I just always look down the titles of my journal entries and think "what the fudge..."

I now have to recount about Andrew and the kitchen.

Im in the kitchen making a hot water bottle, he comes in brushes his placemat off. Goes to put it back. Gets a drink. Says "hmm, hot water bottle." I nod in agreement although... y'know, its a bit of an obvious thing for him to say. You know, I think he thinks that I think he is weird or something. Ah well.

I'm having my b/f over today, so that should cheer me up (:

& By the way, I think I want to be a comic book artist when I grow up. It just... appeals to me. Greatly. I LOVE creating characters, plots ... I could work on plots a lot more, but comics don't involve an awful lot of writing. They involve choice words which get the point across... in as little space as possible. Vibrant fun action filled pics... but then again, I would also have to work on my backgrounds.

I mean like, hero-villain comics, not funny comics. Although they probably will be a bit funny sometimes.

What do you think? I don't know whether I should put it up here or not, or on like a freewebs site or something... thoughts, please?

REALLY annoys me when people call multiple personality disorder Schizophrenia. IT IS NOT SCHIZOPHRENIA.

I will now proceed to distinguish between the two -

- Schizophrenia is is a psychiatric diagnosis that describes a mental illness characterized by impairments in the perception or expression of reality, most commonly manifesting as auditory hallucinations, paranoid or bizarre delusions or disorganized speech and thinking in the context of significant social or occupational dysfunction. Onset of symptoms typically occurs in young adulthood.

Basically ITS THE ONE WHERE THEY HEAR VOICES IN THEIR HEADS. THESE VOICES ARE USUALLY TRYING TO PLOT AGAINST THEM, MAKE THEM DO BAD THINGS OR ARE TELLING THE AFFLICTED PERSON THAT THEY'RE GOING TO COME AND KILL THEM.

I do thank wikipedia for that the first paragraph on Schizophrenia (:

- Multiple personality disorder is a psychiatric diagnosis that describes a mental illness in which a single person displays multiple distinct identities or personalities, each with its own pattern of perceiving and interacting with the environment. The diagnosis requires that at least two personalities routinely take control of the individual's behavior with an associated memory loss that goes beyond normal forgetfulness; in addition, symptoms can not be due to substance abuse or medical condition. Earlier versions of DID were named the condition multiple personality disorder (MPD).
They call it DID these days (Dissociative Identity Disorder)

It does say in the page about Schizophrenia that the two can often be confused in popular culture but I think someone really needs to clear this up... its like disability, you'll always get kids says "err, spaz" or "err, retard" but people shouldn't joke about those things. The people who really are retarded can't help it and have to live with the fact that their IQ is really really low, infact they probably can't comprehend the fact that it is. The people who have regular seizures (spastic attacks or whatever) have to live with that. Seizures are a symptom of many serious illnesses. :/

And its the same with Schizophrenia and DID. They're serious mental illnesses. People shouldn't offhandedly refer to them or 'claim' that they are afflicted with it. If they really have been, they wouldn't go round blabbing it to all the world. They'd have been diagnosed properly by a doctor.

Sorry I just really needed to rant about that today. >_<

Every single day I wish I could hold my Twiggy, but he's not there to hold. I want him on my lap, the dog as a substitute isn't quite the same, heh... I regret after we got the dog I didn't spend as much time with him - she was a pup and ... I don't know... I feel guilty for it. He might have been roaming around the house most of the time but ... :/ eh, I miss him, basically. Him in his physical form - and his spiritual form has yet to pay me a visit! I think he must be busy doing whatever cat spirits do in the spiritworld

So just... treat them like best friends. Pets and animals (when they trust you) love you no matter what happens.

But yeah I'm gonna try to do one of them art progress sheets where you take a couple of your drawings and put them on the thing... to see how much you've improved... the only problem with that is the reason a lot of people don't do it is because they haven't always drawn the same person all the way t hrough - be it an original character or fanart of a certain canon character from some fandom they love.

I think I might be able to do it with Roselle, but I'm not sure. I'll see. The other problem is that there might not be dates on the work - I would have to estimate. But I think the results when I eventually do this will be astounding. Thats what I hope, anyway.

And... for a little while, it was possibly when I started High School, I sort of... lost my interest in it. How this happened, after a year of being an avid fan, I do not know; I used to keenly search for fansites, forums, the music... I bought the official cast soundtrack recording CD for myself and the 2-Disc DVD Movie. I would have bought a poster of it, a calendar, had I been able to find them.

And for 2 years everytime I watched that movie after buying it and seeing it at the cinema, I must have not been paying attention to it, or was occupied with other things, or simply did not want to have an interest - it never moved me, never touched me emotionally, all those times I watched it after my obsession had died away and I forgot how much I had loved the fandom.

And I watched it last night, and continued it this morning, and my god. I cried again, fully, at all the sad parts I have never cried at, and I finally realize; it is my one true fandom, and I'll never let my love for it die again. I love the music, the casting, the characters - even the old versions.

