to make it look as great as i can for you, and i really wanted to submit this year. But the way things are this semester, i don't think i can do any submissions for the time being, I'm very very sorry..i'll understand if you're angry with me, i did promise you i would submit.

I sat for the first ongoing test for this semester today. From the expressions of my lecturer and what she said just now, we didn't fare so well. Thank you, personal problems that kept blocking good ideas out of my hollow head. Tomorrow we'll have fonetics and phonology. And the day after, yet another ongoing italian test. Pray that i'd do well. And I still have unfinished assignments to finish before the 10th week. And yet another one dear lecturers are going away. Geez, this is one hard semester.

I have a headache...so please excuse me if i wrote any bad words just now.

The 3rd semester has started..and i'm starting my new life by being roomates with ~HimeTytan nee-sama~~ and there's never a dull moment since i can glomp her 24/7 nyufufufufu *9-pillow jinchuu-stanced*

Last Saturday, I went to the Bon Odori festival at Shah Alam in Matsushita Sports complex (I think that was the name with my nee-sama, and her 4 friends which she introduced me to, including and They're just wonderful wonderful people, nee-chan said that they're just as crazy as i am. Now i have more people to talk anime and games about! Weeeeee

So anyway, by the time we arrived, there were lotsa lotsa people, some of them wearing yukata-s, and even my gorgeousness nee-sama in her purple yukata made by ~karoru-chan , who also wore a yukata she made, but red. They had trouble putting them on >>; Yep, and it was troubling for them to sit down properly...cause they couldn't~. But I could mbuahahahahahaha

Okies nee-sama’s looking at me one kind now xDDDDDD Anyway, the festival started at about 7pm something with the drums performance. Of course I ran forward to take piccies At first I didn’t join the dances cause ~HimeTytan nee-sama didn’t want to dance, it’s no fun dancing alone, no? ~kerubin-kun wanted to dance too, but ~karoru-chan didn’t want to, but then they told us to go and have fun,so yeah, we went to the field and danced to the wonderful Japanese cultural dances like the o-hanagata (the fan dance thingie) And let me tell you all, that :devkerubin-kun dances more gracefully than I do. I found an excecutable file called "kernels32.exe". I know "kernel32.exe" is bad news, but i also knew that there's a kernel32.dll. Then I executed the program to see if it is bad news or not. Darn curiosity. And it turns out that..

Oops. Bad news for me. VERY bad news.

After nagging my bro for 2 days, my brother finally agreed to teach me how to reformat the computer. Yep, next time this sort of things happen, i can do it myself! Weee! And in an attempt to rid myself of the stupid mcafee rubbish, i found out how to edit the registry hahaha

So now i can register in peace.. But the thing is...i had to re-install everything...aii.. Oh well, at least my baby's aaaalll clean again! I hope that's the last i'd see those stupid browser hijacking blahblahblah malwares. die malware makers DIE!!! *cough*

Well, gotta go do those delayed drawings now I got myself lotsa reference piccies and i downloaded an FFVIIAC E3 2005 trailer, very high quality! Weeee SEPHIIIIII ur baaaaaaackkk!!!

I have so many things to do..but i don't feel like doing them...and my brother is messing up my mangas again...that really annoys me...as if he'd bother putting them back nicely..yeah right..*looks at Dragon Quest, Hajime Kindaichi and that manga by Natsuko Heiuichi in messy positions*

I feel a bit sick now..my left arm hurts a bit since this morning..at the spot where my arm was broken about 5 years ago..maybe cause it was cold..i dunno..and then i had a lil stomachache..well..that i don't have to wonder..then at night (now) i hav a headache..geez..

And worse...i don't draw as well as i usually do..x_X Anyway..i'm not complaining..just feel like saying it out...virtually..

Anyway..sorry cause i haven't updated for a few weeks..i can't use photoshop cause the serial number is "expired". Now i can't even experiment with digital screentoning...

Sorry for the delays. I've told you guys about how my 1st computer died, and then the other follows suit a few days after, right? (those 2 must've been lovebirds.. ) All my leeched anime songs/trailers/scanlations/raw manga scans were in that 2nd computer... X_x;;;; Oh, woe is me! Now I'll have to burn everything in CDs so that won't happen again..for the I-can't-remember-how-many-times-already. .

All my reference pictures also went bye-bye, geez, talk about slowing down working progress even more. I have to get them all back... Time to call the GetBackers...

My brother just came back 2 days ago. I was feeling happy cause i thought that was the moment my "for gaming purposes" computer would be revived (cause he's techier than me, i'm only good at wrecking ) I was hoping he'd send it to the shop immediately. But then he said "fixing it yourself would only cost RM3.00, but if you send it to the shop it'll cost you RM50.00." So he tried to fix it by himself first, trying to reformat it, blahblahblah -- then we realized that something's wrong with the hard disk--AGAIN. This would be the 2nd time we have to change that computer's hard disk~ my poor baby,.. A hard disk is RM250.00..so i'll definitely have to wait until the end of the month. waaaaaaaaaah.

