Hi kiddos! How're you? I'm swamped with work - I am totally going to fail soph year ass first if I don't hit the books and now. So I will be considerably slow in the next month or so - but hey, I said I'd come back and I did, if you need proof that I keep my promises. :> I'm just trying to adhere to a better standard or quality for my gallery. Unlike SOME PEOPLE (coughcoughthismeansyouedenfrancesaless) I can't crank out awesome on a daily basis. :u What little win I do produce takes time.

in other news it is time for xtreem charactur ov3rhaul. i'm tired of stupid, worthless sue elements and I need to cleanse each and every one of my characters of them. Some have been radically altered and some axed altogether. I want to provide original stuff - so the crap gets cut. So look for redesigns and a new character or two coming soon. 8O

*NavyBlueSapphire really wants me to write so i might dip my toe into those waters once more although i sincerely doubt my ability to produce something readable. but hell i'll give it a shot huh? i love toying with character and story concepts (one of which i'm working on currently based on both *NavyBlueSapphire and ~Crystal-The-Hedgehog's characters O: ) so.

Xavier Alexander Rowe

None noted; nearly universally referred to as Xavier.

Male

21 ( Date of birth: September 4th, 1987 )

5'8" (172.72 centimetres) / about 160 pounds (72.57 kilo)

Ulysses butterfly.

American/Polish (Jewish heritage.)

Medium pitched, moderately accented Brooklyn accent.

Deep purple, nearly grape in color.

His moppy locks and loose strands of his ponytails are a deep pigment of blue, moreso than his wings, which are different shades all together.

His muzzle is a mdeium gray, while his natural body is a deep charcoal.

Both arms as well as the left side of his chest and torso are heavily inked with black tribal tattoo designs. Near his wrist on his right arm reads "B - 979", a tribute to his grandfather, who was in a concentration camp. Additionally, his muzzle is noseless and his head earless - the antennae hidden in his hair serve those functions. The muzzle itself is a mdeium gray, while his natural body is a deep charcoal.

Nearly always in his two-tone seafoam/forest green scrubs, which are quite baggy, but sometimes seen lounging in black denim jeans around his apartment when alone. He almost always wears his star of David necklace, though he may hide it.

Unknown, but assumed straight.

Registered nurse and intern for the gynaecologist's office. Has a long-time goal of becoming a surgeon.

Xavier is ambidextrous and skilled with his hands - he can work with his eyes nearly closed. I don't know if you could call this a strength so much as a talent, but he can play the piano well - something he keeps to himself to relax. He's not like, Chopin or anything, he just finds music relaxing. He's also pretty smart and witty.

By contrast Xavier suffers from a multitude of flaws - lack of respect, for one. He's often made fun of and looked down upon, and because of that his temper is short and snappy, and he's become quick to judge. He has a tendancy to keep his feelings to himself, which can hurt him in the end. Because of this he is also slightly gullible, which led him into and out of a relationship that once hurt him pretty deeply. The size of his wings are also an inconvience - but he can fold them and slide them behind his back so that they're not always in the way. He has no nose or ears, either - his antennae work for those purposes, another subject of teasing - not to mention the inability to eskimo kiss, and I'd imagine his hearing and sense of smell aren't all that great, with his antennae being hidden away in his hair and all.

< Personality & Quirks> Xavier is more or less the bad-boy antithesis - he's the one your mother wanted you to being home, but you never had any interest in. Spending middle school and freshman year inside a cocoon and to cope with a new body throughout the rest of high school didn't do wonders for his social life - despite the fact that Xavier is an open and friendly sort and could easily befriend people. He's rather quiet and reserved to most, though.

He's fond of nature, though he equally enjoys the urban setting in which he works and dwells, so long as he can find calm and quiet. He loves a rainy/cloudy day, especially when it's misting or dizzling lightly. He likes his job - or at least his goal, though the same can't be said nor extended to or about his coworkers. Classical music is a big plus with him - as is a certain young woman with a large black hat. ♥

Xavier came into the world the son of a scared woman - abused by her husband and fearful for her child, at a young age his mother and he escaped to live with his aunt and cousin in Queens - however he was seperated from his older brother, whom his father had legal parental rights to. He became rather distanced from most of his family afterwards. Xavier had an embarrasing childhood as most of his species do - tying dozens of shoes as a young catipillar, spending puberty in a stick cocoon, only to go into highschool as a brightly colored, five foot wide butterfly.

The obvious subject of ridicule, Xavier found himself secluded and sheltered off from the world. He'd never had many friends - aside from his cousin Luella in whom he greatly confides and loves like a sister, and speaking to Violet Moore on occasion.
