Home from Italy ^__^


I took 2500+ picture plus 3 videos. One is of th is dog playing with a dead rat in Pompeii [it's cute, you can't tell it's a dead rat he's playing with XP], one for whatever reason [lack of sleep] I can't think of what it is at the moment, and the other is the Pope procession we saw.

Yaah, I saw the Pope!


So I'll be posting lots of Italian deviations over the summer, plus some. But first my dad has to back them up onto a DVD, so I have to wait for that @___@;


Oh well, I can wait! Just not too long >_>


And as for story telling, unless Hell freezes over and I feel like blogging about it, I won't be posting much in blogs or anything. HOWEVER! Feel free to ask me ^_^ I'll be happy to answer, or just wait until we get face-to-face [if that's a possiblity] -- either is good with me.

She's very open and gracious with all my friends, and some. She almost always offers rides and such, and although at big sleepovers she tends to have people leave by about noon, she never complains or lectures about our "interesting" conversations, staying up late, and any mess we might make. And of course, she always offers "sharing ____" for my [kick ass] Latin corner.

She's so supportive of everything I do; anything from dying my hair to being there for my Oral Interpretation competitions. She lets me do horse back riding, hang out with my friends, and be a second mom of sorts for my closest friends. And either way, she's always generous to all my friends, and all she ever asks of my friends is a sincere "Thank you."

She lets me express myself, and is always there for me. She is so incredibley helpful with my one major dedication: my writing. She edits for me, gives me great suggestions and criticism, and praises my work in a way that I know she isn't being [too] biased.

She never judges me, only gives her opinion. She doesn't always understand me, but almost always accepts that and still sympathizes with me.

She is incredible. She is extraordinary. I cannot believe how lucky I am.

I love my mom, and she knows this, and I could never be where I am today without everything she has done for me.





Remember, this day is about being grateful for your mothers, thankful of what they do for us. Though we all know they have their moments of annoyance, so do we. okay! so here's the deal, yo. first off, i'll be around spring break for sure. woohoo!

secondly, i'll be around this weekend because we're not going to the brehnam [sp?] competition [halle-freaking-luja]

april 1st i will be goooone the entire day at some school in the pflugerville school district [it's not PHS, but i can't remember what school it is] for oral interp district competition - YIKES! that means much practicing in the next month x.x'

next on the list, i will probably be going to KENTUCKY in april or may [but probably april i think] to look at a school i'm really interested in. well while i'm there, ima drive down to tennessee to see my dear nik! *dances* that makes me very happeh ^___^

there's also a chance i'll be going to boston and/or pennsylvania ohio to look at schools as well, but that's not as certain as kentucky.

and of course ITALY!!! may 31 - june 15 for those who didn't know. my momi MIGHT MIGHT MIGHT be coming as well - yaaaaay!

tempest was my cut 'n' shuffle poem where we had to write passive and active lines then shuffle them together. i actually wrote my poem first, then seperated them... because i'm different like that

lemon & gates between, though written beforehand, were my freewrites since i couldn't think of anything to write for my first one, and my second was a prose

the assignments i didn't post were "mom's kitchen" where you had to write from the perspective of another femal, it had to include something dead, and... i think that's it. mine was from the P.o.V. of my dog, and the dead thing was a cricket...

our "journey" poem was about a journey were you ended up somewhere you didn't mean to. mine was about a canaray who wanted to be free and stronger, faster, etc. but ends up finding love... d'awwwww
