Roareye is back in the pixel art saddle and he's brought a brand new lighting technique with him. Currently in my dA gallery is the Gimmick Mountain BG I'm working on. Well keep your eyes peeled for a completed version of that. Current updates are a yellow light, a red light (Actually in the bg of the original level), purple rocks dissolving into the background blueness. Not only do these things exist, but they all work together to create the new lighting effect. The central pillar has been given dashes of yellow and red, the floor of the cylinder and the side wall have the light effect and I'm simply working on the surrounding rocks. There are already 15 rocks, but I'll have to roughly double that >.< However the new lighting effect has made a really sexiful wet rock texture.
I will be adding: Another light source to the top left, the dual-pillars on the front right with some more lighting and the bottom left will have either the tube-platforms (ewww >.<

or I'll find something.

Syndicate Prime;
I've got the story for the fifth and final installment of the series (At least in it's current form, but I'm going to make 5 and then look into my other projects), and it's the most epic of all the stories. Which is good for a penultimate ending book

I've named all the novels already and also been adding more depth storylines to each book (Such as a courtroom drama side to Book 2, a deeper and darker relationship between SideWinder and McCalibre in Books 2 and 3 to name only two). Here's the naming list (The names mean something related to the story btw);
Book 1: Syphecode Alpha
Book 2: Symbiotic Psychosis
Book 3: Saint's Fall
Book 4: Beaten Philosophy
Book 5: Burnout Wreckshido

On the subject of other books that I'll write after Syndicate Prime, I have these;
Cosmic Latitude - previously called Power Cosmic, but renamed cos it sounded better. This is a Sci-Fi with a cool atmosphere which enables you to step back and judge humanity from a unique perspective.
Konsortium - A co-writing job with a real life friend of mine. Konsortium is a near-future sci-fi action book that's more cerebral than most. The main characters are basically chess pieces in a game between a long dead man and a computer.
Love Remembers - A romance novel with some subtle dark edges. After seeing The Notebook and several events occuring with me and my girlfriend, I felt in the mood to create a more romantic plotline. Another key to this is that Syndicate Prime originally included several relationships which are no longer shown (Some are referred to) or no longer occur as they were fluff and removed the extremely cold biting edge the novels. And yes, I missed writing romantic scenes >//_//<
Brothers In Arms (tentative title) - WWII novel, set around a small group of soldiers fighting for their lives in France near the tail end of the war. Another angle in this book is that it will also focus on the emotional and hard-working (to the detriment of their health usually) women of London who often got horrible diseases or died in the servitude of their husbands in the battlefield.

Summer of Sonic;
This event was awesome! We had a freaking fantastic time. Want to say that Helenbaby, Vger, H Hog, Hannah Echidna, Siriku, AAUK, Dread, Urtheart and the likely hoardes of others I've missed all ROCK. We had such a fantastic blast, and theevent itself, the nightclubbing with you guys, the next day in the pub... pure heaven. THAT, ladies and gentleman, is what Summer of Sonic is all about. Friends meeting, and spending time together having fun. If you came just for the guests, the games or the superficial stuff then you missed the point entirely and it's your loss. Summer of Sonic is an event for you guys to meet and greet, and hopefully you all enjoyed it ^_^

http://Roareye.deviantart.com/journal/25900779/ Sun, 12 Jul 2009 14:16:07 PDT I'm onto Chapter 12 now, with each later Chapter being considerably longer than Chapters 1 and 2 have been. That may seem a bit oddly paced, but the purpose of the first several chapters must be to suck in a reader's attention. Once they are setlled in nicely, you can then bang on with more detail and longer Chapters because once an audience is engaged they will gladly lend more of their time to your book. Not heard alot of feedback on the novel, I'll be honest, and Chapter 1 pettered out at 24 page views and one comment. Still, that's to be expected. DeviantArt isn't exactly a literary culture (Short-sharp one-look stuff is more it's flavour, I'm as guilty of that as anyone else too!). I shall plod on regardless.

As for my reveal, my mind is currently formulating a more fleshed out story for my two-year long concieved Sci-Fi project. Tentatively titled "The Power Cosmic" (Though I'm still not set on the name), it is set in the mid-late 2000s (Sort of 2065 region) after constant economical crisis has shattered the boundaries of peace. After long term conflicts and mostly cold-wars between different cultures, a final peace keeping solution is created - the first Universal Space Program. The Moore is built in space at the International Space Station (Currently being built in orbit IRL) to allow for heavyweight parts to be installed (Whereas these parts would make for problematic take-offs and landings). This means the ship can only orbit planets, not land, where small landing craft must be deployed. The Moore was built and sent on it's way, the mission to begin assessing the colonisation of other worlds began... and then the Moore disappeared. Cultural and political friction is blamed among a panic-stricken Earth and quickly a new craft is funded.
Ten years later the ship, 5-Crew replacement craft "Hawkins" is complete. As political and cultural issues reach boiling point on Earth, the craft is launched to continue the mission the Moore failed to accomplish.

