In other news, I attended my first pirate festival this weekend in Mediera Beach. It was exciting. Lots of real, authentic pirates. I even brought my dog, Jazz. It was her first vacation and she was the best scurvy dog there. Most of my crew ended up leaving before we could even get to the festival because the Captain fell ill, but they were able to return Sunday night for the VIP party. A pirate festival just isn't the same without your whole crew, ya dig? Anyway, I can't wait until the next one in September.

I'll be moving at the end of this month. It's in town, but it still sucks balls because of the whole packing and unpacking thing. I can't help but be excited because I'll be leaving this house full of memories. Memories I can't take any more of.

On a lighter note, things are looking up and I'm finally feeling clear.

Anyway, got fired Friday. Yeah, it was fun. Long time coming though. Took advantage of my free weekend. Had some kick-ass times and met a lot of interesting people.

I have to start focusing on finding a new place. My lease is up at the end of June. So far I have 3 places to choose from. Whichever one that I can have all of my animals at is the best choice I think. First I need to find a job.

The button on my scanner has decided that it doesn't want to do it's job anymore, so I have been without a scanner for quite some time. I still don't have a camera either, so I appologize to the people that think I dropped off the face of the Earth. I, in fact, have not, so there is no need to worry.

First, let me start out by saying that I need this.

Second, let me explain:

I have been continuing to take each day one step at a time. Hanging with different groups of people that I haven’t seen in a while or meeting completely new ones. This opportunity has literally fallen in my lap. I feel like I have to take it. I owe it to myself. I hadn’t quite made up my mind about moving until yesterday. Everything really fell into perspective and I realized that I have to do this. I’m actually doing something for ME! I’m trusting myself with a life-changing decision and it feels GREAT!!!

I hope people understand. The last thing I want is for everyone to think that I am running away. Technically, yes, I am, but it’s all for me this time. No one else. I’m still afraid I will change my mind, but hopefully the way I felt today will motivate me to continue with my plans of relocating myself to Colorado.

Atleast for a few months anyway....

Besides, if what I really need is to learn to live on my own, how can I do that in a place like Florida? Denver is much cheaper and the job market is chuck-full of prime opportunity.

Not to mention leaving this sweltering heat for cool mountain air.

So, here’s my plan:

My lease is up July 1st. Perfect time to start a roadtrip, eh? I need to do a lot of work in these coming months. My car needs looked at, my stuff needs culling, I need to save gas money, I need a second job, I need to decide if I’m taking all of my precious pets. PHEW! I’m tired just thinking about it all.

Mustn’t let laziness get the best of me.

I've already experimented a little with them. I don't know how much I really want to use them in my collages. I'll practice with them more and see what happens.

A question has arose in my mind: should I be giving credit for some of the more recognizable magazine clippings that I use? I say no. I don't see how it's possible. Please let me know if I am walking a fine line here.

My boyfriend's dog, Maggie, was up first. The lady said right away that Maggie thinks she's the prettiest thing in the world. She's a very happy dog that likes most of the people that come around the house. She loves her daddy a lot, but feels she has a stronger connection to me. Whenever we leave the house, she gets really scared and then nervous. I asked if she knows that we're moving soon, and she said that yes, she's excited to move and can't wait to be able to run around in the backyard. I asked her what her favorite animal in the house was and she said it was the one with the soft personality. I asked if it was the cat, and she said right away, "no, he is a dog in cat's clothing". I was a little confused by that, but the lady said that what she meant was that the cat was a dog in a past life! I was so shocked because I was just thinking that before we went. It completely explains why J. Dub likes to have his belly rubbed unlike most felines!!

