Another week, another update. And today my laptop is exactly one year old. Apart from minor problems with video playback, it still works wonderfully. And today was report card day. It seems that all my hard work paid off...4.000GPA.

My 360 died yesterday. Died as in hardware failure. Thank god I bought the two year warranty at Best Buy. But it's going to have to go back and I'll probably get a new one unless it's just the power supply, which I hope it is. So yea, no Gears, Halo, SSX3, NFS, or Geo Wars for a little bit. I guess I'll be dusting off my old Xbox.

So last week I mentioned a quick daytime space scape I made and that I would submit it soon. I'm still going to, I just want to make a new planet because I don't like the one in it now. Also, I'm getting closer to being done with the site I'm working on. I'll take a screenie of the home page and throw it up here soon. If you've been watching me for awhile, the site name should be a familiar one.

And of course, it's Friday. Which means I'm heading up to the mountains for the weekend. Time to throw together a playlist and check Purevolume. I'm addicted. I love that site. If you haven't heard of it I strongly suggest you check it out if you like music. [link]

I love having no school some days. Like today. Anywho, not much going on. Typical life. I was just watching a show on Discovery Channel (I <3 Mythbusters ) about the Yellowstone super volcano and what might happen when it goes boom. Yea. Half the world is screwed. Okay, enough rambling in an attempt to make this longer cause I have nothing to say.

Still, I'm investing all my time into the site I'm working on. It's coming along nicely. A lot better than last week. Now that I know a lot more CSS, I'm planning to redo my journal again. Also I made a quick daytime space image while I was up at the mountains last weekend. It's basically done. I'll submit it soon.

Okay, back to my music obsession (iTunes) and Dreamweaver.

I'm typing this while up at the mountains. We got 4-5" today and I can't wait to ski tomorrow. The bad thing is no internet. Or at least I though. But there is a new unsecured wireless network around here somewhere. Yay. I'm probably being tracked everywhere I go right now but I don't care. I have nothing to hide. But just to be sure, I'm packet sniffing this network. But it's a very weak signal so I doubt I'll get this typed before I kicked off. Might as well try.

As for other stuff, this week has been extremely rough. End of the semester. Not fun. But I have been throwing all my free time into a website I'm designing. If you care see last week's update for more detail. I hope once that is done to start making stuff again. (Just got kicked off...hopefully I can reconnect...Ok good.)

Oh man what a busy two weeks. But I'm defiantly ready for my three day weekend. W00t. I think I watch to many people. I didn't check dA for four days and I have over 130 messages. 100 being deviations. Sorry I cleared something I should have left a comment on.

It sort of feels like I'm dead here. But I am working on something. A website for somewhat a movie thing me and some friends are going to work on. As of now, I have the homepage done but I want to make some minor changes to it. Of course, I wrote it notepad because notepad is pwnage. But then I got Dreamweaver, which is also pwnage, and now it kid of feels like I'm cheating when I'm writing the HTML and CSS. But that's okay. Whenever it's done I'll throw some screenshots up in the interface or website design section here. And this might also lead to me making a portfolio just for my stuff. Basically, because I have nothing better to do and it's a change of pace.

After five hours I've finally dragged myself away from Viva Piñata. I've heard stories of these hardcore Halo players and people like that going out and buying it and becoming obsessed. Also I had to buy it because it looked like the most ridiculous game. But there is something about buying just one more building and then getting off. So it's that and Gears of War that has been sucking up my time. But Gears of War is one damn kickass game. Halo is better but Gears is comparable to it.

Christmas. I had a good one. Hopefully have enough money to build a new 'pooter once Vista comes out and to buy a new iPod if the 6g and/or iPhone is announced at Macworld this year.

So today I submitted my first Bryce render in a long, long time. I forgot how enjoyable Bryce can be. I'm defiently going to continue with Bryce from now on. Along with learning TG2 and learning how to brush a real nebula in Photoshop. That should be interesting...
I have an idea for a sort of 'End of the Year' Flash but I seriously doubt I could get it done before the 31st. At this point it leaves me basically Saturday to work on it. Because Sunday I'm going out the state for a New Years party and tomorrow, well today at this point. (It's around 11.55pm right now, Thursday) Is my birthday. Yup, in about 5 minutes I'll officially be 15. Yay me. Good to because I hated 14. But about that Flash, I don't want to be working on something on my Birthday. I'm looking forward to hanging out with some friends tomorrow and end up doing something stupid and running from the cops...again.

I type this journal with a box of Kleenex sitting right beside me, half gone and a pile of used tissues on the ground. Damn head colds. But I finally got out of bed and can at least sit up for a little bit. It seriously feels like 2/3 of my body weight is in my head and it's really hard to stand up longer than it takes to walk downstairs. Not exactly what I wanted after one of the most stressful weeks in a long time. Tests gal our. Just about in every class. And multiple quizzes in some. Fortunately for me, I nailed every single one. Except for one test, but thats okay.

