1) What was your first Pokemon game?
Red version. ^_^

2) Can you remember who your starter was? If so, who?
Charmander. My Charizard never listened to me. ><;; Probably because I didn't quite understand the game when I was ten, so I let it faint all the time. XD

3) Did you ever complete the Pokedex in any games? Which one(s)?
Almost in Red. Everything else, not even close. XD

4) Did you watch the Pokemon anime? Who was your favourite character?
When I was younger, yes. I idolized Ash. Now I don't like him so much. I prefer James, and I like Kenta because he's based off of my favorite player character. ^_^

5) Do you still watch the anime?
I want to, but I have no time. ><;

6) What's your favourite Pokemon type? Explain.
Fire! Just becuase most of my favorites happen to be the fire type. (But my all time favorite is psychic.)

Espeon, of course. It's Sp. Atk is through the roof, and it's fast. Also, it's a cat! I loved it the moment I saw a preview for Gold and Silver in Nintendo Power magazine. <3 I would have had it on my team no matter what. I was just lucky that it happened to be a great offensive pokemon.

8) Which Pokemon do you dislike the most? Explain.
Eh... I'm not a fan of Bidoof... I just look at it and think, "What the hell?! Couldn't they come up with ANYTHING better than that?!" XD

Johto all the way! It's the first place I ever got an Espeon, I like the player character a lot, and I love the tradition Japanese feel it has. ^_^

I can't really say; I haven't watched it all.

My dad took her to the vet earlier today. They took a blood sample; they're going to analyze a few things and let us know if there's anything else that we should be worried about.

My cat needs medication twice a day now. I hate to give it to her, not because it's difficult, but because I hate to see her so unhappy. I need to force her mouth open and squirt the medication in. I have to do it so that her mouth will feel better. That's preferable to leaving her mouth as it is right now.

My poor cat. I'm going to do all I can to make sure she feels better. She's not particularly cuddly, but I'll give her all the attention she wants. I need to make sure I give her what she needs right now. Hopefully the tests will come back and tell us that it's nothing too serious...

My cat is also kind of rare. She's an orange tabby. Orange tabby cats are male 80% of the time. Female tabby cats are no where near as rare as other kinds of cats (like male calico cats), but it's notable. My cat is kind of special that way. ^_^

My cat is at least 12 years old. I found her as a stray when I was 8. My dad allowed me to take her inside when a hurricane was coming. She was supposed to stay out after that, but she would hop up on the windowsill and scratch up our screens. My dad got tired of replacing the screens, so he just allowed her to come in. We've moved three times since then, but my cat has always come with us.

My cat is part of my family, from my point of view. I wish I had known to brush her teeth earlier. I could have prevented this. I want to give her a few more happy and healthy years if I can. She's an older cat, but I hope she live longer than the average life expectancy (18-20 years). Some cats live until they're 30. I hope we get lucky with my cat.

EDIT:
Just got the tests results back. The good news: my cat doesn't have any problems that are going to kill her. the bad news: she's going to have to be on medication for the rest of her life because she has Hyperthyroidism. I'll take that over anything life threatening any day. Getting her to actually take the medication is going to be a big job, though.

Also, Espeon is based on a neko-mata, which (in Japanese folklore) aren't the most friendly creatures. They... You know... Burn down entire villages and stuff. That being said, I see Espeon as a more threatening looking pokemon that's really only friendly towards his trainer.

Anyway, I haven't seen the Pokemon anime since I was in the fifth grade. (I'm in my sophomore year of college now.) I have no idea what Espeon is generally like in the anime, but I'm betting it's nothing like my mental image of him. XD

Why do I refer to Espeon as male? Because most of them are. Finding a female Eevee isn't impossible, but it's pretty rare. Also, my Espeon is always male in whatever Pokemon game I'm playing.

Umreon, on the other hand, looks pretty much like a female to me. I guess my perception is just different than most people. XD In the Gold version, Umbreon looks a helluvalot more happy and cute than Espeon; not so much in the other versions. Umbreon kind of has curves, which in my mind looks feminine.

Bleh, I guess I just perceive those two pokemon differently from the majority of people.