The concept behind the series is to show an alien light on humanity. How humanity as a group is primitive, savage, and yet when seperated becomes brave and honourable. Friction in a group is one interesting angle (However I am exploring this in Syndicate Prime already), the unique spin for "Power Cosmic" over my other works is it's other-worldly factor. The writing will show Earth, very much like today, as shocking and unreal, simply by asking "If you could live in solitude or on Earth, what would you choose?". Without spoiling key aspects to the book, the real question spanning it is looking at how wonderful humanity is with it's technical prowess and inventive skill, and then how horrific and unstable we are by viewing our petty struggles and ignorant hatred together in one clash. Would you be honoured, or disheartened to call yourself human?

Do you guys like the idea of Power Cosmic? If so, can you think of a more catchy name (Power Cosmic sounds a bit too girly, I want something edgy that stands out). Any comments about Syndicate Prime are also welcome... yes I really am pining for feedback XD

The details do exist, and are certainly thorough enough. I am going to update the posted Chapter 1 with these details to give it that missing bit of polish.

But I'm not just stopping there with character design. The character designs were sent (In some depth) to the artist I've selected to do the artwork for Syndicate Prime. This story, in my mind, requires a unique feel. At least that's what I'm trying to write. I modern day crime novel with the feel of a sci-fi novel without ever straying from reality and the plausible. A strange mix for sure. So the artwork has to reflect this unique look, and I've found an artist I believe to be perfect for the job.

Eye of Vogler is an artist who has a very varied and very vivid collection of artwork. Alot of graffiti style art really fits in wit the downtown lower east side of New York, however the artwork for Syndicate Prime is going to be slightly different (And personally I can't wait to see the results).

This was the piece of artwork in his collection that caught my eye, but instead of fixing mostly on the graffiti-art aspect of the drawings, I requested a darker sci-fi feel with added focus on depth and colour scheme. So far he has had 5 character descriptions sent his way. Some I can say, one I'd rather not spoil.

I'll give a VERY short breakdown of the character descriptions, but EyeOfVogler has more complete ones (And they'll be written into the novel)
Lowestowe - Clean and calculated, black shirt, white suit jacket and dark jeans. Medium long brown hair
Phelps - Green t-shirt with unbuttoned blue shirt worn messily, brown suede jacket and scruffy jeans, black spiked hair
Loftbauger - Red shirt and tie, tucked into black suit trousers, dark blue eisenhower-ike jacket (Police jacket) with no insignia, blonde middle-parted hair
Rampart - WW2 British army jacket with American 82nd Airborne Division patch on left arm, white camoflage trousers, brown military cut long flat-top/spikes

That covers the characters mentioned in Chapter 1 to tide you over for the update and Chapter 2 (coming very very soon too).

But away with cute love-dovey cutesy wutesy bullshat, this journal is me posting happy happy thoughts... in a way. lol Positive news basically.

I'm back, after months of my PC being dead it hath returned from repair. And now I've got all my backed up shizzle on here I can finish releasing the new SSN (Down for so long due to said computer death) as well as looking at starting new pixel art (The Netbook I made the last one on really wasn't as comfy to use as I thought after long periods of time) but most importantly I'm heading deep into novel writing.

Evolved from my old CUTN series (Which in itself evolved from a Sci-Fi story from when I was 14), Syndicate Prime is a deep emotional rollercoaster wrapped in a rich and dark underworld of a crime thriller. You can expect the crimes of drug dealing, money laundering and even assassination, but the deep focus of this story is more on the characters themselves and how the events they create shape their lives. The overall ideology is a group of people who use stolen money earned from murder, try to create the Syndicate as a positive force for equality within America. However the brutal reality of the criminal underworld soon spirals events out of the group's control, and in the end they become the biggest victims of the negative force they created. The age old story of no negative is positive, and how you victimise yourself through your life choices.