Today I found out all the programs in my other computer which i usually use couldn't run at all, even the start button! Oh my. O__o;;; It just kept saying "Explore has...error in browseui.dll...blahblah" So, i can't use that computer for the time being..i thought i wouldn't be able to update until somehow my busy-working dad fixes it...but then...dan-dan-dan! I got IE in my older computer to work again! Whooooopiee!! Guess this is what they call in Full Metal Alchemist the "equal exchange" concept~ lol so I can update and go to DA again! All this knowledge of spyware helped, and i've learnt how to rgister .dll files too. These holidays are just one big computer-learning course, hehee

I wonder my already-wacko-computer went...even weirder? The last time it was working, i was online, when the computer stopped responding. Either a virus, adware or Spyware i guess. And I think i'm turning into a computer geek...haha (but that's a good thing. )

Oh yeah--how can i access the registry manually, and does anyone know what programs can remove the spyware PC Weasel? (yeah, that Keylogger Spyware) And what sould i do when my thorough scan in scandisk wouldn't work (it keeps re-starting)? And my old norton antivirus button wouldn't work (2001) because it says "S32STAT.DLL file is missing" then i downloaded that file and i was unable to register it... Does anyone know the answers? Let's share our knowledge, wee!!! And it would be of great help

Hi again all. I just got home last night. Strangely, I'm still tired. *_*; I'm not sure if i have a resolution for the new year, except that project i'm planning to make to change myself into a-- *nee-chan glares* *coughs* cosplayer or something. And probably my own Doujinshi at the Comic Fiesta. and maybe learn how to cg real good! And more bishies! And more drawings of my onee-samaaaa!!! Yays!! *jinchuu-ed with pillows by nee-sama again*

Anyway..a lot of things happenned last year, nee. Last year was really special and surprising for me, it wasn't like any year I've gone through before--so many new things I've done and experienced. That includes going to the airport alone...(grrr, i'm never gonna take the bus to KL central again, grumblegrumble) *cough*

Speaking about last year events..allow me to give my condolences to the relatives of the people involved in the Tsunami event..I cried every time i read about it in the newspaper or whenever i saw it on TV. Let's pray that this Calamity ends soon, and may God bless the souls of those who have gone.

OK, my big events last year is this:
- Trying to do art seriously since entering DA (with colours and background and all that)
- Entered University Malaya
- Met my two Nee-chans aka my forever best friends and also awesome artists!! <--BEST EVENT OF ALL (and meeting you too, ~mona-chan ! )
- Knowing more about what to do and what's not to do >__>;;; (i've made a lot of stupid mistakes)
- Being a model in a fashion show
- The whole Japanese Language Branch knowing my name (being an Italian language student, that's totally weird, lolz )
- travelling to the airport alone.
- Going to comic and anime related festivals for the first time!

Nyuk nyuk. Hello again everyone!

Guess what? I had this really weird dream last...no, this morning. *cough*

I dreamt that i was running with Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz in a badly damaged building, and it has lots of floors, just like the ShinRa company building. We were running, and Yazoo and Loz fired their guns at some army force or something....seems like the bad guys (huh? ) was trying to get their hands on a mystical/magic orb which, I happen to have. The orb was really beautiful, it had a strange incomprehensible words in it, and even in the dream, i was mesmerized just looking at it. *_* oh yeah, the words were silver in colour.

Everyone wanted the orb-thingie cause it was said to be able to tell the true meaning of life!! lolz. Anyway, after that running scene, i was sliding through a slide-pipe thingie (just like in Dexter's Laboratory ), which is a shortcut leading to some kind of hideout. The hideout looks remarkably similar to the church at the slums, only that it has a kitchen. Oh yeah, in that world, Cloud was rumoured to be already dead. But then, when I was walking to the back part of the hideout, i saw Cloud standing there with his back facing me. He was wearing clothes that looked just like Vincent's , his hair was a little longer than before.

He noticed that I saw him, then he jumped into another hole-pipe-slide-shortcut thingie ( ) just in front of him. I shouted: "Wait!" But he was gone. After that, i was looking at the orb, wondering what hidden power it has. Then, all of a sudden Cloud reappeared! He had Vincent's pose/poise, (as i had said earlier), the wind in his hair, and he had-- Sephiroth's devilish expression!!! OMG HE LOOKED SO HOT!! But he's not as hot as the real expression from Sephi himself, of course. He reappeared carrying...2 plastic bags? Ok, this is getting weird.

Oh yeah-- I was Yuffie!

We talked for a while, then a fat woman appeared. She claims to be Aeris' DAUGHTER!? She's lying, cause she looks NOTHING like Aeris. Believe it or not, she looked like Lillian Too(the Feng Shui expert lady.

Hello again all~ It was nee-chan's BIRTHDAY yesterday! Go say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to her nee!???

I'm almost finished with one project, now i have to worry about another. Oh well. I'm still lucky, cause some of my other friends got 4 projects! O_O; Scary nee. I'll manage somehow.

Last night our college (or hostel) held cool events for the moon cake festival! Gyaaaaa it was AWESOME!! I had lots of fun~~ I held a lantern and walked around my university for the 1st time in my life! And behind the college headmasters & VIPs! And best of all, i walked with my close friends while singing like crazy! (i walked with ~ HimeTytan -nee-chan & ~PakuPaku ) & The food was okay (not too spicy like it usually was) And they staged a funnie version of that story where that guy who became king after he shot 9 suns out of 10...i cant remember the neme..

And not only that, they staged "Eyes on me" using the electronic organ, flute & 'Er Hu' (chinese musical instrument) Actually i was feeling down the whole day for some reason, but after listening to that, i am REVIVED!! MUAAHAHAHAAA~~ *cough* Anyway, i couldn't have had this much fun without my friends. Thankiesguys!

- but the thing is... i accidentally chose the course too easy for me.... everything is so kiddy-kiddy... O___O;;;
- I learned how to sing "Ue o muite arukoo (Sukiyaki) and how to do the Japanese 'Yosakoi' dance! Yippie!!

Well...I'm really happy to say that i got an offer to a university.... Maybe I'll learn Japanese Language there! (I hope) So it'll be a while before I get back here, until I find a way to send stuff here again, I'll take a little break.