I think what I must do now is buy the actual orgininal novel by Gaston Leroux (see, I still remember all the names and stuff :3 Sarah Brightman, anyone? Michael Crawford? They are the two most famous names of it. And of course, no one could forget Andrew Lloyd Webber, but he's just... scary. xD)

So, that is the story of my one true fandom and me. Of course there's all the others, but this one just gets to me every time, it seems, in one way or another, and never really died, no matter how much I think of it or try to assume that it did, it didn't. Not really.

Well today was ... okay.

Daisy is annoying me. She's still taking credit for everything funny I do, just copying it over and over again, so no one finds me funny anymore. I still want to be her friend because well, its a stupid thing to fight over and not be friends anymore,
But seriously. Anyway thats not really an issue, I can just ignore her and its okay. I think she detects something, and frankly I think its a good thing. She might get the message without me having to say a thing.

Lizzie got upset today. It was her birthday yesterday, and well today (I know I shouldn't have said it while she was near) but I said 'Lizzie still thinks its her birthday' (because well, she was walking about the place like thinking everyone was going to give her the special treatment still, which really makes me feel sick. The party wasn't even all that brilliant,) And she got upset about that and a few other things, but I think my comment, although it wasn't all that harsh, was sort of the straw that broke the camel's back.

The party was... alright. Lizzie's little brother Charlie had himself attached to my legs in a hug-kind-of-thing for half the time, her mum commented that I'd be a good babysitter. Uhh... yeah. Right. Kay. Bye.

We had lasagne, it wasn't too appetizing but I ate some, then politely pushed it away with the excuse 'I'm not very hungry'. Later I had more fun racing against Charlie on Burnout Revenge on his PS2 than playing makeovers with Daisy and Lizzie. Something wrong with me? I think NOT. XD I really do not care about having a makeover, thanks. Beautiful idea, but just no. Not my thing.

Lizzie wouldn't stop swearing all day. Pfftt. Yeah. I thought growing up was about growing up (its optional, of course, but generally I don't hear adults swear all that much, not with f**k in the middle of every single word)

So yes that is my rant of the day.

Though I might want to keep on good terms with them both so I have someone to go into town with at the weekend (dont want to pass up my first chance to buy H.I.M's new album Venus Doom x3)

Other news, my cat Twig died yesterday. He was hit by a car and someone on the street found him. Some other people who knew that he belonged to us, brought him over and mum put him on his cushion. Just looked like he was sleeping, really.

I'm at my dads at the moment and was when I found out last night. But we're going over to see him and my mum's having the body cremated. Her boyfriend Craig thought that he should bury Twig in the field near his house, next to his favourite Rottweiler Billy. I thought that was quite thoughtful. (Well, really thoughtful, apart from the fact that I wanted Twig cremated and he will be.)

I'm enjoying the summer holidays. Well, attempting to. I hate them. I get no contact from the outside world (partly my fault - I push away most social gatherings offers and want to relax during my holidays; in my opinion the summer is what I earned sticking up for myself and working hard and making sure that no one else gets shit from anyone else. And besides, I have to put up with everyone at school for nearly a whole year, so the summer is my break away from all that - its not my fault if they want to see me. I'm just... what, irresistable? xD HA.)

As I was saying - I get no contact from the outside world, so my social life is invisible, and I just worry and dread about going back to school - some people I don't know if I'll act the same, going back, thinking what they've done - will I just turn round and smack them in the face with a whole new look on them? For what they've done? And what I didn't bother them about before, but now its taken time and finally weaselled its way inside my head?

And so its hard for me to enjoy them, because I don't relax. I'm just tense about, thinking constantly about, how much time I've got left, how much time I've wasted doing nothing special except a few measley doodles, and a bit of laundry. How is that for 'achievements'?

Aside from that little rant, I've completed watching Series 4 of 'The Tribe' for the ... what, 3rd time? 2 times since I bought the complete DVD set for for 2006 Christmas.

And I saw a Painted Lady butterfly hatch. How awesome is that? How many people do you know who have done that? It might have been in a somewhat 'artificial' environment, but who cares? I saw it. Ace. Probably a once in a lifetime experience. It might have been forced, but it happened. :] Its good enough for me.

So last night turned out to be a complete waste of time for me - but lets start out with who was there.

Joe McDonald, hes friendly and sometimes jokey in a way that y'might take the wrong way but =] generally all round nice person.

Dan Akam, lol hes just a laugh. xD his whole life is.

Daisy Hughes, best friend. Hostess.

Alice Sanderson, another good friend. =] she has a lot of problems in life herself but shes always willing to talk about her problems and tells me if someone says something about me or whatnot.

Me... and then

Christian Thelier. I have special feelings =] Daisy knew this. And she also knew I've liked him the whole year.

Clear off now if you don't want a stupid rant about some boy and your best friend.