The novels will be a series, I'm looking at up to 5. I don't want to stretch the series out of ideas, however I know that I have 3 set books for definate. I'm going to see if I can condense what I have into the three books or if it will require more, however the choice to extend past 3 books will not be made lightly. Each book is tightly packed with inter-woven plotlines which all build up to the climax of each novel. Each book can be read on their own, even though they use established characters, however for best effect it is best to start with Book 1.

I'm looking for artists to create artwork of each character, and also a book cover style artwork. Suggestions welcome

I'm happy to pay for art, I'm not expecting freebies.
The first novel is over a quarter complete, which stands at roughly 80 book pages so far (Which should average the book out at 340 pages). Each book will have a sub-name of course to distinguish them. And I'll be posting up a taster of it here soon

This makes it hard, y'see the company has broken the golden rule of marketing. NEVER go for the audience you'll never ever win over, you're wasting time and money for a revenue you'll never make back. However, using this goal as a guide, the film is highly successful. IT removes the techno-babble, it removes the thick lore and history of Star Trek, trimming it back to the memorable characters and throwing in much more epic action sequences to really make the package much more enticing. To someone with a potent dislike of Star Trek, this film is incredibly open and very very fun to watch. This means it achieves its goal. However will it make fans out of those new audience members? Most likely not, but that remains to be seen. If that audience doesn't come, or come back, this film will already be a failure.

However onto what a fan wants (Being a big big fan myself). One of Abrams' goals was to not just open Star Trek up, but to create a memorable tale for long term Trek fans to love and adore. What's not to like afterall, it's the ORIGINAL CREW all back in action to kick some major ass!? Well... actually there is a huge amount not to like.

First of all, this is a refresh. And yet in comes Leonard Nimoy AS the original Spock. First major issue. This film rewrites the entire of Trek Lore (Or more accurately, shits on it and throws it away). As a key example, the planet Vulcan is destroyed forever and completely gone, and Spock's mum is dead. Bit of a major change that, and a good example of how much they threw away. And for your information, yes that IS a permanent change. Now if you were to consider this a total refresh, doing away with the old and in with something fresh and new, that would be fine. Except it's now NOT something totally fresh and new, cos the original Spock is in it. That means to create this alternate reality you have to purposely destroy the entire of Star Trek. You're not just building a new reality, you're physically ripping apart the original one. That is a big big mistake. And massive major error number 1.

Massive major error number 2, who the fuck are these enemies? Romulans? Don't think so somehow, don't look like it. Why is every Romulan tattooed if they're supposed to be the ones from the original continuity? That dun make sense. They're also on a mining vessel, which is heavily armed (apparently with no upgrades for these armaments which makes no sense) which includes no Remens. Again this ship is supposed to be from the original continuity, where original Spock comes from, yet it is totally wrong. The ship doesn't even look Romulan, but it does look Remen. Someone took a 5 minute look at Nemesis and based everything off of that, seemingly confusing Romulans and Remens and ending up making neither in the process. Fail.

Massive Error number 3, Uhura and Spock romance. Now this in itself would have been okay, I could accept it and find it a cool addition, except it was done pathetically. Snogging in front of all staff before going on an away mission? Spock wouldn't do that! Nor would Uhura actually. As an almost unspoken but tense undercurrent romance it would have been perfect, but as a blatant snog-off as it was it was ridiculous and totally ruined Uhura's character. In fact its a testiment to how badly the entire film was written.

Massive Error number 4, the directing of action scenes. Now most of the scenes were well directed, but especially by the end of the film the action scenes got lame. Not because they weren't well planned, I loved the ideas they had. But the direction was terrible. Too much camera movement, horrific employment of the evil wobblycam meant that alot happened and I witnessed... fuck all =\ You may as well have not shot the bloody action scenes if I can't see them, while it's not as shoddily done as Quantum of Solace the principle is that I can't see any action so why actually bother? You're wasting my time and the studio's money to achieve nothing.

Massive Error number 5, casting was hit and miss. Kirk, Spock, Uhura and McCoy were all spot on. Couldn't fault them as performers, they were entirely believeable. In fact Chekov wasn't bad either, and Sulu was passable. Then there's Pike and Scotty, who were uber epic fail. Pike was far too old for the part, didn't look like Pike and didn't even have Pike's build or maneurisms, he was a total waste of time and although a good actor, was not a good Pike. So what have I been busy with? Well first of all the job I got promoted to last year (Without a pay rise, mind

) as Head of Training on my section is going amazingly well. I finished rebuilding the section's training system from scratch a week ago, and it's currently in testing stage, the great news being that it is currently working exceptionally well

I am also working on a new training system to get a small amount of people on my section recognised as Specialists, which entitled them up to another Â£1 per hour on their pay, in which I've finished writing down the criteria, I'm contacting companies (With a very positive reply from Sony) to see what training schemes they can offer at a specialist level and once I have that information I can write up the documentation about the training plan itself.