Now it was my dog, Jazmine's, turn. She said that she had a difficult life in the beginning, but she's a lot happier now than she was. A little history: Jazz was tied up for the first 3 or so years of her life by her original owner, my ex. She never really got to run a lot, but all that changed when she came to live with me. She said that she's always nervous and is more instinctive than Maggie. She doesn't like small places, but loves to be outside where she can run and play. Though she loves me, she's always a little weary because she doesn't want me to leave or send her back to my ex. When she's not busy playing, she is always thinking and worrying about things. All she wants to do is please everyone around her. She said that she is always very hungry, but that didn't make sence to me because she had food in her bowl all day that she refused to eat. She said that her food is hard to digest because she has an allergy to it. That blew me away too, because that would explain all of her tummy aches. The nice people at the bakery gave me some samples of all-natural food and she scarfed it all down as soon as we got home.

My dogs are already like my children, but this entire experience made me feel even more connected to them. It was so nice to hear what kind of things they worried about and how they interpreted the world around them. My next order of business is to have someone tap into J. Dub's (the cat/dog LOL) mind and tell me how he sees life. Maybe I'll even get my rats done and the dogs again. I highly recommend that anyone who loves their animal get them read.

My current relationship is excellent. He's the entire package and then some. I don't want to mess it up with him, so I first made sure he was alright with my current contact. There were some speculation of my ex's intension. What if he was just contacting me to try to get back together? He's cocky enough to try it. After some explanation about the past and what my intensions were, he was okay with letting me meet with him.

We met up at the mall, which was ironic because that's the last place that we had seen each other. After some time, we went back to my apartment and hung out. It was great, just like old times except without the uncomfortable sexual tension. I was a little apprehensive before about even talking to him because I thought that I may still have feelings for him and that I would mess up things with my current love, but all of those kind of feelings seem to have vanished. I have to admit, he's still got a rockin' body, but we are now two different people and I am comfortable with that.

Being friends with ex-boyfriends is nothing new to me. One of my closest friends is an ex. Two of them now. A matter of fact, they are also close friends, despite their initial encounter years ago. I consider myself lucky to have relationships like this.

Everything's been great lately. I just got a new job that's looking more like a career, I have a great apartment with my best friend and boyfriend, and I'm really happy. Of course, nothing can be perfect forever. This evening, my dearest rat, Troy, passed away in my hands. Unlike Dexter's passing, I was prepared. I knew he was getting worse every day and I knew the time was coming sooner than I had hoped it would. What made me feel even better is that he waited for me to be with him until he would let go. He could have gone at any time, but he waited for me to come home from my day. I'm going to bury him beside Dexter at my parent's house in the country. He'll have a tombstone just like Dexter. They are together once more. <3

Today sucks. Last night Dexter, one of my beloved rats, died. I miss him so much. Troy is even more sad. He has no more cagemate to help pass the time. I know he was old, but he was fit and healthy. Sometimes I guess they just go like that. To make the day even worse, my mom called me to tell me that my dog, Jazz, has been missing for 3 days. Why is this happening? I have been in one of the greatest moods I could be in for the past 2 weeks and now all of my pets decide to leave me!? I'm at a loss! I'm good to my pets. My pets love me and I show them how much I love them by taking care of them and playing with them as often as possible. I'm not too worried about Jazz. She's a big girl and can take care of herself. I want to find her though. I don't know what I would do if Troy suddenly dies because he can't bare to go on without his brother. I think I would break down and not go out in public for about a week and only eat raman noodles straight out of the package--raw. I would be in such a deep depression that I wouldn't know where I was. I miss Dexter. Dexter, my baby, I hope you are well in Rat Heaven and are enjoying every bit of crackers and cheese that is offered to you. Watch out for your brother when it is his turn. I love you.

So, how is life. Great.

I've had a pretty weird day today. It's been great, but kind of out of the ordinary for me. I got hit on by a customer at work, talked dirty to on the internet by a stranger (not so great, but it is out of the ordinary), asked out by an old friend, asked to be a roomate by an old co-worker guy, got into a great debating-the-contradictory conversation with a stranger on the internet (but now a friend), found a new band that's great (Blue October), and free refill of soda at RaceTrac--again! To top it off, Beauty and the Geek 2 is on tonight! YIPEE!!! I'm having such a great day! I hope it doesn't switch back to the normal too soon.