Its always really nasty when your crush goes off with someone else, bad when its your enemy, but its the worst when its your -best friend-. She said 'I'm sorry' and 'I didn't think' but I don't think she really was bothered. She's just lucky I'm the friend that forgives, forgets and moves on. Almost. I couldn't forget a thing like this - I've seen her doing it to other people, snatching away the people they desire first, making them jealous and generally hate her. I don't know why shes done it. And I didn't want to forgive her, just to make her learn her lesson. Because hey, once she's been forgiven, she knows everythings alright and she can be free to go and do it again. Maybe the same person, maybe different. I didn't ever think she'd do it to me but she did, and I'm surprised. For her supposed 'best friend' my feelings sure don't seem to matter that much to her.

But what could I do? I couldn't very well just leave her there in the dark - friends forgive. And I am a very forgiving person. Within 3 hours of confronting her about it I'd already forgiven her and left. But I'd been close to crying about it all night, about 14 times. It was quite an opportunity at one point because we watched a sad film =]

One of the worst things that happened was finding out that he obviously likes her. That wrecks me up.

And I bet everybody (bar Joe and Dan - they were asleep for most of this) thinks I'm a real bitch for 'ruining' the party. Well I didn't have such a dandy time myself thanks, - seeing those two holding hands and stroking each others arms and hair, looking into each others eyes and just snuggling up. It wasn't serious stuff that would have made me crack, but I knew very early on in the party that even though Daisy had said she was over him, she clearly wasn't.

And then I realized, maybe all the time she'd been pretending to help me with him... (because she just does stuff like that) had been maybe a ruse to get him for herself? So I feel used, just an excuse.

And in all this no one cares how I feel, really. Thats how I see it. And Christian's no doubt on Daisy's side. I dont' even want to know what will happen when I'm not around, between those two. I don't hate her but I don't agree with what she's done. Next time something like this happens, and I don't care if its to someone else, I'll absolutely wipe the floor with her - because its not fair and its not right. She should wait her turn - she had hers and it passed, so instead she took mine, because maybe we 'share everything'? If thats what she thought, fine. I still feel overly used.

So I didn't sleep all night and it was the only thing I thought about. Near the end of the night they made it more clear, which was worse because it got light about 3/4.

Anyway. Now you've all heard that story. And yes, I really DID have no sleep at all. Its... not good. Don't ever try it.

My best friend Daisy... thats the problem. She... I don't know. Takes credit for things I do? Like, uses all my jokes, says stuff I say... talks to people I want to talk to ... when I just want to talk to them, not her also... I don't know maybe she thinks I don't mind but sometimes its nice when shes not there. Not that I don't love her lots and lots but maybe I've given her the wrong impression;

We do most stuff together and have lots of lafflaffs and gigguls =3 its fun and thats what makes her my best friend, and I can tell her anything and we just tell each other anything and cheer each other up when we're down or upset and we can call each other names and we know we're both just joking lol we are such drama queens to be honest.

But sometimes I just wish, maybe, that she would learn a bit about personal space, y'know? She does have this air about her as well, that like, say if I was talking to some people, if she came along, they would ALL turn their attention to her. :/ It makes me feel quite left out when she does that. Maybe she gets it from me, I don't know?

Jealous. Naww. Just guilty with myself for thinking these things. :/

i find her annoying also because shes a big attention seeker. like today, she'd made a massive daisy chain, and brought it into registration after lunch, and everyone was like 'wooww thats so coooool' - but i bet if it had been anyone else, then everyone would have been saying 'omg you're so saaaad'. pfftt. people. are. stupid. like she just always has to be the centre of attention >_<

and she just like takes everything away from me - like take three of my friends for example. Billie, Daisy, and Lizzie. 1.) billie - nat just turned her into someone shes not. billike used to be my best friend. we'd do everything together.
2.) daisy - nat took her away from me. daisy used to be one of the most original people i knew, but now shes just a sheep like all the others; a part of another 'high school stereotype'.
3.) lizzie. - nat just, again, took her away from me and just changed her from the bouncy happy girl to an 'emo' depressed girl. i just hate it >_< and she just like hangs with nat all the time now *

sure nat has had something of a 'hard life' as she calls it, but how many kids do you find nowadays that havent? its really hard to find a lucky kid who hasnt had any sort of childhood trauma - abuse, family issues, death of a relative (not counting elderly ones). but who really cares? people have enough on their plate as it is, really. but nooo everyone always has time for nat.

and the thing is i cant tell anyone how much i hate her (yes i know hate is such a strong word, but seriously, thats what i think it is) because they all love her to bits. i just have to stick it out and hope she dies xD ( no, not really. i just have to stick it out. o_O)

* the thing with lizzie that also annoys me is that for a time last year lizzie hung with me in the summer when it was warm outside. then she started going to the music block. but then, as soon as nat comes and makes friends with her, she resurfaces from the music block and goes and hangs with nat. the thing here is that lizzie never came from the music block to hang with me. never. after she'd become attached at the hip to it, that was basically it. ><