On a much more personal note, my relationship has been running for 4 months now and is going brilliantly

Despite it's still relatively short lifespan so far, this relationship is easily the best one I've ever had. It is superb to finally have a girlfriend that accepts me for who I am and doesn't try to change me, and isn't going out with me just to get something out of me. Considering I've had five relationships before this one (Including online and offline), it's about time I met a decent girlfriend. If this relationship doesn't work out I'll be devastated, but at least have the knowledge that we'll always be friends and she won't attack me verbally every chance she gets like my past girlfriends have ^_^

This relationship is so secure, there's no panic on either side of anyone running off, no verbal assaults. Hell the biggest arguement we ever had was very brief and didn't include any anger, any shouting or anything. She has a strange calming effect on me, so somehow I don't get steamed up (Which anyone will tell you is usually a regular thing. I am a Tiger and Leo Lion starsign combo afterall

). I think it's because neither of us are out to argue, both of us just want to relax and be happy when we're together and so we both just naturally calm each other down simply with our presence. It's a nice feeling, because it prevents the heightened aggression and confusing verbal gibberish that is so common in relationships.

We've even started a scrapbook

It's an amazing thing to do, if anyone else here is in a relationship I seriously recommend it. Even the inclusion of small things (Cinema tickets from your first date, photos of you together at a meal, hell even the reciepts of buying the scrapbook itself!) adds up to a more complete memory lane of your relationship. So if you feel your relationship will last (Which this one does to me ^_^) start it as soon as possible and start adding all those little things which are meaningless to anyone else, but symbolise the events of your relationships together.

I may knock around this new dA system and see what it offers me, but I would hope anyone in a relationship here is inspired to make a scrapbook. Tis a good idea

Now for the uneducated (As I was) in the difference, a cold is a bacterial problems which is irritating but not too serious. The Flu is a viral infection which is potentially life threatening (Which is why so many adverts every Winter go out about old people getting the Flu Jab).

So when my parents come home Thursday night (After I threw up that morning I called in sick to work) they find me shivering in cold with my body temperature well over three times hotter than it's normal heat and my eyes bloodshot.

Since having abdominal cramps, vomiting, suffering issues with temperature and bloodshot eyes my condition has only increased slightly. The infection has ripped my throat apart, I'm coughing almost constantly and alot of gunk is coming out, it's moved into my synovial tubes affecting my eyes, ears and nose increasingly. My nose keeps dripping, my eyes water with pressure and I've been having internal bleeding in my internal nasal passageways.

So all in all I'm completely incapacitated, fucked and destroyed. I've not been online much and this is simply a notification of why I havn't been and why I prolly won't be for a week or so. I'm going to the doctor's on Monday to see how bad it is and what can be done about it. If I die then feel free to laugh x___x

Number 2. Got a part in the new play for Lindisfarne (The group I took the starring role of The Graduate in) called A Dolls House by Henrik Ibsen. It could be seen as one of the first ever feminist plays. It's an interesting book, if only to guage your reaction to the ending (In it's time, 1800's, it got banned in 3 countries cos it's end showed a woman making a decision for herself). Trouble is the role is a guy in his fifties with a crippling spine degeneration problem. VERY different to anything I've done before, but I got the part. They have faith in me to get the characterisation down right (With makeup taking away my youthful looks).

Number 3. New album coming out soon. This time NOT The Royal Shatners, it will actually be me singing lol. The benefit is that I'll also be covering a wide variety of games throughout gaming history by multiple companies (Currently got a Super Mario Bros theme remake - for the movie, Gerudo Valley from LoZ, Railroad Tycoon II and Hexuma from the Amiga console and only released in Germany). There are going to be alot more, however the album is going very well and has cited positive reaction.

Number 4. Finally Wrecks Factor is open and will be celebrated soon. I just finished the song I have made with Elson Wong called Merry Christmas, Shiro! It uses the Sega Saturn, Shiro! music commonly used for Segata Sanshiro. Sexual

For the last few months, I have had a certain someone continuously assault me. Either in public or behind the scenes I was the recipient of an unprovoked and relentless attack on my character and on my person. This is not an attempt to make that person sound bad, if she feels she had reason then that's how she feels and I'm not interested in arguing anymore.