Good thing is that there is exactly 8 Days, 16 Hours and 3 Minutes left until 8AM Christmas morning; the time I usually wake up. And that also means 12 Days, 8 Hours and 3 Minutes left until December 29th; my birthday. I'll be 15. Thank god too because I hated being 14.

Then on January 7th (I believe) Macworld kicks off. And this year, i have the highest of hopes for what Apple has up their sleeves for iPod. I don't think I'll be disappointed. A full screen video iPod and an iPhone will make me one damn happy consumer. Then, of course, Vista launches. And hopefully a new computer for me. I'm not sure if I want to build a kickass desktop that would be lite up like a Christmas tree or buy one of those ultra portable 'pooters that you can hold in the palm of your hand. Either way, I'm looking at around 2k. I've already achieved my goal of 1k and Christmas should get me the other 1k.

And in the art world, Terragen 2 was made available yesterday. My impression was very good, even though I don't know how to use it yet. But I've heard some very good things about it. I really look forward to learning it well.

Its looking like a period of down time for me on dA. I love this place but the Holidays make life to busy to be making stuff. Especially at my rate of creation. And that just about wraps it up. I would update the quote and favs and that stuff but my nose is running like Niagara Falls right now. Have a an awesome week.

Hey. Another Bi-weekly update. Maybe Fridays aren't the best day of the week to be writing this. Okay, well, anyway, interesting week, as always. Mainly personal stuff. But it's all good.

I made a few more slight CSS updates. The little reflection S201 logo and redid the moods at the bottom a bit. It's getting there at least.

So thanks to a little help from ~powerpointer I think I have a way to start making some space art again. I know, it's been terribly long since I've made anything but I do love making it and want to continue. So hopefully I'll get to try it out this weekend and see what happens.

In history a few days ago we were analyzing the Declaration of Independence pretty throughly and the once line that stood out to me agagin and again was...

Especially the Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. This gave me an idea. And it is something that I plan to follow up on. I want to create a three part space series on these. I think it would be a nice series and an enjoyable to one to create.

So it's been three weeks since I wrote one of these. I know I've been lazy but that's ok. And it looks like I just missed the deadline to get this posted on Friday seeing as its 12.01 now and Saturday.

So a lot has happened lately. I'm not sure what exactly but a lot has. Some things I don't really want to talk about, which doesn't mean that they are bad things, just private things. But I did almost revap my page. I made a new webcam Flash thing. Yes, it's simple but I like that. And I kinda redid the things in my journal. I think it looks a lot more streamlined now. I also continued to work on some CSS code for here but it's not done yet so I'm not going to put it up. Nothing special, just white background, black text, a few colors. Basic stuff. Also I want to make a new ID. Maybe tomorrow. I'll see.

Tis' that time of year again. The Holiday Season has officially begun. Christmas trees, lights, little towns, fires, political correctness. The usual. I can't say that I don't enjoy, cause I do but it drives me crazy with all this being tolerate of others religions so its incorrect to say Merry Christmas now. Please. Some people have there head way to far up their ass. So may I be one of the first to hope you have a Merry Christmas.

Now, as for art stuff, no t much is going on as has been the trend lately. I open Apophysis or Terragen every now and then sometimes getting something I like, others not. No major projects going on. Now that I finished What Really Matters that is. Speaking of that, I'm really pleased with how everything worked out with that. I've gotten a lot of really nice comments on it, not only her on dA but from people at school, my family and since I put it in my AIM profile, just some random people telling me how cool it is. I'm glad so many people like it. I put a lot of time in and it was worth every second.

But life has been kinda rotten lately but it has seemed to turn itself around very quickly and for the better, much better in the last few days. Really since last Sunday when I was confirmed. However the original problems are still there but just don't seem like they have any meaning now. Hey, whatever works.

Well, it's midnight, I'm tired. It's been a pretty relaxing day but still. For everyone in the US, hope you had a great Thanksgiving. A big glass of water, my comfy Pj's, a little Tv and some sleep sounds really good right now. Thanks for reading, and I'll cya around.

So this week I made a fractal and terragen. I pleased with the outomce of both of them. Hopefully I can find omse time to get into Photoshop and start again with Meyta and maybe finish Quiet Storm. I've been messing around with a few planets, tryin different methods and stuff like that.

Other than that, I'm still obssesd with Eve and with school, everythnig is busy. A few days ago I finally beat Need for Speed Most Wanted though. So now I won't be playing that all the time thankfully.

So basically, I'm slowing adjusting to having school and having less time...all that fun stuff. And my ideas about learning Flash is rearing its ugly head again. Which isn't a bad thing, just time consumering...and hard. That and learning Visula Basic. I took a class at school and my teacher is crazy. Not mental crazy (Although I think that sometimes) but crazy as in what she expects us to do and know.

I have a few ideas for some new jounral stuff, maybe I'll make the it over the weekend or week and have it ready for next Friday, if not, o well.
