I'm back from vacation! It was fun. I just hung out with Adri all day and we just made out and stuff and I'm sure something happened in between. We ended up hanging out all weeeeeeeek and was probably the most fun I've had doing anything for a few years now lol. Anyway, I didn't get my doodle collage done and will try this weekend if I'm not too lazy to cut out all of my sketches. Aaaaaaadri kept procrastinating BAH! I'll be buying a tablet on Wednesday night and will be attempting my hand at serious comicking. >:L I got one sketch I want to upload at least one piece that was vacation inspired and I'll try to get that out by tonight.

I'm going up to Adri's for a week. We'll be putting together a coooool doodle collage together. Currently I've started to really tackle a lot of aspects to art pieces and have improved drawing, backgrounds, and stylization. Not perfect by any means, but I have really evolved from how I used to draw. My next course is to get a nice Wacom board or any drawing tablet. Then maybe I can start on drawing a comic, or some shit. A lot of my work in the past seemed to have a lot of personality and wit. But I think it was just because I had a lot of one-trick ponies. I'm going to attempt to draw a comic hoping I capture the same effect with more. And I also hope I don't give up like usual. The one thing I worry about is school. But eh. I'd like to thank anyone who has kept looking at my work for the past month or so. Your support is appreciated. Especially Wisp. A majority of this was a rushed projected so I could see what process I would have to go through to do this. Altogether, 3 days (not straight since I had school). I'm at a split between two choices now. Either work on a 3 month long video project or start a mini-series using voice actors (Probably just me and Rob). But eh.

Majority of things to fix:
-All drawings into a fit box so they maintain equal sizing.
-Find a better way to ink or don't think, how to handle sketches is hard.
-More planning instead of just jumping into it.
-Don't get this done in three days. Take my time.
-Learn to work sony vegas or download Pinnacle because I actually know how to use it.
-Making backgrounds of the same coloration?

Things gained:
-More practice, I really ended up drawing a lot of new poses and clothings and all this shit so in the end it was all a good learning experience.
-More practice with adding in backgrounds.
-More knowledge on process.
-Learned that this wasn't so hard. Just need to handle technical issues more than anything else.
-Gained speed drawing +2.

So buy a buncha fresh water and save up when you can. Also, we spend so much fucking oil on EACH person in the US. It's a ridiculous amount of which I'm too lazy to check my book. I think that's all I absorbed, but the general message of it was that we're running out of resources. Oh yeah, our land and land around most of the world, especially Australia, is becoming damaged. In fact in Australia, 70% of the land can't be used to farm. Or something crazy, I'm not paying attention to specifics lol. Not to mention the issue with pesticides and how insects are adapting quicker to each of the poisons we develop, meaning we need to develop more and more poision. Use more and more of our gas for that...

Did I mention that for the last four years we've been unable to produce enough grain per person?

Imagine if things like natural disasters, murder, fatal illness, genocide, and suicide didn't happen.
Anyway, I had a debate on suicide terrorism that was so really interesting. Not because I learned something but because the person I argued with was a dolt.

My idea is that suicide terrorism occurs for a reason. Calling it bad just simplifies it and solves nothing. And so I am willing to level with them and try to understand what it is they may want. A friend of mine mentioned it being in a way similar to monks lighting themselves aflame in protest to the Vietnam war. It's different in the fact that suicide terrorism kills innocent people a lot of times but it seems like a similar idea.

I really don't hate this guy, but he is a poor example of what you want to do if you want to write papers or debate.

Personal attacks again? You didn't explain clearly at all. "You're a cultural relativist" and you stopped short there without actually explaining and mentioning why this is a valid reason towards your argument.

