Ya dig?

But really the point of this Journal was to better organize my trade list.

I know of some of you that have asked to do a trade with me, but my memory is less than stellar and I'm not really an organized person (despite what my horoscope says).

I've got art off the balls, I just haven't had the time, or really even the will to upload shit.
I've got gifts and thank you's for several people, as well as some concept changes for Roko. (Even though I said I'd never change her) Yeahyeahyeah I know.

But fuck it. I'm eighteen. I have a meth head exboyfriend. Shit happens, things change.
On that aspect, and the point of the journal:

He's not getting any better. nor do I think he will any time soon for that matter. He got upset that I left him, so he upped it all to the extreme. Depression, maybe, but more out of hopelessness than anything else I think. Before I was at this stage where I wanted to help him, but knew I couldn't do anything to stop it, and now, it's to the point where I just couldn't care anymore.
I mean don't get me wrong I love the boy to death, but things have definitely changed between us, and I just don't think we'll ever have that level of trust like we used to.
And OH.
Don't misconstrue this to think that I'm back with him. I'm not, this is just me saying the likliness of us ever getting back together is slim to none. Which, yeah, I guess sucks in a way, but at the same time, what can you do?

I obviously wasn't enough to convince him that meth is just a wee bit past waay too fucked up for my taste, and his continued use of it isn't helping me change my mind any.
I guess really all I can do for the boy is hope and pray that one day he comes to his senses, or that oneday he can meet someone that can A.) keep up with him and his habits, or B.) have such an effect on him that he'll change.
Because that person sure as hell isn't me.

On a lighter note:
I'm getting a job at a local movie theatre. Not so great a job, or pay, I know. But the economy being what it is, I'll do just about anything if it involves a paycheck.

...Even though in someway I can't stint the feeling that I just sold my soul to a polo shirt and khaki pants. D:

Okay guys, long story short:

I've recently discoved the gradual loss of the boy and I's funds is not because the economy blows my balls off, but because he's got a meth addiciton.

And he's got it bad.
Guys.
He's little already.
He's 6'4 and BARELY 145. And he's dropping weight like crazy.
I love the boy, but I don't think I can handle ignoring this. Not THIS.
I'm prfectly okay lighting it up on occassion, and I'll babysit him when he trips his motherfuckin' balls off, but this isn't FUN. This isn't a game, or a social drug. This is SERIOUS SHIT.
He's bi-polar already, God knows I'm not going to be the one to step inbetween him and this. I know what meth does to people, I don't want him going through that mess. I don't want to see him hurting so bad...I mean DAMN.

I don't know what to do, honestly.
I can't pay for rehab, and we've just lost our fucking apartment.
I'm a full time student, and I'm unemployed. My car needs a tag, and I have no damned insurance, so it's not like I even have that as a fall back for anything.

As much as I hate doing this, I'm going to have to cancel (for the time being) on the commissions I've asked for. I just simply. can't. Afford it right now.

I'll let you guys know if anything changes, just...to whatever God or being or deity you guys believe in, keep him in your prayers.

Hi Deviant Art.
I know I've been on and off and on again at least three times, but, I'm fairly certain I'll be staying active now.

I've started College and am basically running on my own time, so I should be able to handle this website a bit better than I have been the past- God, year?

I WILL NOT,however, be uploading all the stuff I've done from my hiatus 'till now. Because even though I may have more time now than before, I don't have THAT much time. I'm working on my degree in Zoology, paying for class and basically funding myself on my own at this point, So I'll be juggling quite a few things.

Now that i've gotten it fixed--along with my scanner, I thought i'd pay this place a visit.
I do Say i miss it a great deal, the people included.
Without a doubt Deviant Art has been my main source of improvement since I joined here, and i'm contemplating as to whether or not i should start uploading here again.

The only thing is:
I can't figure out how to clear out my gallery.
If I do start to post here again, I don't want to embarass myself by having people look at some of the utter garbage i threw out as 'art'.

Does anyone know how to do this?
I'd be greatly obliged if someone could give me a little heads up.

Same thing with clearing my message centre.
I keep clicking the 'remove all messages' option, but..nothing's working.
And frankly, I am rrrreallly not looking forward to having to go and manually delete 8,000+ messages.

if i'm to do that I might as well open a new a ccount.
...Which by the way i'm not that interested in either, lol.

Hrm.

My laptop doesn't support this version of DA, and therefore it leaves me unable to favorite, or full view any piece of art, submit art, remove things from my gallery, edit my information, and things that follow the basis of DA maintenance.

