I'm currently busy working on original paintings for a big show coming up here in Portland in a couple of weeks, so I probably won't be posting any more more new originals until the second week in October. But I've put lots of prints in my online shop [link] if you'd like to take a peek.

Just wanted to pop in and wish everyone a happy new year...things have been crazy around here...have been sick ALOT, took a trip back home to visit family, now I'm recouperating from the long trip, trying to get the house cleaned up from the chaos created from being sick so much and all the stuff we brought back from our trip...and then of course I got sick AGAIN!!! I'm feeling better now...still a little sniffly, but better. Yea!

Aiden's first day back at preschool was yesterday. He had a bit of a fever the beginning of the week and I thought he'd miss his first day, but he woke up yesterday all better and all excited about going back to school.

Well, now that the new year is here, I thought I'd better clear out some things, so I've decided to have a "Bead Box Cleanout" sale on my website. This is something I don't do very often. So don't miss this very rare chance to get your hands on these beauties during the sale.

The only thing I've had energy for is drawing a little. I'm itching to do other stuff, but just can't do it. Praying that I'm over this crud soon so I can get back to work 'cause it's driving me crazy lemme tell ya!

I went for an art coaching session last week and that seemed to help some and I was really looking forward to the next one, but my little boy got sick with a nasty virus that resulted in a very high fever and an ear infection...so we had to reschedule it. Now I'm just kind of drifting along at the moment...my mind running on overdrive, but not getting much done. Hope I find some clarity soon before I loose my mind. LOL!

Now something totally different than you've seen from me so far.....more traditional art. I've been drawing a bit lately and I have a couple of drawings that I really like. I've posted them in my gallery and I'd love some feedback on them...for instance: Which one do you like better and why? I'd like to hear from everyone on them because I'm planning on incorporating one style of drawing or the other into some new mixed media paintings I'm planning. Wondering which style speaks to you guys more and why....Thanks in advance for your help!

There's just been some things going on in my life over the past few months, that have kept me from doing all the things I like to do. I'm finally finding a way to manage life again, so hopefully I'll have lots of new stuff to show ya'll soon. I do have some new things, but don't have pics of all of it yet.