This person is

Lulia. The only reason I state the name is for this last reason. She has created a character named Thales Muluk Mavoui. While she is entitled to make as many children as she likes for Lily, this one is apprently Roareye's "son". This is not so as she has NO legal rights to control my character's story. In effect this character shud be considered little more than a fangirl's dreamy fanart (Which I'm sure will be scoffed at by those that know her, but the fact is this character is unofficial and does not exist). For this character to be legally Roareye's son, I'd have to approve it. I had no hand in it's creation and as such it's not real. I have reported such a character as a violation (Which it will not be if she removes roareye from the character's backstory).

I am also cutting off almost all the friends I have that know her. I can't trust you. Some of you have been instrumental in helping Lulia contact me just to flame me. You guys are sick and I no longer desire to be attacked when I'm innocent. You will know who you are. These incidents (Which have been happening every two weeks constantly without fail) have led to me being down, my girlfriend crying over things that have been said and horrific tensions between friendships of some of our joint friends who I treasure most (CyberBlade and Gerk are exceptionally wonderful people who have been unfortunate to be stuck in the crossfire of something that shud be long since dead). This will end. These people are now blocked on dA, Skype and MSN where I usually roam, and if she has any more curses about me on her dA or in private is her business. I'm through slinging mud, hell I've not even spoken to her for over a month and a half and she continues this tirade and somehow I'M the villain.

So I'll put it this way simply;
- I'm NOT a stalker, she made that up
- I'm NOT talking to or yelling insults at her
- I'm NOT sleeping with people, I have a girlfriend and we're waiting over a year before we do anything like that
- Roareye does NOT have a son, if he did I'd create him and he wudn't be named Thales. Thales shud not be inserted into any RPs I enter and certainly won't be included in any backstory or family for Roareye.

Anything else she says is likely pure lies or insults. Regardless I don't care. Believe as you like, I'm fed up of suffering unjust assaults by her and silently taking a beating for doing nothing wrong. Just remember that pretty much everything she says about Roareye's backstory is false (Especially since the reboot) including any new characters. The only official child to Roareye is Joanna (Which by irony I'm not allowed to show because she'll call me out for stealing copyright tho she's partly mine too, despite her abusing my character with a random son without my consent).

There's no malice behind this, no aggression. I'm annoyed by the constant abuse but I can't change that. At least those who want to know the truth now know it, and I can finally end this stupid thing. I'll get attacked for this journal alone but I don't care, she can't personally reach me and any of her friends that attack me here will be added to the block list. I've had enough of you allowing this bullying and I'm better off without you having a say =/

1. Finished all my performances of The Graduate, thus ending my first stint as the lead actor in a play.
2. Clearly nailed the part of Benjamin Braddock as John Giles (A REALLY hard guy to impress) rated me very highly in the performance;

3. Everyone at the acting group love me, and I love them. They're amazing people, really they all are. In fact the usual lead actor said that they couldn't imagine a Lindisfarne anymore without me in it.
4. Everyone at work is absolutely astonished by how much I've gotten done in just over a month of taking my new promotion. I've already created 3 working initiatives to increase customer service in John Lewis - a store renowned for being the best in customer service already!
5. I have a new girlfriend, and my God it's going fantastically. When I'm with her it's like there's a spark pulling us together. Can't keep my lips off hers XD I trust her entirely, and she trusts me, which is good considering last night for me.

Last night was the final performance of The Graduate. I went to the aftershow party held at the house of the lady playing my Mrs Robinson. While there I drank over half a litre of pure spirit at 42% (My preferred Danish stuff - Aalborg Taffel Akvavit) as wel as some Apple Juice and alot of food to help settle it all down. Was up til 7.30 this morning, being straddled by my Mrs Robinson (Who is a lesbian so that meant nothing) and claiming undying love for everyone as only a good drunk can. They were all pissed too so it's ok.

I then collapsed into bed at 7.30am in the same bed as Toni, my Elaine Robinson, who I later found out was completely naked in the bed O.o Strange party, but oh so definately worth it. I've never felt closer bonded to my acting group, and I'm going to immediately start writing a unique play for them.