So i'm here telling you that i have permanently moved to VCL, and I upload there a great deal more regularly than i did here, and my progress is much more able to bee seen in my VCL galleries due to this fact.

If you still want to keep in touch with me, i'll be here to check deviations and comment and such, but no art is going to be submitted to DA from here on out.

And i would grealty appreciate it if you would check them out, so you can see that I haven't been completely cutting off from the art world, and that I am actually improving.

And with this statement I am also telling you that all images in my gallery are officially, OLD representations of how i draw, especially the ones towards the middle and back, lol.

MY DOG JUST HAD HER PUPPIES?!!!!

... well, actually she had them on the third, but i havent had tiem to tell you. xP

BUT YEAH!!! SHE HAD HER BABIES!!!!!

A WHOPPING TOTAL OF EIGHT PUPS!

and guess how many are boys? SEVEN. there's only one little girl.

so yes, for those of you who are interested they are Half Australian Shepherd and a quarter of rottweiler and a quarter of beagle. ther mother was the rottie beagle mix.

the father is AKC registered, and has won several championships in minor shows.. so, they're royalty you could say.
All of them are black with the exception of two silver sable puppies, and they all have white chests and white feet. xDD
some even have white chins!! ***dies***

but um.. yes.. onto the contest. It is nearing the puppies 1 week birthday, and they dont have their names yet.. my mother IS infact letting me keep one, but we need to name him, as well as the others. SOOOO...

1. I have a photographic memory..sadly, this plays no affect in my artistic skills. xP

2. Throughout my life I have had roughly 12 different hair colors.

3. I am completely ANTI-FUR, and am an active member in Pita. <3

4. I have a total of 31 pets. 4 dogs, 4 horses, 2 rabbits, 2 guinea pigs, 16 goats and a cat. (my aunt breeds the goats, and NO they dont live at my house.)

5. I am strongly attracted to tattoos and facial piercings. (with the exception of nose rings. xP)

6. I love musicals...I dont know why, I just do.

7. IRL, I am NOT a very social person. I like to keep to myself rather than be in a crowd of people.

8. I play bass clarinet in a high school marching band.

10. I am a video game JUNKIE. Any game, anywhere, against anyone. Im even better than my 23 year old brother. xDD

And that means the Macys DAy parade as well, Which the Kennesaw Mountain Highschool amrching band shall be participating in.
For those fo you who dont know, I am a member of this program, and shall be in Ney York for the whole week of Thanksgiving, and will be unable to communicate with all my lovelies. Just thoguht i would give you a heads up.

but on a lighter note, the MAcy's day parade will be aired on National television by NBC, and you all can watch the seven selected highschool bands out of the natino perform.
I believe, (thoguh i could be wrong) that we will be performing second to last, around 10:00 a.m. ( the air timer, not actual performance.)

well, my fursona search is over for the time being.
Roko is fitting me quite well at the moment, and if changes are to come, the'll be minor...

BUT, that';s not the point of this journal. I have recently gotten an account for VCL, and am ahving trouble deciphering what should be the definition between my VCL gallery, and my DA gallery...

So my conclusion is as follows: My VCL account will be used for anthro and giftart, and maybe an occasional personel piece.

Ive been kinda out of it, bored with myself I guess..but more dissapointed than anything else.

The other day I was browsing through people sites on DA by looking through peoples favs, and it really kinda put me down to see all these people who are just so damn amazing at art. ANd then I look abck at my..horribly drawn, and not so much improved gallery, and I jsut want to punch the screen.
So many more people are better than me..but this is why I feel so stupid.
I KNOW there will always be someone better than me. ALways. I KNOW there will always be someone thats worse than me. But's it's still disheartening to see something so astounding and inspiring it drives you to create something..and then you cant, because of lack of skill.

This happens to me All the time...And lately it's re-occuring a lot more than usual.
It has also occured to me, that all i can draw are horses, wolves, dogs or other quad animals. I possess no other skill in any other genre whatsoever. Not anime, not realism, not landscapes. Nothing. Just two dimensional dogs.
And you know what makes that worse? I have no sense of perspective. meaning, all i draw are side views. I cant for the life of me draw an interesting perspective Like a dog laying on it's back, or a frontward facing picture. I cant. It just doesnt happen. Another painful factor is that i cant color. Nope. I cant. Flat color guys..that's all i can do. I have tried fur texture, but it doesnt work for me. I ahve asked numerous big name artists like ~huskie, *Maned-Husky and many others how they color, and if they ahd any tips. And despite their wonderful advice, I still cant do it.