Dude. I have found the best music since.....well, I don't know what, but they KICK ASS! The American Tragedy. They are awesome! I saw them at a local venue Saturday night and then the next night, my posse and I drove 2 and a half hours south to see them again. They are really awesome. This Saturday we're driving 3 hours to the other coast just to see them again....we're groupies!!! LOL Anyway, they are really awesome. I know it's not even Thanksgiving time yet, but I can not wait until the holiday season! Firstly, Craig comes home! I miss him so much and it will be so nice to see him again, even though it has only been about 3 weeks since we've seen one another. I miss him so much! Secondly, the holidays always make for a special time of the year. Most people forget all of their problems in their lives and help those in need. I have never been one to volunteer my time over the holidays, but maybe this year I will work in a soup kitchen or something. Anything to help those in need. My Georgia trip was very fun! No complications this time. I'm happy. My friend and I had a hell of a time! We took some new pics of places and each other, so one day they will be up here. It was so nice to see my boyfriend again. I love him so much! I didn't want to leave again, but I had to. I can't wait until Christmas! I'll have him all to myself! Man Oh Man! Driving 440 miles is a lot of work! I don't know how truck drivers can do it! Yes, I just got back from my trip to Georgia and boy am I tired! I blew 2 tires getting there, but it was worth the trouble. Believe me, I didn't want to leave. I had such a great time! I miss my boyfriend so much, but I'll be able to see him in another 3-4 months, depending on how much longer his training is. He should be done by Christmas. It was so nice to be held in his arms again and forget all of the trouble that we had a few short months ago. Everything from then is in the past and we are both trying to keep things together--forever! Our future is looking pretty good.

So, my boyfriend is in the Army. Right now he is stationed at Ft. Benning in Georgia. I have not seen him in 5 months and we are both missing each other so much! This weekend I am driving 437 miles from central Florida to west Georgia just to see him for 2 days! I can not wait! The only thing that I am dreading is the ride up there. I hate driving, especially by myself, but I must do it! It's a 7 and-a-half hour drive. Holy Cow! I hope my car can make it....that's my biggest concern! It's not like it's an old car, it just isn't taken care of like it needs to be half the time.

Oh My F*c*ing GOD! What in the hell is the deal with gas prices!? Word on the street is that prices will increase anywhere between thirty cents and one dollar in the next week!! HOLY COW!!! For people in central Florida, such as myself, that's over $3 per gallon! That's more than milk at this point! What is this world coming to!!!?? I think it's about time that all of the vehicles finally be switched to hydro or solar energy. There is no better time then now. We all know that they have the technology, it's just that the Government doesn't want us to save money. If the Government doesn't get anything from it, we all lose. Minimum wage (in Florida, not sure about the rest of the nation) went up this past June because of one of the things that we voted on in November. I was happy because that meant that there was more money to be made. Unfortuanately that means that it all goes to gas now! SON OF A BITCH!!! Why do prices always have to go up! Money is tight for me as it is, now I have to worry about keeping my car in stock!

Wow. Lots of news.

My friend recently moved back to town from Colorado and his girlfreind/significant other came down Tuesday night. The unfortunate thing is that she did not make it to his house that night. She was involved in a horrible car accident and did not make it. It has been really hard for him because he really loved her. I have done everything in my power to help him through this unfortunate time. He is, thankfully, doing a lot better. All we can do is tell him that it was not his fault and no one could have ever seen it coming. The pain will recede and everything will be normal again. Her funeral is this Saturday.

And now for some exciting news: WARPED TOUR IS TOMORROW!!!! Well, it is for my area anyway. It is going to be so kick-ass! It's just the thing to get our mind off of our loss. I can not wait to see My Chemical Romance! They are so awesome! And of course The Offspring! ROCK ON!!!