My girlfriend knows all about my misdemeanors last night, and she's aware nothing happened. And I'm so very very lucky to have a girlfriend who is so understanding of the things I do. I've only been with her a week! A whirlwind week make no mistake, but a very positive one and one I can see only a great future developing from ^_^

http://Roareye.deviantart.com/journal/20916569/ Fri, 10 Oct 2008 06:45:35 PDT Woke up at 7am to do some chores (You dun wanna know what), and have breakfast (Which I missed), then had a driving lesson at 10am and finished at work for 11, started work at 11 (literally immediately after my lesson), worked til 2 when I had an hours lunch where I discovered the lady I was interested in has zero interest in me, deflated I continued working without a break til 8.15, where I had to go to play rehearsals which I was already late for until 10.30, when I was then taken to an after rehearsal pub meeting. I decided to drink two double shots of Sambucca Black at once to forget my stresses and disappointments before getting driven home (My one luxury) at half midnight and collapsing to sleep.

This is somewhat typical of alot of my days (Minus the drinking) which will continue happening until Sunday next week.
Still, my job is becoming more and more impressed with how I've handled my job, and are really glad to have me creating unique ideas for improving our service there. My drama group are impressed wth my performance and I'm getting alot of backing by them and support tackling this huge huge lead role.

Personal life is dull however. Despite having little time to enjoy it, I'm just completely bored and fed up with being rejected 24/7. Everyone around me seems to have someone to spend their time with and I'm getting bored of being single.
Whenever I ask a woman, they say "We can go out, sure. But we'll only ever be friends, cos I think you're a wonderful friend." so I just feel like telling them to phuck off XD It's really jaded me, but I have enough friends. I got my mates, I'm not after someone as just another friend so why would I waste my time seeing them in my spare time? And I can already see the wave of women who'll reply here saying "It would be better to be friends with someone before dating them.", but they're all hypocrites.

I've tried that on more than one occassion and every time I end up hitting the barrier of friend and I have to hear about how their wonderful new boyfriend is and get spoken to like one of their girl mates. -_- Thanks for the details, I'M NOT INTERESTED.
I may just follow my original plan. Wait til I'm 26 to start dating, cos hopefully by the time women are 26 they'll be mature enough to actually WANT a relationship.

I'm not actually mad at anyone here, I'm just expelling hot air like a reject XD I'm sure I'm not the first person to have gotten irritated at the opposite sex when flirting and relationships don't go their way, I'm just blasting cos I can

and Spineshank to name just a few.

Still, on subject is a band I've really gotten into which I've learnt have already split up but they rock anyway. Cibo Matto are a Japanese female punk duo which, while genre cast as Alternative/Punk, use alot of dance beats and samples to create rich sounding songs.

One of their songs, Birthday Cake from their Viva La Woman album, was featured on Jet Set Radio Future. This track is extremely punky and has the lead singer shouting alot as part of the vocals. I'm still waiting to recieve Viva La Woman so it's hard to compare it to the rest of the album tracks yet.

However their second (And last) album, Stereotype A, has come through a few days ago and it's refreshingly different. It includes fusions of funk, Bossa Nova and still some tracks harkening back to a more punk sound.

Stereotype A has to be one of the most overlooked and undoubtably cool albums I've heard in a long while. It's relaxed while punchy, it's chillout while punky, it's techno while funky. And it seems to achieve all hese styles without ever shoehorning any of them, and with relative ease. Tracks like Working For Vacation, Lint of Love, Speechless, King of Silence and also Sunday Pt I are all mesmerising tracks.

If you like music generally I'd suggest to listen out for Stereotype A. It's a genuinely unique album and since the band split up it's likely to stay that way. Viva La Woman is alot more punky, so if punk isn't your thing you'll likely be turned off of them. But Stereotype A is a much more versatile and accessible album while being more diverse and experimental.

Also with the final track Mortming, Cibo Matto make a track which rings similarities to Radiohead's OK Computer/Kid-A days but actually manages to make it listenable. I hate Radiohead lol

If people are interested in me at all (Which is highly unlikely, I'm boring

) I've mostly just been working full time at the store I got a promotion in, and in practically all my spare time I'm rehearsing which is why I've not been online much at all the last few weeks, and won't be for another 2 weeks (After performances of the play).

However I have my keen eye on a young lady at work called Melissa, she's as wierd as me XP So hopefully when I pluck up the courage to ask her out it won't get thrown in my face lol I think she likes me. We're going to watch a film together soon, and she invited me to the work Christmas party by suggesting she'd be there in a black dress

I look forward to that.

I also bought Super Mario Bros the Movie on DVD. It's terrible but I still love it. Bob Hoskins alone makes that film worth the purchase.