And it pisses me off.
Also, I am not exactly feeling my design anymore..I ahve changed recently..some for good things, others not so much. And as much as i adore the old roko..I just..dont feel connected anymore. I ahve also gotten a few more piercings, in wich will be added..and maybe a little more variety. I just dont know..
So be prepared for some concept art guys..and lots of it until this whole thing clears up.

Im like...sooo excitefied!
AND I ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT IM DOING!!!!! YAY! Im going to the tocoa fest concert where a girl I went to church camp with is having a concert. She is like, truly truly amazing, and we became great friends over the two weeks. Her voice is the greatest I have ever heard, and now, she has made a name for herself. Krystal Myers everyone. GO CHECK HER OUT> SHE IS TOTTALLY AMAZING. she is a christioan rocker, one of a kind. she is the sweetest and msot caring person ever, and im excited to see her again, and congradualte her on her big debut.

but yes, MY BIRTHDAY IS TOMMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well anyways. It has just been brought to my attention by some annoying little fuck of whom I shall not name, that my fursona's facial markings are quite similar to that of , and that I quote unquote "stole" my color choices from , and that I also "stole" the whole under-eye markings from my fer-fucking-ever ago ref sheet from :iconbloodhoundOmega:.

OMG like WTF? this, to an extent, didnt bother me when I had gotten an email from this little child, saying theses things about my fursona.

But when I get FOUR damn emails, stating the EXACT same thing, from the EXACT same person, it pisses me off. So, for those of you who like to nitpick at similarities in design, heres my fucking explanation.

ONE: yes, akita and rokosamii both have eye socket/covering things that are a different color from there actual mask. But the masks themselves, are different.
Akita's mask goes from the corner of her eye pip/cup thing to the side of her face and stops, as in example, here: [link]

Now in Rokosamii's mask, the blue extends around the eye/pip/socket thing, and continues into the neck fur, as in here: [link] also has white eye pips as where Akita has none.

Now for the colors. THERE ARE LOTS OF DAMN BLUE AND BLACK DOGS OUT THERE YOU FUCKTARD!!!!!! Just cause roko is one of them doesnt autofuckingmatically mean that I stole it from Sabarika mkay? So besides my colors, what else is similar about roko to Sabarika hrm? OTHER THAN THE FACT THEY'RE BOTH GIRLS?!!! you gonna tell me I stole my gender from her too?! gah! and just ta show you, here is a list of blue dog artsists.

Okay, folks. Here's the deal.

By now, you've heard that Scott Jarkoff, aka °jark, is now a FORMER Staff Member.

I'm not privy to the whys, wherefores, and whatever-the-hells are going on behind the scenes here. Don't ask me anything about that. I know probably just as much as you do.

deviantArt, in my opinion, is becoming less about COMMUNITY and more about CORPORATION.

So what we need to do is bring back THE COMMUNITY.

Here's my suggestion.

On August 7th, dA turns five years old. Five years for a website like this should be a grand affair, one big event.

So don't submit anything on August 7th.

I'm talking a print, a deviation, a scrap...nothing.

Instead, just leave a comment. Visit a user's page and just say hi.

If someone wants to buy a subscription that day, I'm all in favor or it. It'll keep the servers going, and anything that keeps the hamster running is a good thing.

BUT...I think folks shouldn't buy any prints. No print subscriptions. That goes against the COMMUNITY theme for the day.

We want to put the COMMUNITY back into DA.

If you're in favor of this, if you believe in the power this COMMUNITY has, then join me. Post this in your own journal. Spread the word to everyone, with a and a .

We might be touting at windmills like Don Quixote.

But if enough of us do it, we might be able to remind everyone that this is a COMMUNITY first and foremost.

It is exactly ONE month till my 15th birthday!!!

I dun know exactly what im gonig to do as of yet..but im still superuberfluff excited nonetheless. XD

AAAAANDDD I have a scanner now!!!!!
not a good one mind you, but one nonetheless. XD
soo, i am going to upload my deviations in the order i drew them. so that meaning:

THE FIRST FEW DEVIATIONS WILL BE MUCH SUCKIER THAN MY CURRENT TALENT SO NOT JUDGE BY THOSE FEW I CHOOSE TO UPLOAD.

Also, to help you understand this, i will be posting a very large STOP: ALL DEVIATIONS BEYOND THIS POINT ARE FROM A LONG ABSENCED INTERVAL AND ARE NOT CURRENTLY UP TO DATE WITH ALL NEW ART IN THIS GALLERY deviation, just so you guys know.
Also, I am aware that the gift art for whom people I have drawn for such as Makime and Akita, have their older forms. Once again, they were drawn when those forms were in use. So no one tell me "oh, well they dont look like that anymore" because I promise you, I am well aware.
