                <description><![CDATA[ The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.  Cicero<br /><br />Never in all my 27 years have I been able to find a quote that could sum up all I felt of our increasingly inept and traitorous government.  And the more I study the Roman government the more I am of the opinion we need to get something like thier model, where the politicians weren't paid but actually had to work.  The House of Represenatives and Senate should no longer be paid but required to either draw money from landed estates like the Roman Senate or some other means.  But then again the bureaucracy gives no regard to the citizen anymore.<br /><br /> ]]></description>