Someone has been constantly nagging me to leave them the hell alone. I did a few weeks ago, it lasted 4 whole days before she made a journal calling me a suicidal and saying she felt hurt and wanted to nkow how I am. So I called her and got back in touch to alleviate her stress, and also cos I wanted to talk.

She then verbally assaulted me yet again less than a week ago, attacking me for talking to her. So I havn't bothered talking to or about her for many days, actually it's gotten to 5 days without any contact, and now a new journal appears slating me and calling me a stalker. What a wonderful notion, she has a big fat ego problem. Can't check up on a friend? Clearly not.

I got no issue with her anymore, after the way I've been treated I was just happy to let things lie. Leave it in her hands. What a surprise I should come under attack again. I'm just gonna butt out this time, leave her to insult and assault me all she likes. I'm not being abused anymore by her deciept and I'm just putting this up to let people know that the last thing I am is a stalker. She can say what she likes, but in the end she was the one who ran off with someone else behind my back.

The website deals with as much detail about the Sonic games as possible, and so I've taken on the role as site historian. My updates will all be about Sonic Game Development and Speculation, as well as analytical writings on the era in which games were made. There are a suprising number of factors an era can have on a game's development.

For this, there is a new section to the site called Historical Editorials. Click in there and you will see the one Editorial available to read (I only just started

). The editorial is comparing the development of Sonic 2 and Sonic CD and seeing if Sonic CD was originally just Sonic 2 with enhanced audio. Read the editorial for some interesting revelations.

I like Concept Mobius, always have. It's always been a very visual site, and I like that. Hopefully if this goes well, I might flex myself into a few more roles on the site (They're thinking of bringing in a Second Opinion on games reviews, and we all know that I'm a ridiculously opinionated bugger XD You'd at least get a fair review).

I hope you guys like, let me know what you think of my findings either on the forums there or on here ^^

Lest to say it should give anyone interested in standalone crime thrillers, or even just Roareye's backstory, a compelling read.

The story set in the mid eighties and is about a detective named Reginold Phelps, who's just graduated from the Academy and is given his first undercover assignment. The infiltration of what appears to be a simple small money laundering group. The small group turns out to be the start of the CUTN (Criminal Underground Terrorist Network), and dangerous wheels are put into motion.
The leader of the group, Frederick Lowestowe, is the only person who is known by name and he has begun building the group in order to achieve social-political status and overthrow a heavily racist government in America (Despite being white himself).
Reginold Phelps initially has issues with merging into the group due to his extreme hatred of the black population, but is slowly coersed by the group. Lowestowe seems to know his entire history, including specific events and dates in his past, and tells intimate private family moments as if he were there.

As his contact to the police department Philip Loftbauger, a graduate the same year as Phelps but achieving much better marks, is assigned as information collating and liaison. However Phelps despises Loftbauger, he's too perfect. He has the handsome good looks, the charming and lovable personality, the cheeky jokes, the perfect blonde hair. Phelps finds him too much a stereotype of the American Hero, and despite all his best efforts to support Phelps, Loftbauger's upstanding attitude eventually forces him to lose control of Phelps. When Phelps goes into a meeting, drunk and broken, a gunshot is fired and Phelps disappears. Fearing Phelps has suffered the same fate as the previously murdered cop on assignment, Jack Denton, Loftbauger is forced to go into the CUTN himself, and risks his career and the mission to recover Phelps if he isn't already dead.

Other characters that start in the series are;
Anarcherial Angel: A white young man, who appears to have deep knowledge of psychological, sociological and criminological studies. He has a love/hate relationship with Symbiotic Crawl, often making jokes at Crawl's hot headed judgements, though secretly he finds them refreshing. When Crawl is almost assassinated, and his wife turned into a mental vegetable, Angel stays by his side and tries to help him piece his life back together.

Symbiotic Crawl: A black hot headed young man, with deep contacts with drug dealers, smugglers and other such underworld activists. During an assassination attempt, Crawl suffers slight brain damage from a major concussion while his wife is turned into a mental vegetable. He nurses her for her remaining days, but when she dies he finds hi life empty and meaningless. Given a window of oppertunity back into the CUTN, Crawl begins what appears to be a murder spree when he discovers some horrifying information. Can Angel reach him before he reaches breaking point?

Rampart: A war veteran, when returning from the war he found his country had turned their backs to him. Feeling disgruntled and knowing little else but violence, he turned to the underworld and became a dark and efficient killer. His main role for the CUTN is group security and the calculation of money.