"Killing is wrong" Alright, nice. But not even touched upon. You give certain examples that incite common sense but don't really explain to me anything. Ooooh man look at the holocaust are you saying that's good? Oh man take dog fighting, just because it's cultural it doesn't make it right. Those are very unclear good sir.
Also, you're just plain wrong to say that bad/good in opinion and right/wrong is factual. Both are opinion; though I think when it comes to killing it could be easily considered a fact. However, over a less obvious moral dilemma I'm sure we would easily disagree about what's right or wrong. I'm sorry but I think you're just plain wrong on that account.
Main arguement: you're just plain wrong. Reason: When it comes to killing it could be easily considered a fact. Conclusion: You're plain wrong. So in the end I just get, you're plain wrong because killing is wrong. Nice one so clear!
Also, nobody's "perfect" but that's not an excuse - you still have to hold people responsible. And usually I would agree with you; but you're witholding your judgment on something that I think is very obvious. Suicide bombing - let's detach it from a culture, cuz it's not singular to one culture. Anyway I look at it, I must come to the conclusion that it's wrong. Morality is a tricky business but when you're maliciously hurting others it becomes quite simple.
Arguement: You have to hold them responsible. Reason: You're witholding your judgement on something obvious.... when you're maliciously hurting others it's simple. Conclusion: It's simple. So basically, I have to hold them responsible because it's simple. So clear.
Also, it's a radically general statement to say that without murderers and such we wouldn't know good. Besides - what kind of argument is that? Are you saying we should tolerate the bad things in this world so we can appreciate the good? GREAT idea, let's let all the murderers do what they want so we can appreciate life.
Arguement: You're being too radical. Reason: An assumption. Conclusion: End it with sarcasm without actually proving that murders DONT redefine our ideas of what is "moral and just".
Let's quit this long, redundant format because it's really pretty simple. Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what you describe to me it sounds like you're a moral/cultural relativist; you might say that (this is completely random example, taken from recent media) "it's okay for african-americans to breed dog fighters because that is part of their culture". Maybe you wouldn't, but that's the kind of argument you're using here.
Arguement: You're a cultural relativist. Reason: You might say something is cultural and that it's okay. Conclusion: It's not okay. You're not clear whatsoever and even put words in my mouth. Assuming being culturally relative means you tolerate everything. Fantastic. <- sarcasm.
I won't agree to relativism because I find it weak minded. It doesn't matter if dog-fighting is part of your culture; it's immoral and therefore wrong to bered dogs for the sole purpose of being put in brutal fights.
So we get back to my original example. If you can spare suicide bombings of moral judgment because of the culture, and the idea that things are rarely good or bad, then if you SHOULD bestow the same treatment on the Holocaust. Do you think the holocaust was wrong? or bad? or are you not so sure?
Arguement: Relativism is weak minded. Reason: Dog-fighting is immoral and doesn't matter if it's cultural. If you spare suicide bombings of moral judgement because of the culture, and the idea that things are raely good or band, then if you SHOULD bestow the same treatment on the Holocaust. Conclusion: Ask another question that has nothing to do with original arguement.

You really convinced...

Not really sure if people read my explanations in each burn art section but eh. I BURN ART AND SO CAN YOU!!

Materials:
Lighter
Thin Black Markers
Calligraphy Marker
Pencil
Index Card or other Paper that won't ignite instantly when you light it.

Safety Materials(Not necessary but if you have preferences...):
Safety Goggles to keep the smoke from getting in your eyes
A surgeon mask to keep you from inhaling smoke
Heavy rubber Gardening Glove to smash the index card if lit on fire.

Steps:
1) Try a few test burns so you get the rythm of burning and don't accidentally burn down your house.
2) Don't burn down your house.
3) Hold index card horizontally and put the lighter below it.
4) Light away and move the card or lighter about freely. Avoid edges because they will light up very quickly. VERY.
5) When you feel like you've done enough damage, turn it over and look at it.
6) Like an Ink Blot, try to imagine an image or shape and then, with your thin black markers, lightly trace in a shape.
7) Once you have your shape use the calligraphy marker. OMG UR SUCH A GENIUS YOU MADE ONE!

Process is 10-20 minutes. Sometimes even less. Very quick and very awesome.

Tricks/Tricks:
1) You can use pencil to add emphasis to certain places by scribbling. It is your lightest color.
2) Thin Black marker can be used lie pencil but is darker.
3) Calligraphy marker just makes it look nicer but you CAN use other marker types. I did originally.
4) Brown marker might look good too, though barely noticeable.
5) You can touch up burn too if you need darker areas.
6) Don't try to make things perfect, fire is not very precise.
7) If it does light, drop it and step on it. Or cover it with a book. Just put it out.
8) Avoid touching areas with burn marks, even light ones. They tend to lose their quality very easily, another reason to avoid burning edges.
9) Smoke coming out the other side of the paper is a sign that it's burning. But don't let it burn too long.

It's very much a psychological and stress-free art style. I sometimes use it to relieve stress when I don't have enough time.

WARNING: I will not take the fall for you burning your house down. It's not hard at all, but if you're careless you will light the paper.

I want to spread this idea! Maybe one day have a burn art contest. Though right now, this is still just in its infancy.

Seems like nowadays we take medication for pretty much anything.

You're too sad.
You're too happy.
You're too angry.

This shit people take just impairs you from actually being a functioning individual. We have a wide variety of emotions and it only makes sense to have feelings. If there's something you feel that is wrong with you, change it yourself. Problems in the head should be fixed in the head and not by relying on a magical pill. This way, when you want to help out your damn kids in the future, you won't need to take them to a doctor that will tell them they have There's-Something-Wrong-With-You Syndrome. You can console the kid from experience. Lest we become a pill-popping nation.

In any case, this all came from an article about Hyperkinesis. It's about kids who are too hyper, too angry, too emotional, and the general idea is that they're being too much like a kid. So you know what? Let's give them some Ritalin. YOU ARE TOO NORMAL KID! YOU NEED TO BE MEDICATED!

The parents, and people in general, should realize these psychological diagnoses usually seem like just fancy names made to make regular feelings and habits look like something bad. If you can't handle your kid and feel like you need to give him pills, don't have anymore kids please. K thanks bai.

If you have mental problems, that doesn't make you mentally ill. Sort your shit out.