Also, my boyfriend/significant other has been away in the ARMY for the past 2 months. I have not heard from him since he left. Good news: He finallly called!!! I was so happy! I can not wait to see him in November!

Last night I went and saw the movie The Island with Scarlett Johanson and Ewan McGregor. It was so awesome!! There are a million great action/chase scenes and there is an unbelievable plot! The camera shots are pretty crazy too. Some of the scenes are meant to look really hot, like in the movie Pitch Black with Vin Diesel, and they do a good job at it. Man, I had the worst dream! I am a manager at Blockbuster Video in real life. In my dream, it was closing time and we had just straightened the whole store and it was looking good. We were just about to walk out the door when I saw people walking around the store. I politely told them that we were closing and they will have to come back in the morning. Some understood, but most ignored me and kept looking around. Whenever one person would leave, two more would enter! I kept telling them to leave politely, but they would not listen to me! One guy even drove his Miata right through the opened front door! Another guy was drunk and wouldn't even listen to me. He just kept saying "I need this movie". My clerk started cashing people out, which was wrong, because one, there was no drawer, and two, it just made people want to keep standing in line! I finally got fed up and tried to call 911, but none of the phones would work. There was this erie buzzing and clicking noise. I finally woke up but them remembered that I have to go to work tonight!!! I think it's time for a vacation!

Could this dream be telling me that I do need a vacation or is it that no one really listens to me regardless of my postion of authority? I really think it's both!

It's too damn hot here in Florida! Believe it or not, the cloudy days are more enjoyable than the sunny days. The less sun, the better! The rain has made for some great photo opportunities though. I will have them developed ASAP for your viewing enjoyment!

Well, I'm feeling so artsy that I painted my room! It was plain white, but I picked a color at Lowe's that brings out the artwork on my wall. It's called Aqua Joy! It just so happens that Aqua is my zodiac comfort color, so I am very at peace in my new room! I am also in the process of rearranging furniture and even building tables. I am very proad of myself! I moved in with him about 9 months ago and everything has been GREAT since. Lately he has been ignoring me and I have discovered a few things that he has been doing that are illegal and that he was not telling me about which is not like him. One thing has led to another and he wants me to move back in with my parents for 2 weeks so that he can have some space and think about what he wants to do about us. I'm really upset that he wants me to do this, but I really want things to work so I will stand by my true love. Call me crazy, but I still love him. I always have and will. So, to make a long story even shorter, this is probably the time when I will write a lot of poems. Keep an eye out!

Anybody see any good movies lately? I watched Cold Mountain the other night. It was very good. It was confusing in some places, but there was a lot of great acting all around.

Out of the 16 guinea pig babies that were born at my house, I only have one left. My mother cat decided it was time to teach her babies how to hunt and she decided to use my pets as deminstrations. I almost killed her!!!!!! She even killed one of the adults! Thats when I stuck her in a cage and said "HAHAHAHAHA!"

Well, someday I will be home long enough to battle with the slowness of my dial-up internet, so until then, enjoy my stuff....

After work that night: How about that! I actually have some time to get online!!! I hope everybody enjoys my new postings!!!

All of my guinea pigs have had babies and the grand total is 16 little piggies! I have never seen so many piggies! There is one that is half hairless (it's a new breed) and he is kind of ugly so I named him Smeegle. I hope he grows into his ears. There is another that has a black head with a white body, but there is black splotching throughout. They all have their own cuteness to them. One of my rabbits also had babies. She had 4 little cuties, all healthy as can be. I will take pictures of all my new babies (hopefully tomorrow) and post them ASAP!

Well, my guinea piggies are at it again.....
I just had 3 of my females burst! Not literally...they had babies! Right now I have 11 buggers running around the yard making all kinds of oinking noises! There are still 2 other mothers on the way! What am I going to do?
ANSWER: Take baby pictures of course! Look for the postings soon!

Other good news: my ex and I are back together....so happy!!!!!