Other characters which will start life in this book and later obtain more mainstream roles are;
Robtres, Karldes, McCalibre, Hasbeen, Rosella, Geena

I'd also like to note that while I have used the CUTN for RPs concerning my furry based characters, the novels are written with everyone purely as humans, and there may be some small differences in factors (For example if I do decide to create GODS Team within the novel it will be in a more dark and believable way than in Roareye's backstory. Also Roareye was 13 when he joined the CUTN. In the novel the ages and such will be altered in order to make the book as realistic as possible). While the main story premise between my RP character and the novels should be roughly the same, there are small details that will need to be ironed out to stop the book from seeming implausible. Well, that's all folks, I guess you really can't trust people as much as you think sometimes. It's hurt me deeply, but at least I stayed loyal in heart. She'll likely slate me, I'm not slating her though. If she didnt feel anything for me, it was inevitable, I'd just have rathered being given a chance in a relationship than being backstabbed.
At least I know that I wasn't as in the wrong as she was.

OH big news, had my first driving lesson yesterday and it went really well. I'm a natural

I wish to say that, yes I HAVE changed. People change. But you can't blame Lulia for it. She is the reason I've changed yes, but it was MY choice to change my life priorities to fit in with a life with her, it was not something she forced upon me or is trying to somehow manipulate me with.
Frankly I'm shocked that people would see me pouring heart and passion into a relationship as a bad thing, and they would begin to speak about my girlfriend in such a negative way. Several people have insulted her in my (now deleted) journal on the events and that was out of line, and there are people on IMs who simply believe she is manipulating me and it HAS to stop.

Yes I changed. I went from single guy who was floating through life like any bloke to being a taken man who wanted to devote all his energies into pleasing his girlfriend, is that a crime? I want to drive to her, I want to call her when I'm not there, I want to get a flat or house with her, I want to have children with her and I want to spend my life with her. THOSE are the facts, and the only reasons I have changed. She has asked for me to change, to prove that I can be loyal and stay with her (I proved that), that I can fulfill promises I make to her (They were long term, so I'm still doing them) and for me to be less aggressive (Which I failed at miserably).

Do you see anything on there that ISN'T neccesary in a relationship? To know I won't bugger off? To know I can do what I say? To know she can feel like she can express herself without being questioned all the time? True I've asked for little in return (Unless you count the 3 years previous to the relationship, but that's not part of the relationship itself - but the things I requested then were far far more horrible), but it's because I've yet to prove myself on all those things.

So no, I'm not being manipulated by her, nor is she forcing me to change, I'M changing myself because I want to live as good a life with her as I can. So don't blame her for anything, don't call her a manipulater or accuse her of twisting me, don't act as if you know exactly where she's coming from. You don't. She's hurting, and I'm hurting too. And the only way over it together is to work on the things that made the relationship go wrong in the first place, and those things were with me. I make no apologies for trying to better myself for her, and I certainly don't feel manipulated or any less passionate now than before. Indeed, I'm more passionate, and she knows that. I'm passionate for her. If other things have suffered, don't get all jealous, this happens to all guys who find the girl they wanna be with. They SPEND TIME WITH HER and COMPROMISE TO KEEP HER HAPPY, just as she has done for me.

She doesn't deserve this snide assault, especially since none of you say it to her face. Gives her no chance to explain how wrong you really are, and it's upsetting. I'm trying to build bridges here, repair whatever damage I have done as much as I can and having people I know slagging her off without a cause is really hurtful to her, and it is screwing me over. So even if you don't care about her, keep your opinions to yourselves (Or if you really need to say them that much, say them to her and let her tell you the facts) for my sake because I'm sick to keep hearing this anymore. I'm fed up with people saying things about her when she's not here and I won't stand for any more of it. NONE.

I may start putting artwork back up, when I feel artistic which I don't atm, tho what sort of stuff would people who view my page like to see? I did some poetry which I dun think I'll put back up (My poetry sucked and is ancient), I dont know how much of my pixel art I'll put up, likely only my later works. Im not sure what to do with my hand drawn art, did anyone find it interesting at all? There's not likely to be much new stuff cos Im not too good and took it up for a reason, but if anyone wants to see it I can resubmit it. Im looking into doing some new stuff but only time will tell how that will be recieved. But if you guys like any art other than my pixel art, mention what it is and whether or not you'd like me to resubmit it.

I need some positive focus, Ive got my hopes up on current events and to keep my hopes up I need something to occupy my time otherwise I go all freaky.

Sorry to anyone I have offended over the last day. Not been thinking straight. Not been acting straight. So my apologies.
