Feature Update!
I went to the China Festival of Lights with my boyfriend a few days ago. The festival was held for the first time here and it included over thirthy light sculptures of animals, plants and insects. Here are some photo's:

The Summer Darkness festival was this weekend and I had a really great time! ^^ I've been wanting to go for 4 years or so, and this time I actually had someone to drag along with me P: I've finally seen one of my favourite bands (which I have been waiting for for those 4 years I mentioned earlier) and some other ones I really like too.
My boyfriend entertained himself by taking photographs of other visitors, which turned out pretty nice imo. He has some uploaded on deviantART and a bunch of others on his website ([link]).

Even though I'm still trying to recover from the being-tired-all-the-time thing, this is turning out to be a rather nice summer vacation ^^ I'm living with my boyfriend for 3 weeks, there's a nice concert and festival coming and I'm spending my days playing Harvest Moon. The GBA version, which has pretty nice pixel art that could really inspire me to do some myself, if the game wasn't so bloody addictive xD

I've been rather inactive again lately o.o
Mostly because we're doing this project for school (first building a website, now programming a game), which together with my other classes is taking quite a lot of time. Plus I've been feeling a bit ill and rather tired for months now, so I'm not really in the mood to be more active..
BUT I am the one doing the graphics part for the game we have to make, so you might just see some of that stuff soon ^^

Life is actually rather good these days (:

I seem to have refound some of my inspiration, which for a large part is thanks too this wonderful person I met a few months ago <3 (~MetalLuilak, he now has a dA too!) He's very supportive and that's kinda what I need to stay motived I guess ^^

On another hand, it's the busy period at school again, meaning I have to hand in assignments every week, which is rather stressful.. But I actually got the feeling it'll all work out fine ^^ and if I keep it up like this, I still got time to do some art.

And I'm really looking forward to this weekend! Indoor picknicking on saturday and a trip to the zoo on sunday!

Time for another semi-annual update! o.O
Really, I need to be more active here.. Which will hopefully happen, seeing as summer vacation is only two presentations away. Yay! (for summer vacation that is, no yay for presentations -.-))

In other news, I've seen Sonata Arctica live again =D and I'll be getting tickets for their show in November on Monday! ^^
Now if only certain other bands would bother to come to the Netherlands..

Art stuff
~ruruken actually managed to inspire me enough to do some pixel art again, which, unfortunatly, doesn't happen all that much these days ^^;
But now that I'm back in the mood, I've got some ideas that I'd like to try out. It'll mostly be some smaller pixels, because I'm not really happy with my 'old style'. It's gonna take some practising though x3
